Ophelia sat silently in front of the fireplace which threw heat toward her and crackled in the evening air. She watched as the flames danced and played together, creating a story for her to watch. Her mind wasn't really on anything in particular, and she chewed at her bottom lip, her fangs pressing into the cold flesh sharply, though the pain didn't phase her. Her throat burned slightly with thirst and she considered waiting another night to feed, but knew that she'd be starting some new classes at the Silvermoon Pier Alliance within a couple of days, and figured it would be a bad idea to wait.

Where she went to hunt depended on how thirsty she was. If her throat burned like acid, she would feed on humans who she knew were homeless and had no family. If not, she fed on animals to just satisfy. She shook her head gently to erase the thought from her mind for a while, and pulled the throw blanket over her legs more snugly and shut her eyes.

The boombox made a click and the song changed to Track 3. The beat was deep and tribal, the sound almost angry, violent in its own way. The lyrics described a Hobgoblins transformation into madness. Jax stood in the middle of the large gym/training room in a sports bra and sweatpants. Her feet were bare and her knuckles were sore, as she went through the drills. She twisted on her foot, kicking off of a large model orc. She twisted, her back heel moving behind her as she twisted her arm to give an uppercut to the orc's upper peck. She pulled back only to hit with her left then twisted around to attack with her elbow. She turned, jumping up again to hit the model with her foot before she lost her footing and fell to the ground with a rough thud. She winced as she hit the matt hard, rolling to her back and looking up at the dusty beams. She grunted, letting out a light laugh as she got back to her feet, and headed for her water bottle. She took a quick chug and wiped her neck as the beat grew to a crescendo.

She threw the bottle down to the floor and began to dance, her body twisting as she jumped from left to right, her expression light as she sang along, her red hair bobbing up and down in her ponytail. She took in the adrenaline boost, and turned to look at herself in the mirror. She imitated the famous singer watching herself in the mirror as she pretended that a whole colosseum full of people were watching her. She bolted out a sour note, turning to the left only to notice the clock. She stopped immediately,"SHIT!"

She ran to the boombox turning it off halfway through the track as she reached down to grab her blue jacket, waterbottle and boots. She ran quickly, shoving a boot on each foot after putting on her jacket. She bolted through the doors, into the night, her heels hitting the pavement hard as she ran towards Wethermere St. Rain and wind pelted against her as she pushed through the cold. She kept running, knowing that he was probably going to be pissed. She finally saw him standing outside of the building with the face of a raging bull,"Ahh Shit. I'm sorry Baby, I know I'm late. I completely lost track of time."

A small imp looked up at Jax with blazing red eyes,"HARGUL FINISHED BALLET AT 7. JAX GET HARGUL AT 7. NOT 8 NOT 9. OTHER MOMS GET KIDS. NO ONE GET HARGUL! I SELL SOUL TO JAX AND HARGUL GETS SHIT SPOON!"

Jax rolled her eyes, looking at her pet with contempt, tonight was going to be a long night.

Morthos sat in the library, it had been a long day of studying. Not studying anything in particular, it's not like he had any exam he had to take, just learning about monsters. He had taken a break part way through to play some shogi with the head librarian Mr. Isho. Morthos liked him, he didn't think Morthos was some kind of evil monster based on how he looked. But now he had left for the night and Morthos was basically all alone left to his own devices. He'd lived in Port Ashmer for a few years now and the first thing he did was find the library. Morthos had grown up in a town much smaller than this, thus the library was also smaller. When he first saw the Port Ashmer library he nearly fell over it was so beautiful.

Since that time he had spent almost all his free time there, sometimes not even learning anything, just sitting and admiring the place. He put the book on elementals away and made his way back home. As he walked he pulled up the hood of his cloak kept his tail hidden, he didn't want any stares. Despite living here for years some people still looked at him with the disgust he hated. And given the size of Port Ashmer there was also a sizable amount of tourists who may have never seen someone like him before. So he walked, trying his best to blend in, hoping his walk home could be as peaceful as his day had been.

