THE MIDNIGHT RUN
----------


A tradition for first year students of the Academy dormitories. It is explained as a test of courage to explore the unknown darkness lurking in every zone of the academy when the moon is full. The story goes that every year on the first month of the schools reopening the grounds are haunted by the spirits of the dead that curse otherwise friendly elementals into manifesting to oppose the curfew breakers.
Teachers are not strict of the curfew after 11 as they are generally asleep (Or choose to watch and monitor) so the older students rouse the first years door by door until they gather enough participants.

The objective of the run is to be the first to reach the main Academy building doors, loop around the 'haunted fountain', then trek it back to the dormitories.
Rules are explained as follows: Do not wake the teachers, no use of powers, do not get caught by the 'spirits'.

The first to complete the run is given a reward that will be given out the following day.
