Yes! Feel free to make up your own Weakness, with its own Backdraws and Description! I will reserve the right though to Judge it in an Art Gallery Fashion!

@Lone Wanderer
The Burned Prophet is Immortal, and hasnt changed since he founded the faith! Sure, his size, fur and Voice has changed a few times, as has his personality, but minor details...

They won't be anything that special. The weaknesses I have in mind are just Skulkers at the Door, but for any animal that isn't a Rat, a Mouse, an Ironback, or a Swift Tail.

@rush99999

That sounds fine! As long as you keep its strength and ability to harm a whole Pack-Clan in mind!

A Clan would be less threatned by a Dog as an example, as they would by a Skulker (dogs being less sadistic and more stupid then a Skulker)

Edit:

Still working on the Layout of the mall! The mall itself will be a gigantic, Mulit-Level Realm of the rats and all its creatures, but its size will be kept as undefined! Keep in mind that rats have a different understanding of time, due to their shorter lives, and the fact that the Mall is in a constant state of Twilight.

There will be Four Levels!

The Cellar: The largest, and most mysterious place of the mall. In the night of Terror, most Pack-Clans have been vanished, and till this day, few that venture below ever Return!

The ground Floor: The great and Magnificent Entrance to the mall, leads into the Land of Bones, where the Dark Pack resides, lead by the Legendary Old Scar. A lot of Untouched Stores are around this area, but nobody is foolish enough to invade Old Scars Realm. Behind the land of Bones lies the Rat-Sea.

The first Floor: The Faith of fire holds an Iron Grip on the Offices on this level. Site of the grand Battle of the Hall of Burninf Water, this floor is contested between the two faiths

The Second Floor: (Still looking for a Unique spin on this floor)

The third Floor: This floor contains the great Jungle, a place from which all the Amphibians and Reptiles hail from. Overgrowing much of the space between the shops, its a strange and Mysterious place for most Rats.

The fourth Floor: Haboring the City of Glass, the most splendid heart of the Religion of the creators, hanging from the ceiling, its a realm of Great Riches, and countless dangers! The food of the Shops have attracted many Beasts and War-Clans, and the weakness of the Faith of the Creators has lead to infighting, futher loosining the grip on this Floor!

The roof: (Wip)

Again, I am always happy for Suggestions from the side of the players! Feel free to give me any input ya Guys have!

@Elgappa There's mention of fleets and pirates in some of your flavour text, maybe I missed a bit but if one of the floors needs a unique spin could large swathes of the mall be flooded and the rats have started treating it like a sea that needs to be crossed. I'm imagine some of them have made basic rats and a pirate king rat as claimed and toy RC boat as his flagship and they've managed to work out how to work its controller? (in my head the controller is taped to the ship)

The ground floor contains the Rat-Sea, the biggest Body of water inside the mall, with also forms a natural Barrier to the Main Entrance. Other smaller Bodies of water due excist on other floors as well, yet the main problem with that is...well, they are build on top of each other, so most water would flow downwards over time!

BUT! I am totally gonna take the RC boat idea! That...and other means of Transport!

@ElgappaThat is also a ship I had in mind lol

Okay... uh couple other store ideas...

The fire religion has an outpost in one of those stores that just sells fire places! They found it one day and just lost their tiny rat minds! Meanwhile across the store the creators religion has formed their Vatican in a DIY store, the ultimate place of creation!

For the second floor, what if it has a high concentration of stores that sell stuff like makeup, perfume and bath products? It has a reputation as being the most "Civilized" area of the mall where the rats bathe the most. Maybe there's even a pharmacy so part of the floor is considered a spa area that rich rats go to and is treated like neautral ground. While in another area their wealth and luxury has gone mad and they've even set up a Colosseum where rats and other beasts can come and fight to the death!

Sure! I wont post a player Limit on this rp, but I leave the option for me and Clock to simply Kill off clans after a long period of IC inactivity!

Any idea what kind of Clan you want to play, Mate?

Well, I had an idea that they'd be a mongol type pack living semi-nomadically and raiding with several turtles, and a very large amount of slaves, both smalls/mice and other rats.

Alternatively, I'd like to play a pack that has had heavy breeding with white/lab rats to gain much docility but also intelligence, faster breeding and cooperation so that they can have a much more organized society. They'd be a sort of monarchy/technocracy blend with the smartest/strongest/most charismatic rat being their leader, and he would be the first and among few of the males allowed to breed; his successor would be the best of his living off-spring, with adept use of creator devices and primitive ant-farming for food.

I'm leaning to the former since it is more bad-ass but it would be harder to make lol.

Also, I'm surprised there's no mention of ants/termites, or bees/wasps, they would be very fun to see imo

Wew. This looks damn fuckin' awesome.
So awesome, in fact, that I've decided to stop lurking and finally get back into forum RPing.

As for my Rats: How would you guys feel about a medium-sized Clan of disciplined War-Rats serving the Origlio as mercenaries? They could either serve as a garrison to one of the Ratpublic's border outpost somewhere near the Rat-Sea or as frontier border guards holding the tide against enemies of the Ratpublic. Their culture would take heavy inspiration from a Toy Store somewhere on the ground floor, and they would arm themselves with weapons and equipment either scavenged from or created based off of miniature war-game figurines (anything from Roman Military miniatures to Fantasy Army toys) and also organize their military with (somewhat) proper tactics and formations.

