Nakreyya's unnaturally long ears perked at the sound of footsteps, a trio if she was counting right. Her hand came up to her face, and she flicked the eyepatch down to cover the disfigurement around her eye. Once the magic in her glass eye had seeped into the eyepatch enough, it could be heard making small whirring noises. As the trio of travelers approached Nakreyya leaned back in her seat, watching the more inquisitive of the women come to the table, leaning over her birds, and inspecting them.

Nakreyya was an angular woman, with sharp cheekbones, a sharp nose, and sharp eyes. Her features did very little to make her look friendly. The stoic expression she wore certainly didn't help there either. She did not believe these three meant her any harm - but looks, as ever, could be deceiving. She watched as a freckled human girl walked up to her table, delighting visibly in the small birds Nakreyya had been making.

"I like these," the girl said. She looked at Nakreyya then, and smiled. Nak wasn't much accustomed to that reaction from people. If her slightly haughty and icy demeanor didn't scare people away, then the scarring around her eye usually did the trick. "They are beautifully crafted. I don't know much about clockwork though... I think... but it looks like precise work... like you care a lot about your craft."

Nakreyya wasn't quite sure how to respond. Her good eye flicked from the young woman to the other two standing behind her. The other two were regarding her more carefully. She didn't sense suspicion or hostility, but regard all the same. Nakreyya was an unknown element. She inclined her head once to the trio, "Thank you for the compliment. My work is my life."

".. I hope we're not bothering you much though.. we've just been walking most of the day - off to explore dwarven ruins - but figured a rest might be in order.." The girl talked some more, and Nakreyya found one edge of her lips quirking upwards in a half sort of smile. The girl's cheer was somewhat infectious. Nakreyya appreciated her guileless honesty. Her interest was piqued at the interest of ruins. So far this place was shaping up to be a fine place to be; if these individuals were indicative of the normal person one could expect they were not afraid of magic, or her mechanica; they seemed to harbor no ill will toward elves; and there were ruins somewhere about. Nakreyya could not ask for more.

"You are welcome to a bird, child," she said. Her voice was tinged with a lilting accent. The girl had done her a service, after all - and it would be impolite to not honor that service, even if the girl had no idea she had gifted such a boon. "Take whichever you prefer, they are designed after the songbirds from my home city. And if you require rest, you may come to my fire. It's customary among the hunters of my people to offer their kills to travelers. Often a kill is too large for one, and meat goes to waste."

Nakreyya motioned with one hand toward the deer creature which was still spit roasting over the fire next to the creek. Nakreyya's nightmare horse, Anzu, let out a snort at the invitation. She glanced over at him, "You don't even like the cooked meat, so I don't know why you're complaining."

A hunter Nakreyya may have appeared, but there was something else to her as well. Her shoulders were too straight, her mannerisms too neatly executed. No matter how long she had traveled, and how far she was from home - her noble lineage was something she was unwilling to release. She carried herself in every way as though she were still a woman of title, a woman of wealth.

Vaulthuz nodded at Tiaz before pausing for a moment "Perhaps this host will not be a threat. Let us see where this goes." As the necromancer spoke, he turned to collect his staff from the fire nearby and waved his hand at the undead holding the apprentice ; the zombie released it's grip on the apprentice and shuffled away. After collecting his staff he returned his attention to the apprentice "Return to your master. Inform him that there is much to discuss...it seems they are not far away , so be quick.". He turned to Tiaz again "If this ends in battle, I trust you will know how to react."

Campsite-We're Going On An Adventure

Fionn Harken

An amused chuckle bubbled forth from Fionn as he stepped forward. It was a sound full of life and light, like what one might hear from the pixie folk of the deep woods on a warm midsummer night.

The light glinted off of his very out of place armor as he cast a curious look over the campsite. The horse, the waterwheel powered spit, small mechanical toys being assembled on the spot. And the dignified aura that hung around the campsite's single occupant like an echo of some shining past.

"It would be our pleasure." He said politely and moved over toward the fire and the meat roasting on it.

