In the heart of DC there is a new agency being established. Not much is known about it by most of the world. Even those in the government know much about it. This organization was established to help supernaturals blend in with humans. It also regulates those that normal officials can not.

Griffin stormed into the building. He was having a bad morning. He was still trying to separate himself from his father's pack. But it was harder than he thought it would be. Now he had to deal with a team meeting. He loved working for the BoSa. But he wasn't really a team player. He had no experience doing it. Most packs thrived on working together the one he grow up in wasn't like that. They were expected to be able to survive on their own.

He pulled out his badge and swiped it so that the door would unlock and let him in. He nodded to the guard as he passed. The building was set up like most government facilities. Few people knew everything that happened within the walls of the building. Which was fine with Griffin he had no desire to announce what he did. He had joined to make sure that the weak and defenseless were protected.

Billy

It was the break of dawn. Just as Billy was planning to hit the hay after a tiresome patrol last night, he remembers something very important to do today. "Oh, right! the team meeting is today!" Billy gasps and notices the ray of sunlight shining to his face from the alleyway he was in.

"No rest for the wicked I suppose" He sighed while brushing off traces of alien blood from last night's scuffle from his metallic baseball bat. The boy hops on his bike and pedals his way into the busy streets, grabbing a box of donuts along the way towards work. Billy made it into the headquarters just in time, slapping the haggard look on his face with his hands and prepares himself to look a bit presentable. "Well, duty calls," Billy walks with a focused look on his face. He greeted the guard and offered him some donuts along the way.He swipes his badge and enters the facility where he will met with the rest of the crew.

Well somebody woke up in the wrong side of the bed this morning Billy thought to himself as he walks in with a coffee at hand, noticing the muscular agent in the building, he seemed to troubled by the look on his face. "I suppose you're here for the team meeting as well..You're Griffin right?"

If was a long night, a lot of paper work, a Mage had held a building hostage and caused most of them to have amnesia. As Argo slowly awakened he realised he was still at his desk... at HQ... starved, he stood and walked towards one of the vending machines to see if there were any peanuts he could buy, there were but he Seemed to have misplaced his wallet, a great start to the morning.

He walked towards the foier where he saw a black and blue pouch on the ground, bingo, that's his wallet, though, just before he could grab it two people, a burly man and a boy, stepped in his path.
"Scuse me..." he said while on all fours, reaching between their legs.

Cal laid on the bed waiting for the alarm clock, he had requested to go off and alert him to go to the meeting spot for his new team. It was very difficult as excitement raced over where he assumed his flesh would be. At any moment the alarm clock would go off! How exciting this time period was with all of these new modern amenities! In stark contrast, his old, somewhat yellowing bones, held together by some of the most complex laws of magic was merely a tiny footnote in history. The phalanges tapped against the almost entirely unused bed, the soft blankets muffling what would have been a noise most mortals would have found disturbing. The alarm sounded at long last, and Cal rose with alarming speed raising his hands up into the air with victory. "I am not a lazybones!" This, he yelled at a nearby camera in the corner of the room, not an easy task without lungs.

Cal lived in the same building where he worked, the Bureau of Supernatural Affairs building as an agent of the S-Division. He was not supposed to actually exit the building unless on a sanctioned mission or with approval from the higher ups. Something along the lines of not causing a situation like the last time or such. Cal didn't mind though, anything was better than that ghastly tomb he had left behind. What had his past self been thinking? Though, he thought somewhat more somberly, he could ask the same for a lot of different things. Coming back to the situation, he tossed on several clothes that were filled with cotton to give the appearance of fleshed out figure as well as a large scarf, black wig, sunglasses held up by wire, and a baseball cap. A rudimentary disguise that wouldn't succeed as prolonged inspection, but good enough to fool the casual observer.

Cal walked out through his doors and into the area his team had been designated to meet. Stopping by the kitchen, he grabbed a coffee mug and filled it with dry coffee beans and then continued forward. Briefly looking around, his eye sockets came to rest on an odd sight. Three mortals together, two standing and one on all fours reaching through their legs. "Blink." He said this out loud for all to hear. "Is this a new traditional form of greeting amongst you mortals? Truly I am behind the times, what a bonehead I am!" He grinned.

