@KhoI mean, when you reach the deity level of power, there's no point in lying. Thus, an oath from such a being is that much more believable, since if they planned to break the oath, they needn't have made it in the first place. They could just bash your head in and be done with it.

You mention Amul'Sharar, I noticed that this concept of 'swearing by Amul'Sharar' has come up a few times. Ull'Yang got angry at Luna for suggesting it, and Heartworm first had Vestec swear by him and then swore to Vakarlon by him. (Perhaps there will be others as I continue studying reading these posts). I wonder if Amul would actually enforce these if someone were to attempt to break them.