Deep in the Salikawood forest, Roxas sat, resting, by a large tree stump. Only his glave and his mind to keep him company. The last few days had been very taking for him and all he really wanted was to rest. "This hunt it turning out to be more trouble than its worth." He growled to himself silently. As Roxas was about to lay his head down against the stump when he heard a very loud scream. Alert, with his glave at the ready, Roxas started to sprint towards the noise. "Now I wonder what that could be?" He smirked as he bounded through the forest. As he reached what he thought was his destination, the horror of what was in front of him would have made any normal man vomit. Other hunters riddled across the ground, their guts flung in all sorts of directions. Blood stained the ground as the body's were ripped to pieces. In the center of all this was a dark headless creature with a massive black war horse. A Dullahan.

"I've finally found you." Roxas grins as he sees is prey standing in front of him. The Dullahan heard Roxas speak and turned around slowly to face him. "Another fool to an early grave." The Dullahan smirked. "Pity for you." Roxas drew his weapon and readied it for action. "Trust me I'm not the fool hear." As Roxas spoke, his eyes changed from a deep blue to blood red in a second, his grin turning into a creepy smile. "Enough talk." The Dullahan drew his whip, made of human spines, in one hand and a battle ax in the other. "Funny I was thinking the same thing." Roxas lunged at the Dullahan with lightning speed, only slightly missing as the Dullahan swiftly dodged his attack. He retaliated with his whip, catching Roxas's foot and flinging him against a tree. Unfazed from what just happened, Roxas attacked again. Clashing blades and dodging whips until finally Roxas landed a hit, slicing open his back. The Dullahan screamed in pain as he turned around quickly and whipped at Roxas. Roxas dodged the whips attack and before the Dullahan could recover from the attack, Roxas grabbed the end of the whip and pulled the Dullahan closer. Ramming his glave deep into the heart of the beast. Smirking again, "I thought this would have been a much longer fight. You disappoint me." As the Dullahan crumbled into dust, Roxas sheathed his blade and reverted back to his normal self and started to make his way back to the city.

Ophelia opened up her eyes again after a short while, deciding finally to go hunt. She moved quickly, almost a blur through the rooms of the house, grabbing her bow and quiver, as well as her. She wrapped the cloak around her and put the hood up, the silver lining framing her face and hair with perfect symmetry. Silently, she made her way down to street level and locked the door behind her, double checking it by twisting the handle before turning and moving into the night towards the side of the city closest to the Salikawood forest. There were often people unconscious, drunk, or high near this side of the city, and it made for easy hunting. Despite the fact that Ophelia was a gentle person, she had come to realize early on in her Vampirism that she had one very important need that had to be met often, and accepted the fact that this could and would hurt other beings, whether they be human, non human, or animal. The moon was rising up into the sky at a decent pace, and her grey-blue eyes easily adjusted, her night vision extremely good.

A little while had passed by the time Ophelia finally arrived at the edge of the city, and she could hear moans and random babbling from people around her in the surrounding area. She breathed in long and and slow through her nose and took in the scents, focusing on one in particular that smelled fresh and clean, but also dark somehow. The scent drew her in instinctively, and she began to move towards the person the scent was coming from. Finally her eyes came to rest on a tall male with dark hair and pale skin, a mask covering most of his face. He wore a long black jacket which matched the rest of his dark clothing. She took in his features quickly but finally her eyes came to rest on his wrist, noticing his injury.

Ophelia kept herself hidden behind some trees, moving silent with bare feet, and took her bow from her back, placing a silver tipped arrow into the knock and drawing the string back, moving her body steadily as her target walked towards the city. Finally as he had his back turned to her, she released the arrow aimed at his right shoulder blade, but her arm moves just slightly up, causing the arrow to just barely graze the top of his shoulder and she shifts herself to hide behind a the tree again, her nostrils flared angrily. After a few moments to collect herself, she places her bow very carefully, along with the quiver and cloak, on the ground, doing all of this with utter silence. Once her items are placed on the ground, she moves again in a blur towards the male, reaching her perfectly manicured hands out to grab him, one hand placed on his jaw, the other on his forehead, prepared to snap his neck to the side.

