@ERode I getcha, I getcha,
I didnt realize she could run that fast without activating her Epitaph.
With her 'not being important enough' I would figure that day breakers would be glorified due to them being the only offenses against the tyrants? Or is there a more tense relationship with the general public?
She would need to activate her Epitaph, but there isn't much reason not to. At her level of corruption, she wouldn't need to strain herself to maintain a particulary powerful flame to keep the corruption at bay, so running around like Speedy Gonzales is A-Ok. The important thing to note is that, physically, all Daybreakers have more or less infinite stamina. As long as their mind holds up, they can persist. So stuff like eating tasty food and sleeping? Those are all for mental health rather than anything else. The problem with those who ALWAYS maintain that form (generally at 50% corruption) is that they can no longer sleep, and they run the risk of being consumed if their willpower wavers.
In regards to her lack of importance, it's more due to the fact that she's 'only' a Daybreaker at 10%. She's noteworthy because she's stronger than the general public, but she's also not SO strong that she'd be seen as a god amongst men. Considering how Daybreakers are a relatively loose organization, and considering how it's common knowledge that they demonically warp their bodies to stand a chance against Tyrants, while most of the population have a positive view on them, it's tenuous at best. The consensus is that as long as they're fighting for us, it's fine.
I mean, if she racks up achievements and really wants to get a motorcycle, she can probably get one. But that'll more often or not be seen as a sign of 'want' instead of 'need', because yeah, if she pushes her corruption, she can totes outrun a motorcycle, especially considering how there generally aren't smooth roads.
