In the high mountain ranges surrounding one of the humans royal strongholds there had been whispers and rumors that a dragon had taken to hunting the stronghold of its citizens, and although Oradi despised humans - it was part of his (and his swarms) job to hunt down the dragons that tried to overthrow the order.

As he was flying over the normal hunting spots of the Dragons that lived in this region, his four wings beating quickly and silently as his eyes moved in on the movement of wings beating as the Ax he carried began to glow. This was it - the target he was tracking.

He adjusted his flight path and sped forwards, this was not unnoticed by the dragon which turned its head, its beady little eyes closing as to focus on the fast moving target and let loose a stream of fire. Oradi dropped to avoid the stream of orangey flames spouting forth from the beasts nostrils. Not missing a beat the Swarmer puts on a burst of speed to be hovering behind the beasts head and with one clean swipe of the huge ax and the dragons neck is more akin to a fountain, throwing spurts of orange blood from the top of its neck, the flames dying down and the head just falling towards the earth, even from up in the air Oradi could hear the thud as the head smashed into the ground.

Another one dead - time to get the bounty

Flying towards the strong hold's bounty collection point he lands, smearing a patch of wall with some of the dragons still wet blood from his hands - for a moment or two; nothing happens but then the wall glows and begins to melt, accepting the dragons blood as a symbol that the beast it belonged too is dead and revealing the stash of treasure and gems promised to the one to slay the dragon. among the piles of gems there was a unique item, granite in colour with a mark the Swarmer had never seen before. Being the cautious type he pulled out his shades and trench coat from a bag he always carried with him before sifting through some of the other gems, coins and loot, putting some of the gold and gems into the bag before he called for a post bird to take the rest back to his village. After taking care of that Oradi turns his attention to the strange granite like gem and picks it up, as soon as flesh meets granite a warm yellow light engulfs him....

Milliseconds later the light is gone, he is standing near a water fountain, no idea where he is, what happened - and more worryingly, who he is...

"Alright, let me just grab that for you." He took the money from Jack. He took the money to the safe, where he stored all the important things for the winery; money, recipes, orders, everything. He went down to the cellar and returned moments later with a barrel resting on his shoulder. He put the barrel down in front of Jack. "Thank you for shopping with us, if you need anything else, do not be afraid to ask."

Vince was navigating through the bustling market of Alvaria, in search of lunch. He made his way down the street at a steady pace, weaving in and out of the people.

His senses were roused by one thing in particular: the smell of freshly baked loaves from the bakery, just down the street. Vince stood still, letting the divine smell permeate through him.

He walked over to alley next to the bakery, the smell becoming more intense, and jumped over the rusty gate with the agility of a leopard. Vince approached the bakery’s back door and pressed his ear against it, listening for activity within the shop. “Ah, nothing,” he whispered.

As he opened the door, he heard a voice — a young voice — from another room. “That must be Alek Tanner, the ‘kid’ who runs the bakery,” Vince told himself. Hurrying himself, he slunk over to the glowing oven and took some bread from the cooling tray above it. As he was cramming the loaves into his satchel, he spotted a stack of gold pieces on the shelf; he grabbed them, too.

After cleaning herself up, Venelope walked back out into the front of the store. Her little sister was standing in the middle of the small room, and she wasn't even ready to greet the day. The little girl was still in her PJ's, and her hair was an absolute mess.

"Morning" Tiffany said through a deep yawn. She rubbed the sleep out of her eyes with her overly long sleeves. The other hand was waving back and fourth behind her to magically summon her clothes: a light green summer dress, a pair of matching shoes, and her favorite witch hat. Venelope looked at her sister with a hard stare.

"Tiffy, I know we don't get a lot of business, but you should have been up an hour ago". Venelope watched in envy as the young witch used her magic to float a brush over to fix her mess of hair. Tiffany had always been more magically gifted than her, and when she voiced her complaints with mom, she just said her magic would come eventually.

"Sis, I want to run the shop today!" The little witch interupted her train of thought.

"W-Don't change the subject on me, missy! You need to learn proper work etiquette while you're still young so that it will stick with you". Of course at this point Tiff completely tuned her out. The younger sibling was now dressed up and properly groomed.

"Now sis, you've been working youself to the bone lately. I just want to give you a break from all this so you can enjoy a nice day off" Tiffany ran up to her sister and lept onto her legs to hug her. "I can look after the shop while you're gone. Pumpkin can help too. Won't you pleeeease take the day off?" She looked up at Venelope and gave her a puppy dog pout.