Azeal and Sora

"We can only hope our team does us more good in the actual football season... then they've showed in the pre-season. And that's it for Sports. In other national news, Police have received reports of yet another violent murder found in the Big Apple earlier in the morning, and have suspected it to be one of the reported "Immaculate Murders" that's been happening as of late across the country, brought on by the Serial Killer known only as "The Vampire". The victim this time was one Dean Silvers, a prime businessman who was vice president of communications within a local IT company New York City, and well-known Political Lobbyist. Police estimate the time of Death being around 1 AM this morning at a hotel room he was staying in. So far, like other cases, there have been no clue as to the suspect of this gruesome murder. However, the police across the country are working around the clock to find and capture him before another kill happens. A warning has been issued to the surrounding cities and state near Manhattan, including our town of Washington DC, to be advised to be cautious, and if you anything suspicious, to contact your local authorities. ...In the local news, Senator-"

Before the sentence was finished, the TV was shut off. Black gloves holding the remote that turned it off, as the black-haired man with the gloves sighed. He was watching the TV in the lounge of the building, standing beside the couch which was completely occupied by a certain sleeping Demon Lord...Still asleep in his black suit, the standard federal agent uniform, the black overcoat not even off him.

Much like Cal, Both Azeal and Sora lived in the HQ rather than having an apartment somewhere in the city. Unlike Cal, it wasn't because of their appearance, considering they look more 'living' than Cal did. (Which is ironic in Sora's case.) Instead, they simply chose to live there for their own reasons.

Though, perhaps in Sora's case "living" at the HQ likely isn't the best way to put it. It's more accurate to say that he's usually nomadic and simply doesn't "have" a place to actually stay. He has a room in the HQ, but no reason to use it. Sora's job as a Reaper prompts him the need to be active 24/7 in an event where someone is going to die, and with that kind of criteria, he and his siblings are always on duty. Because of this, he usually visits hospitals and hospices often so as to be there to pass souls along when their time comes. Of course, he has a Pager on him so that the BoSA would be able to contact him for missions they need him for, at which he makes one of his siblings take over the reaper duties for him. Which is actually why he came back here at this moment, so as to be there for this meeting.

As for Azeal, He lives in the HQ simply because he feels it better that way. He owes the BoSA for helping him out of his predicament, and feels he should be within the vicinity of the building and its people in the event something comes up that requires his attention. Plus, there's the fact that he has made several enemies in the past. He tries to live a life outside of this, there's no telling what'd happen to any neighbors who'd get caught in the crossfire. At least here in the BoSA HQ, he's surrounded by Agents who are capable of fighting back, so he doesn't have that same worry.

That being said, anybody with some experience regarding Azeal's...sleeping tendencies knows of an unwritten and unspoken rule: When Azeal is sleeping on the couch, find somewhere else to sit. When you want to wake the demon, ensure you know your fire safety protocols. Sora, looking at his watch for the time, was about to test this out, with the remote in one hand, and a 10 inch frying pan in the other. He took a deep breath, readying himself for what's about to happen, and began slamming the remote against the Pan, purposefully making a loud sound.

"Time to wake up, Azeal...We got a meeting to get to." Sora said, as he continued. Azeal's eyes tightened in annoyance of the loud whacking sounds waking him up, as a white ball of flames appeared in his hand. He pushed it out towards the source of the sound, the ball turning into a small stream of flames heading for Sora. Immediately, Sora stopped and held the back of the frying pan in front of him as a shield against the flames. The front of the pan had a lid locked into it as what appeared to be Eggs inside the pan was starting to get cooked thanks to the flames that were hitting the pan. The stream lasted for about 5 seconds and then stopped as Azeal clenched his fist, now smoking from the spewed flames.

While Azeal then got up from his lying position, yawning and stretching as he stood up from the couch, Sora placed the pan in front of him and unlocked the lid, revealing the now fried eggs.

"...Perhaps slightly overdone, but still turned out well, I think." Sora said to himself.

"The hell you even cooked for? You don't eat." Azeal asked him.

"Indeed, however, I felt I should make use of your constant flame throwing to my advantage for a method of conveniance. A pan is made to absorb flames heating them from underneath so as to cook whatever's inside, I figured it would make a good flame-absorbant shield, as well as quicker method of cooking. A test that proved quite well, all things considered. That aside, I figured our newer acquaintances would have need for breakfast during our meeting." Sora explained, in a rather monotone voice, and with no smile, as if he was akin to a robot. Azeal, on the other hand, looked at Sora as if he just said something akin to his socks tasting good.

