Raven looked at the dancer woman in bewilderment as he was handed bandages and some weird poultice thing. "Wait, I don't know how to use these?" He exclaimed, but it was too late as she disappeared around to the side of the wagon. He looked at the wounded man and laid him down onto the bed. "Hey man, can you hear me? Where you at in there, dude?" The thief asked, trying to get any sort of response. That's what you're supposed to do, right?

Suddenly, a new woman approached the wagon, and was asking Raven about the shit going down in the Tavern, what started this whole damn mess.

"Hey, what's going on over there?" She asked. Raven didn't really turn to look back as he flipped open the lid to the jar, still trying to figure out the contents of the mixture.

"Oh y'know, Mad Jester worshiping vampires and all that shit starting a fight. Y'know, that normal shit..." Raven replied with a mild hint of frustration in his voice. He then turned around, getting a good look at the woman. "You know how to use these properly?" He asked, gesturing towards the small amount of medical supplies he was given.

"Are you serious, Daren?"

"What?" D'ren muttered, half conscious.

"Get up!" barked the invisible female fallen angel that haunted him.

As D'ren's head listessly fell to the side to look in the direction he thought her voice was coming from, he saw her standing where the silver-haired woman was standing. His eyes fluttered open and close before he caught sight of Raven doing something nearby. D'ren's eyes snapped open and his hand quickly gripped the man's wrist.

"I need some clothes," said the naked man, who was only partially covered by swamp mud.

"Oh y'know, Mad Jester worshiping vampires and all that shit starting a fight. Y'know, that normal shit..." Raven replied.
Freyja, being unused to such unrepentent profanity, instinctively covered her mouth, but said nothing.
Then Raven turned around to get a good look at her. "You know how to use these properly?" he asked, gesturing at the medical supplies.
Freyja nodded, and removed her hand. "I do. Stand aside, please." Before Raven could move out of the way, the injured man grabbed his wrist. "I need some clothes," he said. Freyja gently peeled the man's fingers away and took them in her own hand. "Do not worry, friend," she said, her voice warm and calming, "we will find you raiment. First, let me treat you."

She surveyed his body for wounds. The only injury she could find was his foot, which was swollen in places but otherwise intact. That meant his ailment was internal. She pressed her hand to his chest and poured her Dust into him to diagnose his symptoms. Blood count normal. Blood sugar low. Substrates low. The Dust returned to her, and she removed her hand. "He's exhausted," she declared aloud to whoever would listen. "Where is the food and water?"

The Morning
Dr. Tavar moved like a flash the tip of his Rapier planting its self below a man's jaw. With a twist of the blade and removing it. The Doctor spun knocking the blade that was coming down at his back away. The heavier short sword would easily batter and make an opening in Doctor Tavar's defense. Tavar jumped back out of the Bandit's next swing. And replied with a thrust to the man's chest.
The third and last man was already on his horse and kicking it away down the road. Tavar had only enough time. To grab his saddle bags before the horse and the man vanished down the road.

Later
Dr. Tavar finally made it and was standing outside the Shit Faced Tavern. As Chaos happened unsure what to do he drew his rapier and adopted a ready pose. one hand above his head the other holding his blade in front of himself.
At that point, he noticed the wagon. Reaching into the bag over shoulder he produced a bandolier of small glass vials. Popping the corks on two he downed them. Then dashing over to the other group by the wagon. Putting himself between them and whatever madness was happening out frount. In a defensive line, The potions take effect at that time. And work there magic.

A dark figure watched the chaos unfold from a dark alley, what could cause such distress? He wondered, curious he shifted into a bat and flitted inside the tavern, it took a mere second for him to identify the problem, a hulking man was going toe to toe with one of his kind, how incredibly brave, if not foolhardy, he studied the other vampire curiously, why was she here? After just a few seconds he noticed the Mad God's emblem hanging around her neck, this would not do, he promptly shifted to his human form and began pulling power from the fear in the air, he would need it in the coming battle.

The armored figure of a tall woman walks into the bar and looks around.
She's about 6 feet tall with the only part of her pale skin being her hands and lower face, the rest is obscured by her helmet and heavy leather and wool clothing which also conceals her body type. Long black hair spills from under her helmet and the end of a scar is visible on her cheek, coming down to rest against her jawline. On the backs of her hands are tattooed runic circles and on her chin a small strip of nordic looking runes that go down the underside of her jaw to vanish under her collar. Across her back is slung a heavy crossbow and a two-handed greatsword
She looks around then walks over to the bar. Striking hazel eyes look out from the eyeslits as she looks at the Bartender
"Ale, cold. And a room for the night"
She speaks with a thick Nordic accent and she pays for the drink and goes to sit in a corner. She spends the next while watching the patrons carefully as if looking for someone in particular.