Roxas was about to reach is destination when he felt the arrow rush past his head. "God damn it. I just wanted to change." He sighed to himself and quickly turned around. Not expecting what came next. All he could feel was a cold hand against his jaw and then one on his forehead. "Oh it's on!" He thought as he was fighting to get away. Immediately after the hands touched him, he grabbed whoever was attacking him hand flung them to the ground. Readying his glaive and his creepy smile crossing his face as his eyes change again back to the blood red. "listen, I've had a very long day. I'm covered with blood and I just want to change into my normal clothes. You really don't want to mess with me right now." He threatened as he brought his glaive to his attackers throat.

Ophelia was thrown to the ground, but before her hands let go of his face, her fingers curled around his mask and tugged it off with her. She landed hard, and if she needed to breathe, her breath would have been knocked right out of her. Before doing anything else, she grabs her arrow. "I'm not afraid of you, human," she snarled through her fangs, bearing them at him after picking herself up off the ground only to be met by his weapon at her throat. She smiles, tilting her head back as if to invite him to try and kill her, and reached her arm out quickly, wrapping her fingers around his injured wrist and pulling him forward towards her, kicking her leg out around his to trip him to her side, his weapon slicing her throat slightly and she presses a bare foot down heavily onto his face, trying to get a good look at him, pressing her arrow down onto his back.

As his mask falls off, Roxas starts to laugh hysterically, blood pouring from where is
was. "Now why would you go and do a thing like that" Still laughing Roxas lunges at the woman only to be tripped. Seeing that he sliced her throat a little he grins. Roxas looks over and sees there there's an arrow being pointed at him. He reaches up and snaps it in half, starting to laugh again. "Think you could get your foot off my face now?" Reaches and pulls the woman to the ground again, this time sitting with his full weight on top of her.

Morthos had grown up in a town much smaller than this, thus the library was also smaller. When he first saw the Port Ashmer library he nearly fell over it was so beautiful.

And given the size of Port Ashmer there was also a sizable amount of tourists who may have never seen someone like him before. So he walked, trying his best to blend in, hoping his walk home could be as peaceful as his day had been.

"JESUS HARGUL! I'M FREAKING SORRY! I WAS TRAINING AND I LOST TRACK OF TIME! IT'S NOT LIKE I INTENTIONALLY MEANT TO FORGET YOU!" Jax said in a pleading voice.

She was soaked under the heavy rainfall, her light clothing she chose for early in the day was soaked to her form and she was shivering profusely. Hargul on the other hand was small enough to rest on her shoulders, his claws grasping at her neck and wet coat. His green scales were rough and scraped against her exposed skin. His beady orange eyes were staring ahead,"HARGUL ANGRY WITH MISS JAX. YOU FORGET ME. GREAT HARGUL IS DISSAPOINTED. GETS SHIT SPOON. GETS TO SLEEP IN PANTY DRAWER TONIGHT!"

JAX grimaced at the thought,"HARGUL for the thousandth time. No one is touching my panties! So get it out of your brain. JESUS...HEY!"

Without warning Jax smacked into someone walking down the road. She was about to keep walking when Hargul jumped off her shoulders and onto the back of the person whom she bumped into. The little imp, curved around the man's shoulders to look him in the face,"BROTHERKIN! HARGUL HASN'T SEEN FAMILY IN AGES. HARGUL FROM HELL TO. LADY JAX BOUGHT HARGUL FROM OPOLONIUS FOR THREE QUARTERS! SHE DOESN'T LET HARGUL SLEEP IN THE PANTY DRAWER."

Jax turned red, walking over to the guy hastily,"HARGUL get your little ass over here or so help me. I am so sorry about him he's.."

She paused looking at the guy in front of her for few minutes. His red skin and horns was something she had seen many times from her glimpses of He'll bit never in the living realm. She took a small second to sense the aura of demonic possession on him or any evil malice. She felt nothing so she continued on as before, her expression and voice indifferent to his appearance,"He is a sharer! HARGUL Now!"

