Hey, everyone. A few things:
A: I'm gunna be catching up today, maybe tonight, but as of tonight, anyone who's "in" will have their char's posted in the CHARACTER OVERFLOW THREAD.
B: I accepted 2 late entries based on looking at a few things about them. I trusted they'd fit in nice and all that. So Canoli and FinalCatharsis are in.
C: This question was brought up several times, a few times indirectly. In regards to the CDC Survivors, Officially, they start with NO GEAR!! However, they SHOULD, once aware of the situation (which will be revealed in my first live/current IC post), they'd most likely strip their rooms and stuff, and make ready for the trip.
D: Hand in hand with the above, there is an armory, but Bradley locked it. Whoever goes through his stuff (I'd assume Jon, since he's over him and would do it almost immediately), will find a key card giving them access and they'll find the following:
#20 9mm glocks
#5 12 gauge 870 Remington tactical shotguns (8 round capacity, 9 if shell is chambered)
#25 18 round extended magazines for the glocks, loaded.
#75 18 round extended magazines , empty.
#15 boxes of 9mm ammo, 75 rounds per box.
#15 boxes of birdshot shotgun shells.
#15 boxes of 00/SG shotgun shells.
#20 survival/pilot's knives. These are a single piece of metal, so unlikely to break/snap. The bottom can be unscrewed to reveal a compass, 5 waterproof matches, a magnesium strip and 3 water purification pills.
#30 empty plastic canteens.
#30 empty ILBE pack systems
E: All CDC rooms are laid out the same, with the following exception. On the second floor, where the 3rd floor armory is, there is a FOOD STORAGE room. On the first floor, there is an office with medical supplies.
F: There was some confusion about the infection. So here is a nutshell version. People can be infected but show no "real" signs for several hours, up to 36 hours. In that time, they may show slight flu-like symptoms, but they are HIGHLY contagious in every manner of speaking. After that, they start to get dramatically worse until they die. At this point, it can be 15 minutes to several hours before the corpse reanimates. At this point, the ONLY way to spread the infection is via bite/saliva.
G: Last, I plan to kick this RP off NO LATER THAN NEXT SUNDAY, 3/16. Get your shit right in the meantime!
Last, H or whatever, if there is something unclear, or you want to work something out, please ask.
