Belwyn

It was just another night in Belwyn. The once salty rough waves caused by incoming ships and boats settled down and the ocean water was calm once more, hidden among the warehouse district were many, if not dozens, of drug dens constructed by humans to sell to the poison off to the populace of the city. It was one of the few areas claimed by the humans on the island, it wasn't exactly as luxurious as downtown, or as safe a police station, but it was their place to make drugs and call home.

Further outside the city were the Orcs, housing themselves in some of the older former human buildings before the island was claimed for the creatures, the forest was quiet for some time, but not for long with the Orcs roaming around them and possibly going into the city. The forest was largely claimed by the Orcs when they first arrived and most feel drawn to it or are urged into go into the forest with the rest of them by other creatures who feel intimidated by the race's height or stance, or as an insult by other races around the.

Lastly, within the city, the night in the slums and the more upper wards were completely different for some if not all, at night some of the nastiest gang came out to crack heads and take lives in the dark alleyways. Next to all of the smaller unknown gangs stuck in the slums where the more organized crime rings don't bother claiming due to either their business taking up a lot of their time or just lacking interest in taking the area or just not wanting to waste the manpower on the vast area.

Further from the slums, there was the most corrupted cesspool of the island, where most of the criminals thrived in bright light with some cops turning a blind eye to their antics, it was downtown. Disguising its true intentions with bright colorful lights, downtown was just as crime riddled as everywhere else, walk down the wrong alleyway where the lights cannot see you and you'd end up just as dead, as you would if you wandered in the slums. Downtown was the only place that most fat cats would live if.

Smack dab between both the slums and Downtown, was the red light district, the one place where the dogs from the slums would rub shoulders with people from the rich and bright nightlife of downtown. The main people in control of the red light ward are the Black rose gang, a gang mostly composed of dark elf street walkers who's lead by their leader Tarvona Moran, the owner of the rose garden.

Start of the Slum Shakedown

"Eeeugh like gall..." grumbled out a voice which was followed by scraping sound as nails were dragged across concrete. There was some jangling from a purse that had the barrel of a shotgun poking out. "I so told Crystal that yanno, I had other business to attend to, so like could she cover Porsche's shift instead of me." was grumbled out as the baseball bat was swung off from the ground and rested over the right shoulder of that lowlife goon named Mysva Kortis, but who most everyone just referred to as "Missy". She was dressed in a pair of cyan booty shorts, a white crop top with a bright orange 'KAHUNAS' plastered over her chest, and a pair of white flat-top shoes with an yellow pom pom over both toe caps of her shoes. While she was walking under a pair of dimming street-lights that crackled just enough to provide some light, Kortis paused for a moment and tilted her head.

"So what was..."
she mused to herself as she reached with her left hand into her back pants pocket to pull out a crumbled sheet of paper. Hastily the paper was opened as Missy secured the address. Smiling she returned the paper back to her pants as she walked two more blocks.

Coming across a land level apartment door she spied a doorbell. Missy tried to reach for the doorbell but failed in her first attempt. Raising up on her tippy toes she once again failed to reach the doorbell. With a sigh she simply banged her trusty-nail covered bat on the door. There was a moment of hesitation before the door opened revealing a human male with very scraggly hair, bloodshot eyes dressed in a worn hoody and jeans.

He slowly turned his head from side to side, "Pizza Dude? Where are you?"

"Eyes down here lad."

Blinking the man glanced down at Mysva with his eyes focused on her chest. Missy simply stared up at the man, who was slowly cracking a smile as if he were realizing something. With his right hand thrust out he gave a thumbs up, "Niiiiiice Kahunas dudette! Didn't know they started doing pizza deliveries; Supreme with extra cheese and hotdog stuffed crust..." The man began salivating as Missy lowered her baseball bat.

"Golly gee!" giggled out Mysva Kortis, as she wiggled her bat around. "I soooo wish I could help you with that, but you gotta do one thing for me first Kay?" The man slowly began to nod as Missy cleared her throat.

Solemnly she made her announcement, "Mister Loganson, you made a wager on the Belwyn Ballers about three days ago with "Tap Shoes" O'Mulligan. Your loss on this particular wager has not yet made it to the esteemed O'Mulligan; this is a very disappointing thing." Loganson's eyes began to dilate as he was realizing the situation that was dawning upon him.

As he tried to shut the door there was a swift crack of the bat at Loganson's shins. The man collapsed and began to yowl out in pain. Missy squatted down and looked at the man.

"I'm here to collect." declared the dwarf as searched through Loganson's person for money. "As a courtesy reminder let it be known the rates are going up but you will have another chance to pay up your debts." She took his wallet and shoved it in her purse.

"I'd go through your place buuuut..." she shrugged "I do have other clients to visit." Spitting on Loganson's body, Mysva walked away as that man continue to groan out in pain. After all she still had much more work to do.

