Lazing off, the winter princess remained in her noble posture while the various chatter amongst the other students echoed through the vast hall. Her eyes occasionally changed direction, peering across the auditorium with gentle interest at just how this building took shape and is capable of keeping upright. For Maya was good with numbers, in fact brilliant as a testament to her father's upbringing that formed her mind, but nevertheless her many calculations to this construction had proven effortless and futile; the numbers simply didn't add up. Perhaps she's missing a detail here or there, or perhaps she's still lacking in the knowledge front to truly analyze the weight, the shape and the pillar's strength to make it up. But one thing she'd promised herself, by the end of her term here at Saint Hirst, she'd be able to find the solution to this mindcracker of her's.

While her thoughts dabbled with numbers and letters and all other forms of numerical calculations, the chatter of the room ended with the sound of the speaker that would open the schoolyear. Mundane speech like last year, and the year before, but at the end of the day it's more to help newcomers. But the events that unfolded following the end of the speech formed a mayhem unequal to any one known before. Students threw themselves over the two teachers with a hint of bloodlust, or rather roomlust, as if they were savage apes from lands far below. But the refined, young, mafia-daughter remained seated while the stampede unfolded while softly pondering if any where to perish due to this unforeseen event.

Luckily no one did, as everyone got unhurt to the podium and recieved their roomnumbers and the like before breaking out into loud chatter once more, Maya finally took to her feets and moved towards the two teachers lightly as one of the very last. "Miss Hildr,
Madam Boss, may I have my roomnumber?"
She spoke with a mixture of formal gentleness and harsh sterness, as she usually did when regarding her higher-ups.

The Boss

So things had gone from bad to worse; not only were the two competent teachers in the room being swarmed and buried by the majority of the student body but the true Student President had revealed herself in a raging huff. The false president, who both Rufie and Blake referred to as Dana, seemed to recoil under the accusation being given to her. Such was Rufie’s rage that a good chunk of the stampeding students quieted down and turned to see the commotion.

“…..Rufie! Oh my god, where have you been? I’ve been looking all over for you!” Dana said in aghast, slapping her palms to her cheeks and letting loose a gasp. Ignoring Blake’s snickering she continued with, “Ah, but you see, I was the culprit all along! Clearly this was all in preparation for someone as overworking and stressful as you…my love.”

The collective gasps of some of the students masked the grunt Dana emitted as Blake hugged her from behind along with a hiss of, “I’ll tell you later,” in response to her question. Trying to manage the other girl on her, she made the effort to bend to one knee and extend an arm out for Rufie to take. “For you see, my dearest beloved, I wanted to relieve the burden of leadership from you; alas! I only sought to shoulder your responsibility of leading these fine youth into the future…as well as get you to wear that dashing dress…forgive me Rufie, for I have sinned! Forgive me…for loving too much and you, so little!”

As melodramatic as that all may have sounded, Dana’s words had actually managed to sway the hearts of the onlookers and some even began to chant, “Forgive her, forgive her,”. “Give me a break,” Boss muttered under her breath; she wasn’t sure if she should reward Dana for temporarily halting the student tsunami or suspend her for staring it in the first place. “May I have everyone’s attention please; please remain in your positions while I call out student names as well as their room numbers. After that, direct all questions and directions about your rooms to Mrs. Hildr.”

That gave her and Hildr some freedom of movement and the girls began to form small little groups for further space. And so began the long process of getting everyone informed and out of there. “Hello Sarah. You will be paired with Riley Rodgers in Room Three this year,” Boss said with a nod to her, sending the girl off before rolling out the rest of the names. “Tilia Fitzregald and Nadalena Kofenstein in Room Two. Blake Eights, Student President Rufie, and Dana in Room Five,” she said, getting through each girl one by one.

Soon enough there was only a few stragglers left, of which included Seyrun and Maya. “Hello to you too Maya. You will be rooming with Sina Segert in Room Four this year. Have a nice day,” Boss said, thankful that the process was over and done with. Given Dana’s interference, it could have gone a lot worse. “Is there anyone else that still needs their room number and roommate?” she called out into what was left of the crowd.

Nadalena Kofenstein

Ceremony Hall, Saint Hirst Academy for Fine Ladies

Tilla Fitzgerald. Room 2.

She didn’t recognize the name, but something in Nadalena urged her that this was not the most optimal of arrangements. Would it be like last year when she was grouped with the loudmouthed girl whom she couldn’t be bothered with remembering the name of or would this be fundamentally worse somehow?

Whichever the case, Nadalena wasn’t sure how to take the news without any relevant information worth remembering about the name coming to mind. Fitzgerald was a surname that fit a few select norms and as much as Nadalena could presume it meant her new roommate was some variance of Francian, Britannian, or a derivative colony of either. To think the academy would even be afforded by colonials that were not akin to their szefowa nearly made Nadalena break character and smirk in amusement. Ignoring the thought, Nadalena continued to wait for further direction and for the ceremony to end proper; sitting, patient of what was to come of the rest of the morning.

