The court room erupted into commotion, mostly voices objecting to Davis's claim. They ofter overlapped, and while their words couldn't be clearly heard, their disagreement was evident. Davis only needed to say one word to lower everyone's voice.

“Really?” Davis no longer looked like a deranged person, or even himself. He had a cold, piercing gaze. His entire stance changed. His posture was perfect, and he held his sword out of sight. “Not a single one of you can tell me why it wasn't Krista? But you're all prepared to tell me I'm wrong?” Davis shot Mary a wink. "Except for you. at least you're asking interesting questions. But the rest of you?" He slowly reverted back into a crazy spartan with a chuckle. “If not Krista, than who? Of all your friends that you've been paling around with, which one of them could have done it?” Davis placed his sword on the podium and looked at everyone. “Call me what you like, throw around Mondatta's name, but I'm just here for one thing: Infinite conquest!” A smile stretched across the disheveled man's face. "As Marianne said, the murderer could not have taken place more than an hour ago. But this makes a fatal assumption. That assumption being that Krista was knocked out at the same time Mondatta was killed.” Davis pointed at Krista with his sword. “She could have killed Mondatta, then banged her head on the wall she was propped up against.”

Aleecia was holding her chin. “That's possible.” She looked up. “But then how did she kill Mondatta?”

“Because of Max's rule, Mondatta and Krista were alone.” Davis took hold of the podium, still holding his sword. “So she could have taken him into the caves. Once they were alone, she might have had a weapon ready to attack him with...”

“The knife!” Bliss chirped. “The handbook says the wrapper was in Krista's room!”

Davis continued. “She would have been unable to breach his armor, and shoving Mondatta into a stalagmite could be the killing blow.”

Calvin's fists were shaking. “there's no way Krista did it, and you know it!”

Perfection smirked. “Why? Do you?”

~ Casing the Court~

Shaun felt sick from the literal rollercoaster that had brought the group to the Court. His head was spinning, and he looked pale enough where even a doctor might worry for him. For a minute it looked like he was going to throw up. There was a clears look of confusion and disorientation in his eye that said he really was not alright at present.

But that look quickly dissolved just as the room did into madness. Davis appeared on the verge of a full on psychotic break, if he wasn't already experiencing one, and everyone else was equally grasping in an attempt to deny his accusations. It couldn't have been krista who killed Mondatta... Right? That was impossible. There wasn't a chance that she was the blackened here.

He pulled the handbook from his pocket and placed in on the table in front of him, scanning through the different clues that had been uncovered, while idly tuning into the argument occurring around him. Davis was talking about nobody asking the right questions, but it didn't seem like he was asking them either; he was just making baseless claims, using speculation on events he never witnessed.

Finally, Shaun decided to speak up.
"Then what about the handle, Davis?" he sounded collected and calm, but quickly remembered himself; a blush spread across his face as he realised how stupid he must have sounded, trying to act cool and heroic, "I-if what you s-say is true... H-how does the h-handle factor into things? I-if you cant pr-prove how that plays a r-role, th-then your argument is fl-flawed..!"

Caora growled. Darn it. It didnt look good for Krista. Even he had to admit, that sounded a solid theory. More solid than Mondatta, as it had turned out.

But something was wrong.
"What do you think, Fang?" he asked of his stuffed companion. He listened closely to the sheep - it always had sage advice. It was right kore often than it was left! Hmm... Yes, that worked! Of course!

"Hang on, Mr Conquest. If your number thing is right, then who does the second footprints belong to?" Thank you very much, Fang. "Mr Monk was super big and heavy and these feet... They dont fit. There are four feets here, but Krista onlt has two! And Mr Monk's feet dont fit either. So... Someone else was in the cave!"

Eh? What was that? Oh, speak up, Fang, you're so quiet! The trap gasped. No way! That was so conspiratorial!
"Fang has a theory! He says... He says that someone was waiting in the cave! Someone hurt Mr Monk and waited for Miss Krista! Then she comes in, they bonk her on the head and drop the knife! All it would take is to hide the knife wrapper in Krissy's and wait for Mr Monk to be founded! If Krissy really did try to hurt Mr Monk with the knife.... Why are there two footprints!? And why is the knife still super sharp!?"

"Maybe it was possible that Mondatta put up a fight?" Lucas added, "just as Krista was able to deliver the final blow, he was able to push her away, only to make her unconscious? The scuffle could explain the missing footprints."