Meanwhile in Downtown. In a Bar called Motor Inn

"Alright lads, today we celebrate another successful day!" Eldred yelled to a table filled with elves, all of them belonging to the steel lance. Eldred was the leader of the group at the table, being one of the Steel lances lieutenants he had enjoyed a big amount of power, he could do whatever he wanted as long as he listened to the founder of the Steel lances.

"Faeyor!, pour us some wine. we're a little too sober today lads." he pointed to Faeyor, who went to go grab a bottle of wine, while grumbling the way there. Among the group's hierarchy, Faeyor was at the very bottom, "One day I'll be the boss here, just you wait" his mind buzzed in anger as he went behind a bar counter, one filled to the brim with each kind of wine glass.

Eldred held up his glass, not bothering to wait for Faeyor. "100 Years ago we were nothing but a group of Tree-Huggers sitting in a forest doing nothing with our lives but being smug jerks. Now look at us!, we're the kings of this city!" a few people cheered, but Eldred quickly hushed them, "Nothing bad can happen to us, we're goddamn invincible!, we are elves!. we outnumber the orks and humans, we live longer, We're stronger, Better, Faster, We are invinci-"

All of a suddenly a hail of bullets came screeching through a nearby window, causing holes to blast into Eldred spraying blood everywhere, He fell over and quickly died, The other's quickly followed him, those who leaped up to avenge the death of their superior were quickly turned into pink mist. Those who hid only lasted seconds longer. Only Faeyor was alive, for he had hid behind a counter, his bones frozen in fear.

Jake Dawson kicked the door open, He was a human with a machine gun in his hand, a motorbike helmet obscured his face with a black shade of glass, he walked at a snails pace through out the room, the bar was now ripped and torn to pieces, the floor had been dyed red with blood and bodies carpeted the floor. Scumbags he muttered under his breath as he searched for survivor's, picking out whoever was still alive and kicking them in the face, causing a knife to fly out of his boot and kill the poor bastard. Fortunately for Faeyor he never checked behind the bar. Jake turned around and left, in the span of a hour a group of 20 elves quickly became a group of one.

The Red Light District...

A long line had formed outside of The Rose Garden, a typical sight for the club on nights like this. Nights when it feels like you have to let go of your inhibitions, your responsibilities, and just treat yourself. The main floor of The Rose Garden houses the modern nightclub scene; neon trim, modern design, loud EDM music, the kind of atmosphere that attracted the youth. Beneath the electronic beats and neon was the classic speakeasy style club. A jazz band accompanied by a live singer provided a vintage feel as businessmen and women of the underworld gathered to enjoy the night or forge deals. This VIP section was accessible only by knowing the password given only to those trusted by the Madam Vona herself. Individuals she deemed unlikely to cause a fuss in her domain. As for Vona herself, her office overlooked the jazz club from a large circular window. Her office was designed much like the basement level but it also doubled as a small apartment should she need to stay there for whatever reason. The office desk was placed across from the window, allowing the Black Rose boss to oversee the merryment of her customers below while also allowing her to spot any incoming threats. Two guards stood outside her door with her main bodyguard, a dark elf named Seleris sat across the desk from his boss who was carefully looking her reports from each of her lieutenants.

"Sel, could you please make me a White Russian?", Tarvona didn't even look up from the reports on her desk as she spoke. Seleris didn't hesitate to get up from his chair and walk over to the bar. "Just one, boss?", Seleris asked as he collected the ingredients. Tarvona let out a short chuckle as she finally looked up from her work, "You know me so well, Sel. Unfortunately it'll be just one for me right now, thank you dear." Seleris brought the finished product and rested it beside her before returning to his seat. "It seems this may have been our most uneventful month this year, aside from the inevitable brawl upstairs there hasn't been many problems in our area", closing the file before taking a sip of her drink she looked to the window for a brief moment before turning back to Seleris. "Jaani is here, open the door for her", before she even finished her sentence Seleris was headed towards the door. Opening it revealed a young dark elf girl, charcoal grey in color with red hair holding a smartphone in her hand.

"Ma, some Steel Lances got taken out downtown", holding up her phone to show pictures of the scene. Bodies were strewn about the room with the floor painted blood red. It was not an unfamiliar sight to Vona but having it be so close to her people made it a concern. "This was a solo job, wasn't it", her eyes continued to examine the pictures. One of the photos of the bodies looked to have a knife wound on them. Searching for survivors? Most hits would happen fast without taking the time to kill survivors. A single knife wound victim would say this was a hit on a particular person but it was done to more than one. This was personal.

"That's what I heard the cops saying when they arrived", that last part caught Vona's attention. "You were there before the cops, how close were you when it happened?", a look of concern came upon her face as she glanced back at the photos.

"I was across the street when it happened, I was on my way here"

"Did anyone see you go into to take the pictures?"

"I-I don't think so"

"Are you certain?"

