People who limit themselves to gender only in return limit their possibilities for roleplay.
Why not look into actual legitimate methods of screening RPers, such as comparing RP styles, RP preferences, schedules, posting frequency, etc. Why not ask for a writing sample
@Altered TundraAs evidenced by this very thread, some people change their minds and are willing to let go of these kinds of restrictions. It's not like the discussion isn't worth having just because most people aren't going to flip sides.

@PrinceAlexus In my personal opinion, choosing one gender over the other is not as simply as "limiting one's RPing options". When it comes down to it, it's about personal preference. Whatever personal feelings you have about it, be it because you like certain ideas and are blocked out because you aren't the desired gender that the person is seeking or whatever, it's not our place to judge. You can have certain feelings about it, sure, but putting others on blast like this thread has done isn't the way to go imo.
@Drache Yes, I know.
@Inkarnate Yeah because Tundy totally likes to kill these with his words.

I was not Blasting anyone, just presenting a opinion.
I said nothing about anyone elses stance on the issue.

Tundra did say "like this thread has done", not quite "like you have done".
but who are we to judge them for their choices simply because we disagree with it?
Some just feel more comfortable writing said sex/gender.