"W-what? N-no! That is not what happened! I don't know why that wrapper was in my room! I don't even know where you could get that thing from until now!" Krista cried.

"There is no other way to explain the wrapper in your room, Krista." Lucas shook his head, giving the panicking girl a sympathetic look. "It's against the rules for you to loan out your handbook."

"But I didn't give it away! Maybe someone took it when I was passed out!"

"And who was that?"

Krista responded immediately. "The killer of course!"

Alice lightly growled at Davis as he went from deranged to a more oddly confident side of himself.

How the bloody hell could he be smiling at a time like this!?'
She thought as her attention was turned to shaun and a few others.

The trap's theory peaked her interest as Lucas and Krista stated their part of the theory. Alice rested her arms on the podium as she thought of how the infinite monk's murder could have gone out.

"Well, it could have been many different scenarios. For example, the killer could have seceretly followed Krista and Mondatta into the cave then attacked, or hid behind a rock and so." She explained her hypothesis as she looked at everyone, then looking over at Krista to continue. "They could have stashed the knife box under your bed to frame you, but who look twords kitchen cutlery for weaponry?" Alice questioned, as she sighed and rested her head in her arms. It was suprising to herself that she was already feeling stressed.

“Right away, Marianne!” Daimyon responded to the herbalist in equal enthusiasm and quickly wrote down her deduction:
‘Blood was still wet—the two events occurred at the same time’
Meanwhile the others were also coming up with their own counterpoints against Davis' accusation. The poet listened intently to everyone and only spoke up to encourage the flow of the trial.
“Excellent questions, Mary!” he said, noting down the streamer's queries. He thought about adopting his FACTS/OBSERVATIONS/QUESTIONS style he had used a few times already, but decided to go with a freer flow of text this time. It better simulated the chaos that was actually going down!

Shaun and Caora both came up with their own very valid, and surprisingly coherent for the latter, observations, and so did Lucas who seemed to believe Krista's guilt. Daimyon, for himself, put off any and all judgement—that was the only way of retaining his hopeful outlook on the terrible situation, and it also allowed him to fulfil the role of the impartial scribe he had taken on himself. There was also the fact that he pieced together very little of what could have happened—that did not stop him from imagining scenarios that were usually way too fantastical to be realistic—, he only had one piece of evidence he could claim to have discovered.

One which no one had mentioned so far, so...

“Ahem, let me humbly interject!” he spoke up after the newest Infinite...Alice, yes, how could he not remember her name even after several days, finished. “Upon my examination into the cave, I have discovered that one of the numerous rock formations there had a clear cut in them! Unless someone was trying to re-enact a duel to the death—in which case their choice of opponent was rather dull—with the cold rock, we can assume that the cut was made at the time of the crime, and might indeed be evidencing a struggle!” He glanced down to his notebook for a moment to read the words ‘Murder weapon: kitchen knife?’. “...furthermore, unless the culprit and their supposed weapon were blessed with divine strength by the gods themselves, it is also very unlikely that this cut was made with a knife! No, it must have been...an axe, mighty enough to fell mammoth trees! Or...something of that magnitude...”

Max folded his arms and tried to speak clearly and discussive, “You brought an interesting point up Davis; nobody can say when Mondatta was killed, which means he could’ve died before or after Krista fell unconscious. But Caora is right, the knife hasn’t been used, considering it’s still brand new, so Krista didn’t use it at all; and let’s be honest, even if she wanted to, she wouldn’t be able to ‘shove’ Mondatta in any direction for more than a few inches. That robot suit is a mountain, not so easily pushed away.” He stopped for a second to give a smile towards Caora before continuing, “As much as I appreciate Caora’s theory, I think it’s unlikely that someone was waiting for them; even though the killer could have erased his footprints after entering, 3 footprints would have to be visible, 2 from Krista and Mondatta entering, and one from the killer leaving.”

After Lucas and Krista spoke up, Felix decided to do the same, “Lucas has a point, but you know what, if I was in a situation like hers, I would want something to defend myself with, but like Max and Caora said, she never used it. Besides, with her amnesia, I don’t think Krista is gonna remember anything anytime soon, so let’s focus on what we can remember.” He tried to sound as comforting as possible, keeping that smile going.

