@DriveEMOut LOL we are currently try to work that out. Most want a Medieval setting but I am not sure that is possible. I don't know enough about that to run a pretend city.

Age: 20

Name: Reeve Thybaut

Nickname/Alias: The Crow

Gender: Male

Personality: Despite Reeve being a former noble, he has just as many street smarts as a criminal who's grown up in the slums. He is typically cold, calculating, and has a complete disregard for the lives of anyone he doesn't care about, which means he hasn't met a single person whose death he's been sad about. After his fortune was torn away from him, Reeve wanted revenge against those who ruined him more than anything else. This sometimes lead to illogical behavior, such as rushing into action, killing someone who harbored useful information, etc.

Biography: Up until Reeve's 11th birthday, he lived a carefree, happy life. Entertainment whenever he wanted it, presents almost constantly, not to mention he could whatever, whenever. However, on that fateful day, the bank came to Reeve and his family. Their money was gone, and they were seeking repossession of the family manor. Despite his parent's protests, they were kicked to the streets. They didn't have any life skills, because they thought they didn't need any. That winter, his entire family was killed by hypothermia. It was that day that Reeve's heart hardened, like ice. At least he learned something. "The more crutches you have, the more it hurts when they're kicked out from under you."

Skills: He has a cold deposition when it comes to what has to be done, and will perform any action without hesitation. This can be a blessing or a curse. He is also very manipulative, and strikes fear into most. Since he was a noble once, he knows how people act, how they think. Most of all, he knows their weaknesses. He also has a photographic memory and is very manipulative.

Equipment: Dagger, Crossbow, and a bit of poison to dip his bolts in.

@SantosGabriel77 so are a couple other people's. If we do a medieval setting I will be making up alot as we go. I'm fine either way. Right now we have a communication problem with that setting. We need to iron it out. Plus i have no idea how Roxy would fit in a medieval setting without ally of creativity.

@KatherinWinter Hmm ok I might be pushing it with this next idea, but looks like we've got to assume that all lookouts are positioned at really favourable spots. Perhaps we could relay information in a chain by hand signals or something? (Also assuming all hiding spots allow everyone to be close enough to one another for that at least) I'm thinking of one of the fighters signalling to a lookout from a side window, maybe, after taking out the initial security and the lookout then signalling for the thieves to move in. The fighters can stand guard during the looting in case more security arrives to investigate. Yeah we'll be assuming a lot and it sounds super convenient, but hope it helps a little lol.

@Raptra that could work if everyone is in sight. Which they aren't always going to be. I'm thinking a group like this has to be in a large city. The lookout shouldn't be too far out. But we fobt want them scattered either. I'm thinking one in each direction. [I believe we have at least 4.] With the security people somewhere between the outlooks and the buildings. Again one in each direction. [Again I believe we have at least 4]. The thieves should approach from different directions.

@KatherinWinter I can see the communication problem, obviously we want to be able to talk quickly but perhaps if there are a short list of signals. Noises travel best (no line of sight problems and people could repeat them) but you aren't going to be able to talk a lot during the heist, only to warn people to run or something.

Magic or modern are both good solutions but we might have people wanting to change characters with those things involved.

It will probably just have to be well planned out before hand, scoping everything out for a few nights before, watching guards and stuff.

@KatherinWinter or perhaps some sound that is expected. I could have Annie out on the streets selling ales and she could call out different things to pass certain messages on. Would have to be only certain things like that guards were close, retreat or something like that but it probably wouldn't be too unusual if she's pushing her ale cart around anyway.
