"Aye," Kai responded to Isago's comment, nodding in agreement. "We shall not need another job for some time if we pull this off."

A female voice then came from another corner of the basement, introducing herself as 'Stella'. Upon turning to the source of the voice, the teenager could not help but flinch ever so slightly when he first saw her. The woman's face was intricately decorated with ink, giving her a rather hostile and menacing look. However, after the initial shock, he was able to disregard her unusual appearance and turn his attention back to the meeting.

He leaned back and listened to Roxy's answers to the various questions raised by the adults present, until more of his attention was caught when the topic of how everyone in the basement was to be involved was brought up. Roxy clearly had a plan prepared, one that would probably require the best from everybody, but what exactly did she have in store for each one of them?

"When do we get to know who's doing what, Ma'am?" He posed a question of his own, somewhat eagerly.

Ratte leant back against the wall of the basement and considered Roxy's answers. She seemed to know a lot about the mission and something in her eyes hinted that she wanted to share this, that she was eager to get people on board. She spoke as though she had rehearsed it and she looked confident.

A kid Ratte hadn't seen before spoke up. She supposed this was a little past his bedtime and found herself smirking softly as he spoke, hearing his enthusiasm. She looked across at him, "I guess this is a sign up with your skills kind of gig?" She glanced across at Roxy for confirmation, "Because if that's the case, count me in as a thief. If you get me a plan of what this place is supposed to look like I can sneak in and out without being seen. Kinda my thing."

Reeve chuckled. "I have no doubt I would lose, and most likely lose a great deal because of that. Perhaps we could play without...bets." Reeve looked to Roxy. "I have one question. Where do I fit in with all of this? None of my skills fit these particular roles." He wanted to be a part of this as much as anyone else here, and he didn't want to miss out on the score that this job would yield. Ever since he had been usurped of his role as a noble, he had been clawing back his fortune bit by bit. However, he didn't think he'd be able to go back to a stuffy noble's life after the fun he's had with this lifestyle. Despite the lot being thieves, murderers, or something even worse, he found they had good humor and weren't boring like his old noble friends.

After speaking out his concerns, Isago took notice of the woman that had an interesting ink design on her face. When she asked about the security, which Isago was wondering, his attention went back to Roxy when she explained what roles she needed. Lookouts, thieves, and someone to basically fight the security. Isago could do any of these roles but the fact that there were some there with them that were smaller and seemed more agile while others looked as if they were good with recon, Isago smirked knowing what role he could take up but he felt that he could be more effective with this particular role.

Hearing Kai's response to him, Isago agreed with his statement and then with his other question, Isago answered to the others along with Kai. "Well young one, seems whatever we are best at doing, we could choose unless Roxy feels we can fulfill another specific role." he looked at the others. "As for me, I'll handle fighting as security. I'm probably one of if not the largest one here. I'm quite strong and I'm obviously darkskinned and a former slave. I can cause plenty of diversion on my part just from my appearance alone and for my actions. I have the talent of causing ruckus." he pointed out.

"Besides, I'm in the mood to strike some opposers down. That is if you don't mind me going on the offensive?"

Hearing the next guy speak that he didn't know where he fits in, Isago was going to leave it to Roxy to choose.

"I have been watching you all for awhile trying to discover who to use and the best use of each person's skills. You are welcome to disagree and tell me that your skills would be better used in a different way. I am willing to listen if you can give me a reasonable explanation I will consider changing. But I think that Ratte and Ahsoka are the best thieves of the group. They will work together to break in and steal the gems. Kai and Isago are the best fighters so they will be security. Stella and Tristan are the steathiest so we will be the look outs. Reeve you are right. You're skills don't really fit any of the roles I described. I thought the best use of our skills were as distractors. It will be our job to make sure that our thrives have the opening they needed." Roxy explained.

Ratte smirked slightly to herself, taking Roxy’s comment as a compliment and she pushed herself from the wall, stepping forward slightly. She eyed the rest of the group and a niggling sense of distrust began to sprout up in the back of her mind. She had always worked alone, or preferred it anyway. When she had worked with others it had backfired more often than not and now she was facing a huge group with a lot at stake and therefore lot of risk. She wandered forward and looked into the eyes of the criminals around her before throwing a glance back over her shoulder at Roxy. “I suppose we’d better start getting the more important information down then. If this is going to work then we’ll need some structure and understanding of each other. I for one don’t want anyone to fuck this up. I’m feeling a big weekend of drink and women, so I know I want that gold. When and where is it Roxy?”

