FBI used investigation to raid Manafort, presumably found nothing because nothing came of it.

I have to be perfectly honest, @mdk, that once I heard the Podesta Group and Mercury were and are involved, alongside Tony Podesta stepping down, and the dates Manafort is being investigated for all coinciding, I could not help but crack a grin. It is truly amazing to know that this is all they have managed to dredge, more fascinatingly there is also evidence to suggest they intentionally made no mention to the Trump campaign that the investigation had more or less started as far back as 2014 on these same issues. To add a crown to this, let us not forget that today was supposed to be "The Day" for collusion evidence...

... and nothing, nothing at all. Instead we even came to learn they rejected opportunities to meet with Russian leaders over legal concerns from the start as with Papadopolous. It was apparently even rejected by Manafort and was the White House who provided the evidence at all for the investigation.

Well yeah, this has to be a let-down for the collusion narrative crowd. But still, I was wrong about Manafort and I'll own that. Mueller apparently running a pretty tight ship, which I never expected out of the investigation -- some of those indictments announced today were a year old and nobody knew about 'em. That's a leak-free probe.

Whenever the story is "Trump isn't guilty," they seem to find a way to plug the leaks.

I believe that is the most crucial thing to pay attention to here when speaking about the collective events. There is no way any evidence of collusion between this particular sitting President of the United States would not have been leaked at this point. I might also add that it really is true now that Donald Trump is the most vetted president in all of history, a man with a near spotless record even amidst the non-political crowd. On a slightly different note, what is more amusing a result is that so many trails lead back to an ever expanding ring of people, many of whom whose name appears quite often in all these various scandals, but they do well to distract from them; I have noted most news agencies only really focusing on the fact that Manafort and Bush were part of President Trump's operations when speaking to the probe, only mentioning at the very end, if at all, the charges are totally unrelated.

Unfortunately, radical Islamic terrorism rears its head again, this time in New York. Thus far we know the man is an immigrant refugee by the name of Sayfullo Saipov who used a rented truck to drive down a bike path and strike victims, but had his vehicle disabled by a bus driver who rammed him to stop the attack. He then exited the vehicle, apparently proclaiming, some say screaming, "Allahu Akbar" several times, and brandished weapons - which may or may not have been actual firearms, the reporting conflicts. The policemen then shot him several times and managed to take him into custody alive.

This all comes roughly at the same time as the last remnants of the Islamic State calls for terrorism on Halloween night. The attacks are said not to be coordinated, but more are potentially expected. I myself am hearing a shooting, possibly connected to terrorism, just occurred in Europe.

Interesting tidbit (or not interesting, shut up), my dad takes that bike route all the time, and was there this afternoon just minutes before the attack. Y'all might've had to deal with a very extremely upset mdk if the timing was just a bit different. Kinda surreal.

Or anti-right wing, anti-conservative, anti-christian.

But isnt this coming from the same people who are like: why cant games just be games? And only Ess Jay Dubyoos complain about them?

Anita Sarkeesian got ripped apart because she didn't play the games she was critiquing. But if these guys think there is some 'left wing video game bias' which you can only kill white villains instead of non white ones, Nazis and not communists, Christians and not other religious groups then they clearly suffer the same problem.

Well obviously it's that darned liberal media, using vidya games to dechristianise/denazify the youths *shakes fist*

In all seriousness though, I think it comes with the territory. Games that include controversial topics invite criticism (even half baked criticism) and the developers themselves shouldn't be expecting anything else. It clearly doesn't dent their profits too much, otherwise these companies wouldn't carry on using those sorts of topics. It just goes back to personal taste, and how much influence you think the media actually has.

They're not wholly wrong, in the case of wolfenstein, for the devs of it clearly didn't give a shit about historicity. My favourite part is the "Christian zealots" in the Nazi regime when the nazis had already started an attempt at eradicating Christianity before the war's end and planned a complete annhillation after the war, going to show the retardation of whoever was gathering materiel for the story writing. A smaller bit though less important was that hitler and co. hated the kkk.

I wouldn't worry too much about it- misinformed right wing moral guardians have been whining about video games since the early days.

You mean a game set in an alternate reality where nazi's pilot armored mechas and have cyborg dogs patrolling their super castle isn't entirely accurate? Someone better alert the gaming authorities before it gets out of hand. Next thing you know the protagonist is going to have regenerating health after a few seconds after being shot, totally unrealistic.

Because if we know one thing about the wolfenstien series, they always strive for historical realism.

People that think pokemon is being used for deviant purposes I couldn't imagine what side would be so idiotic.

CNN blame Pokemon Go for Russian interference in election.

I mean no would anyone be stupid enough to say anime or manga in general could be used for deviant purposes...

CNN made a video saying all anime is child pornography, blurring covers that weren't even sexual/explicit to mislead their audience

Or...oh you get the point?

In all seriousness. It's not a battle of christian vs agnostic, left vs right...

It's old vs new.

Ya, know except all those darn sexist vidya games. Then we just get into the stupid/disingenuous category.

@Crimson Paladin Actually same message to you to. I can tell you right now. People constantly bitching about evil video games, has absolutely nothing to do with right wing hysteria.