"...A pan...? Walking up in front of me and using a pan to shield you, and make eggs. ...Are all Reapers this mental or were you just some kind of self-destructive defect? ...Look, you're lucky I wasn't using my good flames, so next time just get out of the way like everyone else. Also, 'newer' acquaintances? We've seen these guys all the time, it's just that apparently now the higher ups decided to team us all up for some reason." Azeal said, sighing as he straightened out his suit. Sora simply nodded as he checked the eggs with a fork.

"So, where's the meeting at?" Azeal asked as he began to walk out of the lounge, the Reaper following suit.

"I believe they're currently at the Foyer by now." Sora responded as he followed him.

"I see, and remind me again who these 'teammates' are?" Azeal asked.

"Two gifted humans, a werewolf and...a lich..." Sora said, a hint of disgust spewing out that last word as the grip on the pan tightened.

"And a Reaper, and a Demon Lord. Of all the agents they could've picked to team them up with, it just HAD to be us. Wouldn't be surprised if they wanted to strike us down on sheer principal, not that I'd blame them. ...One of them's that kid with the Exorcist bat, right?"

"Yes, one Detective Billy."

"You know him?"

"I've never physically met him before, but I've heard about his situation."

Walking as they discussed this, they made it to the Foyer where they saw the other members of their team. Sora in particular looked at Cal with a great disdain. While he neutralized his facial emotions, his fist were still clenched while the hand holding the pan's handled tightened its grip.

"...Hey there. ...So I guess the higher-ups made us a team. ...Is this all of us, a 6-man team?" Azeal asked them all.

"And would any of you care for some breakfast?" Sora asked afterwards, extending the pan full of fried eggs.

Griffin glared at the younger man who approached him. He was still working on his social skills. It was one of reasons that the higher ups insisted that he be placed on this team. They thought it would help him build the skills most werewolves grow up with. He wasn't looking forward to dealing with others. Mostly because most of them had magic that he had no protection from. He wasn't looking forward to being low man on the totem pole.

He was about to return the other man's greeting when a second man appeared. The new arrival dropped to all fours and reached between their legs. Griffin reacted without thought. It was never a good idea to get into a werewolves personal space without permission. Especially one with a past as dark as his. He grabbed the human by the collar of his shirt and lifted him up. He bared his teeth at the younger man. "What the hell do you think you are doing?"

"Now, now i'm sure there's a good reason why he's on the floor like that" Billy winced, panicky waving his hands, trying reason with the burly dude grabbing the man on the floor by the neck, hoping to defuse this tense situation.

"Judging by the way he acted, I think he's looking for something.." The young detective assumed. "now, how about we forget all of this and grab some breakfast like agent Sorra suggested huh? huh?" Billy said with an uneasy smile, still trying lighten up the tension in the room.

That's strange, I sense a powerful soul nearby Billy thought to himself after momentarily looking at the new arrivals. it could be any one of them, it's hard to tell I mean most of them aren't even humans after all.

"Crash and burn, young and loaded"

It was a terrible. A disaster. Practically the apocalypse!

Today was Ruby's first time meeting her team and she was late. She absolutely had to make a good first impression on her first day as a full-fledged member of the S-Division, but she had gotten homesick the night before and called her mother, and of course they talked for a long time, and then her brothers came home from a soccer game, so she had to talk to them too, and the time just got away from her! She ended up going to bed so late that she slept through her alarm.

After she noticed the time and frantically flailed out of bed, she got dressed in record time, even replacing her usual flannel with a dark green bomber jacket (because she wanted to look nice, of course). She didn't have enough time to tie up her hair, so she bundled it all under a beanie, hoping she would have time to do it once she got to work (hopefully before Akko woke up).

Ruby practically flew out of her apartment and raced toward the headquarters, narrowly dodging various pedestrians and almost getting hit by multiple cars. She eventually reached her destination, quickly swiping her badge and running like The Flash himself through the halls. She remembered her hair and started trying to tie it up.

