And another thing for [@Everyone], the ceremony where you declare your allegiance to the High Queen has already PASSED. You all CAN'T just have arrived because the ceremony had already started and ended.

On the other hand, having your arrival officially announced at any formal social function, such as a state dinner, is something which would be acceptible practice in certain political circles. Usually this would be done by the Queen's maître d', but since no one else mentioned one being present Carmella had to make do with bringing her own.

Carmella has her own ornate chair, but that was just an attempt by her father to stamp his financial superiority all over the occassion, even in his own absence. This is something Carmella doesn't enjoy at all, since it also reminds her she isn't as wealthy as he is.

Some will be so political, and some may be genuinely angry, without much restraint, and draw a weapon, demanding that they be heard, or violence shall ensue. Such is human nature, to be honest.

And on the other hand, I never said that your character wasn't already there, or picking on you for having your character announced. I just wanted it to be aware that all our characters have already been here. They have already been announced elsewhere, for a different, probably much lengthier ceremony. So, if anyone wrote anything about first greetings or the like, they are either mistaken or so graveful late that they have caused a black mark- for being so disrespectful as not to arrive on time for the actual ceremony, and alienating their entire representative region for not declaring fealty with everyone else. Which would have severe political ramifications, even if the Queen dismisses the slight.

Don't forget! Literally every single day of the calendar has a patron saint!

If anyone's curious about seating arrangements, I think there should be nine seats (7 players, plus Gisela and Vulmar). From left to right, it looks like we have so far:

Empty chair, empty chair, empty chair, Chancellor Vulmar, High Queen Gisella (in the center), Valericka Luxta, Sir Aldrich Martin, empty chair, empty chair, with Lady Carmella in there somewhere. Just go ahead and decide for yourselves which free seat you're taking.
