So, I just thought of something. This is the supernatural branch of the bureau, but it is still the same bureau that deals with aliens. So, could I make an alien?

@AllHollowsEve it's not the same branch. It's like a subdivision. The alien branch sort of stumbled onto supernatural and had no idea what to with the ones causing trouble. I suppose one of the early members could be an alien but I would need a reason to transfer him/her.

Well, I was planning on giving him a bunch of alien tech. Some of it could be used to detect paranormal activities, like ghost hunting equipment. It would also make it so that there's still a functional non-human in the group if an enemy has a way to counter magic. Plus, the group doesn't really have a tech savvy character yet, and alien is the perfect fit for that role.

@AllHollowsEvethat could work. Alien would be more familiar with the tech. Especially if they invented it.

Well, he's supposed to be one of those aliens that are so technologically superior that they are completely dependent on it. They don't reproduce, they just grow more of themselves in vats, so they're kind of a clone race. Each Zilnaxxian is grown for a couple of weeks in a tube, genetically engineered for a specific purpose. PLX-395 does his job, cause that's what he was grown to do, but it's not like he follows programming or something. He's still got squishy organs, he still needs to eat, he is still a creature, he's just from a technologically superior, totalitarian race of jar babies. As far as his age goes, he may only have been alive for a little over a year, but he was grown as an adult in a matter of weeks. He's been an adult for about a year now, so mentally, he's in his early twenties.

@AllHollowsEve I don't know much about this kind of race. But it seems like he would be very limited. He wouldn't be able to think outside the box. Why would he be on Earth a planet known not to be very technology advanced?

@KatherinWinterWell, he doesn't want to be on Earth, this is just where he crashed. Since he can't get back, and he doesn't have any where else to go, he may as well stay here. Plus, the fact that Earth is primitive by his standards gives him purpose. He has things to upgrade, things to repair. It also provides him with something he's never experienced, learning. He knew everything he'd ever need to know from the start of his life. Now he's stranded on an alien planet that operates by completely different rules.

He is kind of limited in his thinking. His thought processes are very rigid and structured, but that's one of the things that makes him feel less human. He's practical and logical, but not very emotional. He's not devoid of emotion, he gets frustrated if something he just fixed is broken, he feels satisfaction knowing he did a good job, etc. He's kind of supposed to get more human over time, which is maybe why he was put on a team, instead of just being kept around to fix and upgrade stuff.

@KatherinWinterHe's supposed to feel kind of like Martian Manhunter, but with technology instead of psychic powers.