She noticed a group of people, and shortly after, noticed that they were the people she was looking for. Before she could knock them over like bowling pins, she skidded to a stop, her sneakers squeaking on the floor. She stared at the group of men, quickly becoming aware of her appearance. She was sloppily-dressed, clearly sleep-deprived, with only half of her hair tied into one single pigtail, and the other half moving around and trying to pull her in some other direction.

"Hi! Ruby Leoz. Nice to meet you all!"

So much for making a good first impression.

"Sorry, just looking for my wallet...", he yawned and looked around, a crowd had formed, nice. "Can someone get this guy off of me so I can pick up my wallet.", his vision de blurred and a flurry of lights and images entred his mind through his eyes, everyone around him seemed to be powerful supernatural beings. "Oh no, don't tell me, you're all here because of that team the higher ups made.", Argo struggled with the grip of the werewolf.

Cal noted the sudden apparent shift in dynamic between the mortals with interest. It seemed the wolf mortal had not accepted the human mortals ground based greeting and seemed quite upset with the mortal. Overall a quite interesting show! At the same time the demon character came along with Sora, the reaper. Cal had been quite intrigued to learn more of this, being by simply his basic nature a being that no doubt violated most tenets of the laws laid down by their kind. The quick look of disdain Sora cast him was disappointing, but also to be expected. He looked around for something to say and his sockets settled on Billy's metallic bat. The thing nearly hummed with divine energies.

"Oh how clever of the administration! Look they included a member of this team with a perfect weapon to destroy my body with!" Cal pointed at Billy eagerly. "Quite brilliant actually! A good preventative measure if I ever have any problems later down the road. Oh, also you all may call me Cal. I like bone based humor, the concept of Halloween, cooking shows, I am an ancient creature of the blackest magics, and really interested in history! Also quite happy to meet you all! Cal grinned at them all, essentially the only expression he ever had on. Then poured of the coffee bean in his mug between his teeth. Several of the beans clinked against his spine and ribcage as they fell down to the ground.

Cal turned as a new mortal approached, this one female, and introduced herself as Ruby. Cal watched as the girls hair unbound on one side was moved on its own accord, seemingly attempting to move her somewhere. Cal removed his wig, revealing the bald bone at the top of his skull, and offered it to the girl. "Trade you!"

Griffin growled as the human struggled in his group. He glared at those around him. He didn't care what they thought. The higher ups might think working with these people would help him but he wasn't as sure. They hadn't prove themselves in any way. Still he had promised that he would give them a chance. He put the human down as hard as he could. He kicked the man's wallet as hard as he could. "Stay out of my personal space." He growled.

"I don't eat breakfast." Griffin told the other man. He sighed at the girl who happily greeted them. A fragile girl was the last thing that he needed. What were the higher ups thinking? They couldn't be serious about her being part of the group. She was looked too fragile to survive their world. "What the he'll are you doing here little one? You don't belong here."

Azeal and Sora

Azeal and Sora looked on as Griffon looked ready to punch out Argo for his...wallet shenanigans. The two remaining silent with Sora nodding to Billy as he tried to ease up the situation.

"Ehh, Yep. Basically." Azeal responded to Argo's question.

The two then saw as Cal introduced himself to those not knowing of him...Though in Azeal's eyes, Cal stands out quite particularly so it's hard to believe that anyone with experience in this place wouldn't have known or at least seen him before.

It was at this time that they saw someone else walk into the Foyer area, a girl with a clearly unprofessional attire and look. The poor chick looks like she just ran off to this place right after getting out of bed, without anything in between the two events. Needless to say, it wasn't a very good first impression of herself as a rookie, as Azeal's right eyebrow was raised...But it wasn't at her. It was at the Werewolf who just decided to speak out against this.

"Griffin, that's not for you to decide. Boss gave her to us for a reason, it would be wise to at least give her a chance to show why." Sora coldly said to Griffin, almost emotionless like a robot, uncaring of the wolf's bad mood. Azeal agreed silently with what Sora was saying, but he also agreed with Griffin despite this. Like the wolf-boy said, compared to the rest of them, this chick certainly didn't look like she'd be the type to throw into a fight with the kind of things they keep from bumping in the night. But then again, at least two of the others were clearly humans, whereas at least she seems to have telepathic hair. ...Whether she can use it in other ways than making it float, or if she even had control over it since it seems to be trying to pull her head off in a specific direction, is another matter entirely. At the very least, despite the first impressions, she doesn't look like the weakest link of the team.

