Personality: Rowen has what one would call a fiery personality. If they liked her, that is. Otherwise, they'd be more likely to use words like volatile, or explosive. All of these are rather appropriate. Despite being a mother, a wife, and an aging woman, the fire that burns in Rowen's soul is as bright as ever, and she knows it. Even though she left her hero life behind, she kept the attitude that went along with it. She works by her own rules, her own morals, even if it goes against laws or social norms. She doesn't believe in censoring, resulting in a lack of a filter, which, in the case of a mother, isn't always great. But Rowen is also fiercely loyal, always standing with those she loves, even if it means she has to give up on something she loves.

However lately, behind the raging hot infernal aura Rowen surrounds herself with lie emotions that she never felt before her retirement. This feeling, plaguing her mind, is a feeling of...depression. Uselessness. Lack of direction. Her days as a superheroine were the best days of her life. She loves her husband, and she loves her son, but she misses being a superheroine. Flying through the sky, destroying evil, saving civilians. They're all things she never thought she'd have to live without. Even so, she's trying to make the best of it. For her family.

Power: Rowen has the peculiar ability to make fire come out of the pores of her skin. With this, she can essentially catch herself on fire, launch fiery rays at people, fly, and, her son's personal favorite, pop popcorn with her bare hands.

Drawback: Rowen's power is very chaotic. Once the fire leaves her skin, she can't control it, which can lead to major damages to people and property.

Personal History: Rowen is what one would call a second generation hero. Her father and mother were heroes in the 70s and 80s, and were quite revered as heroes to all. Eruption, the man who could send out fiery explosions, of which he was the center, and the Diamond, a women with impenetrable skin. The two saved the world from powerful villains on more than one occasion, and were known as two of the most successful superheroes of their time. Of course, that was only half of the picture. Only half of their lives.

Behind the famous masks were James and Amanda Han, an average couple living an average life, for the most part. James worked as a secretary of an office for Cup O' Joe Inc., while Amanda was a freelance photographer. The two were happy together, both in there secret lives and their public ones. That is, until June 15th of 1982, when they had their first child, a girl named Rowen. Now, to say that it was Rowen's fault that her parents' marriage was doomed would be mean-spirited and preposterous. But it would also be true.

When Rowen was first born, her parents made a pact that they'd leave their crime fighting days behind, for their child. And both of them did. For a while, at least. A few years after Rowen was born, they had a second child, Benjamin. A few years after that, John, in secret, began to fight crime once again. For years he was able to fly under Amanda's radar, sneaking out at night, or taking days off work without her knowing. But it wasn't long after their third child, Cassidy, was born that she found out.

Of course there was a fight. There was yelling, there was shouting, there was throwing of household items. There were three children hiding in the attic, waiting for their mommy and daddy to stop. But they never did. It didn't take long for the two to get lawyers. What first was a divorce soon became a custody case. Amanda, who had hired the better lawyers, won the case, and got two of the children, the ten-month-old Cassidy and the nine-year-old Benjamin. Rowen, being fourteen, the oldest of the three, was given a choice: go with her mother, or go with her father. Now, she loved them both equally, but she couldn't help feel pity for her father. He hadn't gotten any of his children. So she went with him.

The following years were hard on the both of them. James didn't know how to raise a daughter on his own, not without his wife. So instead, he raised her like a son. It was around this time that Rowen gained her ability: the impervious skin of her mother plus the fiery explosions of her father resulted in the ability to create flames from her pores. It wasn't easy to control at first. She accidently started a few fires at her school, which was what lead to her being homeschooled for the rest of high school. Her father kept heroing, and introduced her to heroing at a young age. It started out small, with muggings and robberies, but it didn't stay that way. The girl's first big debut was when she was 17.

Her father had left her at their small apartment (Amanda had gotten the house) while he went to go confront a crazy psychopath who planned on blowing up the moon with his enormous laser. It ended up being a trap to capture every superhero in the city. But the villain failed to factor one thing into his master plan: Rowen. How could he? She had never made a name for herself as a hero. She was unknown, the variable. When all seemed lost, and there were no heroes left to fight the villain, in came a young woman, clad in a bright yellow and orange super suit, barreling through the skylight on fire. Though she'd never admit it, crashing into the main power, releasing all the heroes from there containment, was a complete accident. Nonetheless, Rowen was welcomed with open arms into the super community.

In the years after, Blaze became one of the most talked about heroes out there. She was on the cover of magazines, she was invited onto talk shows, she even received a key to the city. But nothing was quite as good, in Rowen's opinion, as the thrill of heroing. Defeating massive monsters, outsmarting masterminds, entering fights never knowing if you were going to leave in one peace. It was just so exciting. She loved it more than anything. That is, until she met someone.

She was around 29 when her life changed. It was supposed to be a heroic mission: track down a murdering thief, then bring him to prison. Simple as that. She'd faced far worse in her years of heroing. But when she finally did track him down...she found the most complex challenge she ever had to face. Before her was a murderer, but he did not fight her. He...seemed depressed. Against her better judgement, she talked to him. It didn't take long for her to realize that he regretted what he did. For some reason, she just new he wasn't acting. He really did want a second chance. So she gave it to him. She let him live with her, helped him get a job. She rebuilt his life with him, but in doing so, she realized that she had become the center of it. And he had become the center of hers.