This waterwheel is too well designed to be a spur of the moment invention. The wheel is heavy enough to prevent the water from spinning the horktal too fast and sending juice flying everywhere. All the joints are well oiled and I'm not seeing any rust.

He turned to Nakreyya and asked.

"Travel far?"

Elise Hartell & Scarlett

@CoyoteLovely@Silvan Haven

Elise just lowered her arms and accepted the detour, giving Fionn a sideways glance. Her duty was protect both of them, so it only made sense she was the most cautious, but she was also probably the most phased by the strange sight. She had seen clockwork before, though it was usually in the form of golems, however the nightmare steed was something very new to her. As it snorted at the guests, Elise tensed slightly, looking between Nakreyya and the creature before just following Fionn quietly. However instead of indulging in the invitation for food, she stayed near Fionn almost like a bodyguard, watching Scarlett.

"Really?" the woman exclaimed eagerly before snatching one of them up and almost hugging it to her chest. "I think this is one of the best things I've collected yet!" Scarlett beamed at her host and looked over to the fire when given the invite. Unlike the other two, she went straight for it before suddenly stopping. She looked back to the elf, paused, and said, "you're pretty." It was such an off the wall comment that it certainly made Elise blink in surprise. Scarlett didn't waste a moment continuing her journey over to the fire though, smiling gently to the black horse, completely unphased by it's presence (as usual). Sitting between the fire and the horse, the woman went about investigating her new toy.

'There's that strange aura again...' Elise thought to herself, watching the redhead. 'Maybe she was some sort of leader before she lost her memory. I bet people would follow her to the grave.' Taking in a deep breath, she finally turned to the elf and decided to offer the woman a small, formal bow. "I believe introductions are in order if you're sharing your hunt. I am Elise Hartell. This is Fionn Harken, our captain and that is.." She stood up and looked over to the other companion. ".. Scarlett."

Tarz scrambled away for his captors kicking up dust as he tried to push off faster and get sprinting down the cave to his master. Anything to get Mortan's considerable magic between himself and these monsters. He didnt run for long before sprinting directly into one of Mortan's Ghouls, which he bounced off with a grunt.

"My lord" the necromancer called

"Yes, yes, make way" Mortan commands with a sleight wave of his hand and the wall of Ghouls parted.

The necromancer walked forward, still slightly terrified of the creatured he encountered and visibly shaking. A reaction Mortan found most distasteful, a coward? in his ranks? He ignored the precieved sleight while he waited for the coward to report on what happened.

"My Lord i was captured-" he started, but Mortan interrupted "I am aware of that, who commanded the raised? who was their master?"

"Bonemelder. and, Tiaz The Twisted Shaman i think they said. Bonemelder was called a 'wolf lord' i think he is a ware. i- im not sure. and Tiaz! he was a tiger thing maybe a ware too."

Mortan sighed, granted "bone melder" and "Twisted Shaman" where right up his alley but this necromancer was pathetic, he would make a better slave than apprentice. But he would have to deal with that later, as much as the apprentice disappointed him the pair of creatures ahead was more of a curiosity that he desired to meet. Maybe allies, maybe a pawn to be used for his own ends either way it was probably going to be an improvement of his station. Mortan began to walk forward, leaving his Ghouls behind but his fallen knight still surrounded him like an Honor Guard for a king or lord.

Mortan stepped into the room with the two creatures, he looked thin and frail when compared to his knights, like that of an old man leaning on his staff for support. It did not appear as if he needed it to stand but he was certainly putting some of his weight on it. His skin drawn tight against his bones like a dry or mummified corpse. The only significantly noticeable part was the soft glow of purple from behind his eyes. and the polished armor sticking out from his dusty tattered robes. When he spoke his voice was a dry rasp like his body was deteriorating even though he was obviously kept alive through magic, he looked at the larger of the two, the tiger like creature. "the The Twisted Shaman I presume" and turning to Vaulthuz "And Bone Melder the Wolf lord. This is a very... interesting congregation. Allow me to introduce myself properly, I am The Gave Lord Mortan a Lich, in search of a new home. If i may be so bold as to ask, what is your puropse here?"