Riley Rodgers

Riley didn’t much care for the mess that was the opening ceremonies, she just wanted her room so she could be on her way. She brushed a stray lock of white blond hair out of her dark green eyes before attempting to find room 3, she would be sharing it with Sarah Finnigan, a fourth year. From what Riley could remember, the girl was always humming. Not that Riley would mind, she enjoyed music herself but was no good at producing it. No, she would stick to tinkering with her automatons.

Once in her room she found her things were already there, it seemed the staff were up to their usual standard of getting things done in a timely manner. She rifled through her things until she found her tools, she picked a desk and started tinkering. She wasn’t much for talking and so always dreaded the start of the year when they were assigned roommates. Everyone wanted to talk…and she was not that interesting. If she tinkered they generally left her to her own devices which was fine by Riley. She also had a tendency to unintentionally intimidate the other girls with her hulking frame. She was harmless – unless you were a bully. But her muscles said otherwise, not that she’d ever gotten into a fight at Saint Hirst but she’d heard the stories some of the other girls had made up about her.

Ramona Herrman

"I can't believe I took the wrong train... So much for arriving early."
After disembarking in Sabrie's capital, it was needless to say Ray had been tired after her long journey. The warrior had figured out that she was in the wrong area due to the fact that a few townsfolk found it amusing when she had asked for directions to Saint Hirst Academy. Immediately, she hired a local horse and carriage, paying them more than enough to take her to the Academy as well as funding their journey back to the Capital.

A few hours later the carriage slowed to a stop at an entrance displaying a few banners which had indicated that the ceremony was being held inside. Before getting out Ramona turned, properly thanking the driver and picking up her luggage. She traveled lightly, only carrying a single suitcase and her trusted steel. It was taught to all knights to be prepared for anything, but to also travel light so that nothing would hinder a solider in the case of an emergency. Noting the time on the nearby clock tower it appeared that she had been a few minutes late. Rushing forward, Ramona wrenched open the large wooden door and entered what could only be described as absolute chaos.

Girls of all grades were seen clamoring towards the only two authority figures present. There seemed to be a misunderstanding with the events of the orientation, a prank of sorts. Nonetheless, these seemingly odd turn of events caused the swords-woman to tense in preparation of possible battle. Suddenly, to her left at the entrance she had just come through, a student who had obviously just sprinted over a mile strolled into the building looking quite annoyed. Ray's eyebrows rose ever so slightly. She was awed by the stark contrast of her homeland to the shenanigans displayed here.

Over the next few moments everything had been sorted out... somewhat. Before long, one of the authority figures, a busty woman with golden blonde hair began assigning room numbers to the students that surrounded her.
"Is there anyone that still needs their room number and roommate?" She questioned, the jurisdiction clear in her tone.

After standing on the sidelines quietly with her back against the wall, Ray finally stepped forward making her presence known. She stood tall, her back straight, chin held high, and eyes focused to attention as she addressed the boss woman.
"Excuse me madam." Ray spoke clearly, her voice calm and clipped like that of a professional officer.
"My apologies for arriving late. I ended up getting side tracked however, I understand that that is no excuse for my irresponsibility. Regardless, I have not revived my room assignment as well as my class schedule."

It was then that Ray had noticed more than a dozen eyes boring into her. Could it have been because of the way that she spoke? Or perhaps the sword that she held near her waist was intimidating to others? Not used to this much attention, Ramona felt her face heat up, no doubt a blush crept across her cheeks. She grit her teeth to attempt to hide her bashful nature and resumed her attention on the instructor before her.
I have just transferred here from Germania. My name is Herrman, Ramona Herrman."

Tilia Fitzregald

Soon, the crowd became more organized, and Tilia lost her chance to pull down more flies. So she behaved herself, standing in the line like the others. Of course, she still used the opportunity to pull down the fly of the girl in front of her, while the girl behind her was blushing furiously at her own opened fly, not knowing what to do.

After standing in the line for quite some time, she finally got her turn to talk with the Boss (her fly still undone thanks to the girl behind her being terribly shy to notice her about it). Nadalena Kofenstein, huh? So she would be her roommate? She wondered what kind of person she was. She hoped she would be a fun person to tease.

She then returned to her seat as she waited for the rest of the girls to be sorted. She noticed all sorts of pretty and interesting looking girls, from the blue-haired girl who looked like she gave off a wintry atmosphere around her, to the confident redhead who came late. She noticed the latter was carrying a sword with her. A swordswoman? Now that's interesting. She had a fancy of learning swordsmanship just so she could "accidentally" cut her opponent's clothes in combat, exposing her bra and panties to the world. Too bad she had no talent in it whatsoever.