The imp gave her a sour face before jumping back onto her shoulders. Jax shivered, her nose beginning to turn red. She wiped at it with Hargul's ballerina suit, knowing that she was probably going to get a cold. She continued evenly, her shivering growing more apparent, "I can barely c-c-control him m-m-most of the time."

Morthos was about ready to blast the little bastard off his shoulder before his own came and claimed him. She paused a moment before she finished her sentence, he could tell she was taken aback by his appearance. Nothing new, at least she didn't seem repulsed by him, just more curious than anything else. Morthos recognized her, he had been part of SPA for a little while now and had made it a point to at least learn everyone's name. He never talked to anyone, he just looked at the public registry of all the guild members and learned that way. He wasn't surprised she didn't know him, Morthos tried to stay away from others as a general policy.

"Don't worry about it, although I'm not from hell you little monster." The second part was clearly directed at Hargul. Morthos could see Jax was shivering from the rain, and while he may look the part Morthos was in fact not a horrible monster. He did a small flourish with his hand and created a small but warm fire and held it out towards her to warm her up. "Don't be getting sick now, otherwise the little jackass might escape while you're resting," Morthos grinned slightly, he was mostly joking, he doubted the demon could do much harm if left to his own devices. It sounded like the worst he would do is go in Jax's panty drawer. Morthos wasn't awful with people, he did have some social skills, he just really didn't like others so he didn't get much chance to use them.

Jax tried to hold back a laugh at his little monster comment knowing Hargul will keep mentioning shit spoons if he notices. She gave him a small smile, then her expression lit up as he produced a small fire for warmth. She held out her hands, over the flame, the light shining over her dark pentagram tattoos that were etched onto both the back of her hands and her palms. She spoke warmly,"Oh T-Thankyou! Yeah, he is a rascal if you don't pay attention to him, but his family so, what are you going to do? I left home early this morning to train and completely forgot to bring an umbrella and a proper jacket. Oh, that's warm. Quite an interesting skill you got there are you part of SPA?"

She tried to remember if she had seen him there before, but nothing came to mind. You would think with his coloring, he would be fairly obvious to spot but she couldn't place him. That surprised her seeming as she was quite popular with many of the other mythic's. She needed to they were her competition, and tomorrow they would know what that really meant. She had been training like crazy this year, but her performance was finally at a peak spot. Her dreaming of becoming the strongest most powerful mythic in SPA was growing to be a reality. She could feel it. She quite literally could feel it, when suddenly she felt a slap on the top of her head,"HARGUL IS NO JACKASS! HARGUL IS PRETTY IMP! VERY SPECIAL TO MISS JAX! YOU NO BROTHERKIN. YOU SHIT SPOON, WITH CROOKED HORNS."

"HARGUL! BE NICE TO...UH..sorry did I ask for your name? I'm Jax if you haven't guessed! Again so sorry, he is having a bad day. "

Ophelia grunts gently as she's pinned down, his weight not really bothering her, just simply feeling frustrated that she can't move much. She looks up and realizes his face was covered in blood where his mask was, and her eyes widen. Despite being thirsty, she realized that this person could possibly die from blood loss, and then wonders how in the world he even is conscious at the present moment. Becoming concerned, she doesn't fight against him, even though she knows he poses a threat to her.

"I think you should get some medical attention..." she says, her voice, when not agitated, like music.

“What this?” Roxas points at his face and laughs. “This is nothing. Now what do you want from me and why have you attacked me. I’ve never seen you before in my life.” His face still bleeding but doesn’t seem like he’s phased by it at all. He slowly gets off of the woman and goes to grab his mask off the ground, putting it back on his face where the blood was. The blood immediately stops flowing and his face healing up.“Now if you’ll excuse me I’d like to go change out of this.” Roxas starts to walk away from his attacker, sheathing his blade.