Since the combat had moved outside, one of the larger wenches who had remained hidden in the backroom emerged and began to clean up the mess. A couple other servers sneaked back into the wrecked tavern to do the same. The big woman took the newcomer's coin as she bought an ale and she smiled nervously before she and another server walked over to the dead bartender. They bent over and took hold of the corpse and dragged it into the backroom where they would prepare to answer questions of the town guard.

Very few people remained in the tavern; there was the new bartender, two servers - a female and a male - and only two patrons, who were either too drunk or too apathetic to care about the violence done inside and to the tavern.

The wench and her servers went back to cleaning up the tavern for future customers, if the vamp didnt completely raze the place first.

A young man strode into the bar and took a seat at a corner table as he awaited service, he appeared to be human at first glance, any further scrutiny would have the observer notice his pointed ears and silver hair which marked him as elven, as he sat he took a look at the tavern with a bored expression on his face. (Please disregard the previous post it was not up-to-date)

(No problem)

The head wench strolled back over to the bar counter and nodded to the elven gentleman. "What will ya have, kind sir? A tame ale or one of our harder house beverages?"

As Alice lunged at the Argonian, she honestly hadn't expected to be knocked into the air in the next moment. The frost demon's fist hit her before she even knew it was there -she'd been hoping to get the Argonian out of the fight before he'd have been able to successfully summon such a monster.

Oh well. Her form flew through the air, and even though she'd been hit so suddenly she managed to land gracefully on the ground no too far from the entrance to the Tavern. She considered for a split moment, running back into the tavern. Obviously the Argonian wanted her outside earlier only so he could summon his minion, he didn't want to 'risk' destroying such a worthless building, or killing any passers-by. She couldn't act on her thought though, as a second after she landed a row of ice spiked up from the ground. As she moved to dodge the spikes, jumping over them as they passed and then turning back to face her opponents, she noticed her foes had multiplied.

She immediately looked to the other mage, or the three of her now standing there. This had to be the burning woman's work. Alice was about to move, to rush at the nearest of the three women, when she noticed too late the barbarian now coming to attack her. She shifted her movement slightly, trying to dodge but not really able to get out of the way fast enough.

The barbarian's claymore hit her side, and she felt her skin and flesh tear as the strike nearly cut through her, a deep gash now spanning the right side of her abdomen. She fell to her knees, hissing as her hands went to cover the wound, her own blood, a deep dark red that looked almost black itself soaking through her cloak as she used the fabric to put pressure over as much of the gash as she could. The ground was stained too now as she began to realize that she needed to leave. NOW. Her eyes glowed the same near-black red color as her blood as she began to chant a simple spell she knew by heart- she would open a portal to the Mad Hell in order to make her escape.

Mergoux hears the fight from inside and looks at the tavernkeep
"Guess I'll find out myself then"
She draws her crossbow and rushes out the door of the tavern to see the fight. Once outside she pauses, looking in mild confusion at the chaos around her, but eventually decides she doesn't like the look of the frost demon.
"Oh hell."
She takes careful aim then pulls the trigger on the heavy crossbow, firing a black shafted bolt flying towards the demon's throat.

The vampire dodged the icicles coming from the ground, to which Caligate expected. The punch itself was the main thing Caligate desired to make contact, and that was the thing that kept the vampire off of him. He conjured up his Spectral Bow quickly, as the bow took little to no effort to make. His barbarian friend came in from the side and slash the vampire right in the gut, dealing a deadly blow to the gut. They were bleeding profusely, stumbling to their knees. They began to cast a spell, to which the Argonian grinned.

"Not today, vampi-"

His words were cut off by an arrow that whizzed past him, straight into the frost demon he summoned. Were it to have a throat, the arrow would have struck there. Fortunately, the demon was more like a giant mountain of ice, so the arrow did next to nothing. Unfortunately, this caused this demon to turn from the vampire, and head towards the source of the arrow.

You've got to be kidding me...

He turned to see a tall woman, armor in a horned helmet, pointing a crossbow at his frost demon. She looked to be a warrior, probably of similar caliber to the barbarian. What parts of their body that wasn't covered by armor was adorned in tribal tattoos, also similar to the barbarian.

The frost demon charged the woman, shoulder first, aiming to slam her into the wall. Caligate had to dismiss his spectral bow and concentrate himself again to try and control the demon from destroying the tavern. He wouldn't be able to stop the charge, but at least he would be able to control the demon's action afterward.

Mergoux curses violently as the titanic Frost Demon charged at her. She tosses her crossbow to the side and dodges left, barely avoiding the charge as she draws her weapon, a massive two-handed sword and brings it down roughly where the back of the knee would be on a human.