"No, I'm sorry Ma, It happened fast and I didn't want the cops to catch me there"

"Its fine love, I'm not mad at you", Vona hugged the young dark elf before looling to Seleris. "Sel, have one of our boys watch Jaani for a few nights. Love, take the night off. You did good tonight"

Jaani took back her phone before smiling at Vona, "Thank you ma"

"You're welcome, love", Jaani exited the room with Seleris following behind her. Vona, now alone in her office, replayed the images in her head while looming over the files again. This attack came out of nowhere and if she had missed something that could endanger her enterprise she needed to correct it.

-Rin-

Earlier in the day, Rin made her way a scrapyard near the outskirts of the city, it was owned by an orc with a bum leg who barely cared for the metal he housed in the gates. Rin had been here many times before for scrap metal for her Kunai, this time though, she was looking to make something different than daggers and a junk sword, she was looking for a long curved piece of metal and a long piece of string for a bow she was getting her muscles stronger for a long ranged silent weapon. It didn't take long for her to find a windshield wiper and some old fishing wire, finding a good secluded spot in the yard where the orc wouldn't spot her, Rin began constructing her makeshift bow, but the second she made it, the thing felt flimsy when she pulled on the string, and when she aimed it at a pile of buckets she felt it would be a one time use weapon.

Once the sun began going down, Rin started to suit up in her black outfit, it had next to no protection, but it would make her hard to see in darkness. Armed with her flimsy bow, a single arrow, a hand full of Kunai daggers, and scrap sword she was ready to go. Her only next problem was who to attack, going by the eni meeni mini mo method, she ended up going after the black rose tonight, masking up before heading outside through her window and sneaking off to the dead light district. Being as lit up as downtown, Rin stayed on the rooftops moving silently around the back of the Rose garden, she was lucky enough to see only a couple of guards moving around in the alleyway and then she saw her enterance, a small air vent. Sneaking between them silently with a flickering light being some of the only section of darkneess in the alleyway, breaking her silence, she ran when the light started blinking and kicked a bottle as she jumped to the vent and stabbed kunai into the wall as one of the thugs turned to the flickering light and looked around suspicous.

Rin begain sweating as she used a second kunai to unscrew the vent half way before using her hands to take out the screws, sliding the vent open and climbing in, she crawled in the vents looking down at the clubbers dancing before continuing, she didn't exactly know where she was going or who she was taking out, but she felt that if she took out only one person, she'd be doing a little bit of good here, she began feeling as if she was lost as she crawled around and wondering if she was going in circles. And lost in her thoughts, she ended up putting a hand on a loose vent cover and fell out of the ducts and in front of two guards. Flipping to her feet, she quickly drew and fired her flimsy bow and the string snapped after the arrow went soaring into the shoulder of one of the guards, she then clubbed the other guard across their face with wiper blade and in the same motion drew a kunai and stabbed them in the chest, then brought the kunai across the throat of the other.

Once the two guards were dealt with she noticed a security camera was watching her and caught her every action she did, if she wasn't masked she'd be rushing to hide her face. Instead, she chucked one of her kunai daggers at the camera and broke the lens. She began running away from the room the two guards were standing outside of, she knew that going into the ducts a second time wouldn't work as a good hiding spot and taking on anymore of the guards without a surprise attack to get the upperhand would be suicide on their home turf. Running away would've been the better option right now, she rushed past an open door with a couple of dark elf girls doing a number of different things in a dressing room.

The club was roaring. The waves of people throbbing to the music, and rolling as though in deep waves. It was as difficult to get from one end of the Rose Garden, as it would be for a person to swim through drying cement. And yet, the small elf who timidly squirmed through the crowd kept his pace, even when he had to duck under a flying elbow, or momentarily join a thrashing collective. He finally managed to reach the entrance to the VIP section, and surprised the guard there by giving the correct password, despite his relatively inconspicuous appearance.

He quickly dashed up the stairs, out onto the sleek floor where the people were far more calmly drinking, chatting, and enjoying the relaxation only Madam Tarvona's club could provide. The elf made his way over to the entrance to the Madam's office, and knocked on the door. He had to meet the Madam, and the business he had to meet for was most urgent indeed. Despite the almost uncanny amount of average drabness the elf possessed, there was a hint of defiance in his bearing, as though he were the one who ought to be having lowly minions knocking on his door. Not that anybody would notice this, as it was awfully well-concealed.

A few hours earlier...

Yethel of the Steel Lance glowered as he listened in to the mic that his underling was wearing. He continued to frown deeply as he heard the sorts of things this upstart was saying behind the Founder's back. Some of which bordered on treasonous. The high elf sat back in the luxe leather seats in his limo, as his chauffeur drove them around the city in a semi-regular patrol pattern. An array of screens had emerged from the floor and ceiling and were reading out lists of datapoints for Yethel's perusal, but he wasn't heavily focused on the stats concerning the stock prices on Steel Lance-owned appliance companies, or how well the reception to the latest line of Steel Lance-backed fashion was.