Ophelia sits up as the man gets off her, watching as he puts his mask back on. Her eyebrows raise slightly as the blood stops, and she begins to look confused. She can tell this person is a human, but he’s definitely not an ordinary one. “I don’t want anything to do with you, I suppose…” She whispered mostly to herself as he begins to walk away. She was uncertain, simply wanting to go home now, having forgotten about her thirst despite all the blood around and on her.

She looked on the ground to find her broken arrow, her lips shifting into a slight pout, worried about how she’d afford to get it repaired, and held the pieces in her hands gently before getting up to go back to the tree she had originally been hiding behind to grab her
, quiver, and cloak.

As Roxas starts to walk away he turns around to see the woman return to her tree. He laughs to himself seeing as he has her weapon and cloak. “I better return this.” He sighs to himself and starts to stalk over to her. As Roxas walks up behind her he starts to grin, expecting to frighten her. “I think you’ll find that what you’re looking for is right here.” He hands out the woman’s equipment to her.

Ophelia turns around, having heard him approach thanks to her heightened senses and looks at him, reaching her hand out to be given her things back. “You shouldn’t steal, it’s not right..” she says, feeling unimpressed by him. “You also got blood all over my
, and broke my arrow.”

Roxas gives back the items he had and smirked a little. “You’re the one who ripped of something you shouldn’t have. Also sorry about the arrow.” He hands her a bag of Solars with her stuff. “Hope this can cover it.” As he does that he start to turn around and walk away.

She takes her things gently, fastening the cloak around her now blood stained dress, and places the bow and quiver on her back. Ophelia then is handed a bag of currency and she looks up at the man gently, “I can’t take this.”
“Keep it anyways, I have plenty to spare. Maybe get a new dress while you’re at it. Maybe one with less blood.” Roxas says over his shoulder and waves. Thinking he’s never going to see her again, he turns around to get one more look at her.

Ophelia’s grey-blue eyes narrow slightly at the bag, placing it in her cloak pocket, looking at her dress sadly. Great, now I need to get this dealt with too. And I liked this one, jerk, she thinks. She groans and decides to finally head home, turning her back to the man and disappearing into the forest, not wanting to run into him again. Even though this would be the long way around, she makes her way home again and finds the door still locked. Before opening the door though, she leans against the frame and listens as rain pours down, having been sheltered most of the time she was gone by the trees. Her shoulders slouching in the rain before heading inside.

After his encounter, Roxas swiftly runs home to change. Once home he finds his
,lays it out on his desk to get ready for the next day and starts to take his clothes off. Once the rest of his outfit is off, he rips off his mask, used to the pain. Blood starts to gush from his face again but not for long. After taking a towel and wiping his face, the blood disappears not even leaving a scar. He lays his mask in the top left drawer of his desk then shuts it. After throwing his outfit in the wash, Roxas puts his pj’s on and gets ready for bed.

Morthos didn't know much about Jax, mostly just her name and that she was a very skilled magic user. Given the pentacle tattoos on her hands and the small demon she kept with her he figured she specialized in demonology. Funny that of all the people he could have run in to it was the girl who knew what's what with demons. "Oh, this?" He gestured at the fire he was making, "this is nothing, you should see me if I'm in a fight. Fire comes very naturally to me, as you may have guessed from the, ah, horns." Morthos coughed feeling slightly awkward, he usually didn't mention anything about his demonic appearance to people. But Jax seemed nice enough, so he didn't mind as much, "and yes, I'm part of SPA. I'm not surprised you haven't seen me around, I make a habit out of keeping a low profile. People aren't usually as, ah, understanding, as you are with the whole..." He moved his hand gesturing up and down his body, "everything."

He considered bringing up something else but at that moment Hargul jumped in with a little rant of his own. "No, I'm not your brotherkin. I look like this because a long time ago some people made a deal with some archdemons and now everyone related to them looks like this." Morthos shook his head, why was he even entertaining this demon? "I'm Morthos, and don't worry about it, I've been called a lot worse than 'shit spoon', do you want me to walk you home? I don't mind, and I wouldn't want you getting sick."