Nakreyya rose as they accepted her invitation to share her fire. The man's voice was polite, with impish laughter. The woman with him was of the 'bodyguard' breed. Nak liked that stock - no nonsense, will let you know if they plan to stab you.

The freckled girl shrieked with delight as she selected one of the birds. She cradled it as though it were alive, and for that - Nak liked the freckled girl all the more. And then she had called Nak 'pretty', which made Nak laugh easily, covering her mouth with the back of her hand. The joy the girl exuded was pleasant - sweet without being cloying, and honest. She was first to Anzu's side - Nak was about to warn her not to touch Anzu (he did tend to bite) but as she started to run her hand over his coal black hair, the horse let out an uncommonly pleased noise, and permitted her to continue.

I will be damned, Nak thought to herself, shaking her head. That horse hates everyone...

"I believe introductions are in order if you're sharing your hunt. I am Elise Hartell. This is Fionn Harken, our captain and that is.." The woman indicated the cheerful girl. ".. Scarlett."

"Elise, Fionn, Scarlett," Nak repeated the names to commit them to memory. "It is my honor to meet you. I am Nakreyya Bloodivy, though I do realize that is a mouthful, please feel free to call me Nak." She inclined her head as she spoke, smiling lightly.

"Travel far?" Fionn asked. He had been inspecting her waterwheel spit mechanism. An entire group of people who were interested in mechanical creatures and things - how interesting. Nakeyya offered him a bit of a wry grin.

"You could say that. I am... new... here. If I may ask, can you tell me where 'here' is?" Nakreyya chanced a moment of showing her hand - the trio seemed like decent people, perhaps they could help while she was trying to sort out her bearings.

The dagger met some resistance at the demon's thick hide, but slid in after a moment's delay. The demon roared in anger, but Mergoux also had its approval: it would have done exactly the same thing in her situation. Its hand recoiled, and its grip loosened enough that Megoux could breath, but it didn't let go completely. Instead it pulled her up, nearly to her feet as it retracted its arm. As it did so, it looked back and saw one of the other creatures, who Mergoux knew as Nebullius, about to launch some kind of attack. The demon did not know the nature of the attack, but it suspected it was magic or magic-based. Regardless, it had no reason to be hit by such an attack, and a very good reason not to be in one of its hands.

It moved the hand with which it was holding Mergoux (its right hand) from her neck to her left shoulder, and took hold of her with its left hand below her right arm. As it was doing this, it spun to face the creature and ducked behind Mergoux, using her as a shield to block the attack. The demon was unsure whether it was the kind that would hurt her, it definitely had the appearance of a hallowed attack that might only affect it. But what a turn of events it would be if it did hurt her!

Anyway, even the worst possiblilty would be that it would not be hit, which would hardly be something to complain about.

TC found trouble finding the source of the cry. The trees bent and twisted the paths he tried. Eventually he found a stream, and let Skank pause for a drink. He pondered, Demon Lord Mammon, The Greedfather, had sent him towards Riverdale, not to investigate cries in the night. If he was to find Riverdale, following the stream would be a wise choice. He climbed back onto Skank and lead her further south. Following the bubbling stream.

Skank began to slobber from the smell of cooking meat, long before TC noticed the fire. The four voices conversing, and the creak of a water wheel soon followed. Maybe The Greedfather's task was with these travelers, it seemed like infernal providence. TC didnt want to startle anyone so he re-slung Deborah and began to whistle an old Halfling tune as he slowed his riding dog to a trot. TC Bywater enters the clearing, astride his New Bastion Riding Hound he lightly holds the reigns, his pinky adorned with a large gold ring. His salt and pepper hair is slicked back and shiny, his burgundy riding coat is open over an intricately designed greened vest. His whistle mid note into a big smile," Hey Yo, whadda we gotta ovah here. How you doin?"