A few present had begun to inform Roxy of their preferred roles and justified their choices. Others appeared not to have any preferences for jobs, and waited for Roxy to assign them their roles. She did just that soon after, naming everyone and telling the group what she thought each of them would be best at. Kai was pleasantly surprised at what Roxy had to say about him. Did she really think that he was one of the group's better fighters? He would have never thought of himself as such.

"It seems like I shall be assisting you in taking the guards out," he said to Isago, before turning to Roxy and nodding. "Aye, Ma'am!"

The woman who had first answered his question earlier then expressed her wish to know more about the people involved in the job, or at least, that was what Kai had assumed from what she had said. However, he decided that he would wait for Roxy's response before beginning some formal introduction of himself.

Roxy studied the group. The response wasn't what she was hoping it would be but she understood their reservations. This was a big complicated job. If anything went wrong they could all go down. This group weren't team players. They had no reason to trust one another. She could only hope the thought of a large payoff would be enough to make them want to try. "I didn't want to risk news leaking out. So the job will take place tomorrow. I would like the runners in place no later than mid-morning. The delivery is scheduled for noon. Security will be tight as the shipment moves through town. Our best shot will be when they reach the museum. Between the truck and the museum is going to be the weak point."

Tristan surveyed Roxy's plan. If we could strike on a perfect time the secruity would be unaware. He was starting to respect Roxy as a capable leader. A classic shipment raid but with high payouts? This is a rare opportunity! Everyone should feel as same as him. He pulled his gear and checked it. Lockpicks are smooth enough that they can pick a door if they want to escape, Knives sharp as a beast's fangs but a little the blade is a little rusty. He was ready to become a lookout.

"Best not be drunk......."

With the details worked at as much as one could do Roxy headed out. She had to hope that everyone showed up and d8d their job. She hated having depend on anyone. Especially a group. But this wasn't a job she could do on her own. Which left he no choice but to take a chance. She was controlling as man elements as she could.

The next morning Roxy eokr up early and made her way downtown. She would start the scouting. She didn't think anything out of the ordinary would happen. Unless someone got suspicious things should go smoothly. These where experts. If they did what they were good at everything would be perfect.

Everything sounded good from what was said, looking to Kai and giving a smirk and a nod "I believe I can trust you to have my back. I will have yours." he told his comrade.

With the mention of the weak point being between the caravan and the museum, Isago could see how they could pull this off because of how tight the security at the museum would be.

When the next morning came, Isago was already up and prepared to head out to get the fighting started. Isago was actually waiting on Kai to show up. Roxy seemed to have a good plan as long as everyone did what they were supposed to do.

It took what felt like years for Ratte to fall asleep and then as soon as she did fall asleep, she was awoken by the sunlight piercing through the thin hangings over the window. She had been dreaming about swimming in gold and jewels, surrounded by voluptuous women and guards attempting to skewer her with swords, spears and arrows. She blinked unevenly and ran a hand through her hair. She felt her stomach begin to tingle and quickly dressed herself. She couldn't help it - she was excited.

She had been scheming almost all night long and now was the moment they had all been waiting for. She pulled on and laced up her boots, concealed a small dagger in her left boot and tucked her lock-picking set into the pouch on her belt. She grabbed her hooded cape and left quickly. She made her way down to the rendezvous point and scowled, looking for a vaguely familiar face to know that she needed to get started.

Tristan woke up in a bed made out of crates and a few pelts. He was excited to get the job done. The things he want could be bought such as plated leather robes, a bed made out of leather and wool. And maybe enough money to enter the black market business and sell and buy illegal weapons. So he waked up early, he took a bath to make sure odor won't alert rooftop guards. He searched his compound and found torn sail cloth. He uses them make a white hood. He placed his throwing knives at his gear belt, his pair of knives at a small and hidden quiver, and most of all his lockpicking set which is at a small pouch bag attached to his gear belt. He then travels to the rendezvous area.

As he arrived he did expect to see Roxy all of the sudden. The girl is a blade in the crowd, so he looks around attempting to find Roxy.

Kai was excited. He always was when it came to big missions. He ran through the plan once more in his head, ensuring that he knew exactly what to do and when to do it. He especially did not want to disappoint Roxy, who was confident in his skills, as well as Isago, who would be depending on him to help get their part of the job done.

He headed out with his cutlass and loaded pistol tied to his waist. From experience, he knew to only use the gun when absolutely necessary. He only had one shot with it, and reloading it, especially amidst all the chaos that he foresaw was about to ensue once the gang struck, was going to be an absolute nightmare. Upon spotting his partner for the job, the teenager jogged right up to the man and greeted him with a "Good morning," before they set off to where they were supposed to meet the others.

