@Everyone: Here are some 'teasers' of what I have been working on: Day 1: A change of hatred Day 2: His own blood takes charge Day 3: A 'big' problem Day 4: The Sun and the Moon Day 5: Night rules
@seriousarmour: Oops, sorry! I counted 8 players and 8 replies and assumed everybody had posted. There's absolutely no rush.
@babbysama I see that you are well versed in Saqquar philosophy
But I guess I did throw away my chance with that quote by posting it here. Thank god these quotes are dime a dozen, so I can look real smart with a simple google search haha
Also sorry for double post, I'm writing my own IC post now.
Looks like everybody is in favor of Pizurk being Day 1's Commander. His plan is also a sound one. But Bane brings up some notable points. I'll permit time for others to state their opinion on Pizurk's plan, and once I see that everybody is in the same boat I will make a post to start the Combat Phase.
@TJByrum Hold yer horses boss. We still wanna resovle some conflicts and business issues. Like I want to borrow some elephants and talk with the brat who shittalled the orcs. And wanna give my engineers the order to build stuff if we're not going to be using my stuff in the first day. Like those portable archer shields Bane talked about.
@6slyboy6: Haha, no problem. I think I'll just wait until Friday.
For the record, I didn't think Florian's dialogue was all bad. He brought up some logical points, and if I were one of the characters in this world I would definitely agree with him.
@TJByrum He DID make some good points, but the whole point was that his speech tried to ruin this fragile allkance in the very first moment. "Every civilization's worth is determined by how they treat their weakest." In this case that civilization is us, and the orcs are not the "weakest" per say, but definetly the worst of us.
The post is up, and I think I may have more to add to our plans. After some thinking, I have came to a conclusion that you can read in the IC, and I want to know your thoughts on my change of plan. Or altering, if you want to sugarcoat it.
Also sorry for double posting, I just want to make sure everyone gets a notification about the new post :P
Don't worry. The weird boi Wizards are just gonna stay back and let your forces get slaughtered. Erebus couldn't care less if you forget to mention any of them going to battle. They might not even participate if not asked...
No, but really. I'll get a post up mentioning their use since probably none of the Commanders ICly know.
Oh yeah, just as a quick note, I probably won't be avaible in the coming week. I am going on a vacation to lake Balaton, and the place where I'll be staying isn't likely to have good internet connection. Even if it does, I cannot make any significant posts from my mobile phone.
I will try and get a second post up tomorrow, I have been working on my own RP's first IC post for the past few days and after that is done I will work on it :P
Lol well I think we're just waiting for the next step. I could do a post about Florian fuming to himself and getting scolded by his cousin or something but I think as TJ said we were going to leave more character development moments to the Camp Phase and that the Battle Phase is what's directly up next.
Physical: Zaru stands slightly over 9ft tall. His body is covered in light-tan fur that grows whiter on the inside of his legs, chest, and up his elongated neck, the front of which has an especially thick tuft of fur that seemingly signifies his statues as a leader.
Equipment: -Outrider garb -Sal'Kari longspear -curved dagger Background: Zaru is an Outrider-scout of a beastmen tribe from a land far from the known continent. His history is unknown beyond his arrival, only that he is the leader of the small group that arrived on the western shores of Galatia. His group has largely kept to themselves but have had mostly friendly dealings with those they have come across and he himself has had at least one civil conversation with a Galatian emissary.
Faction: The Sal'kari Tribes Not much is know about the far off land of Sal'kar and the tribes that dwell there. Conversations with Zaru himself has given some insight, however, mainly into their government: The most powerful tribe's leader is the high Chieftain of a council of unified tribes made up of the leaders of the said tribes. Zaru, of course, hasn't been comfortable with revealing too much.
Command: The group that landed on Galatia's shores numbers no more than twenty not including Zaru. There are 16 Outrider-scouts wearing garments similar to Zaru only less ornate and wielding longspears. The remaining four are warriors that Zaru has called "Arcanists"
Wearing red garb instead of the outrider's blue the Arcanists are powerful fighters with runed greatspears. They shield themselves in arcane energy that acts similar to plate armor without the ill-effects of wearing such heavy armor, arrows and swords have been scene to simply glance off them
In the few encounters with bandit groups that sought to prey on the party they have been observed with the strength to tear the ill equipped brigands apart and drive their spears straight through most chainmail and some light-plate.