Jax smirked at his mention of the fire, but it died when he mentioned that people treated him differently because of his appearance. She gave him another once over, her green eyes looking at the red skin and horns. After his response to Hargul and his offer to take her home she nodded with appreciation. If she was any other girl she would have said no, not wanting a stranger to see where she lived right off the bat. But she figured if he was going to try anything she could take him. If she couldn't defend herself who the hell could she protect. She spoke evenly,"Well it's nice to meet you officially Morthos, I would love the company home. I really can't afford to get sick right now either."

She paused walking down the street, letting him follow her with the flame,"Also I think you are being too hard on yourself, for devilish figures, I've seen worse. Really. I've seen Hell. Some archdemons have six breasts on their
backs and boils the size of faces."

She laughed lightly, shoving her hands in her pockets as Hargul glared at Morthos,"It's cool that you are in SPA though! I hope you didn't like the low profile thing because I think we have to be friends now."

She kicked at a rock, shoving her sopping orange red hair away from her face,"I mean if you want to. I think after tomorrow people are going to think I'm an idiot but I'm going to challenge Titan."

She paused keeping her eyes forward. Titan was one of the strongest members of the SPA, standing at 7 feet with the ability of superhuman strength, He was unbeatable within the guild, and he has been challenged only six times. She challenged him in her first week she joined and was destroyed. She broke three ribs, two fingers and her leg, and she knew he had been soft on her. It was embarrassing and Ophelia was furious! She did not want to see her face tomorrow. No one knew she was going to challenge him, apart from Morthos now.

She gave him the side eye,"I don't know why I told you that. I haven't even told my sister...oh. This is me."

She looked up at the building in front of her, her expression light but nervous,"Thanks for walking me home."

"Well thank you for saying I'm not the worst looking hellspawn you've ever seen," he said with a bit of a smile, "and I'm grateful I look how I do for the most part, but some people don't need much. I have red skin, horns, and a tail, I look a lot different than most people, and that makes me an outsider." Despite saying this, Morthos didn't feel like an outsider right now. He felt good, maybe even a bit happy. Maybe people weren't all bad, maybe he just hadn't found the right friends yet.

He was going to say he would gladly call her friend but instead he was blindsided by announcement that she would be challenging Titan. He nearly let the flame go out he was so surprised, "Titan? Like, the Titan?" Titan was huge, both in terms of physical size and strength. In terms of a straight up one on one fight he was nearly unbeatable. Jax mentioned not being sure why she told Morthos when she hadn't told anyone else, "I think when it comes to something like this you just want someone to know, whether to give advice or talk you out of it." Morthos spoke from some experience, he'd done some dumb things in the past.

They'd reached her house now, and she'd thanked him, "walking you home was no problem. I'm not gonna say you're an idiot or try and stop you from facing Titan, this isn't something you decide on a whim, so you must have a reason. I will give you some advice however. Titan's power is from how strong he is, as far as I know he's never been beat, that makes him cocky. Use that against him, you'll have to be tricky, and keep your distance if you can, if he gets his hands on you it's probably over." Morthos chuckled after thinking about what he'd said, "I'm sure you have some kind of strategy, make sure you don't forget what it is while you're fighting. I'll see you tomorrow, if you wanna grab me before your fight tomorrow try the library. If not then I'm sure I'll hear about it and head over to the arena to cheer you on, good night Jax." He made sure she got in to her house before walking back to his place and turning in for the night, happy that he'd found someone he could call a friend.

Ophelia got up from her bedroom early, despite the fact that she never sleeps, and went and got ready for the day. Jax had been going to SPA for a while now, but Ophelia had taken a short break between her classes. It was nice that way. She could pick back up when and where she wanted to, for the most part. After a few moments of contemplation, Ophelia stepped into a pale, off white floor-length dress, and pulled her hair up into a messy bun, pieces of the hair falling down around her face. She moved quickly, grabbing her cloak and fastening it around her shoulders, pulling the hood up and grabbing her bow and quiver an placing those onto her back. "Jax, are you ready to go yet?" she calls, looking in the direction of Jax's bedroom.