The elder sister could feel her heart ache. She hated it when she did this. One of these days she would stand up for herself and tell Tiffy no...but...today was not that day. Her glasses slipped down a little "W-Well...I suppose there'd be no harm in taking some time off from work. But if something happens, tell me immediately" she told her sister while pushing her glasses up. "Okay?"

"Yay!" Tiffy cheered as she ran off to brush her teeth.
Venelope was putting a few paint brushes and paint tubes inside a small leather brown bag with stretchy yellow arms. Then, she pulled out a large white canvas and pushed it into the bag as well, the item morphing into a smaller shape until it was completely in the bag. After she did the same with an easel, the bag closed itsel and jumped noted her back. It's yellow appendages wrapped around her arms and clung to her like a backpack. "Okay Tiffy, I'm off! Keep a good eye on the shop. And please come get me if something bad happens!" After a quick goodbye, she left the store and walked through the marketplace. She hasn't painted in a while, so this would be exciting.

Jack took the barrel from the man and lifted it upon his right shoulder. He felt glad at having stopped at his house to drop off his rifle, as he knew he couldn't cary both it and the wine. He walked outside, and proceeded to heft the heavy container to his home. After a good fifteen minutes of walking, he reached his home on the outskirts of the town. It had been his old mentor's ((the previous hunter)) before he had inherited it. It was a small home, made of wood with only one level. The house wasn't too big, only a main area, and a bedroom. The place was messy, junk piled up everywhere, and the yard filled with all sorts of tools and parts. Inside the bedroom, the bed was only a few sheets atop a cheap mattress, with clothes scattered about. The kitchen had pots and pans that had probably been set there and never moved for over ten years. Several windows by the kitchen were cracked and without glass, victims of the local kids dares and passing theifs. Although there wasn't much to steal, most of the stuff wasnt worth anything.

Jack walked in, set the wine down near the kitchen, and entered the bedroom. He got on a new pair of clothes; a pair of jeans, a long-sleeved shirt, and a thick winter coat. These clothes weren't any cleaner than the ones he was wearing though, he merely did it out of habit. He walked outside, to his work shed, which probably contained the only things of value on his property. It was small, about as big as a bathroom in a normal house and made of wood with no windows.. He unlocked the door and entered, looking around for his rifle. It sat where he last put it, on the work bench. He made sure to clean it, removing any dirt from the barrel before returning it to the gun closet below the bench. As he put it in, he noticed he was put of bullets, he made a note to go into town to resupply later. With his gun stowed, he locked the door to the shed and exited his property. He wanted to check out the town to see what he had missed the past months.

Bri smiled and went down to the cellar, just as Jack walked in. When Bri entered the cellar, she noticed the lights hadn't been turned on. "That's odd. How was Adrian able to see down here?" she said, before turning on the lights. "Oh! There they are." Bri knelt down next to the wine and boxes, putting each bottle of wine in the individual boxes, and then she stopped. There were 2 bottles of wine that had named labels, but they weren't supposed to go in any of the boxes. "Boss! Boss, there are a few bottles here that I need help with!" Bri called, and she walked up the stairs to the lobby. Holding the bottles in plain sight, she looked confused. "Where do these go?"

Jack had just left when Bri came hurrying up the stairs. "What's that?" Adrian asked, "Oh some of the bottles don't match the lables? Can I see them for a moment?" He took the bottles from Bri and examined the lables. "Ah that makes sense, these are two of my 'special blends'. I don't know how they got mixed up with the other bottles but thank you Bri for correcting my mistake." By 'special blend' Adrian meant wine spiced with blood. He enjoyed the taste of blood on its own but mixed with wine gave it a whole new wonderful flavor. He had tried it once out of curiousity and now blood spiced wine was the number one way he got his blood. "I'll just take these back to where they belong." he left and put the bottles in his special space for all the blood spiced wine and then returned to the lobby where Bri was still waiting. "Let's go finish packing the boxes so they are ready when the shipment people come to get them."

Another quiet day at the bakery. Alek finished serving his second customer of the day and, when in the back of the store, quickly ate a warm cinnamon bun and returned to the front counter, waiting to see if a third customer would enter. He was actually glad that he didn't get too many customers. He was as timid as a rat in a rat and he could also turn into one, which he often thought suited him quite nicely. He really didn't like being around people but, as the owner of the only bakery in town, interaction was unavoidable. He was just beginning to think about having another bun when he heard a sound in the back room. His heart sank. It wasn't the thought of someone stealing his baked goods that scared him, but the thought that he would have to talk to them or get them out of the shop. He reluctantly walked towards the room in which he heard the noise. His heart was beating fast by the time he got to the door. He slowly opened it to see a short, pale man with dark hair. Alek had never seen this man before, which was odd because he tried to know everyone in town, even if he never talked to them, so he knew who to be wary of. He did not like this. "H-Hello? Are you stealing? Please leave before I have to call the authorities." He stuttered, trying to sound like he wasn't nervous (and failing).