Seyrun Riviathan
St. Hirst Academy, Dining Hall, Morning

Seyrun sat quietly and demurely through all the ordeal, caused by one of the Academy's resident problem children. Of course, the bouncing blonde wasn't the only one to cause trouble, as was evident by other figures like Eigths and Fitzgerald engaging in their shameless antics. It all amused Seyrun to a degree, but she couldn't help but notice that many others still decided to keep their distance and be lone wolves. The one student that called for her attention more than any other at the moment was the redheaded Germanian.

Generally speaking, carrying swords in open public is a privilege of either royalty or high nobility. Even then, this kind of behavior invited unwanted duels.
Seyrun wondered what kind of person this Ramona Herrman was?

As soon as all of the commotion died, Seyrun moved walked toward the teachers and asked for her room partner. Once she got the information she asked for, Seyrun couldn't help but smirk. "Well, I guess that I'm going to find it out faster than I imagined," she thought while making her way to her room, after excusing herself courteously.

St. Hirst Academy, Dining Hall, Midday

Lunch came faster than expected to Seyrun as well as many of the other students, especially the newcomers. The air of excitement was all over the place. Sadly, Seyrun didn't have a chance to meet with her roommate and see for herself what kind of person Herrman really was. Instead of going straight to her room, the Nordic girl went to the Academy's library.

While there, Seyrun caught wind of a very curious story that would come to be known by some of the other students by the time of lunch, as a rumor: Today's newspaper had an article talking about the mysterious disappearance of a pair of women over the weekend. The two of them had gone missing around the Rue Royale area, known for being a prime spot for the affluent gentlemen who are looking for some evening fun.

The only clue found by the authorities was an old styled Brittanian top hat. The maker's identification had long faded, but it is evidently a very worn out piece. All the other details regarding the events of the disappearance are a matter of speculation. One can only wonder what it could mean...

"That's indeed a very curious story. I wonder what happened? Nevertheless, it's not half as much curious as this one," Seyrun said as she approached the dining hall only to find a note stuck to the bulletin board right by the door.

"An invitation for the Mystery Investigation Society, meet up in the library, after classes... I didn't even know this Academy had such a society. Perhaps, I'll go give it a look," Seyrun said as she got into the hall and found a place to herself in one of the many tables spread across the magnificent room.

By the time the hall was organized, Sina was exhausted. Her and the other committee members were busy with the attempt to organize the students on their way to the teachers. It was a good thing that Rufie, the actual student council president, arrived. It was unfortunate about the shape she was in, but Sina was too busy with the mess that Dana caused to take any note of it. When the chaos ended, Sina did catch her room number and her new roommate's name, but there was something else that caught her eye as everything settled down.

Tilia Fitzgerald. Sina only had minute interactions with her before, and none of them were good. What was worse was Sina saw the girl pull down another's fly! While Sina was amused on the inside with her lewd behavior, such behavior was still unacceptable. Quickly, Sina took out a slip of paper from her handbook, colored yellow, and wrote on the slip of Tilia's indecent acts. Two copies would be made and Tilia would receive one while the other would go on top of the most likely overflowing paperwork pile the committee had. While yellow stood as a warning and would have no consequences attached, perhaps it will shake the girl. After Sina wrote the warning, she went toward Tilia and grabbed her shoulder with a loud cough as the girl waited in line, holding the slip of paper right in front of her. "You are very lucky this is the first day." Sina said with a heavy Germanian accent. "Next time I catch you committing an indecent act, the slip of paper will not be yellow." With her warning set in stone, Sina continued her duties until she herself could retrieve her room number.

Midday....

Lunch soon came, and with that Sina's surprise that the rest of the day was so far without a hitch besides the opening day's paperwork in the discipline committee's room. But the Germanian girl would not count on there not being any more trouble considering what happened this morning. She could not help but admire the structure, and the air, of the dining hall yet again. Everything was bright and the girls all seemed to be having a good time. The notice board also seemed to be filled already, but Sina did not read it yet. She was more preoccupied with acquiring food, with all of the food offered by the academy richer and tastier than any of the food she had back home on top of Sina's hunger. Taking a tray, Sina looked for a seat and spotted a blue haired girl and immediately thought of how she looked to be of highborn status with a bit of a reminder of looking at pictures of ice from the Nordlands. Sina pondered for a moment before she remembered who the girl was.

Oh, she is Riviathan. She is from my grade. Sina decided to make her way over to the Nordland woman, careful not to bump into anyone on the way. "Mind if I sit with you?" Sina politely asked Riviathan as she put down her tray, but was prepared to move it if the girl declined her offer.

Tilia Fitzregald

"Ehem!"

Tilia nearly jumped when out of nowhere, a hand landed on her shoulder, accompanied by an obviously fake cough. She turned around to see a girl frowning holding a piece of paper towards her.