Max pointed towards Daimyon, who also contributed pleasantly to the overall theory, although Max had a different tool in mind, “Close Daimyon, but not quite there yet” Max quickly took his e-handbook in hand and showed the handle and picture of the dusty shelf, “I’m sure I’m not the only one to think that this looks like an iron file(style?), which was most likely used to scrape a dent into the stalagmite like the poet said. The question is; why?”

The infinite herbalist, only half connected to what everyone was saying, was scrolling through the Truth Bullets on her e-handbook. There must have been something in the evidence that could help. Something at all. Each piece was examined as the voices of Alice, Daimyon, Caora, even Shaun, Felix, Davis, Bliss, Max, Lucas, Krista and whoever else played behind her. She only caught bits and pieces.

"I believe I agree with Lucas' idea of the footprints disappearing after a scuffle. ...still, Mondatta's suit doesn't have a levitate feature, does it? Has anyone checked?" the herbalist thought out loud, half-chuckling hysterically to herself at the idea. Davis' hysteria was most definitely contagious. She had her head back in the game.

"Here are my feelings."

"Firstly, I agree with Mister Visser's theory of the missing object being an iron file. ...one way to create dust is to crush something with a mortar and pestle. Another is to slowly saw off tiny pieces. The tool here appears to have left behind a mark in dust. The surroundings are relatively clean. The dust around the tool's shape could be leftovers, but that isn't important."

She paused, her hands still flicking back and forth on the handbook. Whereas everyone else was focused on ideas, Marianne found it more in her interests to focus on the actual clues.
"Is the handle really from the file? ...why is it detached? Is there a possibility another weapon was used, whose head we still have yet to find? Aah...the knife is sharp too. But it says here that it stays sharp after cutting vegetables and...meat! The knife was used...then washed? No, that can't be right. Was it slid into something, with the file? Mondatta's suit, maybe...?"

"It would be funny," mused Marianne, "if Tekhartha Mondatta, the man himself, was killed outside of his suit, and then stashed back inside it to cast away suspicion. But of course, he couldn't enter and exit the suit at will. But there must have been a way..."

A dent in the stalagmite, a dent in the stalagmite...Why?

"Whoever the killer was would have to have spent an extensive amount of time planning this. The supplies most likely came from the Mono Shoppe." the herbalist crossed her arms. Her hands went to her lipgloss tube. Then to her hair. She grabbed fistfuls and balled her fists, trying to think of something, anything helpful at all. Nothing.
Just frustration.

"...fils-de-pute." she swore under her breath. "That...son of a bitch, the killer...!"
Her teal eyes glinted and focused in the direction of...someone very specific.
Bliss Buckly. Infinite Nanny.

"You." she purred, her eyes half-lidded and sultry, a malicious smile at her lips. "You're a pretty shitty nanny, if you don't mind me saying. Your job wasn't even that hard. All you had to do was stay with Mondatta and Krista."

"Why weren't you with them?" she was almost snarling now. "It's your fault that we have someone seriously injured, and even worse, someone dead! How does anyone even trust you with their children if you can't sufficiently care for two adults?!"

"Putain!" she swore, her fists pounding on the podium. "You're so incompetent...at least Mondatta was useful! I suspected you at first, but now even I doubt you were the murderer, because I'm sure if you had done it, mademoiselle, it would have been a job so half-assed, as you say, that we would have figured it out from just one look at the scene."

"Where were you?! You were supposed to be with them. Tell me, mon dieu...tell me right fucking now!" she demanded, slamming her fists onto the podium. The hairs on the back of her neck stood on edge.

Her voice was brought down low, dripping venom as she turned her nose in the opposite direction. She said it loud enough for it to reach Bliss' ears, and anyone between them, but not the other end of the circle.
"You're no use to us."
...

With a little gasp, she caught herself. The Infinite Herbalist gave the Infinite Nanny the most sugary-sweet smile she could manage. A cheery giggle punctuated her words: vicious and cutting in the most oxymoronic fashion. It was chilling to witness, to say the least.
"I wish you had been killed instead, Bliss Buckly."

Caora couldnt believe what he was hearing. He tried... He really tried to stop himself. Oh, who are we kidding? He wasnt holding back at all. He just absolutely flipped out, temporarily forgetting the trial.

"Hey, you big dumb meanie! Nanna was doing her bestest!" he squeled in that lyrical, girlish way of his. "You didnt help Mr Monk either! You shpuld, like, think about trying to find the guy who bonked him instead of being a dumb, smelly, stupid BULLY!"