Rather, Yethel was listening intently to the conversation transmitted wirelessly to him via an earpiece connected to a microphone that all of his men wore. He told none of them about it, naturally. Not even his high-ranking officers, especially not them. That would destroy their illusion of privacy, their ability to let their guard down and unknowingly tell Yethel how they really felt. And normally, the founder of the gang ignored the common gripes and complaints of his crew. After all, that was what it meant to work under an authority, to feel the oppressive weight of someone's will pressing on your own. However, the things that this particular officer were saying were actually causing Yethel to weigh whether he should hire out a hit on the elf. Totally un-connected to him of course, it would merely be an unfortunate accident. With propitious rewards for a very ambitious killer for hire. Namely, he'd "track" this goon down and kill him himself, destroying all evidence of any foul play. Though indeed, foul play in the criminal underworld was practically kosher.

However before he could pull up one of his burner cell-phones and arrange for a killer to receive a target, he heard a commotion over the com-line. After barely three minutes, there was nothing but silence, and the sound of boots crunching faintly on broken glass. Yethel sat, bemused that fate could bow to his whims so quickly. No, that wasn't the case. Although by no means a grave concern, somebody had laid a hit on his men. The Steel Lance had an enemy, who thought it stood a chance at bringing them to their knees. "We'll see about that," Yethel murmured, "Driver! Take me to this address!"

Yethel stood across the street, leaning against his limo, the driver patiently waiting in the parked car. He was completely invisible, as was his custom. As long as he maintained a reasonable amount of stillness, as when standing idle, he was completely see-through. Make a deliberate motion that disturbed the air, or take much more than a step in any direction, and his cloak of non-visibility evaporated. Of course, he kept the cloak up by force of habit, as much as due to the concern that he might be spotted. The limo would be a dead giveaway to anybody with half a brain in their skull that somebody important was dipping their fingers into this incident. That said, from what Yethel saw, the police were doing a fine job of mucking up the evidence, and generally obscuring any trail the killer might have left. If he didn't know better, and yet he did, he would conclude they were trying to sabotage the investigation.

No, the police were just that incompetent. Greedy too, considering a substantial percentage of his gross income was immediately set aside as dividends for the bastards. A secondary, even more substantial portion beyond the regular hush money was maintained in order to have hired men in the office itself, who could keep the other less malleable members in line. It hadn't taken long to slip his fingers into the police, but Yethel had certainly had his share of headaches keeping his grip on them. When the high elf felt he'd seen enough, he slipped back into the limo, and began conjuring a plan.

"Take me to the The Rose Garden."

Jake parked his motorcycle by a apartment, he was looking for some scumbag drug dealer named Loganson, Human or not, Loganson was a crook and all crooks need to be culled.

Jake got off the motorcycle, his face still obscured by the helmet, he had cleaned his helmet and clothes earlier, now he was now longer stained in the blood of twenty dead elves. he spotted his target, face down on the ground surrounded by some scumbag dwarf. (@Pleek) Jake had been spying on most of the inhabitants of Belwyn, he knew who was naughty and nice, he also knew where the naughty lived. Jake had never seen the dwarf before, he guessed she was just some other scumbag. though Jake came to kill Loganson, not this Cave Hoarder.

"Get out of here Rockhumper" Jake's voice had been laced with hatred. he hated dwarves, almost every dwarf he met was some greedy, smelly asshole. Jake walked up to her and shoved her with his right hand, he reached into the holster of his revolver and put it up to Loganson's head, he fired a shot into Loganson's skull, blasting his brain's onto the pavement infront of him.

Malakaus stalked the city streets, prowling an area known as "The Deep End", a place littered with addicts, beggars, and psychopaths. He was here to hunt for a certain someone who thought they could back out of a deal they made. His target figured that Malakaus couldn't really succeed at the job he offered to do, and now the guy was trying to run. But there was no where left for him to hide here. Even among the insane and stupid, none hesitated to let Malakaus know where the poor sod was hiding. Wasn't long before the orc ran into a young human, barely fourteen years old. The kid was practically pissing his pants. He tried to beg, but Malakaus didn't even give him the chance to scream. One twist, and the kid's neck was broken. All Malakaus had asked for was a key. He had ask so nicely the first time too.

Swinging the key around his finger Malakaus went back to the city and to a bank. From there, a fairly normal looking girl walked passed and and he handed the key off to her. She went inside the bank, and about ten minutes after she came out, handed Malakaus a watch, and the two parted ways. He just kept walking through as if nothing had happened. The watch Malakaus had was big and bulky, way too impractical for a regular watch. But what Malakaus wanted was inside. It was a special type of magitek battery that could fuel different types of big rigs and other heavy duty vehicles, but was smaller than a D-Cell battery. This stuff would've made a fortunate on the open market if the cost of making it didn't take millions. But for Malakaus, money was no issue. All he needed was this prototype so his gearheads could start manufacturing them.

