Reina is a high school student with an incredibly alarming love for the colour pink. Her hair is dyed a light shade of pink, with blonde roots peeking out barely through the pastel colour. Instead of wearing glasses, Reina wears specially designed coloured contacts in... you guessed it: pink. She has a small frame, proudly standing at 5'5". She wears a light pink (surprise!) tunic top with no patterns tucked into a dark skirt under a neat white lab coat.

To most people, Reina appears to be a young child with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. She rarely passes up the opportunity to study something new, no matter the topic. She may have a specialty in a particular field, however her skills in research particularly help her understand things quickly when presented as an experiment.

Reina is generally cheerful and an enthusiastic conversational partner, especially with people she finds that can keep her engaged. She is highly energised and can be found skipping to her destination. It is easy for Reina's mind to jump from one idea to another, entertaining each thought till another catches her fancy, and thus can seem to be in her own world at times. Even during conversations, whilst she has no issues with handling simple chatter, unless you thoroughly engage her it can be easy for her mind to drift. This lack of focus during conversations can easily make her miss quick situational cues, making her seem insensitive even when she does not mean to be.

On top of that, Reina has also developed a habit of keeping note of her thoughts, observations and future ideas in a small (pink!) notebook, kept on her body at all times. She finds that forgetting is a terrible excuse when you have such materials to use at your disposal.

Her love for knowledge means she loves to debate with somebody. Debating is the best way to gauge somebody's understanding of things she has yet to know, and picking somebody's brain apart in a situation like this is something she absolutely adores.

Reina was born to a large family in the city of Tokyo. As the youngest child to a cunning investment banker and the former SHSL Researcher, it was clear from the beginning little Reina was geared for success. There was little excuse for wasting time: if you are found not studying, you might as well prepare for a life of instability and poverty.

Studying, thankfully, was never an issue for Reina. She found herself drawn to books from the very beginning, much to her mother's obvious pleasure. Living in her family was highly competitive: not only for grades, but for the attention of the scouts of Hopes Peak Academy. Each child was hopeful to become the greatest of their field, however only two children seemed to make it in. Reina's eldest brother, Kaoru, graduated as the Ultimate Mathematician and soon Reina is to follow as the Ultimate Oneirologist.

Lilly Hart

Lilly is, as put by the Hopes Peak Board, “An incredibly talented hacker, a nigh prodigy in the field.” While her knowledge and skills extend into other branches of programming, her primary talent is finding, exploiting and breaching systems, allowing her to steal or destroy data, manipulate devices, and wreak havoc.

Lilly stands at approximately 5 foot and 4 inches, with short, greyish white hair, tipped with like pink highlights. She is of a slim build, possessing petite features, soft, pale skin, and deep blue eyes that drift into a light turquoise towards the pupil, and a particularly expressive countenance. While she bears something of a beautiful face and figure, her wardrobe is somewhat plain, boasting few particularly eye catching outfits, mostly consisting of unbranded shirt, jackets, skirts and trousers fit for most any occasion. Alongside this, she also carries a stuffed rabbit, which is somewhat worn from years of play, is missing an eye, and has a couple patches. She holds it tightly, often to her chest, and toys with it when nervous.

Quite the bundle of energy, Lilly is a very animated character, loving fluffy animals, parties, and anything fun. Due to her inability to talk, she is forced to make up for the disability through facial expressions, body language, and a handy device she developed with the help of the SHSL Inventor. She uses these to great effect, able to illustrate how she feels and what she wants to do without the need for sign language very effectively.

Lilly is also a very capable individual. She can easily keep calm under pressure, and has a selectively eidetic memory to boot, allowing her to identify and solve issues quickly and effectively, much the same as she does in her work (just don't expect her to remember your name). Her lack of emotional response in stressful situations occasionally elicits worried and curious questions from her peers, although she tends to ignore them.

Another facet of her personality manifests in boundless curiousity. She has an insatiable need to know how things work, especially when it comes to people. It led to her interest in coding, and hacking, and everything she ever does. She also expresses some blurred moral concepts, though she likes to keep them hidden as to not disturb or concern her friends.

Lilly hadn’t much of an eventful life before joining Hopes Peak. She was born an only child to a single mother after the husband turned tail and ran, with a disorder that rendered her mute at birth. Her inability to speak often left her at the mercy of bullying during her early years, and as such she found solace within books and computers, especially programming.

It was during her teenage years, however, when people finally took notice. Her exploits had gained her the nickname of UNAUTHORISED EDIT DETECTED within the hacking community, slated as a prodigy thanks to her incredibly effective methods and plethora of completed assignments. Stumbling upon the plans for a terror attack, that was the final straw - she was brought in for questioning, much to her parents dismay, and subsequently picked to join the most prestigious school in the world as the SHSL Hacker - Hopes Peak Academy.

Poppy Pennington

Unlike many other ultimates, Poppy looks extraordinarily ordinary. Almost frighteningly so. Her simple blue and white outfit reveals no clues as to what kind of hidden talent she might possess. She stands at an average 5’4” with a lithe, slim posture. She gives a frail impression, almost too fragile to touch. Her long brown hair reaches her lower back and is in desperate need of some styling, as it is going everywhere as if she spent the entire last year in bed. The most striking part of her face are her soft, kind light brown eyes. Her pale skin reveals western origins, much like her name implies.

Poppy is a timid appearance. Who can blame her? She knows nothing, yet she is thrust into this cruel killing game without any consideration. Her frightened nature is complimented by her suspicions for the others. After all, there must be someone amongst them who knows something about her. After all, who else could’ve put her in this position besides the mastermind? Someone is cruelly hiding the truth from her. Not to speak of the fear of death itself. She is like a shy mouse, sacredly trying to avoid what could potentially be a dangerous predator. Though she will try to talk with others, she tries to keep anyone at an arm’s reach at least.