The little crossdresser had turned bright red. How DARE she speak to Miss Buckley like that!? She was being super rude and mean and nasty for, like, no reason! Wasnt the game to find out who beat up Mr Monk, not to be the dumbest meanie!

All the blood rushing through him got his mind buzzing. And when his mind started buzzing, funny things started happening. All the others would see is him clutching the side of his head and whimpering.
"Shut up... Shut up, shut up, shut UP!" he repeated to himself...

Davis remained unmoved by all the voices in the court room. He just sat there with a smug look on his face, slowly shaking his head. That was until Max spoke up. Then Davis's smile instantly vanished. For a moment he looked surprised. Impressed even. But everyone kept talking. It wasn't until Marianne began raising up from her monologing to accusing Bliss that everyone started to quiet down. Each harsh accusatory word cut into bliss like she was being struck with an actual knife. She squirmed backwards, half leaning into Max's train to get away from the woman who was literally standing right next to her. By the time Marianne wished Bliss was dead, she was on the verge of tears. Rising above everyone was the sharp laugh of a certain bear.

“Oh, now isn't this splendid!” Killgood was still laughing while he tried to speak. “The despair in this room is so thick, so, so, so very savage!” He was starting to breath hard. “Oh, oh this just feels amazing! At this rate you'll all kill each other well before you run out of time.”

Davis balled his hand into a fist. Though with a few breaths, he was able to calm down. At this point, Caora was the only voice in the room. Quietly mumbling “shut up” over and over to himself.

“Bliss?” Davis words were soft and gentle. He laid his sword on the podium. None of his hands were on it.

Bliss, still rattled by Marianne's assault, was unable to look in the man's direction. “Yes?”

“You're going to be okay.”

She turned her head. Because of the angle, it was difficult to look at Davis without also looking at Marianne. So she held her hand up in front of one of her eyes “Why are you telling me this?”

“Because I know you didn't do it.” He folded his arms. “Everyone in here is convinced Krista didn't do it, I know you didn't do it.” He made eye contact with her. “If I yell at this unwholesome cunt, it's going to be loud. And that's going to upset you further.” He shot bliss a friendly smile. “This is a fight you need to win yourself.”

“Fight?”

Davis closed his eyes and cast his hand out into the center of the court. “Take a deep breath, think, and explain to Marianne why she's wrong.” And bliss did just that, or at least she appeared to. She closed her eyes and took a few breaths. It didn't take her more than a few seconds of controlled breathing to regain her composure. She still had dried tears on her cheeks, but her eyes. They were on fire.

“Wow...” Bliss looked directly into Marianne's eyes. The nanny was pulling anxiously at her gloves. “So your logic really boils down to, I wasn't there, so I must of killed him. Right?” She nodded. “I'm just curious. You seem to know a lot about the human body and how it works. Even knowing how long it takes for blood to dry at room temperature. But do you know what else humans need?” Bliss groaned. “We need sleep. Are we all suppose to sleep at the same time? Doesn't that kind of defeat the point of protecting Krita AT ALL TIMES!?” Bliss grit her teeth. “I know it isn't in that stupid E-handbook that you can't peel your eyes away from, but do you remember what I said when I volunteered to watch Krista with Mondatta?”

Bliss turned to face Mondatta and Krista. “We should sleep in shifts. No two people should rest at the same time. It's just... safer for everyone that way.”

“Krista slept at night, while Mondatta and I stayed up to mke sure no one broke into her room during the night of carnage. Then Mondatta slept mornings, and I slept evenings. Of course it takes a bit to adjust to a schedule like that, so I happened to go to the break room to have a talk with Alice. If I eat too much it helps me sleep.” Bliss was furious. She was leaning towards Marianne's booth now. “So you just accused someone who's tired, sluggish, and sleepy, who was doing EXACTLY what they were suppose to be doing, of being a shit, incompetent nanny.” Bliss leaned closer still. “At least I spent the last few days trying to help.” The nanny leaned back and folded her arms. “Maybe you should look at all the facts instead of the ones that appear on that device.”