"You are very lucky this is the first day. Next time I catch you committing an indecent act, the slip of paper will not be yellow."

Now Tilia understood. She was a member of the disciplinary committee, obvious from the armband she's wearing. And she certainly looked quite displeased.

"I have no idea what you're talking about, senpai! If you're referring to my fly being open, that was totally, 100%, an honest mistake!" Tilia answered cheerfully, pretending to not know her crimes.

After she left, Tilia read the paper. Yep, she totally knew everything.

Oh well. What's a little excitement without a little risk? She would just make sure she wouldn't get caught next time.

And dear miss disciplinary committee had forgotten to tell her to zip her still open fly.

Hildr Reinhardt

"Well...that was something." Hildr remarked bluntly, eyebrows raised in the stages direction as she was caught between laughing and groaning at the public display of affection(?) from the impostor Dana. At the very least it had caught the attention of the students and Boss was all too ready to capitalize on their awe to rally them into some sense of order.

On the stage, Rufie received the confession of unyielding love with an unwavering scowl till she found Dana kneeling before her with everything but the ring. That Blake was still clinging to her back diminished the intended effect rather substantially if anyone bought it at all.

"Ahem, if I could have the attention of the students not already enjoying my...associates farce." She announced, whirling to face the masses in such a way her frilly dress lightly struck Dana across the face, snubbing her proposal to the shocked gasps of several. "For those of you new, allow me to introduce the Student Council. I am your actual president, so please call me Rufie. You may have also noticed my Vice President, Ms. Eights, and well as our Treasurer, Dana. Furthermore, Dana is, rather obviously, an accomplished thespian of our own Saint Hirst Theater. Though suffice it to say, I much prefer her performance as the lead in last year's Candide to her earlier work in the romantic styling."

"For any such students interested in endeavors of acting, please do feel free to consult with my excitable associate, otherwise I ask you take what she says with a grain of salt. We are ladies of class, not the future aspirants of some bordello." Rufie concluded with a withering glare at the open perversion displayed by several trouble makers among them already, and most assuredly the ones behind her before departing the stage to go about her business as a student.

This ended the show, as it were, interest waning when Dana's profession was torn apart like oh so many love letters slipped into the lockers of ladies amidst the bloom of dawning maturity, leaving the teachers confronted with another attention getter who rather suited the rose analogy in Hildr's head.

"Oh, a native of my homeland I see!" The teacher piped in enthusiastically despite the noble girl seeking Boss' favor, and looked her over from head to toe with a nod of approval. "You seem to have a good head on your shoulders, so don't concern yourself too much with a bit of lateness. Boss here will give you grief for it, but here at Hirst, nothing is unforgivable so long as you are willing to work to rectify it. Rumor has it some of our best and brightest alumni were in fact near-do-wells and delinquents who slept through half their classes!"

Before Boss could chide her for spreading less then flattering tales, her eyes flickered down to the schedules and sheets mirroring Boss' own, rifling through it's alphabetized listing to come upon the one called for. "Ah, it does appear you'll be in Room 1 with Seyrun Leviathan. Certainly better accommodation then what Kofenstein is putting up with. At the very least she'll respect your steal enough to leave it be, though do take care in leaving it sheathed." The teacher said, her amicable tone taking a more commanding edge. "It is your right to carry a sword on these grounds, but I will not tolerate it being drawn against a student, staff, or faculty here. That is a mark of pride and stature, not an instrument of threat."

It only took a glance to Ramona to assure Hildr the threat was unneeded, but such a declaration was for the benefit of weary onlookers who'd likely never seen a drawn blade not resting upon their dining table. Flashing a grin to the Germanian rose, the teacher readily amended, "Though we certainly have facilities to keep your arm in practise, if the interest fancies you."

Ramona Herrman

While Ramona stood patiently, waiting for a response from the buxom blonde holding the roster. Another voice spoke causing the warriors attention to shift. Approaching the Boss's left side was the other authority figure leading the orientation. A serious looking brunette with a face that said she had no tolerance for rule breaking.

"Oh, a native of my homeland I see!" She spoke enthusiastically while giving Ray a quick assessment.

Ray remained standing, quietly lost in thought while processing the conversation. She wondered idly if her fellow Germanian knew anything about the Knights Order. More importantly, whether or not she had known the Herrman name. This worried Ray slightly due to the fact that she had wanted a different lifestyle here than the one she had at home. Escaping her family background was detrimental to her independent experience. Her calm demeanor faltered slightly displaying an anxious look across her face. All she wanted to do was take a quick nap, the long journey had drained her of all her energy, and it was important that she maintained her strength at all times.