Isago stood there posted up for a moment while waiting on the others. His sword ready to taste the blood of guards who protect those slave abusing type merchants. Well...Isago wasn't exactly sure if the people that purchased these items were slave abusers but he's ran into many where the majority of them were. Either way he was striking down the fighters of the caravan.

Isago turned his head upon hearing Kai. "Hm? Well hello there. Was hoping you didn't lose your balls last night thinking about what we would be dealing with..." Isago smirked in a joking manner. That was usually how tough guys and warriors talked to one another just to joke but yet rile up their comrades to basically show off.

Roxy wasn't surprised when her large group dwindled down to five. She sighed. She had been expecting it. She had been hoping for a better turn out but knew that she was lucky that these four had shown up. She gave them points for taking a chance. She would make sure that she didn't regret it.

"Since not everyone chose to show up Isago and Kai will be in charge of defending out thieves. Tristan and Ratte you are in charge of taken as much of the haul as you can. I will serve as lookout." She was used to traveling by roof tops so it wouldn't be a problem for her to be up there were she would have a clear view of what was happening. Four people would be alot easier to keep track of.

Ratte took longer than she expected finding the others in the group. It frustrated her a little that she hadn’t taken more time to memorise the faces of the group she was going to be working with but eventually she spotted the familiar fellow short member of the group. The small child that had stuck to one of the other men like a magnet. She followed him, then, as to be expected, found the taller man two more, one being Roxy herself.

Ratte pulled her hood down and tapped the kid on the shoulder, “Hey kid, you should watch your back more.” she advised, before looking across to Roxy and listening to her. She assumed Tristan was the other man beside the small group and she looked across to him, “Can you fit much loot inside that leather then tough guy?”

Kai shook his head in response to Isago's remark. "I ain't showing my heels, Sir. We haven't had a job like this one in a long time. I'm ready to-"

He let out a short yelp and jumped, his right hand flying up to the grip of his cutlass when he felt a sudden tap on his shoulder. He whipped around to see the outspoken woman from the night before. He released his hold on his weapon, sighing in relief as she spoke to him.

"Watch my back? But what-" he then realized that she had probably been using him to find the rest. "Oh, I uh... I'm sorry."

He paid attention to Roxy as she explained the new plan. Apparently, only about half the attendees from the night before had actually shown up for the job. He turned to Isago and nodded with a grin as the other woman addressed her partner, before looking back at Roxy.

"Understood Ma'am. You can count on us to give those guards a good beating."

Roxy looked up at the sky. It was about time. She headed to the roof tops. The rest of the details were up to the individuals. They were experts in their fields. She had to trust them a little. Still being on the roofs helped. She could see most of the city. She would be able to keep an eye on them. She saw the soldiers in the distance and knew the wagon wasn't far behind. It was time.

The caravan was lead by 4 soldiers. These were suppose to be the strongest of the land. She wasn't worried about them. She had faced their type before. She couldn't see the wagon yet but she could see the dust from it.

Ratte watched Roxy climb up to the rooftops and stepped back a little from the group, her eyes darting about, looking through the crowd quickly and assessing the people she saw there. She quickly formed a route in her mind's eye and glanced across at the others. "Guess this is it then.. I'll see you next with shit-tonnes of gems," she smirked and winked at them, before pulling up her hood and making her way into the crowd. She wanted to make herself blend in with them so much so that she wouldn't be noticed. She slowed her pace and kept to the side of the street, keeping one eye on Roxy up on the rooftop.

So far she had only seen Roxy hide herself calmly, then watch the distance. Ratte squinted to look in the same direction and noted the tiny dust cloud travelling along the road. She had time to get into position. She traced an irregular path around the street before slipping into a dark alleyway and kept close to the shadows. She followed it round to their target and assessed the building quickly. From where she was, the only way in she knew of was a small window or a small back door. She was small and lacking in both chest and hip volume, but she doubted that she would fit through the window. 'Back door it is then,' she thought, shrugging and pulling out her lock-picking set.

Along the road, the soldiers were gearing themselves up for an ambush. The cargo they protected was incredibly valuable and for whatever reason, their employer had asked them to bring his treasure to his museum in Luthias. The city was a nice enough place where the nobles were concerned, but it was notorious for the gangs and groups of thieves that thrived amongst its dark walls and long alleyways.

Each of the soldiers had been briefed and armed upon their horses. They had been carefully selected to guard the cargo with their lives by their noble employer himself. It was only a matter of time before they proved their worth.