Tiaz grins maniacally under his hood and nods to Vaulthuz. Glad that the Lycan seems to have accepted his offer of alliance.
"Very well. We hear them out."
He shuffles slowly to move beside Vaulthuz, then turns to face the door. Each step seems to cause him pain and he leans heavily on his own staff, a twisted stave of oak with a razor sharp obsidian head embedded in the top. He looks over at Vaulthuz once more before the host arrives.
"Of course Wolflord! I have seen much battle. I would request however, that you leave at least 4 men alive should things so South. I shall require them for... rituals..." He grins maniacally again, yellow eyes glowing from under the shadows of his hood.

He watches the humans return casually, content to merely watch Vaulthuz deal with them, though his smile vanishes at mention of his hated title.
"You presume correctly human."
He looks the man up and down.
"Hm, your body rots, yet you still live on. Why would either of us want such a weak thing as yourself alongside us? Or even under our command?"

@LMPKIO @JaceBeleren

Mergoux's helmet, already loose from being slammed repeatedly into the ground, finally slips off her head as she's jerked upwards. It clatters to the ground and the woman snarls in rage as her long Elven ears, pierced with many a ring and stud. She gasps for air as her throat is released, choking and coughing, then tries to pull the dagger out of the creature's wrist, and ram it into it's throat.

"Hm, your body rots, yet you still live on. Why would either of us want such a weak thing as yourself alongside us? Or even under our command?"

Weak? Weak?! this poor stupid creature. Mortan chuckles to himself for a few moments, "You are half right Tiaz, i am no hulking monstrosity nor a great warrior. However i can make such creatures and i command many powerful warriors, and have allies in the Ancient vampire houses. What i lack in physical might i can make many times over between my ghouls and golems. Do you know what Necromancy can do? no, i suspect not. Or at least not the greatest things that can be done with it. allow me to show you." he grins, not menacingly but not innocently either. before long one of his Ghouls marches up into the midst of the group. "Ghorlan" he says to one of his Knights "if you would be so kind"

The knight nods and brings his heavy axe down into the Ghoul cleaving through its head spilling brain and shards of skull onto the floor. He continued quickly and expertly severing an arm and carving thick pieces of meat from its gut and torso. but the ghoul, now missing a limb and half its head still stood unphased by the damage, any apprentice necromancer could call up a simple zombie that would be easily killed by the damage wrought by the knight but It then walked back to its place in the Ghoul wall showing no sign of being hurt. "I am no conjurer of cheap tricks, and this is the least of my creations. Given time and bodies..." he seems to be lost in thought for a moment "I can make creatures the likes of which this world has never seen, that will make the mightiest knights flee in terror and whole kingdoms tremble in fear!" Mortan realized after saying it he probably sounded quite insane, and at the same time didnt care because he knew he could. Given the proper refinement, and sufficent numbers his Golems would raze this world.

Fionn Harken

A smile crossed Fionn's face at the elven woman's question. It certainly answered a few of his.

"The Gnarl Valley in the province of Brandmount. Which currently falls within the borders of Alanine Kingdom, settled upon the Horganla continent. Planet Ecetopia."

Before he could continue the rustling of plant life announced the arrival of a fifth person to the clearing. Another unusual one from the look of it. A halfling, something not normally seen this far from their ancestral homelands. The tune that sprang from his lips was cheerful enough and he looked friendly.

There was something about him though. Just a hint of shadow, a feeling that tickled at his mystical senses so faintly that Fionn could very well have been imagining.

Still.

Friendly until otherwise.

Elise Hartell & Scarlett

@CoyoteLovely@Silvan Haven@LPRKN

"Will do," Elise said simply, glancing as she watched Scarlett pet Anzu. She caught the faint glimpse of a blush on the girl's cheeks, causing the warrior to raise an eyebrow. Scarlett must've enjoyed the fact that she made the elf laugh so easily. 'Heh..' she thought to herself. As Fionn and Nak conversed, Elise mostly kept her guard up, glancing around the surrounding. However suddenly as the whistle of an old halfing tune drifted among the breeze, her head swirled to it's location, gently placing a hand on one of her swords. Thankfully it didn't seem to be anything but a simple traveler, though he seemed a bit.. pushy in her eyes. None-the-less he didn't seem threatening, making her relax once more.

