I posted this before about my characters Jon and Harris, please read if you haven't.
"One interesting, very important thing I want to stress to people is the dynamic between Jon and Harris (and maybe everyone else). Some of you know this from the last RP, and since Jon hasn't changed much, you do not need to be told really. But those new to Jon, I'll say a few things. He has a very secret and unique past. According to his profile, he works with the CIA, which is correct. He's not a field or counter-intel agent or anything, but he still has training.

Jon is...difficult to gauge. He will do things that he thinks are right, for the benefit of himself and others. Now because he knows it's necessary and right, he will almost never justify his actions. He considers himself above reproach to a degree, but it's also that if something makes sense to him in a survival sense, he assumes (often incorrectly) that the reason for his actions are OBVIOUS, and everyone else should see that. And if they do not, it's not his fault.

Enter Harris. He's a very smart, charismatic person and he's very intelligent at reading people. As good as he is at all that, he's even better at manipulating people. Now this does not mean that Harris will lie or con people (although he may), it's more that he can convince people to see his side of a two sided scenario. If it's him VS someone else in a debate, he has the uncanny ability to smooth talk others to his side.

Please keep this in consideration when you are reading his posts, because in this environment and with us being able to see behind the scenes, Harris is very easy to hate and Jon easy to like.

But some players have trouble discerning what they read between what their character SEES.

Please be cognizant of this. As wormy and conniving as Harris is, a LOT of that is because he lines his arguments, or even his lies, with pieces of the truth. And on top of that, he believes it. Hearing a lie from someone who believes it to be the truth is almost the same as hearing the truth, and that is convincing.

Keep that dynamic in mind. I am not saying "your char has to hate Harris and like Jon" or the other way around. But base your character's view of them on what they can view, and their personalities, not what you think of either of them."

If I remember correctly, for entrance into the CDC facility, one does have to be immune. So Marrie would have to stay immune if that were the case.

Nice to meet you too! Yeah the original was fantastic is very much bases on the characters and the personalities and relationships rather than the maiming of zombies. . However when the zombies do come there is plenty of action and lots of detailed gore. So its the best of both worlds mainly... I work alongside Mstk and our characters have a good understanding of one another and we dont like our characters to be super powerful so every zombie kill is realistic and a struggle. Try and keep it believable really

Oh... well I hope my character and writing is up to standard. is it? I don't expect a standing ovation or anything, I just don't want to pull the RP down haha

AnriuSB - Marrie HAS to be immune to be in the CDC program, as was stated above. So, PM me and let me know if you want Ivy to be immune or not and I'll adjust, but Marrie has to be. Also, wonderful post, I'm glad you took Anders and ran with him, I cannot stress how much I LOOOOOVE players taking initiative with shit like that.

Mr Ozias - Saw your PM, and since Exit mentioned you'd be coming along, I'll let you slide in late. I'm going to check you PM with the sheet and sample, SOME time today. I'm going to be running a lot of errands. Be patient.

Dark - your character is more than fine. Trust me, if I see issues, I tell them. Granted, I'm NOT the biggest fan of people RPing kids in zombie apoc RPs, but that's mainly just becaus I wouldn't do it.

I'm gunna be doing a SHIT TON of running around today and will only be accessing the site on my phone occasionally.

I'm fine with Sunday. My experience tells me that it is never good to rush things - it's the least I could learn after countless failures, a few good RPs that still never got finished and no finished RPs.

I'll keep up the 'more than fine' standard haha.

Also, I'll write another flashback post tomorrow. I'll keep doing it every one or two days (most likely every two days) until Sunday, whenever I feel like it.

Your character is fine Darkraven. You're gonna be all--right.

I was in the original RP and I found four basic rules that helped me not only thrive but enjoy it.

-Know your character and those around you.
-Respect the players in the RP.
-Post when you can.
-Don't try to make a character who is a super bad-ass.