It wasn't long after that that the two got married. Perhaps it was a bit quick, but they both felt it was right. Two years later, they adopted a child. It was at this point that Eric first proposed the idea of retiring. At first, Rowen was hesitant. She had been a hero for most of her life. It was what she loved. But she was pushed over the edge when her father became paralyzed from the neck down in a superhero battle. So, regrettably, she hung up the cape, for her family. She now works as a helicopter pilot for the news, a job that's less appetizing than being a superhero, but isn't the worse job out there.

Focus: Rowen's trying to leave her heroing life behind her as best she can, for her family. God knows it's hard.

Retiree 1: Rowen's adorable and lovable husband! The two met under less then conventional means, in that she was a superhero hunting him, a criminal. But when she found him, she found a man looking for a new life, a second chance. And, being one to never let society's rules go against her own morals, she decided to give it to him. She gave him shelter, and eventually the two, as they say, fell in love. Rowen absolutely adores him, though she's never been one to show it in the cheesy ways most people do. Which is why she leaves most of romantic gestures to him. He seems to be able to pull them off better than she could hope to.

Hero 1: Rowen's little sister's boyfriend. It might just be her sisterly instincts, but she doesn't really like him. From the interactions she's had with the guy, he seems immensely irresponsible. But she's let him know (in private) that if he does a thing to Cassidy, he will feel what it feels like to burn in hellfire.

Hero 2: Rowen's little sister! Even though, towards the beginning of Cassidy's life, they were separated due to the divorce of their parents, the two, in later years, became quite close. Rowen loves her little sister, but is perhaps a little too protective of her.

Personality: In the most simple of terms, Adrian is a man of passion. He lives, loves, and acts in fits of vigor. His passion is not fiery, but rather forceful and earthy. Granted, these outbursts ebb and flow, especially because using his power can often leave him drained and anxious. On good days, he has a personality that can consume the room, turning heads his way. A man who demands attention, he holds it, and his dark humor and charisma has made him a great many friends over the years.

Those who know Adrian the best, however, know that this is mostly a facade. He is certainly passionate, but he likes to show it in more subtle ways to those he truly cares about. Behind closed doors, it is easy to tell that Adrian is often tired and introverted, despite the exterior he tries to give off. It's hard work, pretending to be someone he isn't, but it has worked quite well for him and his business.

He craves attention and affection as a means of coping. The obvious attachment between him and Irene is certainly not one-sided. So far, he has managed to separate work and play very well. While on the job, he plays the cold, calculating boss, but he can quickly drop the facade around his friends and lover. While Irene has begun to meld her two lives together, it only seems as though Adrian is very quickly growing into two very different people.

Power: Adrian has the power to manipulate blood within and outside of a body. He can control the flow of it, pulling blood away from some parts of the body and towards others. It is easier for him to control blood outside of the body since there is no barrier between him and the blood in that instance.

Drawback: Blood manipulation takes a great amount of concentration, and so Adrian is left vulnerable whenever he uses his power. He can only focus on one entity at a time, making his power disadvantageous when he is up against a group of opponents. Further, he often finds himself exhausted after using his power extensively. If he's in a large fight, he may find himself bedridden for a few days.

Personal History: Life for Adrian has always been the same, and it likely will always be. He was the fifth child born to two low-middle class parents. Though he never truly wanted for anything, the household certainly lacked money to spend on luxuries - except for the times where Adrian's father, Adam, would come home lucky from some side-job or another. Perhaps it was through his father that Adrian first got a taste for illicit activities and how they could transform a household. Some of his happiest days as a child were his father coming back with enough money for them to go on a day trip. Whether Adrian's mother, Hannah, knew of her husband's jobs was a whole other story.

Of course, neither parent wanted Adrian to turn to such a life. Instead, they pushed him towards his studies, and the boy found a passion for English. If things had been different, he might have gone on to make a career out of them for himself, perhaps even teach and share his passion, but such a life would have seemed too boring for Adrian. For most of his high school career, he skirted on the edge of good and bad, running in less-than-savory crowds of acquaintances. His powers made him someone intriguing and worth getting to have on your side.

Adrian did manage to go to college, and it was during his studies that he truly began to express his interest in illegal activities. It began with a few favors for friends, but as Adrian began to see the money that could be made in selling certain substances, he began to be the one calling favors and building up his own network. Though he continued to study English, he picked up a major in business, hoping to improve his capabilities as a "small business" owner once he graduated. And graduate he did - though his degree relied mostly on drug money than anything his parents or grants could provide.

Graduated, he quickly built up his business. He was a man to be reckoned with, for his powers made him a deadly force. He felt truly alive in these endeavors, carving a name for himself in the blood and grit of drug trafficking. It was some-what through his business that he finally met Irene Liam, the proprietor of an establishment his men and women frequented - and his future lover. Their romance was a quick and passionate one as he found himself chasing after this cold, calculating woman and falling for the affectionate one that revealed herself to him later. He spoiled her as best as he could, spending as much time as he was able to so that he might win her over.

But things are changing. Adrian knows of Irene's struggle with the law and he plans to legitimize herself, and while he supports her, he finds it growing more and more difficult to change his ways. He's tired now more than ever as he finds himself working longer nights, using his powers to snuff out threats, and struggling to keep his relationship afloat. It's extremely unstable, but he feels as though he has little choice in the matter now - he may just be too far gone.

Focus: Adrian hopes only to continue making the best life for himself and Irene. He does not see a need to legitimize his work yet because he feels as though he still has a great amount of work that can be done. Perhaps he also lives for the rush he gets living on the edge of what is right and what is wrong. He knows Irene is doing her best to stray from "evil", and so he has been trying to keep his still-illicit actions hidden from her knowledge.