Martyn bought the rolls of cloth he needed and put them in a sack, which he slung over his shoulder. He then headed towards the magik shop. When he had first been hired by Sage, he had suggested that they mix some of the potions that could be bought there into the cloth to make it better. Fireproofing Potion was an obvious one, Elasticizing Potion was to keep it from tearing as easily, and they used Anti-Absorbtion Potion to keep staining to a minimum. Sure, some people might leave those things out so the people would have to buy from the store more often, but Sage was a very honest man, and Martyn was doing his best to also be honest.
He opened the door and walked up to the desk, where Vanelope usually was to sell the potions, but she wasn't there. Instead, a girl with red hair and looked a little younger than Martyn himself was there.
"May I speak to Ms. Vanelope, please?" He asked politely.

A moment or two passed before the stranger began to take note of his location, he was struggling to describe it - having not been anywhere else, with a shake of his head and shrug of the arms his thoughts turned to something else.... food. as he looked around he caught a glimpse of something in his peripheral vision - and looked down to pay it more attention and he saw he was carrying a huge ax in one hand.

I guess whoever or what ever I am it would appear I have strength - lots of it.

Not knowing what to do with it he just carried the large weapon in his hand and began to wonder away from where he was, sniffing at the air he picked out a few scents which interested him and before long his feet were carrying him on wards somewhere, only to arrive a few moments later at a shop which had food in the window, cakes and other assorted things, with his stomach rumbling he made his way to the door and entered the shop.

- have to call the authorities."

he stepped forwards, bring his free hand down on the counter:

"Whats going on?"

It's been about fifteen minutes since her older sister left, and she was already bored out of her skull. Venelope wasn't kidding when she said they don't see a lot of customers. The silence began to grow in presence as it amplified the sound of the clock ticking in the other room. Tiffany fidgeted in her seat with anxiously. Something. Anything. She just wanted something to break the silence.

Then, the bell on the door jingled...a customer! Tiff immediately sat up straight. It was a boy, maybe a few years older than herself, with messy brown hair. He says that he's looking for Venelope. Okay. This is it. My big chance to prove to sis that I have what it takes to run the shop she thought to herself. "I'm sorry, but she stepped out for today. That is why I'M taking her place~" she chirped to him and clapped her hands together. "How can I help you?"

"Oh, well in that case, I would like a potion of fireproofing, an Elasticizing potion, and an Anti-Absorption potion," replied Martyn without questioning the fact that a preteen was taking care of a potion store. She was probably a sibling or cousin of Venelope, and maybe quite trustworthy. Besides, he took care of the tailor shop all the time, and he probably wasn't that much older than she was.

Lets see here...those three potions are kept in the storage room. She knew exactly where to find them too. "Okay, so fire proofing, elasticizing, and absorption proofing. Wait right here. I just have to go get them". She stated as she ran off into the back room.

This part of the shop is closed off from the public. With as many expensive potions they sell, they keep them here while putting the cheaper potions on display. Eventually, Tiffany stood in from to of a fifteen foot tall mahogany bookcase with shelves upon shelves of labelled and sealed potions. Lucky for her, the potions she needed were on the lower shelves where she could reach. So as she began to gather the three potions, the house cat was toying with one of the potions at the very top. It's claw sunk into the cork and pulled it out with a pop. When it realized there was liquid inside, it jerked away, letting the contents spill out over the side. Tiff heard the sound and curiously looked up only to recieve a face full of liquid. "AHH!!" the startled girl shrieked as she backed up and rammed into the book see behind her. Several dozen bottles toppled over and shattered on the ground, coating the poor girl with several different potions. "Oh no..."

A moment of two after the sound of breaking glass rung through the house, Tiffany stepped back out into the front with the three potions...except her head was glowing a blindingly bright pink, and she seemed even shorter than before. Deer antlers were sprouting from her head, her hair reached down to the floor, feathers were growing from her arms, and it seemed like she was getting ready to float away. She did her best to keep herself anchored. When she opened her mouth, bubbles started to come out. "One fire proofing potion, one elasticizing potion, and one absorption proofing potion" she said in a very deep man's voice. "That will be thirty gold pieces. Would you like a Magic Pop for just two gold pieces more?" The little witch winced as she saw some of the bubbles float into the boy's face.

