@Warborn123 I read Phillip's sheet again and noticed several seemingly contradictory things about him that make me a bit curious about him.

He's incredibly brave and knows he's already dead, yet is trying to "avoid a early grave"
He believes nothing in life matters yet he wants to experience as many pleasures as he can.
Despite his very weak faith, not giving a damn, and hedonism, he has an extremely high willpower.

I'm not quite sure what's going on in that man's head.

@AdvancedJ3lly The "avoid a early grave" part was from a original draft of the character sheet, originally Phillip was going to be a coward and the whole "avoid a early grave" thing means that he'd run off as soon as combat would get intense, but however I thought you all would hate him if he was a coward so I changed it so he was brave, I just forgot to delete that part. because I can be lazy, I don't rewrite too much, I just delete some parts and call it a day.

Phillip believes that he's already dead. no matter what he does he won't be able to change the fact that at the end of the day he's not going to live. So he tries to have as much happiness as he can before he dies, Drugs can potentially fuck up your life and kill you but to Phillip it doesn't matter as he's going to die anyways. The reason why he's so brave is because he believes that he has no control over his own death, so he just embraces death. Ironically his Nihilism could end up killing him because when threatened with a challenge, he chooses to give up all hope and die regardless of a possible escape.

He hates Religion because he knows that his God has no power, He's seen what happens when you die and thus he know's the Emperor is either

B: Hates him

I've been waiting on @Nohbdy to post as his action and die roll has an impact on things (and not really for the better :P). I may just have to skip his post though if he can't find the time.

Unfortunately I have to keep this rolling so Nohbdy's post is being skipped. I'm really sorry, you'll have to include it in your next post. He made a test to attempt to take a peek at the auspex and get an idea of what to expect and managed to fail enough to wreck the system entirely and leave your dropship truly blind.

I upped the jump test difficult by one to account for the rather unfortunate jump conditions. The rulebook actually recommends 2 difficulty levels for very poor weather, but this could turn out brutal enough as it is.

Also, @Ollumhammersong I noticed Jayne has 33 Strength which isn't actually very high (only about 2 points above the average). It seems a tad bit low for one of the strongest troopers in a regiment made up of thousands.

@AdvancedJ3lly Also I am including her much higher than oeverage toughness stat, which in this game is usually combined with strength to give an indication of a persons physical ability and overall health/constitution.

its not my fault strength increases are mostly pointless on heavy troopers, aside from carrying capacity. If you want to split hairs on this I can change it to say 'toughest'

No, it's not your fault, but it isn't pointless either. Mechanically speaking, toughness reduces incoming damage and reduces your chance of fatigue from encumbrance. Strength boosts melee damage and is used for skill tests to perform physical tasks which is very much not useless when you need to sprint after someone, lift some heavy rubble, etc. (because toughness is useless for actions, only resisting damage/fatigue/physical bad-stuff). I'm not saying strength is a better choice to boost then toughness, but as it stands Jayne may be one of the toughest/physically-fit and may be strong, but she is not one of the strongest.

I am more than aware of what the strength score does in this game and what it affects.