"So...You're the new recruit I heard about. Boss said there'd be one in our team. ...Name's Azeal. The pan holster next to me is Sora. I'm gonna go ahead and assume you've been briefed about what this place is all about, I'd appreciate skipping the boring stuff after all." Azeal bluntly told her.

Just as the young detective thought the hostility with Griffin was about to cease after putting Argo down, The werewolf sets his eyes and confronts the new girl. Looks like the powerhouse of our team is a loose cannon, acting all Alpha on us and not to mention being a jerk to everyone, I'm not surprised, He is a werewolf after all and it is his nature. This messy looking girl, she seems she has a serious scalp condition from the way her hair twitch, haven't seen her profile yet but I'm sure there's a good reason why a rookie skyrocketed into the big leagues. I'm sure she can hold her own. Its best to stay neutral, I'm sure the higher ups are watching this unfold. Billy thought to himself as the Reaper deals with burly guy's attitude. this should be interesting

"looks like I need more coffee to start this morning...dealing with the aliens last night is much easier than this." Billy sighed and went to the expresso machine. The boy suddenly stops at the puddle of caffeine. Dammit, such a waste of good coffee. It's that skeleton agent. Cal, kinda reminds me of my partner back in the force.. comical in a weird sort of way and if was a walking skeleton. Billy smiled and waits for his cup to be filled. As the young boy went back to the rest of the team, Billy notices the man's missing wallet along the way and picks it up.

"Hey, found your wallet- you ok man?" Billy said with a coffee at hand and offered Argo's wallet back.

"I can fit two people under my skin"

Ruby had apparently walked into a very odd situation. Of the six men who would be on her team, one of them was holding another by the collar, one was holding a pan of eggs, and one appeared to be a skeleton. It’s not like she wasn’t making it any weirder, though, as she tried to wrangle her misbehaving hair into place.

Once her hair was tamed, Akko grabbed a “hand”-ful of eggs and ravenously ate them. This finally managed to calm it down, at least for now. With her hair lying flat again, Ruby collected herself and changed her demeanor from Flustered Ruby to Competent Adult Ruby.

Ruby chuckled at the skeleton’s offer to trade, “It’s normally not this bad; I just didn’t eat this morning.”

She deflated a little at the aggressive guy’s comment, but was relieved that Egg Guy seemed to be in her corner.

“Hey, I may not be able to take you in a fight, but I’m not helpless!” She protested with an easy smile, hoping her insecurity wasn’t noticeable.

She was quick to follow Azeal’s subject change, “Yep, I know the whole deal. We can skip the boring part!”

Ruby addressed the whole group, “So, like I said, I’m Ruby, and this,” she turned around and showed off her second mouth, licking its chops after its meal, “is Akko!”

"Hey, uh, any eggs left for me?" He asked sora who was holding out that pan of eggs, "I'm sure that in all of the underworld you'd be able to spare a mouthful for me.", Argo straightened his clothes after that thrilling ordeal before pocketing his wallet, "thanks." he sighed and looked around the room, so many supernaturals, unnaturals, "a bone man, two demons, a werewolf and another human. I should quit while I have the chance cause this group is bound to end up in the worst situation I can think of, god I thought this was more about forensics..."

Griffin was an alpha and they were his pack. They were his responsibility. He had to make sure that they survived and got the job done. He bared his teeth at Sora. "The higher ups made this group my responsibility. They think it will be good for me to have a pack and they decide it will be this grpup. Which make the chick here our weakness member. The humans have files to prove they can survive the things we have to face. She doesn't. I doubt that she has even been on the field. Just because she had the skills and abilities to make the cut doesn't mean she has the skills to use them yet. I need to know protection she needs so that we can plan around her. I'm willing to give her a chance. But she will have to prove herself."

He meant it. He would do give her a chance. But he didn't think she was strong enough to be on her own. Although that was sort of the point. They were a park. They were suppose to cover each other's weaknesses. He was sure she could do something he couldn't. "If everyone is here we should head up. I'm sure they want us to do a team building exercise before we head out."

