@Lugubrious Dammit! You ruined my plan! Oh, well. Time to go with the back-up. BTW, Steve wasn't hurt too bad by the bullets because of zombies, skeletons, creepers, endermen, and other Minecraft monsters.

Exposure to monsters gives him bullet resistance? I don't quite follow the logic, but it doesn't matter to me. As far as I'm aware, only the RP's specific stats determine character ability. If 2 physical defense is enough to laugh off bullets, fine by me.

@LugubriousI'm with you on that, but I think he means to say that he has pain tolerance, not damage resistance.

@Holy SoldierJust to clarify, there's no rule against "liking" posts here, right? I ask only because I've seen PvP games (see @Lugubrious's 'Crucible') where that actually mattered, so I just want to make especially sure it holds no weight here.

@Etherean FireNo, it doesn't matter here and I don't see why it would. As far as this entire game goes, I am the only one not allowed to "Like" anyone's posts because it upsets a player.

@Lugubrious Dude! Bringing down the roof, much? Although, with Steve on top, he wouldn't take as much damage as James and Slayer.

James has shielding and Slayer is a vampire. I think we're good.

And building a ceiling, given how long building takes in Minecraft, would be a completely ludicrous time for the two to stand around doing nothing, so it's definitely not a very large ceiling. Nothing is a free action.

Well, I would guess the ring is 15 meters. That's 25 blocks including the center. That takes me all of 15-30 seconds to fill in. Considering Steve is a master builder, 10-15 seconds.

There's not really been any indication of ring size, though since you specifically stated that Steve's blocks were each three meters by three meters, it would only take five to span a 15-meter arena. Still, even if being a 'master builder' -which isn't stated on his sheet beyond a strength being 'building'- allows him to place blocks faster than usual, it takes less than three seconds for Slayer to strike twice.

All that aside, since it takes an ordinary minecraft player ten seconds to break a cobblestone block by hand, it doesn't seem to me that someone like Slayer with superhuman strength would have much of a problem breaking any blocks that fall toward him, if he even deems that necessary.

Exactly why it would take 25 blocks placed in just over 10 seconds. The breaking blocks would take longer, though, since it's closer to 5 seconds with a stone pickaxe, that' be 40 seconds that Steve would be hoping you two are focusing on each other because Steve is little more than an annoyance to them right now. The only reason he's still in this fight is because of his high pain tolerance.

Hm? According to the wiki, it takes .75 seconds to break cobblestone with a stone pickaxe. Perhaps my source is inaccurate?

Anyway, Slayer would rather target the annoyance first so as to have a good fight with the remaining individual, though it does leave him open for a potential cheap shot from James.

Well, if the annoyance isn't doing any real damage, why not get rid of the real threat first?

It feels like 5 seconds...

@Lugubrious@RokkuHoshi@ZarkunSince you guys' fight hasn't continued for 6 days...Is someone yielding here? I know Rokku needs to post for Steve, but if you guys aren't going to actively finish each other and drag this on...I'm just letting you know that the survival match will continue for as long as either of you is still conscience lol. Or until enough participants yield. I've been reading it and it hasn't reached a point to where I would have a force-yield with GM judgement.

Oh no, I'm not yielding, just patiently waiting. Though slow progress may be mildly annoying, I have no problem with it continuing until it reaches a satisfying conclusion.