Only, this band of Rats will not be the most loyal of mercenaries and will at every opportunity try to increase their power and gain more wealth by any means necessary, so it should lead up to a bunch of interesting interactions that I think would be pretty interesting to RP. Would that be allowed or nah? @ClocktowerEchos@Elgappa

If not, I could try and think of another idea that'd be fun. I got a couple of em in my head atm. :)

Speakin' of which, what's the posting requirement for this RP?

@Kreegs The thing is that the Ratpublic doesn't usually go out of its way to make enemies since you can't trade with dead people. You're more than welcomed to act as guards in a major trade post just be aware that I don't even know where exactly Origlio itself is located much less its trade posts yet.

Also if you're going to get involved in Origlian politics at any point in time during your climb to power, you are going to need more than just soldiers to get places. And also preferably a shit load of money since money rules all in Origlio, without it you're just another large group of Condottieri.

@Andreyich

Both ideas sound quite interesting! I also tend a bit more to the first, since we have a lack of "Evilish" clans, and i like the nomad idea!

As for the Insects, the List is far from done i am afraid, but if you feel like it, you could make a tab for them like @ClocktowerEchos did! Then i will look over it, and put it into the Lore!

@Kreegs
Great to have your Interest then! Welcome on board!

The Writing is Advanced, with longer Posts and more detail. As for Posting speed...well, i am a bit reluctant to post a real locked speed. If Clock or I realize that someone has dropped out, we will kill of the Clan with a Warning, but lets see first how this RP develops!

As for your idea, Mercenaries are ALWAYS a fitting idea for a Culture of Rats! Even more so if including lots of Backstabbing! And while the Ratpublic will not go out of its way to make enemies, its richness will attract enemies! But i leave that up for you and Clock to discuss..

@Elgappa Sweet! In that case I suppose I can manage to keep up.

@ClocktowerEchos
Fair point.

How about having this band be led by an outcast member of one of the Merchant Clans (preferably a minor one)? With no way to climb up the order of succession with ease, this Rat figured it'd be a better idea to first carve up a respectable reputation and gain some money through work as a Condottiere leader. When the time comes, he could be a returning war veteran of sorts, looking to systematically tear down his Clan and rise to the top with the help of his personal army of War Rats and considerable wealth gained from his military service. Would that work better?

My working point limit for my Pirat-ratpublic! All in order?
Points 18

Richness: 3
Military: 4
Population: 2 (3)
Control: 1
Knowledge: 4
Ferocity: 4

Weaknesses: A clan divided (adds 1 point to population)
Extrraticated by Fire: A few generations ago missionaries of the fire came to the shores of the rat-sea to convert the wild folk that live on its shores. It looked be going well until the fire they set got out of control and burned down a jetty and several rafts and boats. This outrage was one of the rare events that united the bickering captains who banded together to avenge their beloved boats and save those that were left. The drowned half the fire worshipers and committed the vile sin of dousing the sacred fire they lit. Those that survived ran with their soaked tails between their legs and hearing the jeer of "Where-where your fire now-now!?" Since then the fire faith has held a vendetta against the Pirats.

@Andreyich

"Head he who will come on a Red Corgi, to take peace from this world..."

I really, really like the idea of Nomad Rats, and the general feel of your faction, but i have a few points to make out!

1. No Skulkers and Ironbacks! A Skulker is a quick and dangerous opponent for a Rat, and can easily take on multiple from them. Having three in the middle of your pack, is a disaster waiting to happen! As for Ironbacks...well, you could have them in your Pack but you ever have seen a Turtle walking on land? They are pretty slow, and compared to the speed of a rat, almost ridiculously slow! If you want to keep them as Weapon Platforms that walk, you can keep them!
You can Keep the corgies, for Stinkers would be dumb enough to be broken, once a fitting collar can be fitted around their neck!

- An easy solution to that would be to simply have most of the Carts be pulled by Mice! They are abundant, easily replaceable, and an "just-in-case" Ration all in one!

2. Having both faiths around is a pretty dangerous Idea! The Faith of Fire sees the Burning of every stature of the Creators as their hold deed, while the Faith of the Creators sees their burning of the Creations of the Creators as the absolute Sacrilege! You will have to pick one over the other...

3. The age of the Corgies! Remember that 3 years are equal to 100 years in Rat time! So if you want the Corgies to fully grow, your clan has to be of an fitting age!

@Elgappa Hmm, alright that's reasonable! I'll have the mice and doggies pulling the carts, and just slightly up the amount of slaves they have and say it's spoils of war after conquering another tribe, and they'll have slightly higher manpower since they didn't waste it trying to "tame" the skulkers. I'm curious about why the ironbacks though?

As for the faiths, very well I think I'll have them keep the fire faith since it seems more tribalistic and thus suitable for them.

As for the Corgies, that's fine. Is it okay if I say that then the Khan tradition has been around for a while and that simply the corgis have already lived past a few generations of Khans, aye?
