In a small, relatively peaceful town, a Holy Grail has begun. Mages have been notified, and they have started their summonings. The time to take on a Servant, and fight for their life, has come. But things have already started being a little... strange. Mages have reported summoning Servants they have never heard of. These mages have studied history for years to ensure their knowledge about historical figures was up to date. And yet, none have yet reported a Servant from history. Instead, the Servants that appear are, while powerful, never before heard of. And some of them appear to even be from other worlds.
It seems the Grail has a sense of humor, as the Grail War itself is no normal war. The Masters have been paired in teams of three. Seven teams total, making for twenty-one pairs of Master/Servant combinations.
The Grail is up for grabs, the Servants are prepared. Let the War Begin.

Welcome to the Crossover Fate RP. In this scenario, characters from other worlds are being summoned as Servants either instead of, or alongside original Fate characters such as Artoria and Hercules. In this world, you may find Ryuko Matoi from Kill la Kill taking up the class of Saber. Or, one might find Ashe from League of Legends becoming an Archer Class Servant. In this setting, this is odd only because they are not historical figures. Each character who is summoned does not give a "Oh my god you're the character from that anime/game/movie/fandom" reaction. Instead, the characters do not exist in media in this world.
The setting is a small unnamed town in the middle of nowhere. The perfect place for a Grail War to some, to others, just an innocent town full of people who can get caught up in the crossfire. Some want to defend the Civilians, others want to harness their power. Others simply don't care about them, and will follow the rules should they get in the way. But one thing is for certain. This town won't survive the battle with this many Servants in play. Especially ones so powerful.
Rules:
Each player plays one character. You either play a Servant, or a Master. Not both. The reason for this is that to me, the most important bond that a character can create in these scenarios is between the Master and Servant. That bond is pointless if one person is writing both sides of that connection.
The cap for this RP will be 6 players. 3 Servants, 3 Masters. If there is any heavy demand for entry into the RP, which I personally don't foresee, then it will be pushed up to 8 total players max.
As this is a crossover RP, original Fate characters are allowed but original ones are preferred. Now I don't mean OCs as much as original ideas for characters who could be Servants. Doesn't matter if anyone has done it before, but Saber Ryuko, Archer CV-6 Enterprise, Berserker Natsu, so on and so forth, these are the characters that should be focused on. Alternate Fate characters are allowed too, such as a Caster King Arthur who never drew the sword from the Stone but instead became a pupil of Merlin, for example. Come up with whatever you want.
Masters can be crossovers as well, as long as it makes sense. Keep in mind that a Master has to not only know magic to summon a Servant, but has to have mana to supply that Servant with power. So characters like Lucy Heartfilia can easily be a summoner. However, keep in mind that no matter the original character's power, they will always be under the power of a Servant. That is the next rule:
Original Character power doesn't matter. They will be placed on a level of other Servants. If you play Saitama from One Punch Man, he won't be able to literally One Punch everything and ignore every single attack, so it's probably not a good fit since that doesn't match his character. Servants will be on the general level of a Servant, and Masters on the same level as regular Masters, albeit it perhaps slightly higher than what we have seen.
This RP will be based on the anime, more than the games. By that I mean I have noticed that people RP Fate in one of two ways. Either they focus on stats, such as "B Rank Luck" and whatnot and they base their whole character off of this in a 'will I win or not' scenario. The other way people RP is through the animes, where a battle comes down to natural skill, focus, tactics and strategies and all that. A more realistic scenario where any Servant can beat any other Servant with the right amount of planning. This second option is the one we will be going with, especially considering these are crossovers so they don't have such stats.
Story above Winning. Always remember, your character should have weaknesses. Feel free to RP them as the super tough badasses who always save the day, but remember that they should always have a weakness and winning all the time every time isn't fun for everyone. Sometimes, the story just calls for a loss, even though it won't result in character death.
Servants are picked OOC. If you see a player or Servant you like, ask them if they want to be partners. Same for Servants who see a Master they like. However, if partners are not chosen before the RP starts, then through IC means they will be picked at random.
No Guns - Specifically gun based characters. The most I will allow as far as guns is a character who uses one as a sidearm on occasion. Take for example Gangplank from League of Legends. His primary weapon is his sword, but on occasion he might take a shot with his pistol. Outright having sniper rifles, machine guns, assault rifles, or any other general purpose guns is out of the question. Yes this includes flamethrowers and rocket launchers and the like.
ABSOLUTELY no characters who can simply ignore Command Seals. Command Seals are absolute and the only character who could reasonably ever ignore one would be Hercules, and that's not really ignoring, as much as it is his own Noble Phantasm actively countering it because he's just, the Hero of the impossible. But you're not Hercules, so Command Seals are indeed, final and absolute. (However if it's a stupid command the Servant player can choose OOC to ignore it. For example if a Master tries to use a Command seal for "Have sex with me" or "Kill yourself". You cannot force players to do what they don't want to RP with IC Command Seals.)
Private RP is of course encouraged to flesh out your characters, so feel free to do so, either between Servant and Master, or other Servants. Or of course Master and Master. You know, any combination of people can RP...