However relieved that her tardiness would receive no repercussions, it irritated Ramona slightly by being compared to that of a trouble maker. The red head was known at home for her proper behavior as well as her outstanding attendance and perfect grades. Rules and order have been ingrained into her since her early childhood. She was a firm believer in stability, harmony, and cooperation. The very notion that Ramona was anything less than upstanding had offended the prideful warrior.

Before Ramona had a chance to speak however, the instructor spoke once more after looking over an identical list to the one the other teacher was holding. "Ah, it does appear you'll be in Room 1 with Seyrun Leviathan. Certainly better accommodation then what Kofenstein is putting up with. At the very least she'll respect your steal enough to leave it be, though do take care in leaving it sheathed."

Upon hearing her roommates name as well as the room number she made a point to memorize the new information as it would be useful to her later.
"Leviathan?" Ramona thought while attempting to hide her amused expression.
"Like the sea monster? Interesting." It was then that Ramona had noticed the teacher eyeing her sword.
"It is your right to carry a sword on these grounds, but I will not tolerate it being drawn against a student, staff, or faculty here. That is a mark of pride and stature, not an instrument of threat."

The remark had not offended Ray. It was understood that the faculties main concern was that of the safety of their students. It had been necessary for the teacher to be sure to mention the important yet unique rule pertaining to Ramona's own accessory.

The brunette smiled wide and welcoming. immediately moving the subject to a less defensive nature. "Though we certainly have facilities to keep your arm in practice, if the interest fancies you."

The white knight nodded, her small, polite smile materializing out of thin air.
"Rest assured madam, no harm will come to the students or staff that attend Saint Hirst Academy. I was taught long ago that honor and morality superseded ones own self indulgence. Order is everything. Chaos is only the path to humanities destruction." Those last words caused Ramona's smile to vanish, putting in its place her usual serious expression.

Kneeling slightly, Ray grasped the handle of her suitcase that had been sitting next to her on the ground. She lifted her luggage and relaxed a little, out of nervous habit, she ran her fingers through her fiery red hair and scratched the back of her head.
"As for those facilities you mentioned, I would be delighted to put them to good use. In fact, if you wouldn't mind showing me its location, I would very much appreciate it."
She paused for a moment, shifting her weight from one foot to the other. "However, if it is no inconvenience, I must take my leave in order to grow accommodated to my new surrounding."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Once orientation had ended, Ramona began walking toward the adjacent building known as the Saint Hirst Dormatories. Before leaving the dining hall she was sure to grab a map of the school grounds laying on a table near the exit. One quick look at the map had told her which direction to go in order to make it to the room she would be using for the rest of the school year. As she strolled down the hallway, she took the time to notice the ornate detail of the decor themed about the building. It reminded her of the gothic victorian style which had mimicked the Germanian castle. After it's redesign of course.

Before long, she turned to her left and in front of her was a large wooden door carved out of the finest mahogany. A gold plaque hung on the center reading: "Room One."

"Guess this is the place." Ray mumbled, bracing herself for yet another social encounter.
She entered the bedroom and even though she expected her roommate to have already been there, she was surprised to find that she was alone. She surveyed the room, noting the attention to detail. The furnishings were beautiful as well as expensive. It consisted of two of everything. Study carols, queen sized beds, and bed side tables. There were also two walk in closets. One bathroom stood adjacent to one of the study carols while across the room was a french double doorway also acting as windows. Upon further investigation, Ramona noted that it had also led out to a balcony over looking one of the courtyards that housed a garden so grand, that its beauty had mirrored that of the infamous Eden.

She set her suitcase onto the bed nearest the entrance and began unpacking her few things. She made sure to leave the bed nearest the window for her roommate, whom she was sure would appreciate the view more than her. The items Ramona had brought were minimalist at best. It consisted of basic toiletries, five outfits for any occasion, and three school uniforms. Her only personal belonging was, or course, her sword and a picture of her mother. Even though she had never met the woman, she had been told countless times that she was spitting image of her in looks as well as personality.

She set the frame on her now claimed bedside table and began to change out of her armor. Hanging the metal chain-mail onto a hanger, she placed it carefully and respectfully into the closet. Ray then continued unpacking and putting things away in her underwear, not thinking about the fact that she now shared a room with someone. This behavior had not been unusual for her at home due to the fact that she had always had her own accommodations. She wore a pair of black, lace boy shorts; as well as a matching bra with a single purple bow in its center. This only enhanced her curvaceous frame, large thighs, and bountiful breasts usually hidden by her thick, heavy, armor.
After putting everything in its proper place, the warrior collapsed onto her bed and felt her eyelids grow heavy. Her long, scarlet locks fanned across the pillow beside her while her porcelain arms were held above her head. The goose down feathers were just enough to put the red head in a coma like state, unaware that she had forgotten to schedule an alarm.

