@LordofthePies I like it! Although some of the attacks are alittle confusing on the modifiers and Im wondering why you have flawed release if you don't have a ranged attack o.o.

So I updated the CS with the better skeleton that our masochistic pant crapping compatriot created but I admit I'm still a little lost on the abilities and all their mechanics.

Well for starters the target and rank of the abilities. Some have 2 dots filled some have 4, some have the first 2 dots while some have the second 2 dots colored.

@Excal, oh gosh you're right. I didn't even notice! Funny though how you're totally okay with one of the dog's traits being "Bad Gambler."

I'll change that quirk to something that fits, no worries. I imagine it's good other than that? Oh, and are the pictures being weird for you too? They're meant to be little icons but photobucket (on mine) turned them into ads. I'm also not super sure about the modifiers. I'd prefer you shoot me a message that has them be more fitting, because if I'm being honest, I have no idea what I'm doing.

Ugh, I hate Photobucket. It used to work just fine until recently. Now it wants me to pay $400 dollars (a month) just to share photos. That's nuts.

2) Crush (Critical)
DMG Modifier: +5% on a successful attack, -2% on a fail. Buff lasts for 3 rounds.
Accuracy: 75
Crit Mod: +50

The dmg modifier is how the ability changes base damage on use, so for my aoe the damage done is -50% of base damage rolled, so its not op. I think youre describing an effect. And for crit mod youre saying this has an additional 50% to crit right?

4) Too Close
User spartan kicks a person away from themselves, giving them space and a chance for a knockdown.
An attack that also knocks back those hit with it 5 ft. while (35% chance) knocking them down.
HM bonus: If an enemy is knocked down, hound gets +35 after a knockdown and +15 Crit after a knockdown.
HM: Hound jumps on the enemy, pinning them down. They bite and gnash at the throat.
DMG Modifier: +10 after immediate knockback, +25 after knockdown (as long as they are on the ground.)
Accuracy: 80%
Crit Mod: +2 after immediate knockback, +10 after knockdown (as long as they are on the ground.)

He gets +35% bonus crit for his next attack after knockdown right? I'm also confused how the modifiers are being used here.

In my little brain I thought it was just a buff to increase say the damage or the critical hit chance next time they were attacked or it buffs that certain attack. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that's not how we're playing it.

I'll just replace all of Ronan's with zero. Is the bleeding damage effect okay with my dog?

@LordofthePies Oh you can keep the modifiers jjst hope you understand how they work. Basically a modifier is just that, it does something to the base damage or base crit. So, one attack may have a high additional crit and some debuff to make up for it or poor acc. AOE attacks have negative damage modifiers since they hit nearly everyone and that can get op fast if you just use that repeatedly.

Effects are what happen after the attack, aka after the damage and accuracy and crit checks, so it applies a buff, a debuff, bleed or blight dots, ect.

Sorry for not really saying anything sooner, simply haven't had the time recently. Work is picking up for me and I ended up with a schedule that put me at 6 days straight working this week and I had 2 days from the previous week leading into so I've not really been working on a sheet. I'll try and get something up in my free time but I can't say when that'll be.

@Mag Lev Oh it's fine Nov and Dec are busy ass months, this is a casual thing no pressure XD.

Alrighty! We still need a full party before we actually get into the dungeon roaming, so that's why I'm alittle anxious to set out just yet.

However, we can do a standard rp intro scene kinda thing.

Okay, so, before we start some notes:

When we do start the combat and everything I'll do all the calculations initially just to get that off everyone's back, how it will go is:

I'll write up the encounter, and whether enemies go first or not (if they're 'suprised').

If the enemies go first I'll write up their attacks on you and the damage/effects, using the roll system from the website, showing the calculations in the hider.

Then y'all respond with your reactions and then attacks/abilities/response, although you'll just be posting what ability you're using and who you're aiming at and such.

(Sidenote: The only positioning I'm taking into account is front row/back row, so be reasonable if your character's attack can reach the back row.)

I'll calculate the rolls for you based on your ability/stats and write up the enemy reaction in the next post plus their next attack/response and so it will go til one party is dead or y'all retreat. Hopefully it won't be yours dying first XD.

When everyone gets the gist of it, I'll let ya do your own calculations for your attacks so you can write up the enemy reaction, and I'll just write their response.