On the other side of the camp, Scarlett simply sat next to Anzu, as the horse seemed to watch her figure out the clockwork songbird. Her attention was drawn up as well though as she heard the tune, perking up slightly to see what was going on. A halfing. Scarlett seemed distracted now by the new comes, but it was less fascination like it had been with her new toy or even heighten interest like it had been for Nak - instead, it was a watchful gaze, almost like she was curious what would happen. Regardless, she still took a moment to glance to the elf, smiling to herself softly. Elise had been spot on with her guess - Scarlett very much enjoyed the fact she made Nak laugh. It was a nice laugh, too.

Nakreyya pulled out a notebook as Fionn answered her inquiry. He rattled off the names of the places as though she should recognize them. "The Gnarl Valley in the province of Brandmount. Which currently falls within the borders of Alanine Kingdom, settled upon the Horganla continent. Planet Ecetopia."

"Alyanine... Alanine..." Nak tested the word under her breath, trying to set it right with her accent. She wrote down all that he had told him, and calmly closed the notebook, but kept it in her hands.

She liked the trio. Scarlett was cheerful and optimistic, Elise was sharp eyed and competent, and Fionn had the air of a leader - with peace and grace. Nakreyya's shoulders had just started to relax when a song caught her ears. She turned her eyes toward the noise, her eyepatch whirring lightly, fighting to give her information. She saw the halfling before he made the clearing.

"Hey Yo, whadda we gotta ovah here. How you doin?" Oddly, the creature's speech patterns reminded her of the Goblins back home. She had little use for Goblins on a personal level, however - they were quite good with mechanica. Still, Nakreyya was a newcomer here - she could not be sure of the dangers, especially when Elise stiffened - even if she did relax a moment later.

"We are quite well, hard not to be on be on such a fine evening. How are you my good fellow?" Fionne answered, and Nak believed it best to let him. She reached behind her, and carefully put her chair underneath her table, finding the small bag of berries and fruits she had salvaged to share with the meat on the fire. She walked to the fire, reaching down to the water wheel and unhooking it from the spit.

She set the bag down, and reached behind her back to unsheath a knife, which she used to cut long, even strips from the now succulent deer meat, setting them on a plate nearby that she had laid out earlier for just this purpose.

"We are quite well, hard not to be on be on such a fine evening. How are you my good fellow?"

"Oh, I'm good yeah. Still breathing. Names TC. Bywater. I've been uh... on da road a bit, just left New Bastion. WOuld you be so kind, as to allow me, a road weary weefolk, a spot by your comfortable fire?" Without waiting for a response, TC hoped off Skank and threw her bridle on a tree branch, then advanced for the fire. He scanned each face to see whose fire it was.

The man he first spoke to wore some strange attire, a big ginger who looked like he could hold his own in a fight. He seems like the knightly type, all white horses and handshakes. I could run Grandad's Shoe or maybe a Qi Tian Switch.
He saw the two young girls next. The brunette was another capable fighter, all plate and blade. TC could even sense some magic coming off of her. Not worth the risk The other girl however was an easy smile, she looked like the perfect Mark. Back in New Bastion I could turn a fat purse with...IS THAT A NIGHTMARE She sat idly next to a powerful and rare beast, the first TC had ever seen in person. Who did he belong to.
The third woman, the fire and the horse on fire were hers. Is this forest just blooming gingers? She was elven for sure, sharp features and an eyepatch. Wonder if shes ever ran a glim-dropper. The lines at the edge of her features were a hint to all the roads she has walked, an elf even more so. Hard to tell what plays she has seen.

"And who do I have the honor of sharing this warm flame with?"

Fionn Harken

"The fire is Nakreyya's." The young man said with a slight gesture towards the elf in question. "My name is Fionn and these are my companions Elise and Scarlett."

This seemed like a first name only type situation. Fionn had glanced the appraising gleam in the halfling's eyes as the man surveyed the campsite. To be truthful he had only caught half a second of it when the man looked over Scarlet.

