@Dawnscroll, I've noticed a couple of things regarding Logos.
Firstly, one of Logos' biggest fears is the heat death of the Universe, which is a result of increasing entropy. Yet most of the regular Laws of Physics do little to prevent the advance of entropy. However, magic, the Gap and the force of Change are all mechanisms by which one could theoretically remove entropy from the Universe and prevent a heat death (other risks notwithstanding). Yet, ironically, it are these things which Logos hates the most about the design of the Universe.
Secondly, in Divinus OOC canon, the language of physics and mathematics is Elvish. Does this make Logos the Elf King?
Totally alive here. Promise.
Its not just the Heat Death of the Universe; Logos being the "Witness" has seen various endings. Big Crunches, Heat Death, Endless Expansion, Eldritch horrors gobbling everything, ice ages, and literally just the Universe dying of old age.
Namely, for all his bluster, its not that Logos doesn't fear... the bastard has just forgotten. Regardless, you are right in a sense. His biggest enemy is not Chaos nor any of the other gods. His "ideal" is to create a Universe that NEVER ends. A perpetual machine, eternally constant and self-sustaining. The Divine Clockmaker winding the spring of his device and then stepping back to simply watch. Which is why he comes into significant blows with all the other deities.
Logos has heavily espoused, even though he's shit at enforcing it with his own daughter, is a no contact policy with mortals. The bullshit the gods get up just hastens the eventually collapse, either by their own damn fault, or in response to something they do. Logos is the ULTIMATE control freak, and despises anything not in his Design.
Logos is many things. He's beyond proud, and this restrains him from ever asking for aid from another. He's long-lived, and easily jumps to old circular lines of thinking, simply because he's been doing it for so goddamn long. He is a god because he is a god because he is a god because he is a god. Ultimately, very unperceptive to new ideas NOT of his origin; simply because he feels he has seen every possibly outcome to various actions. And further more, he is extraordinarily powerful. And therefor, he is arrogant. In the traditional sense, he is the strongest of the Gods. He will hit harder, think faster, and striker truer. No overconfidence, but an assiduity than cannot be challenged. And this arrogance will lead to multiple downfalls and defeats on his part....
IF I CAN EVER FIND TEN MINUTES TO SIT DOWN AND FUCKING WRITE.
Also, if this is canon... and I gotta get a link to this convo that spurred this... he would totally be Thranduil. Elrond is too fucking noble.
@Muttonhawk Not... entirely sure if Logos's powers include time yet. Did we ever settle on Logos taking the temporary mantle of Time? In any event, Logos is definitely the physical embodiment of what WE know as physics. Time and its quantumn bullshit was handled by Vowzra, and even Jvan had some sort of shared relationship with quantumn geometry and mechanics. Logos was more akin to handling Energy... gravity, kinetic forces, mass, temperature, that sort of stuff. If it existed on a molecular level or as a wave or a force, that was his playground and then some.
@Kho Question? Can I raise Elysium to Demi-God status? I've since thus been trying to work around this limitation ever since we started but... y'know...
