Relationship Status: On-and-off
Personality: Reinhard has no great ego nor desire for attention, though it might look otherwise at first glance thanks to his almost acrobatics when expressing a brilliant idea or an intense emotion; which seems to come and blast through the door of his mind in every instance, seemingly without much filter. Nonetheless, before one can even accept or get used to his outbursts, it is easy to realize how much wit comes with each of his grandiloquent antics and proclamations, or the sarcasm and hyperbolic black humour he exclaims with more frequency than delight. Indeed, don’t make yourself the target of one of his caustic sprouts of humour or one those tirades that he falls into that you can’t make out if are serious or not. Combine it with a deep belief on his conclusions and a plethora of nervous habits and you have a person that can never stay quietly in the same place.
Beyond that rough and hard to deal with exterior, Reinhard is a kind and empathic person, with his intelligence not only enveloping the area of chemistry he loves so deeply, but also concerning emotional intelligence: he can read people very well although he rarely shows it, preferring to act indirectly or only when it’s really necessary. His dealings with businessmen since a very young age have shaped a slight, although not ill-intentioned mistrust by default; that isn’t to say he can’t trust people, just that he will take more time to do so and even then, he will prefer not to critically depend on others.
The Heir of Xixier is an obstinate person by nature, with his genius carrying him forward since he has memory and the abilities to implement it only making most of his projects bloom, he held his own opinions in high regard, even when he doesn’t acknowledge it and prefers to believe he always follows the scientific method. He won’t hesitate to change his worldview if there are enough proof, but when dealing with less empirical subjects, like many in life are, makes this hard to archive even when he is open to criticism. Many believe all of this is a just a result of very egocentric person reaching the best position on his field, but the truth is that Reinhard had had the same personality since his adolescence.
But, where in this decided person lies the nervousness when he is so sure in his accomplishments? Simple, the most powerful force in daily life: habit. He might not be as nervous as he appears, but he always appears at least a little bit of nervous. He has always something on his hands, they are never idle, always tinkering with something, making his joints pop or practicing tricks or complex movements such as playing piano in the air. Reinhard is constantly pacing if it isn’t absolutely required that he is still, with a friend even pointing out that he would recognize him after being dead because he wouldn’t stop twitching even after he has been turned to dust. He also is constantly reading, sometime seven when talking to other people. Nonetheless, perhaps his most obnoxious habit is the fact that while he is a very considerate and respectful person, when nervousness attacks, he starts exploring the things laying around the room, looking into drawers, reading books and papers laying around and so forth.
A listing of skills, such as horseback riding or cooking. Levels include novice (1 pt), apprentice (2 pt), journeyman (3 pt), expert (4 pt), master (5 pt). Each character can spend 21 points & only two skills can be mastered. If your character knows magic, it counts as a skill.
- Chemistry (Master): What did you expect with a nickname such as Mr. Carbon? Reinhard is a master chemist, the eccentric Chief of the Royal Advisors of Science Division in the Department of War of the city of Azuria and chemical inventor on the side. He is proud to be working in what he has considered his passion since he was a teenager even when that has won him the idea that his personality is the way it is just because he can.
On a more practical role, Reinhard is such in tune with the knowledge he has that he can easily recognize compounds, alloys and such and differentiate them from many similar ones from sight alone be them in laboratory tubes, being part of a machine or in the rocks. The Heir of Xixier is such an expert that he can do wonders with just industrial products lying around. - Driving (Master): From a submarine to the largest flying ship to the fastest steam-powered monowheel, Reinhard is a natural at the controls once he knows what they do. Thanks to the instruction of his mother, the chemist knows how to drive as if he had been doing it for years. Any and every trick will eventually be discovered and, sooner rather than later, mastered. Dangerous, high speed persecutions in land, air or water, no problem!
- Engineering (Expert): In spite of not being a brilliant inventor nor it being his main area of expertise, Reinhard wouldn’t have come close to ever imagining his success without the technical knowledge of physics, engineering, mathematics and the related areas of knowledge. Despite not having the grace of many clockwork, steam or steamwork scientists that seem to be more and more prevalent with each year that passes, Reinhard can defend himself in the three fields of expertise without difficulty, making him special in the sense that he is a mechanic jack of all trades beyond his field.
- Negotiator (Expert): While growing around merchants and businessmen can be a pain, Reinhard had the fortune to have an exceptional teacher in his mother and the maturity at a young enough age to profit from the environment instead of going against the tides unnecessarily. While he had a rebellions nature in his youth, it was expressed in other ways while he learned to dominate the art of the negotiation, closing and bettering deals, bartering and being an ace in the diplomatic arena. This has given him the ability to rise above and beyond what a simple scientist would be able to reach.
- Pianist (Journeyman): It might have been a pastime in the past, but now it is an ability that Reinhard uses to calm his nerves, one of the many that he uses, one of the few that really works.

Parents: Father, Aethelwulf Hraf Schwartz Bischoffs II, very close but deteriorating thanks to lack of frequent contact. Mother, Calypso di Leonardo, dead, extremely good relationship while alive.
Siblings: Three sisters who died in infancy thanks to a plague before he was born, one alive: one year younger, Hrafnyr. They have had a very good relationship that has been cooling with the years they have spent apart.
Childhood: Since very young age, Reinhard has shown exceptional talent in the sciences and a good judge of character for other people, nonetheless, this hasn’t meant that he had a good head on his shoulders most of the time. On the contrary, when he was a child and an adolescent, Reinhard had the tendency to take unnecessary risks even knowing full well the consequences. That attitude had gotten him a kindred spirit in the form of a childhood friend, the heir to the Archduchy of Be’ir, Charlotte Aafje Blumenthal. Since of birth they shared their sharp mind and sharper wit, then they had a long-lasting, though mostly secret, romantic relationship through their adolescence that finally faded with time though they remained extremely close friends after that.
In his academic pursuits, Reinhard shone brightly. There was no precise moment in which he decided he wished to be a chemist, but it was obviously inspired by his father being Head Royal Engineer after his seemingly unshakable position fell through with the sudden death of his own father, Aethelwulf I.
His mother died when he was 17 years old, leaving behind a very affected, but capable, Reinhard, a great fortune and a letter congratulating him on keeping even a sliver of a relationship with Charlotte. Yes, she knew everything and was still proud, after all, she was the one to teach Reinhard his liberal views both through example and word.
Adulthood: With the compromise between Charlotte and archduke Marcus III, it seemed that his on-and-off relationship with Charlotte would end, it only became polyamorous after the deep friendship between Marcus and Reinhard (something from before it was even thought that Marcus and Charlotte would marry) became more than platonic. It even reached the point where Charlotte and Marcus offered to elope with Reinhard, something he declined citing that it would only be prejudice against the three of them.
He still visits them as often as he can, even with his new position on the council table of the throne room of Azuria. After he graduated he kept ascending meteorically in the field of chemistry until reaching the position of Chief of the Royal Advisors of the Science Division.
Special Moments: Meeting Charlotte, meeting Marcus, the death of his mother (he still invocates her name each time he climbs into a new and dangerous machine even when is completely faithless in higher powers), Charlotte’s and Marcus’ wedding day… and night.
Current Events: Currently Reinhard is just arriving on the Kingdom of Eagrose in a diplomatic mission to try and stablish commercial and science treaties, mainly selling technology in exchange for the natural resources that Azuria lacks.