Grunt work like this normally would be done by Malakaus's minions, however he liked making it a point that he could carry his own weight as well. He especially liked flaunting the fact that such a large, rugged looking beast of a man could get away with walking around in broad daylight with nary a single person to try and stop him; he wasn't armed, or wasn't immediately dangerous, and unlike some others he had no record of criminal activity. Not because he never done a crime, but because he was smart enough not to be caught doing it. Even now as Malakaus returned to his parked truck, any evidence of his existence in the city was being eaten away by the vermin and rats of the city. Corpses were being consumed by hungry madden orphans, and corrupt bankers removed any trace of the man who's lockbox Malakaus's friend had accessed. By the time he drove off back to his HQ it was like he was never there at all.

Due to a combination of factors which consisted of but weren't limited to, confirming the wallet had an acceptable amount of cash for a bit of payment before locking Loganson into a more devious stream of debt, failing to memorize the next address of another client who needed to see collections and being short, while Mysva Kortis was moving away from that apartment block she did not move away from this building quick enough. Because of this she had an unexpected encounter with a motorcyclist goon (@Warborn123).

As she was shoved Missy glared at him and gestured her nail-spiked baseball bat in his vicinity. "Oi watch wh-" and Missy found herself interrupted by a gunshot. Her eyes were dilated as she found herself drawn to look back at the scene. Yes this debtor learned that death was the only other inevitable besides his 'taxes'. With her mouth agape and lips quivering a bit she just stared at the scene.

"C'mon! Cripes what kinda savage... A straight up shooting just complicates matters." Missy exclaimed clearly exacerbated. She simply shook her head when a serendipitous thought occurred to her. She leaned her baseball bat against a nearby wall as she dug through the ammunition from her purse and pulled out her cellphone. As it was powered on she began to scroll through contacts before pulling up something listed as "Kalom's Smoking Hogs".

'Aisle spill; fresh pork on sale.' With that somewhat coded message texted out, the dwarf returned her phone to her purse as she collected her bat.

"Like hey dude, or dudette, dunno frankly don't care. Like I don't give a flying cosmic geode about whatever the bastard has in, you can swindle the place buuuuuuuut..." Missy used her baseball bat to gesture at the corpse of the ex-debtor and drug dealer, "This right here, this is my property now. So don't bother me during transport kay? Don't want things getting messy well messier." with that said the dwarf grabbed a hold of one of the cadaver's arms and began pulling. She glanced back at the motorcyclist goon as she continued to pull on the corpse, "Oh and sweetie, next time before you use swear words, at least us ones that have a proper context; can't be a rock-humper without the necessary chisel. Try gravel gargler."

Finishing with that quip Missy once again returned her focus onto moving the body away from this property and make her way to that particular, well as certain euphemisms would put it a 'road kill conservationist', or to those who prefer brutal honesty 'a black alley "doctor" who doesn't mind harvesting organs for others to sell on the black market'.

"Sir, we brought in Clopsy again, we are sure there is new information now." A voice came from a silent room. The room stayed as such when the voice faded as well, but it was this way only for a few moments before another voice came to the ears of everyone.

"Why..? I thought I told you to get Clopsy out of this business? What have I said, please tell me what it is I have always said.." The second voice rang out, a little louder, but still monotone and composed.

"You say.. 'We do our job, to protect the innocents from crime and harm, so why do we throw the innocents in harms way to fight it?" The voice stuttered as it spoke slightly, unsure of what to do other than answer the second voice. "Sir.. it came from the higher ups.. I can't disobey them.." The first voice continued on explaining to the second voice, the carrier of this voice shook slightly with trembling hands.

"You are right, I am sorry Johnson." The second voice spoke calmly and a man in a brown suit walked from behind a desk and laid a hand on Johnson's shoulder. "It was never your fault, it was mine." The voice said as the male continued on past Johnson and out the door of the room. The male then proceeded down a hallway and into a larger room. The room was much like a miniature gynasium, or a small workshop room. The room was a bit dim and there were no windows. There was a large table with a lamp on it. An empty seat was positioned on one side and on the other sat this "Clopsy" another male, a larger male than normal, an actual Cyclops, who held a bunny in his arms and hunkered down over the table. The thirteen foot tall Clopsy smiled brightly as it saw the second male enter the room, and spoke loudly with happiness.

"Mr. Alex!! Mr. Alex!!" Clopsy exclaimed with great joy as the male sat down at the table across from him. The male was Alexander, one of the Belwyn City Police Detectives, and a good friend of Clopsy. "Did we do something wrong, Mr. Alex? Why did they bring us here? Have I not been good?" Clopsy continued on speaking, asking a series of short questions to Alexander hoping for a good answer.

"They brought you in for information again Clopsy.. They think you know something, do if you do you need to please tell me. If you tell me anything at all that might be helpful to us I can get you out of here quicker." Alexander explained quickly and with a very heart-felt look up at the large cyclops. "Please, anything at all about the crime groups of this city, any plans, any dealings, any moves that were made.. We need to know.. I need to know, Clopsy." Alexander spoke a little more as he watched the cyclops. Clopsy had began to quiver a little and began to pet his bunny a little harder, but the Bunny seemed fine all the while.