“Hahahaha!” Davis waved his sword in the air to get everyone's attention. “Okay Bliss, that's enough I think.” Davis shook his head. “Alright, before I go on, I'd just like to address a few things.” Davis looked over at Shaun. “You're asking me to include a handle in my theory. I'm just going to ask you why you think it's important.” Davis shrugged. “It being here doesn't really invalidate anything I said. Nothing in my theory can be undone just by the presence of a handle. Maybe think things through before trying to white knight the suspect? Kids these days...” Davis looked at Caora. “I seem to recall Krista and Cyrus exploring this cave some time ago. I wouldn't expect a brat like yourself to remember such a minute detail, you are pretend investigators after all. But with your theory, there should be three sets of foot prints. One for Mondatta, one for Krista, and one for the killer. Only there's two different sets. If a scuffle wiped them out, then why are there two sets? Did the killer only wipe away Mondatta's footprints? That makes no sense.” Davis turned to face Marianne. “As much as I'd like to go of on you for- YOU CUNT!” Davis pointed his sword at Marianne. “YOU INNER MONOLOGING, FRENCH CUNT! WHAT DOES PASTE HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING? YOU THINK WITH A ONE HOUR TIME LIMIT, SOMEONE'S GOING TO MIX UP MORTAR PASTE FOR A CRIME? YOU SMELL LIKE A PEICE OF CHEESE THAT WAS ON THE FLOOR OF A BROTHEL FOR A WEEK TOO LONG, AND THEN SLAPPED IN SOME HOBO'S SANDWICH! MAYBE NEXT TIME YOU COULD ACTUALLY GIVE POOR BLISS A BREAK INSTEAD OF TRYING TO FILL YOURSELF WITH EVERY CUT OF MEAT THAT PASSES YOU A GLANCE!”

“Eeep!” Even Bliss was a little taken back by Davis's outburst.

“Now...” Davis cast out his hands. “I'd like to gently remind everyone that we are on a time limit. We need some focus. If you think my theory is wrong, prove it. Present some evidence that contradicts what I said. But I gave all of you a chance to say something before I gave my little theory. Let's try to be a bit more focused in the future.” Perfection turned to Max. “You... actually made some good points.” Davis folded his arms like he hadn't just called a woman that word. Twice. “Yes, the knife would have been quite dull if it was used. And one might think that the wrapper being in Krista's room must clear her since it obviously wasn't the weapon. But isn't it also possible for Krista to plant such evidence there herself?” Davis shrugged. “Certainly from a logic standpoint, planting something that wasn't the actual murder weapon in your room would be a great way to get people to stop looking at you.” Davis shook his head. “But actually, that was Bliss. I never actually said I thought it was the knife.” Davis held up the tool handle. “I think it's possible this is what Krista used to actually fight Mondatta with, and I believe that you are also right that it is a file. It could certainly explain the scratches on his armor.” Davis turned it over in his hand. “The file itself must have broken on his armor.” Davis's eyes flicked up to Krista. “What do you think about that? Ma'am?”

Krista grew quiet after Max offered his theory. It... reminded her of something. She closed her eyes, and even pressed her hands over her ears in a childish attempt to get some quiet as she forced herself to chase that feeling. Like hell was she letting people pin the death of Mondatta on her and get everyone - including her killed. Lucas watched her wearily from across the room, also keeping silent. How was he supposed to get in between Bliss and Marianne any more than he already was? There was no way he was going to get involved.

"W-wait!" Krista hit her hand against the podium, making sure people could hear her this time. "I remember what I saw! It's... probably not much but..." She then rubbed her aching fist, directing her words at Davis specifically. "When I arrived at the caves I saw somebody kneeling by the stalagmite. It was dark so I couldn't figure out who it was... obviously, now I know it was the killer but... they were doing something to it which is why I know Max is right! I didn't have much time to look around before the killer caught me and knocked me unconscious." She took a moment to pause, breathing heavily. "I didn't kill Mondatta... I didn't intend to get him killed either... I'm sorry I'm not much help but... I swear to you I didn't do it..." She closed her eyes, stopping herself from crying from the stress of everything.

After a moment of silence, Lucas asked, "Is that all you remember?"

Krista nodded. "I swear to you this isn't some desperate ploy to prove my innocence, I really do remember seeing somebody by the stalagmite. That file you were talking about—" she then looked at Max, "—it must've been what the handle was for. Why else would someone kneel beside that damned thing?"

Only a pretend investigator..?

Yeah... that made sense... who was he to think he could help anyone..? He was useless... a dumb, stupid brat who thought he knew better than everyone else... a biological waste... everyone would be better without him...

The boy trembled. His face darkened. His body sagged, like the very act of keeping himself standing was an effort. He wasnt even holding on to Fang...

