@Ms Patoots I can assure you that the GMs are not intentionally ignoring you because you're new. Caits in particular has a lot going on IRL and hasn't been able to reply to a few of my things in a while either. It's one of those seasons. Obviously you are still free to withdraw your character none the less.

Like what @t2wave said, Caits is pretty busy IRL, and also Expolar is kinda a rare sight these days. Zarkoon-sama does most of the daily GMing.

I can speak confidently that no one here is anti-newbie. We love having new people come in, hopefully to stay. And don't let the long running part dissuade you either. RN, we just wrapped up a huge arc and are in a bit of an interlude, so right now is a good time to join. Think of it like joining a new RP.

If you feel ignored or slighted, feel free to bring it up. We don't want people to feel unwelcome or unwanted. We will do our best to find the problem and do something about it.

That said, you are definitely free to leave if you wish. No one will begrudge you.

I was iffy about coming in blind to such a long running rp, as in my experience the ones who've been there from the start tend to be less inclined to let in newbies, but I was encouraged by some here, and took a shot at it. As has already been stated, it's not that you've been ignored, just a lot going on for the other two GMs, especially our main GM. It happens, and you are certainly free to withdraw as it stands, but I would encourage you to try posting your CS again, tag Caits and Expolar, and give it another few days.

I want to apologize for making you and a few other people here feel ignored. Caits is usually preoccupied since she is busy with managing things in her life. But I should have made an announcement before that my attention would be away from the RP for some time. So again, I'm sorry for my lack of communication.

After spending some time, Elnea's finished CS seems okay to me. But if you still want to withdraw it's understandable.

I think a roleplay of this scale can definitely justify having more than 3 GM's.

At the very least, you could appoint 2 or 3 extra moderators whose main role is to review any new CS' and dissolve any minor disputes.

@Zarkun So long as whatever you decide ends up easing the burden for you GM's and improving response times for newer applicants, then we can call it a success.

First of all, I'm sorry. Yes, I was goign to get to things yesterday, but I came back to my grandmas, went to do something, and threw my back out. It was honestly all I could do to sit down and not fall to the ground in a painful heap. This roleplay has been going on for four years, and yes, sometimes its slow. Sometimes I'm not the best GM I could be, but I assure you, I always get around to things. We have had no issues with people coming in, and indeed, Panda (Who I'm hoping to god i'm getting this right, honestly, my memory isn't doing too well at the moment) is the most recent addition, and we have had several people join, stay and become valued members. I accept just about everyone.

So far, you are the only one to have that opinion of "Anti-newcomer atmosphere".

My amazing co-gms pick up the slack when I need it, which yes, has been a fair bit this year, and part of thats because I'm currently doing everything I can not to fail my classes. I have a bit of free time right now, and I was going to spend most of the day getting shit done, including updating jobs for everyone who won't be in the upcoming arc, but that would help tie into the next arc. I was even going to update the active list again, and so many other things. Including, looking over, and approving- because yeah, I've already looked over your CS, as I had it in a tab open to look at as soon as I got my borrowed laptop open, and was just about to approve it when I saw your post.

So yes, it was a little delayed. But I always get around to doing things. And I always, always, give time and slack to everyone, because real life comes first. That has always been my opinion.

You're always welcome if you change your mind.