"I don't know nothin' Mr. Alex.." Clopsy answered slowly with a shaky voice. "I never know nothin.." The cyclops added as he closed his eye and looked down to the ground. "I jus'wanna be safe.. I don't like this place Mr. Alex." Clopsy continued on speaking from the now even more so huddled position as he kept petting the bunny. "I don't know nothin.. I don't know nothin.. I don't know nothin.." Clopsy began to repeat his words, each time growing a little quicker and a little more frantic.

"Clopsy, please calm down.. I am your friend, Alex. I am not here to hurt you, none of us are Buddy." Alex slowly stood up from the seat and slowly walked over to the side of the cyclops. It was there that Alexander placed a hand on Clopsy's cheek and smiled at the large being. "You will always be my friend, and you know plenty! You know how to take care of Hopsy! You know how to make sandwhiches, and how to tie your shoes and how to do all kinds of things! You are the best guy I know Clopsy!" Alexander spoke with a vibrant tone of joy and happiness to Clopsy. The cyclops responded to it all well, slowly smiling himself as the words kept coming, his eye lighting up happily and his posture standing tall again and his hands softly petting the bunny, which was named Hopsy, and the cyclops sniffled a little as his eye watered at the end.

"You are right, Mr. Alex. Thank you!" Clopsy exclaimed happily before setting Hopsy on the table. "But.. I can't tell you.. can Hopsy tell you instead?" Clopsy asked with a slight frown on his lips.

"Of course, Hopsy can tell me anything. You two are my buddies." Alexander answered and then began to look into the bunny's eyes as it sat on the table. The two, the rabbit and Alexander, sat quietly for a few minutes while staring at one another. During this time neither of them moved, and the only sound came from Clopsy anxiously fiddling with his necklace made of silver. It was after a short few moments that Alexander nodded to Hopsy and then smiled to Clopsy and pulled his hands up to touch the cyclop's hands. "You two are free to go, and I swear Clopsy, I will make it to where you two never have to come in anymore, ok buddy? I will make sure you are safe, and I will always look after you." Alexander explained with slow, meaningful words to the cyclops and his rabbit. He then slowly led them out of the room and gave a nod to the doorman of the room, another member of the BPD, for their official release.

"So.. there was an attack that killed several Silver Lance elves.. Why wasn't I notified of this.. and it seems the Rose Garden is becoming more popular. Hmmm.." Alexander spoke to himself about some of the topics him and Hopsy had talked about and he would be sure to follow up on these topics very soon.

Where the life on the surface of the red light district was plenty. Under the surface laid another situation. A man wearing a green trench coat and matching hat and pants with a cane stood there staring at a man with glowing blue eyes and two others with the same eye color stood but wearing black shirts and pants. They were with the Shop owner of a Imported Goods store in the Red Light District. The ones wearing black were beating him and one of them grabbed him by the hair and slammed his head against the wall. The one wearing green smiled and crouched down.

"Now, Mr. Clovin, I think we need to make up for this little...situation, dont you agree?"

Mr. Clovin stared at him and looked at the other two before nodding slowly instead of speaking. He was badly injured and his face was swollen so it was hard to speak. Blood dripped from his mouth do to probably a couple knocked out teeth. The man in green reached forward with a black glove and wiped up the blood flow and brought it to his his nose slowly and sniffed it before licking it off. Then calmly stood staring at the Shop Keeper and then at the two men with him.

"I think as well as adding double your payment which would make it...oh $2400...thats reasonable..we are going to be taking Mrs. Clovin on a little vacation...one i think she wont want to return from."

Mr. Clovin tried to protest but he was silenced by a snapped finger and a series of punches and kicks. And the one in green started to walk away from the others as the beat on the Shop Keep and headed up to the surface and walked to the Imported Goods store. The wife of the Shop Keeper was walking up from the basement and she noticed her husband wasnt there but, in the darkness of the store the man in green was waiting. The lights came on while she was standing infront of a mirror and she jumped at her own reflection till she turned around and saw the man wearing green smiling down at her with a fanged grin as he stared down at her with his pale blue eyes. Cars passed by as well as some pedestrians as the lights suddenly shut back off and there was the scream from inside the shop.

Mean while also in the red light district a man in a red suit and matching red fedora walked up to the door of the Rose Garden and on his left hand a ring bearing the insignia of Blood Ravens. He pondered this before stepping inside and his ears started to ring with music. He looked around before he noticed some stairs. He walked over to the bar and ordered a martini before heading up. His posture calm and yet unsettling. When his drink was served he reached for it but stopped before noticing a silver decoration on the handle. He pulled some gloves from his pocket and put them on before picking up the drink and drinking it down. He then reached into his pocket and pulled out some cash and paid for his drink before walking calmly over to the stairs and headed up. He noticed the two guards at the door and smiled before walking over hands up with the letter in hand.