Nodding in turn to the Boss, Maya took off with her eyes seemingly closed, her feet pulling her along while her great memory guided her towards the dormitory. The halls were filled with the same chatter that annoyed her greatly, talks about fun things to come, fun things that have passed, and more and more fun. Maya shuddered lightly, she wished for the classes to begin. Because only there could the frozen mafia princess perform at her best. Her best was not necessarily the classes' best, aside from maths were she was a clear cut above average, but at the very least she could be satisfied there.

Halfways to her new sleeping quarters, the thought struck her. Sina Segert was her room mate? The disciplinary officer? Well, it beats living with one of the awfully many perverts running rampant on the campus, Maya concluded, as long as Sina didn't bother too much with rules within the room. Maya couldn't quite remember ever chatting with her, but then again Maya hardly ever spoke words as it was. Social inaptitude was her curse.

And finally reaching the dorm, she entered while giving the housekeep a gentle nod, before quickly turning to her room. Number 4 was plastered on one door, and she opened the door. Clean and empty, satisfyingly so, Maya thought. While the other students were all in arms for food, Maya decided to sit down in her new room, unpacking her items and stuffing it into the wardrobe on her side of the room. And afterwards, a sigh. "Why, dare I ask, is it so bloody hot.." She muttered faintly, before her eyes shut close briefly.

-

Grumble, grumble, that was the sound her stomach echoed softly. But it was enough to wake her up, and the groggy blonde realized she'd not only fallen asleep, but also undressed in her sleep. It felt rather cool to her barren skin, the soft wind flying into her room from the open window. Was it always open? She didn't remember. Either way, she pulled on her clothing and marched towards the cafeteria, a book brought along to keep her company.

The Boss

“Hmmpf. Kill joy…” Whether Rufie would hear the words or not wasn’t really a concern of Dana’s, but the slap via dress really wasn’t appreciated. Rubbing her cheek where it had made its soft mark, she sat back with Blake clinging to her still and listened to what kind of excuse the Student President would make up for her this time. And honestly, it took most of her muscles and Blake’s to keep her from laughing aloud and further disrupting the crowd even more.

Only when Rufie said her final piece and walked off the stage was the blonde girl right back to bouncing, running after the Student President. Of course, Blake still clung but that wasn’t much of an issue. “Oh ho, a thespian? Really? Wow, wow, and you call me the liar,” she snickered, making sure to keep two feet behind Rufie in case she wanted to turn and smack the both of them. “Ah, but the theater truly does call out for my black heart Rufie. And who’s to say my words weren’t really cries of remorse and desire. Ah, so romantic, ah, so spicy!”

With those three gone, the general crowd had significantly lowered in energy and chaos. Boss turned her sights on some of the last few students still need in clearance, one of which looked rather regal and spoke of familiar authority. But before she could respond to Ramona, Hildr already had it covered, explaining both her room number and the policy on carrying around weapons.

“So long as I don’t catch wind of it. Welcome to the Academy,” she said to the young Germanian and sending her off. The students would have a short interval before lunch time would gather them all together. It would take every moment of it to get through the mountains of paperwork Boss and Hildr would find in their offices after direction student traffic from orientation. “I feel like I need a break already,” she said to the other woman, already picking up on the yellow slice of paper sitting still in the pile.

“Another notice of discipline…can’t be Dana or Blake. They’re both smart enough to not be caught. And even if they were, red is much more suiting for them,” she said, sitting at her desk and already getting to work tackling the mounds. “You might as well make yourself comfortable Hildr. Nothing big happens on the first day of school.”

Blake Eights

She had to admit, Rufie sure knew how to take refuge in audacity! Calling Dana a thespian? The term could equally be applied to Rufie with the face she showed the student body, Blake and Dana among the few privy to the simmering rage so cleverly hidden beneath the facade. Mouth brushing against Dana's ear, a rumbling murmur quietly escaped Blake's lips.

"I prefer the private shows you put on where you help me with my art classes~" looking at the mob of a student body being assigned their rooms, Blake sent the group a general wink as she was dragged along by Dana, her grip slipping so her arms were now around Dana's waistline and snickered into Dana's back.

"Careful, careful! We gotta get out of sight before I slip further~! A wardrobe malfuntion the first day would ab-so-lutely shatter the prestige the Student Council has!" legs scrambling behind her to keep up with Dana and Rufie, although not too hard and if an observer didn't know better they would likely suspect Blake's goals. Out of sight of most of the student body, Blake finally straightened herself, bust running softly up Dana's back and her grip now under Dana's chest.

"Next time, Dana, let me in on the act. The VP can give you soooo much more credence when you play Prez! Plus I would love to see how you fit yourself into Rufie's uniform." Chin on Dana's shoulder, Blake giggled and watched Rufie's retreating figure.

