Name: Gideon Balmont 'the Broken' as he's been titled recently.

Noble Virtue: Shield of Camelot (Cast away.)

Gideon was a fierce protector, an odd knight that chose to use a large tower shield, a sign of his vow to protect his commander, his family, and his people. Since the fall though, this virtue appears diminished.

Knight Archtype: Deulist - Gideon was previously known to wield his great tower shield, however he no longer does so. Instead he holds only a longsword, under the premise of the best defense is a good offense. He focuses on parrying blows with great precision, and often strikes his opponents and grabs with a free hand.

Inventory:
-Two steel flasks, one if which is usually with the horse. Both are filled with strong whiskey.
-A wartorn Longsword, this is a simple blade, standard issue for many knights, though it has seen much conflict. It's maintained, though there are visible chips in it. It once belonged to Gideon's son, and holds a family sigil.
- A light courser (Horse) with saddle packs containing dried meats and water. Some simple bandages are kept for emergencies.
- Twenty feet of rope.
-A balanced hunting knife, in the left boot.
-And odd armor set, consisting of dark leather, steel plates cover the upper chest, forearms, and shins only.
-A scarf and wool gloves, some areas in camelot arenrather frigid.
-A hunting bow, armed with twelve barbed arrows for taking game.

Vows: If he has any vows left, he hasn't said.

Personality: Gideon has a fatherlike outlook on things, often harsh, but never wrong. He's always been a content man, his posting as a knight kept him happy, he did his work, and went home to his kin in before, never have ambitions above protecting his city. This at least, is what many of the younger men that were under him say.

Today, Gideon is a quiet, brooding man. His signature shield has been cast away, leaving concerned men to think he's trying to die, but if he is he won't say. Orders aren't questioned from this older fellow, he just reads, drinks, and doesnwhat he's told until the next fight. Sometimes he can be gruff, and rude, but some of the men say he does it in their best interest, even if he goes too far.

This is a draft I threw together on my lunch break at work, I will expand in hreater detail when I'm home, and at my computer, we aren't starting for at least a week after all.

Appearance: Arwyn has a rather... feminine appearance, he is short for a man, with a slim frame, one might even be forgiven for suggesting that he has a fine and delicate frame, though in Arwyn's presence such remarks will not be welcomed or forgiven, with his pale porcelain skin and fair brunette hair Arwyn has something of a complex when it comes to people mentioning his... femininity.

Vows:
Sir Arwyn has vowed that he will tell no lie and see no lie committed. He seeks Truth in everything he does.
He has sworn that he will not return home until he has redeemed himself.

Background/Upbringing:
Sir Arwyn comes from a minor noble house, barely maintaining position and status, their house historically being of a somewhat uncomfortable closeness to the old religion and the Welsh. He is their shining hope of redemption, at a young age his talent for swordsmanship was discovered and the family spent what little they could to have the best tutors... they could afford, come to train him in the sword and in the word of God. Years of hard work and the encouragement and expectations of his family have turned him into a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield, or so he hopes, he is somewhat untested and the weight of expectation lies heavy on his shoulders.
Alas all is not so peachy as even this, for Arwyn has also suffered such tragedy, his younger sister, playful and wild he did catch sneaking off into the woods to play and frollick and whatever a young girl does in the woods... with soft words and a quick smile she did convince him not to tell mother nor father and so when asked, 'where is your sister' he lied, come next morning with no sign of the wild girl he did set out into that forest and he did find her body, cold and dead. In penance, what little it is worth, Arwyn made his vow, the folly of lies shall pass his tongue no more. Perhaps, redemption awaits in the retaking of Camelot.

Arwyn made quite a stir in the duelling community, mistaken for a dreaming hopeful he quickly made a name for himself as someone to be reckoned with, markedly winning the Damascus steel longsword and Golden Cross of Christ he carries to this day, but the duelling circle is not a battlefield and Arwyn still has much to prove.
