Rimeth and Amnestria were working on their things for some time and when Rimeth got tired of it, she placed them back in the big baskets and as natural, a servant went away and came back with her drawing supplies. She smiled friendly. ''Thank you Anne'' she said and started to draw her mother who sat there working on her embroidery work. Amnestria looked at her daughter and smiled. ''Never loose the fire in your heart dearest.. I know that I'm hard on you sometimes but, promise me to never loose it'' she said. Rimeth was surprised by what her mother said and crawled over to hug her.

Right as mother and daughter were hugging, Theodemar and Jovian would enter. Rimeth looked up and saw the concern on the faces of them, even if they were hiding it, she saw it in their eyes. Amnestria saw it too and after she let go of Rimeth, she laid away her work and got up to meet her husband. Amnestria said nothing and walked with him to where he would sit, she knew her husband and knew he needed her attention now. Rimeth looked at Jovian and held her head a little to the side. ''Jovian?'' she said, it was more a question than just saying his name. ''What did you two discuss? You seem worried'' she plainly said then, not being subtle yet, like her mother.

Jovian had tried to hide his emotions but apparently they had shown through somehow. He figured he wouldn’t be able to hide it away from Rimeth. She know him since he was little. He walked over and sat down beside her.

“It’s just about the humans again.”
He said, trying not to get specific. It was up to her father to tell Sylvar about the humans possibly attacking Onorine. “They are always up to no good.” He looked at her, his eyes had become slightly saddened, then looked at the fire. The fire always seemed to have a captivating effect on him. It had seemed to be a normal thing to the rest of the elves. It was somewhat calming. The heat that come off of the fire relaxed him.

He looked back at Rimeth, “Do you have any plans for us tomorrow?” He asked curiously. He hadn’t really thought about what they were going to do while he stayed over at her place for a little while.

Rimeth looked at him as he sat down and listened to what he said. She nodded and gave him a sweet smile. ''True, I wish the humans were more like us.. I mean, we leave them alone, why would they have to attack us..'' she said and saw the sadness in his eyes. She laid her sketchbook to the side and sat a little closer to him, laying her head on his shoulder. Rimeth had not ever done such a thing and it made her blush slightly, but she kept her head on his shoulder and looked at the fire.

When Jovian spoke up again, Rimeth lifted her head up and looked at him. ''I normally would have drawing lessons, embroidery lessons and of course archery practice but I told my teachers that when you are here, I will probably not have much time for them and they were okay with that... I mean, our friendship or eh.. relationship.. depends on how you wanna call it... is more important to me than those lessons'' she said. Rimeth had started to blush from the idea of calling what they had a 'relationship'

Jovian glanced to his side when she had moved closer to him and she put his head on his shoulder. He had blushed thinking that she wouldn’t have done that. “Thank you.” He said looking into the fire.

He looked down at her, “You did all that for me?” He turned a little red. The glow of the fire helped disguise the color in his face. “Our relationship…” He trailed off. His slowly reached out, grabbing her hand with his, holding it. “We’re going to have to spend our whole lives together.” He paused a moment, “I’ll try my best to make you happy.” He said and smiled down at her. “I have no idea what’s in store for us.” He figured Rimeth was old enough to understand what being in a relationship meant. He had hoped she had observed how her mother and father treated each other. He figured she was too young and sheltered to know what went beyond just kissing each other, but maybe she had known more than he thought.

He looked back at the fire, pondering his future life. What the humans are going to do. Will they try to eradicate all the elves? Will Rimeth be truly happy with him? Will his parents be okay if the humans attack? He had so many questions that needed answering but time would only time. He figured as long as Rimeth and his relationship didn’t fall through, it would be okay. Uniting the elves at this point could very well be their only chance at survival in the years to come. He wondered if Rimeth had yet truly grasped the importance of their relationship.

Jovian would try his best to keep her happy.

Rimeth looked at him and when he took her hand in his, she smiled softly and blushed. She looked quickly at her parents but they were in their own world. She leaned a bit more against him again and nodded softly when he asked her if she did that for him. ''Of course I did... I mean.. We will marry, and it's better to marry someone you have a good bond with than not knowing each other at all...'' she said, she had her wise moments even if she was only young.

''For now life has in store that we will be officially engaged at the end of the week.. And from then, a lot will start up for our future I think.. Plotting where we will live, and the wedding and such of course'' she said and looked at the fire. ''I would love to marry in the spring.. I am born on the third day of Autumn and I really like the season but spring is the season of new beginnings'' she suddenly said and shifted her eyes to him, looking at his face. ''Jovian.. Why are you thinking so much?'' she suddenly asked, quite serious. ''Come on.. Enjoy this evening, there is enough time to think about everything that can happen later..'' she said and moved a little so she could look at him straight.

Jovian nodded as he listened to her. When she had looked at him asking him why he was thinking so much he let out a deep breath, relaxing. If only she had known what was happening in the world.

“You’re right.” He paused looked at her, gripping her hand a little tighter and gentler, letting her know that his attention was on her, “I’m here with you, and that’s what matters.” He said smiled. “Marrying in the spring sounds perfect.” He said, “It’s my favorite season.” He smiled at her. “It’ll be fun to figure out where we are going to live.” He said happily. He truly was excited and couldn’t wait for their life to start.

Rimeth smiled and leaned against the big pillow. A servant came to serve them all a cup with wine and she took hers and looked at Jovian as he was talking. ''Spring it is then'' the young elf said and gave him a sweet smile. When he mentioned the part of where they were gonna live, she nodded. ''Creating our own village or city could be a option.. But, then we need to find a place for that, and that could take years before people come to live with us'' she said and was just fantasizing a little. ''Plus... I would like a village where everyone can live together in peace, kind of like the one we already have but then,
another one..''
she said and sighed.

''War is pointless... Both sides loose people who have a wife's, children, a family.. People that are friends and such..
And what does it give you back?''
Rimeth said and she looked at Jovian. ''Why is it that people... Both, human and elves, always want more when they have something? I mean, not only humans have it... I remember a man in this city.. He had a farm and worked hard to make it bigger, now he lives in a mansion at the edge of town and he is really bitter.. He did it mostly the honest way but even he kept wanting more...'' she explained. She took a sip of her wine and sighed.
