Name: Hanei Kagami

Yar, probably pretty important to run this by you Weeping, but is it alright if my character was given his powers by the mysterious organization? Sometime in between 2040-2049, he bailed and when the Guardians finally start getting picked off in 2049, he came out to join the Guardian Angels Project. They would know he isn't one of theirs obviously, but wouldn't have any information on any, if they existed, crimes he committed.

Hmmm, interesting. He could have a name, someone far from the top, so that they have someone to track down to add to the plot?

NOBODY LOOK YET! I want to see how it looks first.

Name: Silvia Blackthorne
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Appearance: 5'9"
Personality: Experiments to make her an Angel tried to remove her emotional response completely but only succeeded in suppressing them. She can't help but to be cold and analytical in both her words and her actions but secretly she wishes to understand the emotional connection other people have with each other. Silvia also has a strange fascination with music and human interaction, brought about by her wish to understand what she lost.
Power/Ability: Silvia was a failed experiment, unable to express a power during original testing. Discouraged, she volunteered for the secret Angel project where a chip was emplanted in her brain. Other sorts of testing worked at making her physically stronger. With no real power, Silvia depends on technology and her own two fists to fight off enemies.
In More Detail:
The Chip: This chip is emplanted in her brain to connect her with the city(traffic lights, security cameras, other chips...). This is standard in all Angel models though some may have a better knack at using it than others, and Silvia is one of those people.

Choice of weapon is a set of batons
Team: Alpha
Extras: Silvia's preferred past-time is training and will generally train alone, save for a brave volunteer, both instances accompanied by music in the background. She is also is obsessed with food, though doesn't understand why. If you've noted the young age, her father was a scientist working on the GA Project and used her as an illegal test subject. He felt extreme guilt afterwards and committed suicide, leaving her an orphan.
~Because of how in tune she is to her chip, Silvia is vulnerable to expert hackers. Any sign of hacking will automatically activate a fail-safe lock-down... Basically she faints for a little while.

Okay so that didn't quite work... One hider too many.

EDIT: No picture belongs to me... Just so ya know.

Certainly, with his ability I would think the organization would be very interested in finding him. The plan was to have someone who wasn't just a mere grunt, but a member of a special task force the organization likely would have.

I think the angels look cool. I like that technology makes them equal to people with powers.

I think it's a brilliant trade-off. However, I'm trying to come up with faults in the system... Not coming up with many.

Well, I don't think two of the same pictures are necessary, so there's that.

A good enough hacker, or someone with a power similar Rune's character could probably ruin your day. I doubt there's any countermeasures to an electronic being actively overloaded. There's probably also methods to block her chip from communicating with the network, or even just interfering with the signals it receives, causing her harm or the like.

Its not the same picture now though is it?
And I see what zombehs means, a EMP or other electrical current makes a angel a normal person right?
Also you could call that all her emotions not being removed is a disadvantage to the system too.

Mhm, All Becca would have to do is just overload the systems. Of course, they're could be fail safes in place within the system to prevent that from happening. Or not.

A well placed EMP could also knock her out.

I would agree with the emp, but also tie in processing issues where there is a delay between the information she recieves and when the server recieves it, also signal strength could limit her abilites. Particularly with your character who only has suppressed emotions, you could have her struggle with her morality compass versus the extremes of law and "Justice".
All angels could be tied too a central control network, that limits their effective combat strength based on the assesment of the situation.
Oh and how angels have political programming aswell, certain backers or officals show up in their eyes as a literal grey void.
Another idea is Angels have regulations that force them to prioritise key mission objectives no matter how they "feel" and can cause a mental shut down where the central hub assumes direct control. (this would work with a hacker subplot. And also renegade angels who are free of the system. In addition this idea would allow for factions within your own rp where the regulating of angels is a violation of human rights blahblahblah getting to into ideas that are not even going to be green lit XD)

Forgive spellin on phone, listening to lecture.....Trying to be ninja and stuff...

Here it is, go tear it apart.

Name: Adam Evans
Age: 33
Gender: Male

Appearance: Not very tall, 5’10, and rather slender, 155lbs, Adam looks rather young and is quite easily placeable; with his distinct white hair and sharp gold eyes. His vision isn’t bad enough that glasses are necessary, but nevertheless he does like to wear them.

Personality: It doesn’t bother Adam that he fills the stereotypical stoic soldier image; he’ll take it over succumbing to the organization’s conditioning. He can be rather unpleasant to be around, if only because of the fact that he rarely speaks, but nevertheless has a heavy presence. It can make for a rather awkward and intimidating silence. Factor in his serious demeanor, and he makes for a no-fun-allowed individual. Or at least one who doesn’t participate.

Power/Ability: Boosted Form: A bit of an unusual power, Adam is able to absorb an unidentified form of energy from any human that dies around him. While others call them souls, he just identifies it as life-force. Currently his limit is about what 30 people’s deaths would give him.

The absorbed energy doesn’t have any sort of expiry date, simply being contained until he uses it. What for? To buff himself. At the expenditure of the gathered energy, he’s able to increase his body’s capabilities; anything from increasing his reaction time or physical strength, to even bolstering the body’s natural ability to heal. Speaking in general, a single death’s worth of energy seems to increase the affected attribute by two-fold for several hours.

That’s not to say he can simply amplify the physical strength of his body thirty-fold though. The more he buffs a single attribute, the less return he experiences. The first use would double, the second might double again, the third would likely be around a 75% increase, and so forth until there’s no additional gains. There’s also the problem of progressively shorter durations for the increases; meaning at too many uses, not only do the benefits disappear, but the time said boosts last becomes incredibly short. It’s still useful in a cinch, but it’s not ideal.

Lastly, Adam can’t simply boost one attribute of the body and expect others to keep up. Super strength is useless, nay even harmful, if his bones can’t withstand the forces exerted. A better reaction speed doesn’t mean anything if his body still can’t react with his brain, or if his ligaments and tendons tear from trying to move that fast. Essentially, he’s always forced to boost his body’s durability and endurance to the same degree before amplifying any other attribute.

Team: (I will give you this)

Extras: It’s morbid, but he does need to spend time in places where people die in order to “recharge” his store; so generally hospitals. The range seems to be around a mile so he doesn’t actually have to be in buildings or the like.
He was one of the first working experiments of the mysterious organization, successfully completed in 2034. He first became active a year later in 2035, and was active up until 2044 when he dropped off the grid entirely. Guess they trained him a bit too well. Adam only resurfaced in 2049 to approach the Guardian Angel Project.
  • His feelings towards the organization are mixed. They did grant him superhuman abilities, but their methods were far from humane. Some of the others he met, he grew to become friends with, while he would have killed other individuals if given the opportunity. He had to kill for the organization, but then again, he had done so before they performed their experiments on him.
  • He has killed Guardians dispatched by the government before. Due to the varied uses and a lack of any markers in regards to his powers, he hasn’t been identified though. And well, it’s hard to recognize someone who was in full disguise.
  • In vein with his position within the organization, Adam has been physically conditioned and trained to an extensive degree. He’s proficient with a variety of weapons, alongside being a competent fighter in melees. Also has a deep understanding of combat and tactics; generally what most would expect from an elite of a country's special forces.
Yar, this is his theme. Suitably awesome throughout; never really gets upbeat, only invigorating; has a slow, even cautious, beginning; and picks up towards the end. Satisfying.