"What the hell is this thing?!" she cries out in a surprisingly soft voice tinged with a heavy slavic/nordic accent

Her long black hair, partly braided with little gold beads in a nordic fashion, swings around as she spins and rips the sword free with her muscular arms, she then goes to swing again. Along said arms are tattooed manacles at the wrist with chains wrapping up her forarms which then are shown breaking and turning into vines which wrap around 8 coins on her left shoulder and a flower with 8 petals on the other.

Hrothgar roared with a thousand furies at cleaving the side of the vampires’ gut, “hah, not so slippery now huh, you demonic filth!? How’s my blade feel against your cold dead skin? Is it a sharp searing pain like when someone stabs a knife into your gut, or does the pain come from the horror of the realization that you are about to die by the hand of Hrothgar, called by men the Barbarian? Oh look, it turns out that you bleed abomination! And your blood is colored the same **** as my cat’s runoff, how delightful!”

As Hrothgar stood there boasting at his mortally wounded foe, the vampire started chanting and opening up some kind of portal. His Argonian friend created a spirit bow, pointed it at the vampire and spoke, “not today vampire…” before being rudely interrupted by an arrow whizzing past him and hitting his ice demon in the face. Hrothgar looked to the source of the arrow attack to see a woman in a horned helmet very much in the same type of fashion as his people wore in Nornland holding a crossbow. She was covered in tribal tattoos and held many of the fashions regarding hair and garment which were common in his land.

The Argonian got rid of his spectral bow and sent the demon charging at the woman. The woman shouted something and then engaged with the demon. Hrothgar however turned to the vampire having his focus completely on ending this annoyance once and for all. He took his foot adorned in hide boots and fiercely kicked the wounded vampire to interrupt her spell before pressing his boot upon her chest raising his claymore and letting out a furious roar ready to bring down the claymore to her neck.

Alice ignored the barbarian as he gloated over landing a hit on her, she had better things to focus on. As she chanted, the ground around her began to writhe and glow a dark gold color. Soon the portal would take full form, a swirling door of energy connecting this world to the mad hell. Maybe she'd let it keep expanding once she was through? It would be nice to see these idiotic foes of hers fall through and begin to slowly lose their minds in the realm of her lord.

She was on the last stanza of the spell, the phrasing of each word slipping easily off her tongue as she chanted. At least, until Hrothgar forced her onto her back on the ground, interrupting her spell and trapping her there with a foot on her chest as he raised his weapon for the final blow. She didn't flinch or even blink at the barbarian as he did this, but her mind was racing. She would find a way out of this.

The thought crossed her mind just as the hammer was about to drop- this guy was an idiot. She spoke mentally, everyone in the area able to hear her words. "Well, considering it took three of you and a Demon to defeat just me, I know you have no chance against our dear Maximilian. In fact, I doubt you'll even make it to the cave of ghosts. Do you even know where that is?" She paused to grin at the barbarian, the glow in her eyes disappearing completely as she did. Without the unnatural glow, she looked almost like any normal woman, if you could ignore her fangs at the corners of her smile that is. "Go ahead. Kill me. My soul will join my lord in his Mad Hell, and there I will watch you all joyfully as you try and try and fail to even see Max before you too die, and join me in our Hell."

The dancing girl in her vardo wagon continued to peer into the basin of water. She bore witness to the vampire's defeat and lamented the lost opportunity to inflict more spells upon the woman that had casually tossed her aside like a thrice chewed reed. She had so many ideas she had wanted to try, none of them lethal but all of them greatly annoying. Again, she chided herself; she wished she'd had presence of mind to rip a hank of hair or lift some personal object belonging to the vampire. She really shouldn't have panicked but who ever anticipated a random vampire attack in a tavern?

Kill her, the dancing girl urged, just lop off her bedeviled head and be done with it. The minion would be absorbed into the mad realm, become part of the screaming winds for all eternity. Still, she rather suspected the barbarian would spare her or at the very least the lizard sorcerer would intervene.

D'ren was amazed when a familiar sight - that of a whirling black portal - appeared behind the man "helping" him. Out stepped a loyal friend, Vorshal the Wraith. The Wraith walked over and shoved the boy aside before kneeling by D'ren.

"Vor! Buddy!" D'ren exclaimed with subdued exuberance. "I knew ye guys would come!" Vor healed D'ren's wounds by simply waving his hands over him. D'ren blinked. "Ye don't have that kinda power."

In a deep, otherworldly tone that reverberated in the walls of the wagon, Vorshal said, "All will be explained! But first, come with me."

The two stood and walked through the portal. It vanished.

Mergoux doesn't really know what's going on and only sees a Barbarian about to attack a young looking girl.
She dodges away from the Ice Demon and rushes the Barbarian
"You kill her and you deal with me!" she shouts loudly as she charges him, attempting to shoulder bash him away from the girl