"Now now gents theres no need to look at me as a threat. I bring only a message from my Boss with a little extra for yours. If you could please hand this to her. She might like whats inside"

After handing them the letter and watching their gaze go down he flashed a fanged smile and vanished with such speed not causing any problems with them. The envolope stamped with a wax seal of The Blood Raven Syndicate and inside a letter written in blood and a stack of $1000 dollar bills at least $20 grand worth

@Pleek Jake only came to kill one scumbag, but it seems like he just found another, Jake pinned the corpses leg to the ground using his foot, all of her talk of cannibalism his stomach sore, it seemed to him like the city was getting more and more degenerate every day, when he first came to Belwyn, murder and robbery was considered horrid, now it was considered tame.

Jake set his foot down on the corpse's leg, Jake wanted to stop crime, he shot people in order to get that effect, he wasn't going to let this vulture of a dwarf feast off of his actions. "I'm not your sweetie, Gravel Gagler he retorted, he wasn't sweet, calling him sweet was like calling dirt tasty.

He lifted his revolver, aiming it downwards at the dwarf's body. "you look like a scumbag, are you a scumbag?. he threatened her.

"Look hun..." began to explain with an irritated tone of voice. She glanced back down at the corpse which that goon was currently keeping her from properly utilizing. She glanced at the revolver for a moment as she tapped her bat against the ground. She idly stared at the distance from the gun, noting that his finger was on the trigger. In her head she began to make some calculations on whether or not she'd be able to simply just quickly disarm the bloke with a good swing of the bat. Of course this had to be taken into account alongside whether or not she'd take the corpse with her and how fast this goon would recover from it. With these variables taken into account Mysva continued to idly tap her bat against the ground.

"Scumbag's a new one, usually it's just some version of gutterslut." Missy glanced up at the helmet of the individual before continuing on, "Good to see you actually used a proper insult though before, granted I gave that to you but. Look I could've killed this twit but I didn't. I have basic empathy. I didn't just shoot him dead in cold blood. Nor did I batter him senseless and let him bleed to death. I allowed him to live. Maybe he would've turned over a new leaf after this experience. Unfortunately for my line of work, some actually do learn their lesson after I visit and they turn away from gambling. Most don't, but they at least learn to pay on time."

Missy shrugged, "That answer your question?"

"Bullshit." Jake replied, his voice still filled with contempt for the hobbit, or dwarf. it was impossible to tell which was which nowadays. he pulled the hammer of his gun back, letting it releasing a small click just loud enough to barely hear. all he had to do was pull the trigger and there'd be one less criminal in the world, yet he hesitated, he didn't know why, perhaps it's because the dwarf had been talking. Jake tuned out everything his prey said, after all they were scumbags and they deserved it.

"I once had a friend named Greg, he's a nice man but he had a owed some loansharks a debt, so they sent someone with basic empathy to cut off his hand, rape his wife and blind his children." Jake spoke, enunciating the word "basic empathy", the word "Basic empathy" stung, like a lemon squeezed in a open wound. Claire had empathy and her head adorns a spike.

"I bet Greg would think that this is real empathetic of you. after all you only bashed in his leg's with a bat over a small debt. I don't care what you say, I kill people to clean this city, the people I kill deserve it. You kill because your paid too. You're nothing but another scumbag" Jake preached. "Get out of here before I decide the answer to my question. Jake threatened.

-Rin-

Rin kept moving through the bordello, at this moment she didn't care if people spotted her while she was running, she needed to leave the place. One of her weapons was broken and she didn't expect to be caught on camera, this went all down hill for her and she just wanted to leave and try again when she comes back later. The Kunoichi found her way out through a small bathroom window before noticing that she wasn't exactly being followed or chased as she thought she was, she almost believed that nobody noticed the two people she killed and being spotted on a camera.

After sliding down a gutter pipe and walking out of an alleyway, Rin made her way as far as she could away from the brothel. As she continued walking along she noticed that a guy was having a stand off with a dwarf across the street, one that looked really cute. Without knowing anything about the situation, Rin threw a kunai dagger at the guy's hand in an attempt to disarm him of the gun, it looked wrong for him to point a gun at someone without weapon and at someone who looked fun sized.

Mysva Kortis listened to the excuses that the goon tried to tell himself to justify the act of killing another individual; while Missy was a goon for hire, she had not crossed that line. After all why would you ever want a dead customer as opposed to a indebted living one? It never made much sense to Missy and fortunately, well at least for now, the collection of loansharks and bookies she worked for agreed in that particular stance of philosophy.

"Look whatever you say to justify your immoral actions and hate to break it to you, never killed. Never popped that cherry." Missy said as she glanced at the corpse for a moment, then focused her attention back to her bat. She tapped it against the ground as she once again began to calculate her end of that potential solution to this particular problem.