PLX-395

PLX-395 awoke as a dose of stimulant was administered to his cerebrum via a long, thin needle. The needle came from the thick cable that attached him to the make shift sleep pod he had fashioned for himself. It was composed mostly of cushions and a life support system he had managed to salvage from his crashed escape pod. They were the only parts he had managed to salvage, save for large pieces of the pods casing and shields. He had used these to form the sleep pod itself. He pressed some buttons on a key pad to disengage the life support before pulling the cable from the base of his skull. Using large plastic buttons to activate sensors that then relayed information to a computer seemed rather primitive to him, but it was what he had, so he had used it.

PLX-395 tapped the buttons some more, a mist raising out of the grated floor the sleep pod was built on top of. This mist was not millions of nano-bots programmed to eradicate any foreign contaminant that may have slipped in while he was unconscious, but rather a simple acidic gas whose chemical composition was specifically calculated to dissolve most foreign contaminants without harming his highly sensitive, membranous skin. He tapped some more buttons and several sets of mechanical arms emerged, dressing him in his standard issue Zilnaxxian tech uniform, the only clothing he had ever worn. Two aperatures opened behind him, one at head level, one near the middle of his back. Out of the first, a curved piece of metal with sensors on one side was connected into the same access port the life support had just been in. Out of the second came a large item resembling a metal back pack. It screwed into the access port in his spine, just behind his ribcage. Placing two fingers over the sensor at the side of his head, he activated his uniforms remote life support systems.

Only once this entire process was over did PLX-395 press the larger, round button opposite the main key pad. The door to his sleep pod lifted upward, releasing the remnants of the acidic mist into the small office PLX-395 knew as his quarters. He slid his middle finger across the sensor, causing several small screens to flicker into existence just in front of his eyes. He glanced at them briefly before shutting them off again. He walked over to and stood on a small circular disc. Typing the final sequence into the final key pad, he disappeared. In an instant, he had left his cramped office and was now in the Bureau of Extraterrestrial Affairs.

Half an hour later, he arrived at their other branch's location. He had had to borrow one of the Bereau's cloaking mechanisms to make the trip, but it seemed to be worth it, for the moment he walked through the door his scanners began indicating the presence of several creatures that did not register as homo sapiens. He approached the group, disabling the cloaking device. "Please pardon my tardiness." He began. "I am PLX-395. The Bureau of Extraterrestrial Affairs has transfered me to this, the Bureau of Supernatural Affairs. It would seem that I am to accompany a team of humans and non-humans, as my skills and technology would be invaluable to their missions. Am I correct in assuming that this is that team?"

"It's messed up? I cannot keep up with fashion trends nowadays, so I thought it might have been groovy." Cal put the wig into a coat pocket only to withdraw a long, straight red haired wig that he put on instead. "You will have to show me later, how to style my hair to get the mouth that eats things, I mean look at me I'm practically skin and bones! Well bones anyway." Cal opened his jaw wide and angled it at the ceiling. "LAUGH LAUGH GUFFAW GUFFAW," he loudly said. Again the lack of lungs presented many issues in Cal's, very similar to, life.

Cal listened as Griffin, the werewolf leader of this group of mortals, angrily berated Ruby for what seemed like being Ruby. Seeing his anger, Cal sadly put aside of the idea of gifting the leader with one of his bones as a welcome present. It did not seem like the kind of gesture that this man would appreciate. His anger though was rather confusing to Cal on the whole though, it seemed the man was already in a bad mood before Ruby came in. Cal noted that he would have to find some way of reducing the man's tension. Perhaps a walk? Cal almost missed it when the other mortal called him a bone man, but began to pay attention again just in time. "Bone man? Ha! Dear sir, I am a skeleton man! Oh I remember the days I would have ripped your soul from your body and devoured it for such a comment. Although given my atrocious former behavior, I may have done that regardless..." Cal delivered this rather horrifying statement with an air of thoughtful delight.

"Anyway Ruby, you are going to be a superb agent! I super believe in you!" Cal lifted his thumb towards the ceiling in a way that apparently meant a positive signal in this time. The end point of this gesture was not quite certain yet so Cal extended his arm up as far as it could go, assuming the higher the arm, the truer the sincerity. Quite curious all these new customs to learn!