Martyn waited patiently until he heard glass breaking in the back room. He was about to go and help when the girl came back quite a bit different from when she left. She gave him the potions and named the price, spitting bubbles everywhere. Martyn dodged most of them, but a couple popped on his face. He wiped it with his sleeve and gave her the thirty coins.
"Next time I come, mind being a little more careful?" Martyn asked, winking to show he wasn't angry.

Alek looked behind him to see a man with scars across his face and an unrealistically large axe in his hand. Two menacing people in the room with him. Alek did not like this situation at all. Not only that but he did not know either of them. At least maybe the one with the axe is trying to help by the looks of it. "Uhhh... This man is trying to steal my food and I do not want him to." Alek said, unable to think of anything to say apart from the obvious. He stood there awkwardly not looking at either of them and instead looking at the ground. He wished he could just turn into a rat and hide beneath the floor boards until they had both gone away but he can't run away any more. This time he has to solve the problem himself.

Most of the rooms at the Inn were not in use, but that didn't stop Amelie from cleaning them daily; or at least everyday she had enough energy to get out of bed. She went from door to door, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and scrubing each room until it was spotless. The only thing she did differenet between used and unused rooms was change the bed sheets of the used rooms.
"Where are you going with those sheets?" Amelie heard her brother ask as she walked down the stairs leading from the hallway to the Inn lobby.
"Um... To the washer? They are the used bedsheets, they need washed."
"How heavy are those? It looks like way too many for you to be carrying." Amelie knew that was coming. Everytime Amelie tried to do her job, Olivier started going on about how she shouldn't push herself. She knew he was only like that because he cared about her and didn't want to lose her to the same illness that took their parents, but Amelie didn't want to live the remainder of her life in her room or being babied. She wanted to live life to its full potiental.
"It's not that many, only about four sets."
"Amelie, just please don't push yourself..." "I won't." Amelie turned to head downstairs to the basement when he brother called out to her.
"When you are finished putting those clothes in the washer, I want you to change into normal clothes and go outside for a few hours. It is a really nice day and some fresh air will help your health."
"Alright." Amelie sighed. Olivier was right, it would be good for her to get some fresh air and she had already finished most of her work. Only other thing she had to do was put on new bedsheets and finish washing the laundry but she had no doubt that Olivier would do that once she left.
Amelie finished up putting the sheets in the washer and ran up to her room to change back into normal clothes. Once outside she took in the nice weather. Although it was summer, it wasn't too hot and the breeze and sun felt nice againist her skin.

Nicholas sighed as he walked around the market trying to find a good spot to post up for a while not sure if he even felt like entertaining today, he had enough money for a couple days so he sat under a tree at the edge of the market sitting playing with his cards observing everything tired, and unsure what he felt like doing

At the mention of a thief on the premises Oradi jumped and slid over the counter, his trench coat flailing in the wind stream, revealing the tips of his lower wings before landing surprisingly lightly next to the nervous looking guy behind the counter - the shop keep from what Oradi could make out.

"Wait here, I'll settle this shop keep."

With that he moved past the nervous shop keep, bring his axe to carry in both hands - almost like a fighting stance ready to do battle. it was a dark room, but even with his shades on he could see fairly well. He paused and looked around poised for action yet not doing anything just yet.

"Come out! he called into the store room - wondering if the commotion of his entering had actually caused said thief to run away.

Vince was crouched behind a yeast barrel, wondering what to do next. He'd slid behind it after accidentally dropping one of the gold pieces, but he'd been spotted by the 'kid' regardless. In truth, Vince felt angry at himself. To get caught is one thing, but to get caught stealing, what, some bread and a handful of gold pieces, and by a kid… For a man who held himself at such high esteem, that was simply pathetic.

Rotating his head like an owl, Vince scanned the area, looking for something, anything, that could help him escape. But there was nothing. He had quite literally trapped himself in a corner.

A burly voice shouted "Come out!" and it rung in Vince's ears. "Who was it?" he wondered. The kid's father? A guard, here to capture him and throw him in jail?

"Special blend?" Bri didn't know about this stuff. "Is this what you do in the basement all day?" she frowned. "Anyway, if it's special, and you made it, can I try it?" Bri's frown dissipated into a smile. "it's fine if you don't want me to try, because I brought some juice..." Bri opened the door back to the cellar, to go put back some wine.
