Gonna put them up right now, even if their bios and service record are very crude. Just so their up. Mainly hoping they'll get accepted and that I can work on refining their bios and service in the next few days while not holding back the start of the IC. o 3o
Name: Venessa Faust
Nicknames: Ven. (Mainly used by Adrianna, but doesn't have a problem if other pick it up and use it)
Age: 37
Species: Snow Leopard
5'7" Icy Blue eyes
Bio: Venessa had her rebellious demeanor even as a child. Usually not doing homework, ditching class when she could, and And when she became sixteen, she became interested in the military. She served mainly as vehicle crew and ground infantry for her early years, and as such, made friends along the way, and losing them too. And though it never seems like she takes anything seriously. She can, and will. Especially if you can find a way to annoy her.
Outside of combat, Venessa can bet quite the talkative person, and is considerably laid back. But she does have a swagger about her. She will approach pretty much everyone in a casual manner. Usually calling everyone by their first names instead of by rank. She never liked the formal acknowledgments. And this usually rubs the brass the wrong way. Thus giving her some joy from seeing them trying to stay formal in front of someone so informal, and in their terms, "so disrespectful."
Service Record: So why would someone who acts like this still be serving. Her skills and experience. The brass may not like her attitude much, but they could never argue with her efficiency in missions. Thus she was chosen be be a pilot. But throughout training to pilot the GEARs, she constantly pushed to have a co-pilot. To have someone else with her in the machine. Never enjoying being alone in a vehicle, and the performance showed she operated better with a co-pilot. This was mainly due to her days commanding ground vehicles
And when assigned Adrianna as her permanent co-pilot. Venessa was confused at first. Wondering if someone she had pissed off was trying to get back at her. But figured to run with it and become friends with her. Even if the process of becoming friends would be a challenge. She managed to do it, and quietly laughs. Still thinking this was some elaborate plan by one of the brass to annoy her. And there she was, besties with Adrianna.
Name: Adriana Tessaro
Age: 25
Species: Fennec Fox
5'2"
Bio: Adrianna has a tendency to speak her mind all too often. The impact and effect of this usually ranges depending on how she sees the person, and what she likes/hates about them. This has been a problem since she was a child. And not much changed until she met Venessa. Though Venessa didn't spark some miracle change or anything. She merely became a sort of social censor and/or median, depending on the situation. And she is quite happy to have Venessa around. Enjoying her company, even if their occasional banter the two exchange with each other seems to suggest otherwise.
While she performs..oddly in the social aspect. All other aspects seems perfectly fine. And can do her job exceptionally.
Service Record: While obviously not as experienced as Venessa, she showed a particular interest and talent for operating weapon and other systems of aircraft. And while not some sort of prodigy child, she was learning quickly. After a year of service, she pulled into training for a new craft. The GEARs. And quickly adapted to flying co-pilot in them. Though she is still confused as yo why they wanted her in the GEARs, when she was doing just fine in standard aircraft.
Callsign: Jäger
V-GEAR assignment: VG-0D
V-GEAR Distinguishing features: White-Grey hexagonal paint scheme, with orange coloring on the edges of the wings. Flight helmets have similar paint scheme, with a orange horizontal stripe going around the center. Venessa's helmet has an arrowhead above the line, Adrianna's helmet has two.
Why? There's nothing wrong with either of them at the moment. They're both fine characters for the game; even their bios and service records are okay, but if you want to work on them a bit more then that's fine too. Not sure why you think I would have rejected them?

Cause to me, the bios and service records feel like rambling non-sense.
The bios and service records are fine to me. If you want to work on them, then you can. But from my perspective, they're fine. It doesn't need to be overly elaborate, just enough to give an impression. It's best not to make it too detailed anyway, as there'll be bits you'll probably want to fill in during the game with talking to other characters and as things happen or you get new and interesting ideas. I certainly did that in mine.
Just waiting for @VyperPunk to finish her character off, or confirm that they're ready. Then I'll get an IC up.
I decided to get the IC up and running, as we've been waiting long enough. Nothing too big to start off with, just getting everyone together and meeting up. Of course, in the best fashion, our training mission will turn into something else or otherwise be interrupted, but it seemed like a good way to get things moving right away and a plausible way to start as well.
I'll move things on as soon as everyone has made a post, or at the beginning of next week - which ever comes around first.
I'm actually writing a fanfic, I've never written any before and it seemed like a good excuse to start. I've had a Fallout: Equestria story putting itself together in my head for a while after reading some of the fics based in that universe, and I thought I'd try putting the ideas into action. It's going well so far, as I'm over 15,000 words in.
I'd like to post. But I'm unsure of what rank he wishes to give my characters, as I'd like to use their ranks in my post. :/ (And also to help others with posting responses and what not)
Also, he hasn't been on for 2, almost 3, days now. I'd say his novel is where all his attention is going right now.
Meeting the 50K word goal in a month is quite a commitment if you aren't already used to putting out thousands of words a day. Even if, by standards of a lot of MLP fanfics, especially the bigger Fallout Equestria ones, 50K is short. In retrospect, late October/early November was probably not the best time to start an RP, given the existence of NaNoWriMo, because we're just along for the ride at this point.
Looking in the characters tab @Slypheed, it'd probably be safe to assume they're lieutenants until corrected, and just make an edit. That's the rank everybody else has gotten.
