Dan peers into the darkness, making two discoveries. Hawkeye Harold tries to psyche himself up, but instead gets maximum heebie-jeebies.

Aaron Goldfeld and Scare, the Law Holder stand ready as Father C comes up behind them.


Discovery 1/2: Explosives
The room is filled with barrels of gunpowder, sticks of dynamite, and big ol' crates of explosives. Some of it is spilling out onto the floor around you! There could be something useful in here, but you had better be careful. Things seem... unstable.

Any hero ending their movement on this map tile may Scavenge for Dynamite. This can even be done during a fight, but it counts using your attack action.

Make a Scavenge roll. For every 5 or 6, you gain one Dynamite. For each 1, every model on the map takes D6 Wounds without a Defense check.

This Discovery remains in this room permanently.
This room can be scavenged once normally.


Discovery 2/2: The Old Prospector

You discover an old prospector while exploring the mines. He looks at you with suspicion.
Cunning Test: Anyone may make the roll, but only one person can complete the test.

Cunning Stats:
These numbers represent how many dice you get to succeed the challenge. More is better.
Scare the Law Holder, Marshal: 4
Hawkeye Harold the Gunslinger: 3
Father C the Preacher: 2
Pastor Jimmy the Preacher: 2
Dan the Rancher: 2
Aaron Goldfeld the Scout: 2


Movement:

@Duthguy only the Explosives Room, which is the new maptile with C# numbers :D

This test is for one character only. There are others that influence the whole party or that pick a random party member.

Dan: Cunning Success


Dan and the Prospector have a nice long chat, and you can visibly see the Prospector relaxing and his suspiciousness fading. The rancher convinces the Prospector to leave before he gets into trouble down here (this place is just not too safe anymore) and the Prospector seems to agree with that, muttering about tentacle monsters and big ol' scary beasties.

The Prospector offers to patch up the party with his med kit to heal 2 wounds, but he realises none of you are injured and dejectedly scampers off.

Preacher Jimmy can't quite reach Square C4 so he settles for C2 instead.

Scare, the Law Holder moves up, frustrated about the amount of queueing involved in dungeon delving. Weren't there supposed to be dungeons and loot instead?

@DeadBeatWalking Oh yeah, just realised that Cavalry Sabre you just picked up conflicts with your Quick Draw ability.

Some options:
+ Have both your pistol and your cavalry sabre equipped, lose quick draw for now.
+ Equip cavalry sabre after the first round of combat, meaning you always have one slot hand free at the start of the battle, when most of the enemy force is likely to spawn.
+ Trade it with another player
+ Sell it in town
+ Discard it like an absolute monster and feast on the tears of GM and Players alike.
+ Hope you get horribly mutated and gain another hand.


I *think* that's everything you can conceivably do with it at the moment.