It had been well hidden. The briefest of flares, a predator spotting enticing prey before once again pretending to be completely harmless. The vast majority of people would have missed it or dismissed as something else entirely. The only reason Fionn had caught it was because he had spent the better part of the last decade dealing with people like the halfling on a very regular basis.

Still, it should be fine as long as we are careful. I doubt he came here for us. Just another traveler heading towards the light of a fire as night falls.

"New Bastion huh? What trade did you ply there, if you don't mind my asking? It's a bit difficult to guess from your attire. Not enough baggage for a merchant and not enough steel for a soldier or mercenary."

Elise Hartell & Scarlett

@CoyoteLovely@Silvan Haven@LPRKN

Elise continued to stay near Fionn's side, apparently keeping herself quiet. She had always been more of a thinker and less of a talker, but Fionn had gotten used to that by now. In fact, the only person that made her talk the most was Scarlett - usually trying to warn her off of some dangerous path. That was her nature though - stoic, serious, and yet kind-hearted. Maybe she saw in Scarlett what she could've been from the beginning, if she hadn't such rotten luck. Then again, losing memory? That was pretty awful luck, she guessed. Either way, she kept quiet, watching the exchange mostly with a light hand on the hilt of her blade.

As the halfling came to sit by the fire, Scarlett offered a soft smile, laying the toy bird in her lap. She idly rubbed the nightmare steed's nose as she watched the man. Since she seemed so unphased by most of the going ons, it was hard to tell what exactly she was thinking. However another sideways glance to Nak might have given the tiniest of hints. Suddenly, "he has to know some magic." Her eyes found the hobbit once more, giving off a polite smile. "Otherwise he'd have more supplies for a journey.." She quickly eyed the riding dog for a moment. "Hardly enough food or drink, no weapons for hunting.." With that, she trailed off, shrugging.

In the moment, Elise realized she was right - how could one hunt without a weapon? Magic, of course. 'Clever girl..'

Nakreyya inclined her head as her name was spoken by Fionn. She finished slicing a fair amount of meat, enough to feed the five of them easily (TC included), and reversed her grip on the knife in her hand. With a quick motion the knife was wiped clean against her pants, and slid home in the sheath at her back, she offered the plate around to her companions for each to eat if they desired.

Once all had something to eat, Nakreyya took a moment to retrieve her notebook once again, writing the names of locations down for later reference. Ecetopia, they had said. Fionn had specifically referred to the planet. That was uncommon - were these travelers also from other worlds? She had met some like her... well - she had met some that traveled, very few traveled through Nightmares to get to their next destination.

She wondered if Scarlett was correct that TC used magic - it seemed plausible, certainly. And magic was quite the efficient means of not needing near as much gear for survival. Nakreyya had always been jealous of the interesting magicks that Masreon and Luraleth were capable of accomplishing - back when they had all been friends, oh so many years ago.

There is no sense in dwelling upon the past, Nak... You are here now and here is where your mind should linger. She chided herself quietly.

"Is this New Bastion some market town or location of some reputation?" Nakreyya asked, directing her question quietly toward Elise and Scarlett, so as not to interrupt any flow of conversation between Fionn and TC. As she awaited an answer, she drew one of the strips of meat up for herself, and ate.

TC's shoeless feet wiggled in the warmth of the fire. He salivated at the sight of the meat the Elvish woman was preparing, but noted how easily her dagger slid through it. " Oh I do a bit of everything, used furniture dealer, tour guide. Though adventuring does pay the bills." . Satisfied with his answer TC toyed with the ring on his pinky.

