The year is 2015 the next holy grail war was about to start once more with the church, and mage association preparing to take on new masters, and heroic spirits they were naively blinded by the fact that there were still people out there who were willing to exploit the grail. Many years have past since the Fuyuki Grail War, and with the loss of the greater grail more smaller grail wars had been propping up all over. A small faction in Poland known as the Grey Family have summoned several servants in violation of the Grail War's rules. It's intent is unknown but the Grey Family were known as mage supremacists, and it is speculated they wish to use the servants, and the grail in order to win over the world to their way of thinking. They have held fast in a castle forming battle strategies as the mage association prepares itself to deal with the threat.

Scouts sent to deal with threat were met with swift brutal retaliation and as such the only way to deal with this threat is to summon more servants to combat the 'Red' Faction. Met with fierce resistance initially the mages association has finally come to a conclusion that the threat in question must be dealt with. As such they had sent calls to several different magi be it allies of the Association, or mercenaries. The church has also proclaimed it's support for the Mage Associations 'Black' Faction as the brutality of Red has proven both disgusting, and an insult to the rules of the grail war. Hoping to wipe out the enemy faction the mages are gathering in London to summon their servants. The clocktower seeks to assist the mages in their attempts at destroying Red Faction before they arrive in Poland in order to defeat enemy summoners. Ruler has said to have already arrived in Poland to await what is to happen. However there is more than just a grail war looming over the heads of the magi for when they fight in Poland something doesn't seem quite right even more so than usual. With dark clouds in the horizon will Black Faction be able to overcome the Red Faction's power?

Hello everyone this is a typemoon roleplay based off Fate/Apocrypha but it is not a complete rip off. There will be no characters like Sieg entering the midst, and other changes. While it is based off the aforementioned it is not a complete rip off of it. None of the canon characters will be involved minus perhaps the servants who are allowed within power limits (characters like Gilgamesh (Archer/Adult), and Heracles/Hercules (god hand like abilities are too strong to allow into the roleplay. Because you can't hurt them without a B+ or A ranked Noble Phantasm). No canon master characters will appear in this roleplay.

I'd like people to keep in mind that I can allow nerfs to allow some characters like Lancer Cu Chulainn in as he has an instant kill move that hits a person's heart I can't let that sort of move fly. What's the point of a powerful opponent when you just fling your unblockable spear through their chest? If you're unsure, or need help picking/making a servant you may ask me and I will do what I can to help.

You may be a servant, or a master though I encourage you to play both in order to more easily weave the roleplay together. You may have a pick of any of the classes not already chosen.

I intend to play a Saber, or Lancer servant myself alongside my own master and I will ask for feedback on that if this roleplay receives more people.

I am looking for people who can write comprehensive characters, and posts. I am not looking for essays but fairly fleshed out characters, and posts. If you want to write essays more power to you. Magic in this rp will go by the DnD system of things were you can only cast one spell so many times before you need to let it cooldown usually for a long rest period. For example "I use fireball!" "3/4 uses left for the day"

Servants MUST be from existing legends, or fairy tales. Modern servants aren't allowed the most I'll allow is someone like George Washington, or a already canon modern servant like Billy the Kid. The characters may not be from other fictional works such as Guts from Berserk.

In the event that we don't get enough people for this roleplay the left over spots will be NPC Magi from the church, or mage association.

It looks interesting to me. I'm waiting on another similarly empty Fate RP interest check, though, so I guess if both this and that suddenly sprang to life the first one would take priority.

I find this an interesting twist on the formula, but mostly I just find it amusing that its set in Poland where I am currently working so its very close to home. XD. So you can say I have some interest in this.

I choose Poland in order to make sure there are few if any servants that would get a bonus to them via legend location. I do have some idea of what I want to happen in the roleplay but how it progresses will depend on characters. There are solid plot points that will happen though.

I'm interested. How long do reply cycles last? This is my main concern since I have a job ;;

I'm fairly versed in the Fate universe, and may have a character already. I'm either going to call Caster or Lancer at this point.

@MigyudonI'd like replies every two, or three days at the latest. I can wait more on occasion but it can't be a regular thing because stagnation leads to the roleplay not flowing.

Well I'd like three people but @ManyThings hasn't been on in three days. And I need to know if @IceHeart Ice is doubling up, or playing a servant, or a master. You can play your own master to your servant if you desire but I figure people prefer to team up, unlike myself.

There will be a full set of servants for both sides of the war plus Ruler and maybe more.

Don't fret, I'm still here. Also, you say there'll be a full set of servants for both sides, but we're just playing the Black side, right? In this PvE Roleplay, I figured black was the P and Red was the E.

I can play both as master and servant, no problem. Although I find a 3-person Grail War underwhelming.

I'm willing to go through with this though if we are just 3~4!

@MigyudonThere will be a whole set of servants in the NPC slots to fill out the rest of black cast. I'll wait a few more days if everyone desires to do so.

@ManyThingsThis is a great holy grail war. Each side has the maximum amount of servants not counting the extra classes. Black is our faction (the players), and red will be the enemy npc servants, and misc npcs.

I think it makes more sense to just double up. Also makes it easier to keep posting since you don't have to wait on your servant/master to make a move. Considering the size of the war as well it makes sense to play as 'pairs'.

I believe that myself however players may have issues not being in a pair. So I'm giving the option to be a single identity. It's a pain in my ass if someone leaves but the other alternative may not to have enough people.

This is very interesting, if you don't mind I'd like to join in with a Heroic Spirit that I have in mind. Would the location bonus apply to character if they originated from nearby areas as well like Denmark?

It would be a Danish character like Anderson who would innately be weak (or Little Mermaid... or any of his creations) as the Caster role. But if not then it would be fine working in such a niche or finding a stronger character for the playing field.

No to the location bit. It'd be one thing if it were Sweden, or Germany or the Scotland area for english servants but Poland is far enough away that a location bonus wouldn't apply. You can join in but so far most people are doubling up someone would need to volunteer to be your character's master or you'd need to make a master for your servant. @Migyudon has expressed interest in a caster role but he has also said he'd play lancer. I'd be fine with rolling Saber in that case. It's up to you who you want to play as a servant though I'd run things by me before getting started on any finite ideas.

I'm still shuffling around which servants I want to use, and I'm fine to use lancer. I've also been thinking if I wanted to use an assassin..

@Migyudon Oh goodness, I've finalized my choice to Assassin as well. Pardon my own fickleness but Caster is free after talking to Vance on what Assassin would be. If it comes shoulder to shoulder, I guess we'll be competing :P
