@KoL The key to it is that the magnetism is due to "corrupted magic", meaning holy or anti-magic backed attacks penetrate right on through. Aka, it's another in my series of "Angels that are actually good at fighting demons (Pink), Demons that are good at fighting Machina (Atarah). So, yes, it can EXACTLY be penetrated by magic, like Omega's being a ghost or Victoire's bat form.
It also works specifically against metals and lasers, so, if you want to punch (unless you're made of metal), hit with wood (because your bonesword), use fire, excetera. There's a ton of physical attacks that penetrate it. It does grant her extreme resistance (not outright immunity) against a very common subset of attacks for machina to use, but most of the Angels who use swords have holy enchantments on them. And a not insignificant amount of Machina use holy swords too, actually (Shizuka, Grafdakka, Bonesword). Granted, the actual toughness of her skin works against everything, but in the Nexus, being tough will only prevent you from evaporating into a fine mist when hit, not necessarily save you from damage.
As for the the To Go Even Further, I think it would work at full strength on someone within melee range, and then drop off pretty heavily over about 25-100 meters. It's meant to draw off the energy of people she's fighting with/against, not allow her to hide in a corner and siphon energy from the whole battlefield.
