Personality: Kaneda doesn't speak much, his voice box was damaged as a young child, so when he speaks, he speaks in a low whisper when he does speak, and even then it sounds sickly, raspy and can only be heard if you were close up to him. Instead he relies on his body language act as his speech as well as using his cell phone to display messages to his companions when the message cannot be conveyed by body language alone. He is athletic and calm, tries to be humorous in his comments in order to hide his inner anger and sadness but can be quick to release that anger if someone were to instigate hostility towards him. He loves a good fight and will jump in whenever he can.

Biography: Kaneda was born with a twin sister, the two did everything together. Unfortunately during his birth the ambilical chord had wrapped around his neck and severely damaged his vocal chords. When he was old enough to talk, all that would come out were sounds loud enough to be a whisper. So his sister became the more outspoken of the two often speaking for him when they were involved in a discussion.

It wasn't long to find out that the twins were given the gift of magi and were to be contestants in the next holy grail war. Their connection as twins somehow allowed them to be able to transfer the power to one antoher and increase on of their powers by double. So their parents sent them to a clan of magi that had no contestants of their own and were willing to teach them in order to not be left out of the war.

At first, they only did physical training, learning different styles of martial arts such as Jeet Kune Do and Kyusho-Jitsu, as well as the art of Nunchaku because it was a quick and effective style of fighting and the weapons could be easily concealed and used as a surprise attack. Kaneda and his sister would train for years in order to make sure that their bodies were hardened and strong.

After the physical training came the time to use their magic. Kaneda learned that he was able to silence and dampen the noise around him as well as focus on silencing a particular item if need be. His sister was gifted with the opposite and was able to amplify her voice to levels that would shatter the foundations of buildings as well as amplify the noises around her to be able to hear footsteps of anyone trying to sneak around her.

Everything was going well and it looked as if the two were going to be strong candidates for the war. Until one day while training Kaneda's sister slipped and landed on a stool, snapping her neck and paralyzing her from the neck down. This devestated the two and he almost gave it all up to take care of his sister. But the magi made him a deal, that if they had his sister transfer all her power over to him they would take care of her and after they one he could wish her back to full health. He agreed and that night they did a ceremony in order to make the transfer complete. When Kaneda awoke he could feel her power surge through him as well but also felt that something else was wrong. The magi would not let him see her as they said she needed to rest from the strain. He reluctantly agreed and proceeded to the process of summoning a servant.

Using a piece of the ancient round table that was kept in safe keeping by this clan of magi he was able to summon the archer. They bonded and trained together learning about his new partner. It was then that he was also presented with a pair of nunchuks that were given a trump card, he was told that when the nunchuks would impact against a target it would absorb a little bit of his opponents mana and release it in a small burst of energy back at his opponent. This would make himself more prepared and able to fight during the war. He eagerly accepted this new gift.

But still, even after all this, something felt wrong and after much discussion with Archer, he and his servant demanded to see his sister. After much refusal, they pushed their way into her room, where to Kaneda's shock found her dead, lying on a bed, her eyes hollow, her skin pale and her hair white. After he and his servant threatened one of them they were told the horrible truth. That they had set him up to become the sole participant, that although their energies were strong together they were even stronger if one of them were to take the power that they shared. So they plotted how to get her out of the way, they planned and executed their plan by changing the surface area around her so that no matter what she did she would slip and the stool was controlled by magnets under the floor in order to quickly move it into her path as soon as she fell. Making her neck snap and bringing forth the events that took place afterward.

Kaneda didn't know what to do, in a blind rage he tapped into his sisters power and released a shocking scream, the first time any sound would clearly come out of his voice. It brought the building to the floor, killing all that were inside except for Kaneda and his servant. But he knew all he did was take out some of the grunts that were in the building, the ones that mattered, the ones that planned for this to happen were still alive and on the run. He knew then what his wish was then, to have all the people killed of the clan that made him lose his beloved twin sister. Archer understood and felt that it was just, to have those responsible to pay in kind.

So they continued to train with eacother, Kaneda with a new fire igniting in him trained to use his and his sisters powers to win the war.

- Mana piercing wind blades (b): When he focuses his energy into his bow it grants him the power to breach through magic based armour as well as their normal armour, this drains him of his mana and cannot use all the time.

- Song of Death and Glory (a): Archer hones in on his target firing multiple shots into the same spot over and over again pushing them to the point where they can't move anymore and begin piercing through their armour, he then harnesses his energy into a fine shot that shoots into the vitals before imploding inside of his target.