"Speaking of spicy, want to grab a bite to eat? I'm sure we can find an excuse to be intimate with it that neither teachers or Rufie can get jealous about. Spicy food can be messy after all..." biting her lips and letting her artists imagination run wild, Blake tugged on Dana's wrist

"Plus if you accidentally get the uniform dirty we have an excuse to drag you to our room and trying on all of Rufie's clothes together!"

Seyrun Riviathan
St. Hirst Academy, Dining Hall, Midday

"Please, make yourself at home," Seyrun absentmindedly replied to the voice asking to sit beside her without looking up from the newspaper she had. It took her a second to process the information and turn around to face the girl who talked with her. "Oh, you must be Miss Sina Segert, right?" the Nordic girl added after she took a moment to scan her memory.

In the end, it was the air of discipline that hovered around Sina, as if authority exuded from the catchy armband attached to her uniform that gave away her identity to Seyrun.
"I don't think we have ever had the chance to talk like this," Seyrun folded the newspaper and rested it on the table —leaving the news about the mysterious disappearances facing upwards— before getting back to her feet. "I'm Seyrun Riviathan. I'm glad to finally make your acquaintance," she added, before extending her hand.

"Please, make yourself at home," Seyrun repeated herself, this time paying attention to her words while beckoning Sina to take a seat beside hers.

"To what do I owe the pleasure of your company?"

Ramona Herrman

*Gurgle Gurgle...*
The red head awoke suddenly just a few hours after she had passed out. The source of the sound that had brought her back to life was that of her stomach rumbling furiously. It was then that Ramona remembered that she had not had a meal since the night before, when she first boarded the train.

"Hmmm..." She moaned as her eyes slid, glancing at the clock on her nightstand.
It was just a little past noon. According to the schedule she had just recieved, all students should be at the cafeteria eating lunch.
"Perfect." Ray thought happily as she scooted out of bed.

One of her favorite things other than sword play was food. Especially when it came to pasta or dessert. She stood up, walking towards the bathroom in order to get ready to face the public. Her brush sat idly on the bathroom sink. Picking it up, she began to work out horrible knots that she usually got after a good nap. This would be her first day at a normal school. No longer would she be known as the "Captains daughter." Today she was Ramona. A simple highschooler.

She made her way over to the walk in closet the dorm room had offered. It was barren, only approximately one/fourth of it was currently being used. For a moment she stared at her armor, wanting to reach out and put it on like shes always had. It was the first time in years that she would be seen out in public without the metal frame hiding her figure. Taking a deep breath, she moved the armor aside and picked out one of the school uniforms used for chilly weather.

The white button up had been a perfect fit. Her D-cups which were usually hidden, were the only part of her anatomy that had been struggling against the fabric. The shirt had been tucked into her plaid skirt, the hem ending just above her knees. In turn, this made her curvy frame even more apparent. Her hourglass figure only being complimented by the schools mandatory dress code. Accompanying the outfit was a pair of black thigh-highs and dress shoes. The only difference that made her stand out from the rest of the student body, (other than her fiery hair) was her silver sword that hung off of her wide hips.

She knew how odd it must have looked for her to still carry her sword... but she didnt care. Without her armor on Ray felt naked, defenseless even. The sword had been her only comfort and without it, she didnt think she could face social encounters.
After finally being dressed and ready for the days events, Ramona pulled out the map of the school and started heading towards the cafeteria.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After maneuvering her way through the lunch line and loading her tray with a good balance of protein and essential vitamins, Ray stood near the dining halls entrance unsure of what to do next. She looked around for a place to sit but saw no empty tables. Due to her upbringing, she thought it rude to just invite herself to sit among stangers. For a moment she thought about possibly taking her food outside since it was against the rules to eat anywhere other than the cafeteria building.

Unsure of what to do, she simply just stood there like a dumbass.

As Sina put down the tray she listened to Seyrun speak. "Please, make yourself at home," was all that Sina needed to know that she was welcome around the northerner. Sina gave a friendly smile "You are correct. I am Sina Segert, but you may call me Sina." When Seyrun extended her hand, Sina gladly took it replying "No, the pleasure is mine." Though not of noble or rich blood, Sina learned long ago in the Saint Hirst that treating those she met inside the academy with respect and generally being nice to them was a good way go about her day, though Sina could not help but sneak a few peeks at Seyrun's appearance elsewhere and observed her every gesture. Her blue hair was beautiful, Sina had to admit, and so were her other features. Not surprising considering Riviathan's status.

Sina took the invitation to sit down and got comfortable as Seyrun prompted her with "To what do I owe the pleasure of your company?". "Oh, no reason in particular. I just saw a chance to finally meet you in a unofficial situation." Sina admitted. "As you may be aware, a rarely get to interact with those that do not cause trouble or are part of the committee." As she spoke, however, Sina's eyes hovered over the paper briefly, committing it's contents to memory. To say the least, it was interesting. Regardless, Sina waited for Seyrun to continue if she so chose.