"Heh... you... Big... dumb... STUPID MORON OF A NUTMEG!" The fury in his voice was unprecedented from someone so small! "If it was only Krista and Mr Monk, then where are Mr Monk's footprints, huh? Mr Monk's footprints arent there, but the other two are! Why would someone want to wipe away his footprints when they knew they couldnt get him out? The only reason that someone would wipe the footprints away... was if they didnt want anyone to know they had gone in there in the first place!"

The fire returned to the boy and he stood up straight. He had it! This was the right track! "The only reason someone would wipe away footprints is to stop someone knowing they went in, right? And Krista isnt a dummy like you, Mr Conquest! Mr Monk's body was still there, but so were her footieprints! Why wipe Mr Monk's away when she knew that he was gonna be there anyway, and not wipe her own? That's waaaay too dumb! Since Mr Monk couldnt be moved... the only person who would have wiped Mr Monk's footprints away was Mr Monk himself!"

He gasped at his own theory. Was he really saying what he thought he was saying
"If his footieprints are wiped away, but he is still there, then he would be found anyway! The only reason to wipe bootieprints away would be to look like you wasnt there! So...if Mr Monk went in, wiped his prints and went out, wiping his prints again, then no one would ever know he went in there! Not only that, but by wiping his prints in going in, he made it look like no one was in the cave, and luring someone in cause they think the cave is empty, like a fish! Mr Monk is the only person who would have a reason to get rid of his own footprints and not someone else's!"

"Krissy, the one who attacked you was none other than Mr Monk himself! If Mr Monk attacked Krissy, someone might have heard and ran in. If they saw Krissy knocked out, they might have tried to save her... and killed Mr Monk! That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Unless you have some reason why Mr Monk's footprints werent there, Mr Conquest?"

Alice had lifted her head up to watch Marianne as she made a certifiable yet psycotic claim that Bliss killed Mondatta. The sight of the herbalist cussing the poor nanny out was terrifying to watch, mad as a hatter she was. For Alice though, the thought of having to go through life like this was like a twisted version of Wonderland.

And they were all mad there, as the saying goes.

As Davis stood up for the nanny against Marianne, she looked at the amused Monokuma in curiosity before leaning over her podium to get Bliss' attention, cause after that Alice was worried for the poor girl.

"Hey? Are you alright, Ms. Bliss?" She asked the infinite nanny, a look of concern on her face. At that rate, she would need to get some migrane medicine, or just a simple nap, either one would have sufficed. Alice layed her head back down, taking deep breaths to keep her mind steady.

She thought hard on who or what the evidence would link to, but nothing seemed to click for her. The sudden outburst from the infinite conquest didnt help her, nor did her headache, Marianne, or Dr. Killgood.

Shaun wasn't happy at the fact Davis had decided to be a dick in his rebuttal. He played the part of an asshole quite well, but to think it could be his actual personality? It was a frighten prospect for any that got to know him.

But, he made an interesting point. Who said the knife and file had to be involved in the crime? It could easily have been...

"Y-you might be right, D-Davis..." he spoke, cautiously, unsure of how to bets broach the subject, "B-but there are two th-things you haven't established..."

He gave a smile across the Krista, hoping to at least look somewhat smart in and cool in his rebuttal.
"First: What was her motive? I-if she just w-wanted to phone call, there were surely e-easier target on her w-watch schedule?" Shaun took an unsteady breath, anticipating the hellfire the deranged man might bring upon him, "And second: The crime scene was made to look like that deliberately; someone caused chaos to draw attention, since there are too many clues that don't fit. If that was Kr-Krista's doing... Wh-why? I-if she killed M-Mondatta, e-even in s-self defence, wouldn't she w-want to remove a-as many clues as p-possible..?

As soon as he was finished, he let out a long, shaky breath and braced for the up and coming f-bombs.

”Unfortunately, you are mistaken!”

Cyrus exclaimed in a most calm manner. His finger pointed at Shaun. ”Both of your points make no sense. Everyone could’ve picked a simpler victim than Mondatta. And how could you say that the crime scene has clues that don’t fit?” He paused for a second, looking significantly more angry. ”I don’t know how the simple fact could escape you THAT WE DON’T KNOW HOW THE SOD WAS MURDERED, YOU ABSOLUTE SHIT.”

With Krista’s comments in mind, he switched his attention to Davis. There were cracks in his glasses, likely from the tiny outburst he just had, but he looked calm now. ”You have a surprisingly solid reasoning. I underestimated you, Davis. But I don’t think your argumentation is perfect either.”