He soon felt the eyes of the small one named Scarlet on him. "He has to know some magic.Otherwise he'd have more supplies for a journey.." His eye twitched. Damn not as much of a stooge as I expected. TC had been caught in a hurrah before and new that sometimes you had to roll with the punches, let them feel like a confidant. " You are a smart one sweetheart. Eh dis must be the brains of your outfit. Your right I wouldn't be much of an adventurer if I left my armor in my underwear drawer. No, I know a few tricks." TC moved his hand through the air like he was conducting a very quiet orchestra. Out of the fire marched little clockwork birds like the one Scarlet held, except they all had TC's signature skunk like haircut. All in single file they trotted up to her before vanishing like breath on glass. A simple quiet illusion. He finished his trick with a projection oh her own voice behind her head. "Pretty neat huh?" He smiled at his audience." You dont have to fix every problem with a blade, most times brains will suffice. But when thats not enough I got old Deborah here." TC said nudging the handle of his bat," she is a nasty broad. I even know a good flame spell for the really tough spots." TC hoped this was enough to satisfy their curiosity.

A plate of that beautiful meat appeared before him. The elf, Nakreyya was offering it to him. This shocked TC. He didn't need to mention how long his journey was, offer promises of payment or ply at any points of sympathy. She shared willingly. This caused him to think twice about his earlier thoughts on this group. He overheard her ask about New Bastion, and he couldn't help himself but to speak. He loved that city and was shocked she hadn't heard of it. After a big swallow he whipped out a handkerchief and wiped his face." Wow, you've never heard of New Bastion? The First City? I'll tell ya lady, its a beautiful city just North of here. She's filled with anything you could ask for. Those cobble streets are ancient and there's a lot of secrets she don't want to give up. I know a few, I've been in and outta there for years. You should check it out one day, I bet ya, ya birds would go like hotcakes on the Trader's Terrace. Any of you folks climbed the steps there before?"

Vaulthuz inspected Mortan and his servants silently, circling around and examining his forces. Approaching one of the ghouls, he grabbed it's head and made it face him. After several seconds he released it and said "You use a different method of reanimation , we must discuss this at some point". The necromancer next moved to the fallen paladins, however after realising they were not undead he merely inspected them from a distance and muttered under his breath "Interesting.."

After spending several seconds examining Mortan's apprentices and giving small signs of approval or disapproval, he moved back to his position next to Tiaz "I believe that an alliance would be beneficial for both of us, there is much we could learn from each other and combining our power can only increase our chances of success. I am curious to see these golems you speak of, do you currently have any under your command elsewhere?" As he spoke, the undead under his command around the room sheathed their weapons. He also added "I am here to introduce peace and order to this world; the living waste their time with politics and material wealth, they crave nothing more than to fulfil their physical desires and die. Those who understand the value of knowledge over possessions will be the same ones who join me willingly, once I have purged this world of weakness I will use it's inhabitants to purge the next world. That is why I am here, to answer your question. Now will you join me in my purging of this planet? There is much we could learn from each other." He stood now staring intently at the lich, awaiting his response. His power and allies will be useful, and his knowledge in addition to my own could create powerful things, very powerful things indeed

Tiaz chuckles menacingly at Mortan.
"I was once told that to train the mind, one must first train the body. It's no good being able to wield magical power, if your body is a weak shell, barely held together by scraps of magic. As for your creations... well...You are not the only Necromancer here Human."
He shuffles a few steps forwards, then reaches out a massive hand to examine a Ghoul. He tilts it's head back and forth, then twists it in a 180, seemingly effortlessly.
"That said... I am not unimpressed. Your work is good. This is a good minion. I am curious to see it in action however..."
He takes a few steps back and looks over Mortan's entourage, frowning slightly. He then follows in Vaulthuz's footsteps, examining and noting approvals or otherwise. However he is far harsher and more negative than the Lycan was.
His disdain towards the Paladin's is obvious as he leans in and sniffs one, grimacing as he does so, then moves back to stand next to Vaulthuz, towering next to him.
"Oh... I suppose. The more the merrier."

He looks over at Vaulthuz as the Lycan describes his goals, and frowns slightly, as they tend to differ from his own rather vastly.
"What fault do you see in material goods?" he asks, seeming almost offended, then sighs and shakes his head. "Nevermind, perhaps later we could discuss this. For now, I am interested in seeing what Mortan's creations are capable of."
He looks back to the Lich expectantly.