Nadalena Kofenstein

Dining Hall, Saint Hirst Academy for Fine Ladies

Now that is over, perhaps the antics can return to an acceptable level.

Following an investigation of her room Nadalena returned to the public chambers and upon the arrival of midday moved appropriately to the dining hall in anticipation of a meal and some sense of regularity. Nadalena wasn’t a first year student, so things were not all that new or strange to her; she knew the schedule and how the cogs in the machine so to speak were going to move. Though with new students there was always the chance that someone was going to do something and throw her estimations out of the window or at least throw them ajar for a temporary moment in time. She was thankful that she could tolerate it.

As she received her plate of food she noticed a girl, hair as warm as the summer sun standing aghast and confused as if she had no idea where to sit. Such hesitation and shyness was befit of a new member of the school, foreign and inexperienced. It would be the perfect moment to posture. Making sure she had a calm and friendly voice Nadalena approached her, she spoke outward as she came up from behind her.

“It’s not as intimidating as it looks, I promise. Come with me if you like, I’m sure there’ll be room.”

Noticing Seyrun at a table not too far away, she decided it was the best place to lead the stray towards and to sit and eat. She wasn’t sure if the girl, dumbstruck as she was, would follow in earnest but she hoped that she wouldn’t just stand still like a doe caught on the approach of a carriage of some sort. It was unbecoming, after all. In the very worst case, Nadalena would be unsuccessful in making a student she did not recognize or know refrain from looking like “a dumbass”. There was also the fact that Nadalena felt like she owed it to Seyrun, if not simply for the fact of expected courtesies, to finish their conversation in the case the Nordic girl wanted to do such a thing -- though Nadalena would have preferred if she could just eat and read, though with the appearance of this red-haired girl that might have been an impossible task. But she was involved now and accepted that burden.

And Kofensteins were very good with accepting burdens.

Ramona Herrman

Just as Ramona was about to leave the dining hall and make her way towards the Academy gardens, a voice from behind spoke.
“It’s not as intimidating as it looks, I promise. Come with me if you like, I’m sure there’ll be room.”
Upon hearing the stranger speak, the red head froze. Her posture tense, ready for battle, ready for anything. In her hometown civilians usually knew better than to sneak up on a knight. The order had trained its students to assume the worst and to be ready for any possible attack.
But she wasn't in the Knights Order.
She was at Saint Hirst Academy.
With the sudden perspective dawning on her, her body relaxed as she turned to assess the intruder. The foreign voice came from a girl around Ramona's own age. A fellow student who stood apart from the others as far as her tone and way of dress. Although unique, Ray had always been a fan of gothic victorian fashion. She seemed proper. Almost as if she had been born of nobility.

Ray raised her eyebrow casually and then gave a half smile.
"Thanks.." The red head replied gratefully.
"I was home schooled as far as academics back at home. So, I am unsure as to the procedure when it comes to public dining."
The response was vague, as she intended it to be. The whole point of transferring to the academy was to leave her well-known background behind. To put on a different persona. A different mask. A different life. The last thing she wanted was for others to know of where she originated and why she had not been used to social customs that were common with women her age.

The pale brunette began walking towards a table were two other girls had been sitting. Without a word, she made herself comfortable by sitting next to the beautiful girl with light brown hair.

Ramona smiled and nodded politely as she sat her tray down on the table. The only acceptable choice as far as seating was the one adjacent to the other student that was present at the table. A stunning foreigner with electric blue hair. Otherwise, it would look rather odd for Ray to choose a chair too far away from the group gathered. Ramona's basic instinct told her something was off about the prim elitist however. Something mysterious that she could not pinpoint.
Unsure of the customs of the world beyond the Order, the warrior sat quietly and began eating her salad. Taking careful bites and attempting to mask the look of uncertainty plastered onto her face.

Tilia Fitzregald

Tilia then went to her designated room, happily skipping along with her fly still open. She was really excited to know whom she would be paired with. Oh, she hoped she would be a beautiful girl. And if she's the shy kind, it would be even better.

Unfortunately for her however, when she arrived, there was nobody there. Judging from the trunk inside the room, it seemed she had arrived here earlier and now had left.

She took a glance at the trunk. She was starting to be tempted to peruse through the thing, just to see what kind of undergarments her roommate liked to wear.

She quickly dismissed the thought however. It would make too much of a bad first experience. She would just sneakily look through her drawers when she was away.

She soon went to the dining hall to get some well-deserved food. She was getting hungry and she could feel her stomach rumbling. However, when she was about to enter the hall, she was halted by the note posted in the door in front of her.

"What's this? Join the Mystery Investigation Society? Hmm, sounds interesting! Perhaps I'll take a look, in case there are pretty girls there,"she said with a smirk.