"Time for team building! Huzzah!" Cal saw the spaceman then and stared. He had no idea what this was. And it talked even! Astounding!

Azeal and Sora

Sora said nothing as Griffin showed him his teeth and spoke. Needless to say, it seems his comment got him on the Werewolf's bad side, which was fine for Sora; compared to the verbal attacks he seems to get by the living on a near-daily basis, a werewolf correcting him and essentially declaring himself above everyone else was nothing that couldn't be handled. Although the feeling was quite mutual, as Griffin spoke as if he was designated their leader off the bat. Considering his personality, Sora highly doubts the responsibility of "leadership" was the aspect they felt he needed help with when forming this team. Still, if this is what the higher-ups demanded, for Griffin to be leader of this team, then Sora will abide by their decision. That, plus it did seem like he was willing to give her a chance as he said anyways. This in mind, he immediately backed out of a potential stand-off and left it at that, putting his focus back on the team as a whole.

"Ah, a Futakuchi-onna. That explains the bad hair day." Azeal said to her.

"A Futakuchi-onna?" Sora asked, extending his pan to Argo so that he may also eat up some eggs.

"A Yokai basically...well, more like a human-turned-Yokai. It's a common curse for women in Japan. Don't remember how you are suppose to get it though, I hear so much bullshit with myths that it's hard to filter out the truth from fiction. They have a second mouth that controls the hair like limbs, and would be able to use them like whips, or at least that's what I heard. ...Still, gotta agree with Wolf-boy on this one. Unless that hair's the stuff of nightmares for a barber, it's hard to think up an effective use for it...in combat I mean." Azeal explained. He then listened to Argo's..."concerns" regarding if he should be on this team at all.

"Tch, relax kid. You'll be fine. They put you and the actual kid in this team for a reason." Azeal said to him, not only ignoring the fact that Argo isn't a kid, but blatantly pointing out how he knows Argo's an adult by mentioning Billy as the "actual kid".

"I would also like to point out, I'm not a demon, I'm a reaper." Sora added, raising his gloved hand to the side of his face as he did, as if requesting for an opening to be heard. They both then heard Griffin telling them to head up for some potential team-building exercises, much to Azeal's annoyance as he sighed.

"Understood." Sora simply said to Griffin as he walked back up the stairs, ignoring the words of the Lich as he states what his past self was like, further clenching a fist, holding back the urge to summon his deathscythe to cut the undead down where he stood. What snapped him out of the frustration was hearing another voice he did not recognize, turning around to see the alien presence. Azeal also looked at this "PLX-395" thing as he explained his reason for coming there, which, needless to say, left the demon lord perplexed.

"...Uh-huh...First off, As far as I'm concerned, your new name is "Plex". If anyone else wants to call you by a serial number, more power to them, but I'm not gonna waste time doing so. Secondly, welcome. Thirdly, now in addition to a Demon Lord, a Reaper, a Werewolf, a Yokai, Mr. Bones, and two humans, we got an alien directly from MiB involved. ...Anyone bothered to ask the higher-ups what this team is about?" Azeal asked. When it was announced he and Sora were being transferred to being in this team, he didn't bother questioning it. It was two humans, a werewolf, a demon, and a reaper as far as he knew, then he found out yesterday that Cal was going to be a part of this team as well. A bit of an odd addition, but he didn't question it. Now there was a Yokai named Ruby and now a techno-alien sent from MiB. NOW things were starting to feel unusual about all of this.

”The future, it’s coming on.“

Ruby sobered up at Griffin’s words, “I understand your reservations. I know I’ve got a lot to prove, but I promise I won’t let you down.”

The skeleton’s words of encouragement made her grin, “Thanks. I really appreciate it.”

She nodded at Azeal’s accurate description of her condition, “Yep! That’s right. The funny thing is I’m not even Japanese!” she chuckled, “I can actually control these babies alright, as long as Akko isn’t hungry.” She moved one of her pigtails into a gesture approximating a thumbs-up to prove her point.

She turned to start walking with the rest, but was stopped by the appearance of a new person, an alien who introduced himself as PLX-395.

“Hi! I’m Ruby. Nice to meet you!”

She was suddenly reminded of the fact that she didn’t know everyone’s names yet. She turned to the skeleton and the two humans.

“So, I don’t think I caught you guys’ names.”
