I don't want to be a party pooper, nor am I one of the DMs. I don't know how historically accurate our DMs want to keep this RP considering it's in the free category. Regardless, in my opinion the fact that it's listed as Viking RP should prompt players to create characters with some semblance of historical accuracy so I feel the need to point out a few things.

Equipment:
A modified set of half-plate armour that she uses. SHe also wears a black gambeson underneath.
A greatsword is strapped to her back, along with a longsword.
On her left hip swings a one-handed arming sword.
Across her chest are three throwing knives.
On her right hip is a dagger.
On her left forearm is a black and red buckler with her family's crest on it.
Family Crest:

First and perhaps most importantly. Plate armour absolutely did not exist in Europe during the viking age, and though earlier Romans had plate armour in the form of their Lorica Segmentata this armour did not last into the viking age. The armours of the time were almost always chainmail or the rarer lamellar.


Secondly. Longswords, these weren't in use during the viking age, in fact they only really came into use 600 years after this RP is set! Greatswords/Claymores/Two-handed swords came even later than longswords. Arming swords are forgivable, as they are what evolved from the earlier Viking swords but tended to have much larger guards. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viking_sword
Thirdly, throwing knifes are almost always a no-go in general. Javelins and hatchets do what they do much better.
Lastly. Family crests weren't really a thing, the first evidence of a family crest/coast of arms/escutcheon were evidenced by the Bayeux Tapestry from the 11th century. Wherein some of the warriors have shields painted with crosses and nothing more.

Once again, I am not a DM and it's up to the DMs to decide what to do with their RP but the historian in me felt the need to speak nonetheless!