Jax stood in front of her mirror, choosing a pair of thigh high boots, breachers, a low cut white blouse, and her favourite blue army jacket. She looked over at the black cross necklace hanging by her dresser. She threw it over her copper hair, letting it fall into the blouse. She then called back to Ophelia, "Be there in a minute!"

She turned walking to the door where her scythe lay crooked onto its hooks in the wall. The black shine of the blade hit the sunlight as she picked it up and swung it around to hook over her back. She looked at her room for a second, knowing that she might not sleep here tonight if the fight went bad. She exited her door and looked at her sister,"I don't know how you can fight in that dress. I don't understand how you never get blood stains on that!"

Ophelia grinned wide, her fangs obvious for Jax to see. "I'm going to bring a different outfit. Plus I don't normally get blood on my clothing!! OH!" she said, reminded again of the encounter last night with the human. "I have something to tell you!" She looked up at Jax, her twin many inches taller than herself, and pushes a piece of white hair from her face, but before Jax could respond, Ophelia disappeared into her room once more time and grabbed the outfit she mentioned, then stood again at the door, reaching to open it. "Come on, I'll tell you on the way to SPA."

Jax smirked,"I was going to say...and really? My shut in sister has a story. Is it something about last night's hunt?" She exited the door and looked over at her little twin,"You seemed a bit peckish last night. What happened?" Jax thought of her meeting and decided to keep it to herself, not wanting to steal Ophelia's news.

Ophelia walked in bare feet along the cobblestone road towards the city center, raising an eyebrow at Jax's comment "My shut in sister has a story", then continued on to tell her about the encounter. "Okay, well I left to go find something to feed from, in my usual spot by the forest. And anyway I came across this human. He was wearing a weird white mask and oh God. So I figured since he was human it would be fine, but his blood smelled dark in a way. He had an injury. And I shot my bow at him, but I missed and so I was about to snap his neck and he fought back! He broke my arrow and got blood all over that black and silver dress! And you wanna know how he got the blood on me? I ripped his mask off. But it was attached to his face like some weirdo!! Uhg it was the creepiest thing I ever saw in my life. I hope I never see him again."

"Woah! What? He didn't hurt you did he? Because if he did. So help me.." Jax's eyes turned full green for a few minutes, anger running through her veins. She paused, her tone a bit more restrained,"You ripped off his mask though? Jesus! Did you finish him off? If he is evil he might hurt someone else Ophelia." Jax tried to calm down knowing she needed to prepare herself mentally for the fight. "You usually are so careful when it comes to hunting."

"He cut my throat but it's healed already. I don't know if he's evil Jax. Something was different about him that's for sure. I've never seen him before. I don't know where he came from, but he was in the forest heading into town." Ophelia paused for a moment, her shoulders slouching slightly at Jax's last comment. "I know I'm usually very careful. I didn't anticipate that he would retaliate. He also gave me a bag filled with Solars to pay for the dress and arrow he wrecked.. It was odd to say the least. But I'm fine, don't worry about me so much..." She chewed her lip for a while after.

Jax let out a sigh,"Well thank God for that. At least he paid for what he broke. If he's a fighter he might be new to SPA. Be careful and let me know if you see him again. I don't want to sound like mom. I'm just a little on edge today." She rubbed her hair, knowing that Ophelia would blow a gasket if she knew what she planned for today. "I met someone as well last night as well. Not in the same manner but..I made a new friend."

"What's wrong? And oh? How did that go?" Ophelia asked her curiously, watching her face as they walked.

Jax purposely ignored the first question,"It was awkward. Hargul insulted this devillish looking fellow in his usual charming manner and I had to apologize for it. The guy was sweet though, he kept me warm and walked me home because it was pouring out and I had stupidly forgot an umbrella. He is the only reason I am not sick right now. He's a student at SPA I will introduce you to him later."