And that's when she noticed out of the corner of her eye; a kunai was flying towards the armed goon. Maybe he crossed a Triad or something? Well between that, and the earlier statement that guy which chances are he'd break now, Missy decided to just fold them. With that she let go her grasp of the corpse and scampered away.

"You, also probably that friend, crossed some actual gangsters sugar! Try not to die and think of it as Karma!" snarked Mysva Kortis as she blew a kiss at the probably-very-dead-quite-soon-goon. Running with her stubby legs, an unfortunate aspect of being a dwarf, she ran to an unlit back alley and hid behind a dumpster.

Pulling out her phone she saw that there was a text message from Kolom's Smoked Hogs. Without taking the time to read it Missy wrote down the message 'Other customer recalled. Sorreh :(' and promptly sent it. She looked from side to side before slumping back against the dumpster and heaving a bit. Placing her hand the gripped the phone against her face Missy grumbled, "That took far longer than it should have... And I still have others to visit. Great, just what I needed."

@Pleek@Spriggs27 Jake was done listening, The scumbag midget was talking too much, he squeezed the trigger of his gun, only to have it fling out of his grip when a blade pierced his hand, causing the gun to fly out of his hands into a arc, firing a bullet off into the sun. if however threw the kunai hadn't intervened, there would be one less hobbit in the world. The blade had dug deeply into his hand, a river of blood spewed down from it, Jake swung to the left, facing the girl who'd thrown the dagger, without hesitation he ripped the dagger out of his hand, he returned the kunai by throwing it right at the girl aiming for her face.

Jake knew he should've been quicker, he should have simply did a hit-and-run on Johnson, in his mind he believed that the assassin was sent from the Steel Lances, intent on ending his life for his crimes against them. had Jake been a average human being he would panic, but Jake was no average human being, he quickly unslung the machine gun from his back and squeezed the trigger, the gun let out a ear-piercing roar, a hail of bullets flew through at the assassin.

The dwarf's word's stung his ear's, if Karma existed, why was a assassin sent after him and not the dwarf?, he clenched his teeth, he lived out his life abiding by the law, he suffered in the sands of the middle east protecting his people, the dwarf did the exact opposite, to Jake, the dwarf was some piece of shit who beat people for money. Karma was indeed a bitch.

She was surprised that she hit the guy instead of his gun to disarm him, when she got home, she'd need to practice throwing her kunai. The next thing that surprised her was the guy removing it from his hand and throwing it back at her, she caught the makeshift dagger before it could hit her." Hey, thanks." She told him before she noticed he was gushing blood from his wound as if the guy never been hurt before or something, before she could react next the guy pulled a machine gun from his back and began firing off all of his ammo, right when the bullets began to fly, Rin threw down one of her smoke bombs and scaled up a nearby light pole in the cover of smoke and hopped from the light pole to the ledge of a nearby building.

Once she was on the roof, the kunoichi felt a wound on her shoulder. The injury was as long as a cut from a knife, but wasn't too deep, something that she could recover from in time. Rin stayed low on the building to avoid being shot in case the guy would get the idea she went up and she didn't want to get shot in the top of her head, she hoped that the dwarf got away and didn't get hurt.

-Jake-

"Coward" Jake muttered under his breath, he ran forth into the smoke, trying to catch the mysterious assassin before she got away, but the smoke was too thick and she was too fast, Jake cursed under his breath, a enemy that's alive is a enemy that will kill him. Jake sighed and walked back towards his bike, he killed one enemy and made two more, he got ontop of the bike and rode it out of the apartment complex, he headed back towards a small slum, where his home was.

After hanging around the back alley for a few minutes, while staying the course there when the sounds of gunfire went off albeit with a bit of cowering, she heard that things were settling themselves down. Take a few steps away from the dumpster, she turned her head to both sides to confirm the situation. Mysva saw some smoke that was still present and that something that went through it away from where she was. Kortis walked back behind the dumpster to collect her bat when a thought occurred to her.

She stretched out her arm that held the phone and selected the camera feature. Once that was done she flipped the focus so it would be focused on herself instead of at a graffiti covered wall. Brushing some hair aside Missy tilted her head, leaned her free hand on her baseball bat an smiled. With a click the photograph was taken.

"Weeell this should be an okay memento." Mysva Kortis said to herself as she reached into her backpocket to check for another name and address. Confirming the information she returned the sheet of paper back and lifted up her baseball bat. She proceeded to leave the alleyway and, well that's when Missy came to a realization.

She didn't know her way through smoke. But she knew at least one way around. She pinched her lips close together and tried to close her nostrils as left her bat aside and placed both of her hands down on the asphalt below. "Eeeew, eeeew, gross, like I'm gonna have to if I want to get to the rest of the clients aren't I..." grumbled out Missy as she began to shape the ground below to opening up enough to provide her access to the sewers.

It wasn't going to be pretty but it'd at least be a route of transportation without having to risk getting sidetracked from smoke.
