Name: Henryk AlbescuAge: Eighteen (18)
Physical Description: Important items: -
Tattoos: Not so much an item, instead of tapestry of inedible ink decorating his skin. They were designed and etched by his evermore creative twin sister, Alma, on their sixteenth birthday.
-
A piece of paper: Yellowed with age, crumpled, and folded thrice, the paper contains the scrawled hand of his sister; the lyrics for one of the first songs she ever penned. When he’s down, or away from his sister too long, he’ll take it out and read it.
-
A zippo: Brass and aged, the lighter is the only keepsake Henryk has of his mum, a relic of their past life.
Short Bio: His family had connections to the Scorovese Mob that ran deep and far back. For their sins, Henryk was afforded a luxurious life, until the age of eight. In an attempted hit on his father, Ciriaco Albescu, his mother was caught by a stray bullet. Henryk saw only the aftermath, but it jaded him beyond his years. Shortly after, he and his sister, Alma, along with their father, were placed in a Witness Protection Program. They left their home behind, and settled into a quiet life.
Ever the business man, their father began grooming Henryk to take over the “family business”, so to speak, trying to make him savvy with all the underhanded techniques the greedy used to inch ahead of their unscrupulous competition. He had little interest, but mental osmosis led to some familiarity. Much more stern and stoic than his sister, he is ever vigilant, not wanting any harm to ever come to the one he adores and admires so much.
And that’s how he spends his days, with his twin brightening his life, forever his confidant.
Spell List:-
High: Alma’s Aegis Henyrk’s tattoo’s writhe and shift under his skin, shining a bright pearlescent blue along with his eyes. A faint glow covers his entire body, and over vital areas, elegant projections of dense-mana serpents unravel, creating a framework for tegulated rose petal armour. This can shield against trauma, magical or otherwise. However, upon absorbing enough damage, the constructs will dissolve, and Henryk will be blinded for a brief period. Any harm from the final instance of damage to cause the dissolution does not spill over to Henryk. It then takes an hour until he can use this again.
-
High: Asura's Disciple From his back unfurl up to four, arm-like extensions of precipitated mana. These arms are larger than Henryk's own, bearing a greater reach and strength. They are controlled by his thoughts, much like his actual arms, and move at a comparative speed. Capable of detaching, though unable to leave a five yard radius around him, the arms boast terrifying defensive and offensive potential. These can also be destroyed, and each take twenty minutes after destruction until they can be restored.
-
Mind Magic: Palinopsial Prowess The inked serpents begin to twist and turn in hypnotic rhythm, dancing to an unheard melody. Henryk’s form seems to be preceded and chased by its azure ghosts, intangible false-predications and after-images, making it hard to discern where he actually is, and how he’ll actually move, dazzlingly with the bright and garish colours. One might also find an increased affinity for violent acts directed at Henryk when provoked by the slithering dermal vipers.
-
World: Heat Rush Henryk's tattoos glow like dull embers, flaring heat and smoke, producing flames when he makes contact with a target. This conflagration explodes with enough force propel his fists with dazzling speed, punch after punch; creating a considerably dangerous blitz. Each blow landed is followed by surging gouts of flame. This magic is exhaustive more to body than mind, so cannot be used for greatly extended periods without the rapid onset of increasing levels of exhaustion.
-
Change: Tyrant Visage Merging with his tattoos, Henryk adopts their aspects; gaining a skin of mottled scales and an increase in his musculature. His face becomes a frightful maw of some hellish lizard. Incredibly tough, but also incredibly volatile; donning the Tyrant's Visage drives Henryk into a frenzy, where many inhibitions are abandoned for primal strength. Given that his tattoos now, essentially, cover his entire body; other Spells of a physical nature may be used in conjunction with it. After a short time the merger ends, leaving Henryk in a state of weakness until his tattoos settle back into place, which takes roughly twice the time the form was possessed for.
-
TimeSpace: Roundabout Distorting the fabric of space-time, Henryk slows the world around him; allowing him to move freely through a battlefield; a blur among the budding confusion. Whilst this spell does not last long, if used in conjunction with his other Spells; Henryk can make quick work of the unprepared. The damage inflicted during slowed space will not be apparent, until the spell has ended. Due to the nature of the spell, and Henryk’s inexperience with TimeSpace magic, it can only be used once per day.