”You say that Krista might’ve fought Mondatta with a weapon we presume to be an iron file. I will not address the situation where Krista could prevail against a giant, martial artist. Instead, I want to focus on another piece of evidence. He opened his e-handbook and showed the stalagmite. ”This cut is too clean to have been made in a scuffle. An attack with force behind it would’ve also likely shattered the stalagmite. It is likely this wedge cut was deliberately made, as Krista says.”

Noel intervened for a second. ”But she could still have made that cut herself as a red herring?”

He grinned. ”Yes, obviously. That is something that is truly possible. HOWEVER, it is far too soon to call anything a red herring without knowing what truly killed the Monk, and how. I propose we drop the “who?” for now and focus on the “how?”. I think that will bring us much closer to solving this case than our current line of reasoning.”

He looked at Monokuma ”Why else do you think that bear bastard didn’t put it in the report?”

Noel wondered. ”Could it be possible that the murderer somehow disabled the life-supporting functions of his suit? That’s one way to kill him without breaching it. I'm just not sure if the wedge cut was needed for that...”

Cyrus looked towards Calvin "You're good with metal. Can you tell us anything about the metal that might be useful?"

BrokenPromise With Rightious Hands

Dr. Killgood lowered his head. “I-i'm sorry bishi-poo.” He placed his hands behind his back. “I typically write very detailed reports, but it just didn't seem fair to give you guys anything that a real autopsy report wouldn't reveal. You'll forgive me in time, right?”

Calvin shook his head. “Without melting it down? No way. I can't say for sure what it was made of.” Calvin sighed. “I really should have been there guys, I'm sorry.” He dug his fingers into the podium. “I keep screwing up...”

Bliss was shivering. Alice's voice made her jump a little. "I-I'm fine, Alice. Thanks for asking." She smiled across the court. "I'll make everyone something to eat once we're done here, you want to help?"

Davis Growled at Caora. he was not showing as much patience as he did last time. "So let me get this straight." He said through clinched teeth. "You think Mondatta wiped up his foot prints because he was going to kill Krista? Our one beacon of hope in this shit hole!?" He thrust his sword towards the trap. "YOU MISERABLE CUNT!" His words dripped with venom. "Even if I could believe that load of horse shit, why the FUCK are ALL OF THEM GONE!?" Davis swung the sword into his podium so hard it shot splinters across the court. "Or are you saying Mondatta somehow rammed Krista's head into a wall without actually walking across the cave!? Or perhaps through magic maybe he WIPED UP HIS OWN FOOT PRINTS AFTER HE DIED!? It's because there are no footprints that it LOOKS LIKE THAT BITCH DID IT! AND WHY DID YOU RAID YOUR MOTHER'S MEDICINE CABINET? FEMALE HORMONES DO NOT BELONG IN A BOY'S BODY, YOU INBRED PIECE OF SHIT! YOU SHOULD HAVE TAKEN TO EATING PROTEIN SUPPLEMENTS TO GET YOURSELF A TALENT WORTH BRAGGING ABOUT! HOW IS LOOKING LIKE A WOMAN EVEN A REAL TALENT!?"

"Davis!" Bliss cried. "He's just a kid! Don't scream at him like that!"

Perfection, apparently much more calm now, held his sword out in front of himself. "We are waging war on a murderer. Success means conquest, and failure means carnage." Davis sheathed his sword. "If the boy wants to play a man's game, he also has to endear a man's consequences." The infinite conquest turned to look at Cyrus. "I do find the stalagmite interesting, especially since Krista remembers seeing someone next to it. It's definitely worth taking a closer look at."

Aleecia had been holding her hands over her ears to block out all the yelling. “Wait.” She turned to “look” at Davis. “You're going to consider the possibility that Krista didn't do it?”

“I never said I thought she did it, only that most of the evidence suggested she did.” Davis folded his arms. “If what Krista says is true, than it's very possible that our killer's plan didn't work as expected. Which means explaining why the stalagmite was notched like that isn't a matter of figuring out WHY it was done, but WHAT it was suppose to do. So let's start considering that possibility and see if it gets you anywhere.”

“Because the killer got interrupted...” Aleecia looked at her E-handbook. “I'm sorry, I'm legally blind, and that roller coaster ride didn't help.” She looked up. “Can someone describe how it looks to me? The stalagmite and the cut.”

