Well, what an exchange. Glad to see it's settled though (Of course, I always miss it initially 'cause I gotta sleep). For my part, I'll say that I echo Rockette's sentiment on the lone aspect of availability. Considering my own situations, I know exactly how it feels to need to disappear for a long while with little explanation, but I'd also appreciate it if those who take part in this recognize the importance of not just staying around if you decide to commit, but communicating thoroughly. We're switching from a rather large group to a smaller, more tight-knit kind of experience and the steadiness of player participation is one of the goals we hope to achieve with that switch. That's pretty much all I have to say on the matter though as Rockette hit on these subjects and more pretty well.

With all that said, hope to see everyone involved enjoy themselves and enjoy their characters. Our combined efforts will create an awesome experience.

EDIT - My second character is up, just to let everyone know.

Quick reminder; the powers, abilities - what have you - gained from the Aeon are not meant to be confused as spells in the term of things that Final Fantasy uses them as. Yes, it's magic related, but I believe the term of "magic" a broad scope of things.

The idealisms in relation to colour should reflect in the selected powers in your sheet. Use my character sheet as an example to see what I mean. You don't have to restrict yourself to the terms provided in the colour section, so long as it keeps to the general description of such. Also, the abilities and powers need to relate to the Aeon, as the SOLDIER is only made the way they are because of the bonding between Aeon and mortal host.

@Rockette Appears the niche I was looking to fill with my C has been taken, so I'm starting over from square 1. Forgive the delay. Your character will be as promptly created as I can manage.

Just to say, there's no reason why you can't have the same character concept. We don't have to have a properly filled out RPG party or anything. The story will serve the cast regardless of if we have two healers or whatever the case may be. Of course, there's nothing wrong with balance either if that's what you truly want to do.

Oh, I don't mean to imply an issue, there is none. I realize the story can handle more than one. I was simply proceeding to create my character under the need for a healer. Now that that niche is filled, I feel more comfortable falling back to an earlier desired character idea. I'm much happier letting someone else be the WM in this game.

@Noxious - I'm glad to see you around again. But I will put into question here if you do have the time to spare for sure? I can't really say anything about vanishing and leaving suddenly, I've done so here recently, and I know it's never by choice because, shit, life comes way ahead of this. But, my goal here is to uphold everyone to a sense of loyalty and commitment because damn if I'm going to see this Requiem finished, so while Icc proposed that you can alter or submit something a new, I just want to ensure that you are going to stick around because this is going to be a long haul.

I've made it through the first two rounds and now I feel invested. I'll be able to make time. I'm inclined to see this through, if you don't mind having me. :)

It's entirely at your decision if you'd like to include another character, I don't think I will be, considering NPC additions. Haven't quite decided as of yet.

I . I plan to get the IC running within this week, not sure exactly on the date, but hopefully within the next few days. I'm off for the rest of the day and into tomorrow, however I know we are waiting on one more character submission. If you'd like to double up, you're more than welcome to; secondary characters don't have to be SOLDIERS either, necessarily.

II . Updated aesthetics to Carmen's sheet.

III . Going to be doing banners of course, to old players: you're welcome to use your old ones, if you'd like new ones, that's perfectly fine. To new players, if you have specific pictures you'd like me to use, send them to me.

IV . Will be adding important NPCs within today with brief introductions to them.

All right, last characters are in! Just awaiting some secondary approval. Secondary characters can be done on a leisure, if you wish, otherwise we just proceed with the plan.

Now in the IC I'll introduce the new SOLDIERS along with a transitional post that puts all outside of Faelan before entering into the GZ. - i. e. Ground Zero. Though I am working the rest of the week - eck - I'll be working on the post through the time I have available, piece by piece, I want to start the IC this week, if that time allows me, otherwise Monday will be the day - since I know I have that day off for sure.

Anyways, banners will be in a leisure as well. I've also made NPC cards that will introduce such characters as we go along.

Still not sure how I want to lay out the character tab. The 0th post lays on top of the others a bit weird since I'm going to place SOLDIERS on top and NPCS below them. If I even use that 0th at all. Could use it for selective themes, or a song-vibe kind of holder that relates to Requiem. A "soundtrack" of sorts for muse workings.

hmm. Not sure yet.

Oh yes, me too. The world is fascinating, and I cannot wait to learn what Rockette and you have in store for us. The lady, she never does disappoint when it comes to a storyline, or plot.

Lol, better watch that high praise though. Rockette likes to act modest, but that ego is real and it can be a serious threat hahaha. I think everyone will enjoy it though. I'll admit, it's a pretty good plot and the world is fleshed out enough that we might be able to even do some side excursions and maybe include a few b-plots as well. There's lots of potential for character growth and exploration here. It's a well built universe.