"That is kind of awkward I guess. He really doesn't know how to keep his mouth shut, does he? Why did you bring him around again?" Ophelia chuckles, taking the hood from her cloak down as they enter the SPA grounds through a large wrought iron gate.

As morning arrives, Roxas starts to get ready for his day. Throws on his clothes and puts on his glasses, still thinking a lot about what happened the night prior. "Wonder if I'll ever see that woman again." He mutters to himself then shrugs and finishes getting ready. "I better go to the SPA today and see if there're any more hunts. That last one wasn't as much of a challenge as I would have liked. That woman was the most excitement that I've had in weeks." Once he finishes getting ready, Roxas takes his mask out of the drawer and places it in his bag. After, he quickly grabs a glass of water and some money then makes his way to the SPA. "Wonder what kind of trouble I'll get in today?" He says sarcastically to himself.

Morthos did not go to bed as soon as he got home that night. He lit a small fire, sat in his chair, and had himself a nice think. He'd made a new friend, a friend who wasn't some old person who ran a library. Morthos was feeling something he wasn't sure he'd ever really felt before, he was happy. He'd found someone who didn't judge him for how he looked, she just treated him like a person, she'd even confided something in him. Morthos just sat and thought about her for a while, Jax, quite possibly his first real friend. Certainly the first one who was anywhere near his age. Eventually he got tired and retired to bed, anxious for Jax's fight against Titan the next day.

Morthos woke up the next day excited to see Jax again, he was really curious how she intended to defeat Titan, or if the whole thing was possibly just a bluff of some sort. He ate his normal breakfast of cereal and cleaned himself with fire instead of taking a shower like a normal person would. Being a hellspawn did have some advantages, one of which was being pretty fire resistant. He then donned his cloak, grabbed his usual equipment and headed out. He was walking across the SPA campus headed towards the library when he saw Jax entering with someone else. Oh what was her name, he knew it....Ophelia, right. Morthos made his way over to them, why wait for Jax to challenge Titan when he could just be there when she did it. He wouldn't mention it though, as he wasn't sure she told anyone else. "Jax, hey." He raised his staff slightly in greeting, "sleep well last night? Ready to, uh, take on the day?" He was trying to be subtle about asking about the challenge, he was unsure how smooth he may or may not be.

Jax shoved her hands in her pockets,"Oh That is a long story, Sis. Just take it from me he has his uses."

A quick laugh escaped her lips before she heard her name. She turned seeing Morthos heading her way,"Oh Hey!" She leaned over to elbow Ophelia,"This is the dude I was talking about."

When he caught up to them she responded with,"Oh better than I have in weeks." She lied casually, having had very little sleep last night,"I think the day will be a bit challenging but I am confident that all will end alright." She gave him a confident smirk, knowing he knew full well what she was trying to say. She then turned to look at Ophelia,"OH! Right, this is my sister Ophelia. I know, vampire, demonologist. Very different but we are twins. Ophelia this is Morthos, he's my new bestie."

She winked at him cheekily, noticing a few friends behind him. She waved keeping her eyes out for Titan. She would challenge him as soon as she saw him before she lost nerve or before Ophelia found out, to be honest. Her eyes moved back to Morthos,"Have you checked the board, for missions? I think there was one that looked awesome, except you need at least four people."

She kept her eyes and ears perched waiting for the lug to make his entrance.

Ophelia watched as the male approached them once Jax mentioned he was the person she had met the night before. "You're right about him being devillish... Devillishly handsome!" she giggled slightly, whispering while nudging Jax in the ribs. Ophelia coughed slightly when Jax introduced her to Morthos, and curtsied low. "Nice to meet you! Thank you for walking Jax home last night."

While they talked, Ophelia took in his features gently. He was wearing a cloak, so she couldn't see all of him, but knew what it was like to be different, though not quite to that extent. Eventually Ophelia's attention was turned to other people arriving onto the campus and then looked towards the ground, the scent of blood of all kinds surrounding her, reminding her of her failed hunt the night before. Her throat still burned and she bit the inside of her lower lip with her fangs to distract herself.
