Also, established a bit of Harpy Lore. Specifically, most harpies have a subtype (granted by the environment that they grew up in contributing by giving them the subtype via what birds would exist there) that influences what their abilities are. Of the current three PC harpies, Eve is a phoenix (Growing up in Hell surrounded by ash and lava), Maceroy is a raven (intelligent birds that could easily be found in urban places), and Atarah is a dodo (extinct, grew up around the underworld).

Edit: She actually usurped Abigail's position as my main Heaven fighter, which I'm okay with.

I guess you are welcome back. That said, Sliske will have to find somewhere else to conquer, giving the current state of affairs of the Nexus and of Hell itself.

Also, yes, he's not even close to being the most hated Demon, much less the most hated character in the whole RP. If you really want to have Sliske earn so much of everyone's dislike, you should do so through IC actions. Show, don't tell, y'know.

Also, two more announcements to everyone.

First, I may, if chance permit, do a post for the Happyverse tomorrow or Thursday. Victoire and Farris are really only going to do something this Saturday.

Second, after analyzing the current state of the RP for sometime, we have decided that no one in the Machina side will be gaining any more cross-faction powers/power ups for the time being. They are already too imbalanced as is, Just look at how many holy/demonic sources of power they have in their faction, so anything new coming to their side much be Machina related (ie: weak to Demons). We can, at our own discretion, verify cross-faction powers/power-ups on a case by case basis and decide if they are legal or not but, as a guideline, the answer is more likely to be no.

This is valid to the other factions in a smaller degree as well. Cross-faction abilities and characters are going to be far more scrutinized from now on, to avoid the situation we are in at the moment, with the Machina faction.

When was that? As far as I recall, Sliske never ever did anything worthy of note, for his whole stay in the RP. Unless, you count rage quitting as being noteworthy.

Just name one significant feat that he ever did.

Basically, characters left the Nexus and went to the Happyverse, a happy place that isn't the nexus.

Also, Eve is still the only PC harpy that fights for heaven, not including Syphax. Maceroy fights for the Machina (and is Eve's father from a forever ago), and Atarah fights for Hell.

Edit - Whoo boy, that's an awkward family reunion.

Also, I hope that you are aware now, that the harpies never ever did anything for Celestia except producing a lot of betrayers (or at least noteworthy ones), if the PC ratio is any indication of that. In your absence, we had a lot of discussion about their race and the kind of impression we have of it as GMs. The best advice I can give you at this moment is... thread lightly.

Well if that's the case, I wanna explain something: I've had nothing to do with any of this for the past three months so I have no idea what you're talking about.

What I do know is that I didn't excpect people to create harpy characters that would discredit the entire race. Most of them should be being used as aerial soldiers in Heaven's army, so they're doing something productive. Not everyone's meant to stand out here. Syphax, Eve, Maceroy and Atarah are in positions of power among them and have differing views, and thus took different sides.

This is me justifying that I had no idea how this would pan out since I expected it to be a goal that would be reached endgame. If there's a problem I can address let me know.

@Mega Birb A huge amount of the gripe comes from Syphax's "Juno of the Skies" thing you kept trying to push. GMs were not happy about that.

As for Atarah, she's really just a punk. I doubt anyone in Hell respects her, so I didn't bother giving her a title.

I established like... long ago that most harpies were kinda shit. I think that was established while you were here. It's the IC reason why Syphax hasn't been fighting, because when you dropped, I had him leave to train harpies full time. That way, you could return and have him fight at any time when you returned to take Syphax, if you did.