Isaiah was the one to speak up. “It's quite a bit taller than a person. About a foot or so wide. Daimyon said he thought it looked like an ax made the notch. Something that could fell trees?”

The blind woman placed a finger on her chin. “So like a lumberjack's wedge? Hmmm...”

Caora wasnt quite as easy to upset this time. "Well, duh! Cause he gpt ambushed himself! He got ambushed before he could ambush! Like, a double ambush! Counter ambush! A big, green leafy ambush! That would -"

Wait a sec. There was that word again. The one the doctors used after Mama and Papa got in trouble. The one the nurse said was just between him and the Hospital.
"HOW DO YOU KNOW ABOUT MAMA AND PAPA!?" cried the boy, flying into an incensed rage. "THE NURSE SAID THAT WAS PRIVATE! HOW THE HECK DO YOU KNOW!? YOU A SIDEKICK OR SOMETHING!? WHO TOLD YOU I WAS IN BREAD!?"

~ Wedge in the Door~

Shaun shrunk back at Cyrus's sudden, violent outburst. But he was right. He wasn't thinking properly. He was submitting baseless, redundant questions and information to the court that had no relevance at that point in the discussion. They needed to establish what killed him, and how.

"S-sorry... I'll be qu-quiet..." he whispered, letting the others continue their discussion.

When it came back around to Davis, his questioning caught his ear. The man, as insane as he was, had a point. What was the point on the cut in the stalagmite? It had, as far as Shaun could tell, no obvious relation to the case. It was a clue that made no sense.

But there was nothing that didn't make sense. Everything had a place, and everything had relevance. He had been wrong to say that chaos had been created by placing items that didn't correlate to anything but as red herrings.
"U-um..." he stuttered, his confidence having taken a hit from Cyrus, "I-is it possible... th-that the killer r-removed the wedge from th-the stalagmite..? I-I don't think it m-makes sense for them to h-have just f-filed a hole I-into it... a-and s-since it crumbles, i-it'd be easy to g-get rid of, t-too..."

"Ok good..." Alice replied back to Bliss, relieved that she was still holding up. "and I dont have much expirience in cooking, but sure, Ill help." she lightly smiled back at the nanny before flinching at Davis' second outburst, that time targeted at Caora. The trap had been enraged at the conquest knowing about his mother and father and yelled back at him, but it was hard to understand in Alice's case.

"Look, let's all calm down for even just a moment. If everyone keeps arguing, we're never gonna get through this. Not alive atleast." Alice told the rest of the court, mostly at the one who had yelled at one other. She took note of what Shaun said about the killer cutting a wedge out of the stalagmite, trying to think of how it would have been used.

"Would the wedge have been used to harm one of them..? No, that cant be right..Krista would have had her skull split in two.." She thought to herself. "I don't know 'bout Mondatta though...his corpse seemed clean, so would the force from being hit by it mess up something inside the suit...?"

Alice grabbed her E-handbook out of her jacket pocket and looked through the evidence to find something off about atleast a single clue.

Infuriated as he was over the inbred comment, Caora didnt see that Davis had just shot down his own theory. It took a little negotiation from His Fangesty to point out just how that theory couldnt hold water.

Caoara slammed his hands down on the podium. A heroic wind blustered in out of nowhere, raising his skirt and blowing his hair. With righteous fury, he pointed at Davis and cried out "I spy with my little eye... A GREAT, FAT, STINKING LIE!"

Cue the music!

"You just PROVEDED that Krissie couldnt have done it! She was bonked out! If she had done it, how did she clear up the footprints when she couldnt move? There be no footprints, so unless Mr Monk somehow hurt Krissie AFTER she beat him and cleaned up his footprints, then she couldnt have been the one to clear them up! And the only other option is..."

He slammed both hands on the podium. "There must have been a third person in tge cave at the time of the crime! Someone to clean up footprints or knock out Krissie! Which means that Krissie is INNOCENT!"

"So if somebody once told me the world was gonna roll me has been in the cave just to knock out Krissy or protect Mr Monk... Why havent they said anything? Whoever it was doesnt want us knowing they were there! Either Krissy was bonked out BEFORE Mr Monk was killdied, and couldnt have cleaned up the boot prints, or she was bonked out AFTER he was killdied, which means someone else, like, must have bonked her and isnt saying! So, like, Krissy TOTALLY couldnt have done it!

Stick that in your pipe and smoke it, "Perfection"