However, these initial impressions will greatly lessen once she grows more comfortable amongst the rest. Beneath the layers of extreme caution is a person who really just wants to experience, to explore. Poppy has nothing, and really just wants to be someone. She wants friends. She wants memories. She wants a place in this world. These are things she can’t obtain from within her shell, but to get out of it will, naturally, take an ample amount of time. She is a very curious person In truth.

In truth, she is a rather sweet person. A quite regular, kind girl. The only way she really stands out amongst a bunch of ultimates is by how plain she seems to be. She is soft-natured, kind-hearted and rather empathic. Because of this, she has difficulty dealing with seeing others in pain or trouble.

A young girl woke up in a classroom. She was confused, afraid. Where was she? It was as if she had woken up for the first time in her entire life. She looked at her hands as if they were foreign entities. She had questions, but she had no idea how to formulate them. Not that she had anyone to ask them to anyway. Then she noticed something embroidered into her left sleeve with a black thread. A name? Who embroidered their name into their clothes these days?

Could that be her name? It was the most logical assumption. These were her clothes. They were, right? Indeed, this girl could not remember her name. Her mind was a blank slate, a void completely bereft of any information about herself. She fervently tried to recall what she had forgotten. But alas, she was a stranger to herself just as much as she would be to anyone else.

So please, don’t ask her about her backstory. It would be rather awkward.

Aurel Fuchs

Aurel is noted to have exceptional skills when it comes to snatching an item from someones hands without them even realizing it, or anything in the midst of the room in plain sight. However, this is usually done on impulse with no exact rhyme or rhythm to it all. To add onto it, he has the uncanny ability to sneak around without even trying, seemingly popping out of no where naturally. While he does have lockpicking down, he still needs to work on it from time to time.

Usually slouching over, Aurel isn't a very vivid individual aside from the clothes he wears, standing nearly at six feet if he didn't slouch as much. The height someone will usually find him at is around five feet and nine inches, usually with a dull or bored visage. His hair is just a constant mess; a jungle of white splayed out in random directions, looking nearly impossible to tame. Other than his wild case of bedhead, he does have smouldering blue eyes that seem to be usually devoid of passion, seldom lighting up with any bouts of curiosity or life. Finally, he does harbor a bit of an athletic build, more or less along the lines of a runners toned body.

When it comes to outfits, he is much more standout than his actual appearance. Aurel's usual duds are displayed above as he wears purple tinted goggles with a missing lens. He wears a black, sleeveless turtleneck underneath his peculiar purple jacket. It has an obvious triangular motif about the center and some parts of the sleeves around the shoulders are missing; design choice most likely. Along with that, he wears some baggy pants that went along with the set, and some black gloves. Parts of his arm have been wrapped up in bandages for some reason.

Well, for the most part, his childhood was rather uneventful and normal. Aurel was born to two German parents on the east coast of America, somewhere in a sleepy town of Virginia. Too good to be true with one parent acting as a lawyer and another as a stay at home mom; a perfect little nuclear family. Of course, their child did have a couple of issues.

Little Aurel was unusually quiet child who had some difficulty making friends and what not. However, he always had a tendency to... take things that weren't his... bah, enough sugar coating, he was a little thief.

It was around five years old when he started snatching. Of course, these were just minor things that seemingly wouldn't cost a fortune, ranging from spicy snacks that would make his nose dribble to the cutest of stuffed bears that would make any child squeal with delight. While it wasn't noticeable at first, his parents became alarmed over the amount of toys and teddy bear accumulating in their child's room, keeping receipts and the what not to identify whether or not they purchased said item... and of course, it did end up with little Aurel getting caught when their parents finally discovered the discrepancy.

They did return some of the items, lecturing Aurel and bailing him out of trouble, but it became evident that this was just the start of it all. Over time, his "heists" were bigger and bigger, more worrisome than the last. The family, for example, came home with a high-definition plasma screen tv without realizing it until they were unloading groceries.

They couldn't just return these items, namely out of fear over having their son missing out on future opportunities, and the fact that this could tarnish the Fuch's family reputation. So, they continued the same lifestyle, save for the fact that they were housing a criminal who had a penchant for taking anything he pleased.

However, a small organization of people did eventually catch wind of this, via pinpointing the location of where said thief was hiding. While they did think it was one of Aurel's parents, they soon discovered the error they made over who the thief was when Aurel managed to snatch some tasers and other priceless belongings from them without even realizing it.

Of course, this lead them to making a proposition with the parents, blackmailing them on keeping quiet about their sons antics and would reward the family a well, but in return, Aurel would help them. They ended up begrudgingly agreeing.

Over the next few months, America was hit with a crime spree by the organization known as the Crouching Tigers. While the name wasn't exactly original in many peoples eyes, they were on guard. Eventually they expanded to other places, concocting other heists in different countries. One of the more infamous ones was when the Mona Lisa was stolen once more and found in a mans apartment in Italy. While he was framed, the real instigator, but not the mastermind, was traveling home to Virginia.

At this point, his parents did end up becoming corrupted by greed based on how much money they were raking from their son. Their ideals became more warped when the Crouching Tigers ensured that the boy would catch the eye of Hope's Peak... and caught they did based on some of the videos sold to them over what Aurel did. Instead of turning the group and the family in, he was sent off to attend the prestigious Hope's Peak Academy as the Ultimate Thief, at the behest of his family, and the Crouching Tiger's.

And with that, he began anew.

While he does seem to steal indiscriminately, Aurel is noted for having a high count of stolen stuffed animals, ranging from the smallest of teddy bears to fluffy dogs that are as large as chairs.

Does a bit of gardening in his spare time, thought he does seem to favor desert plants over others.

Aurel keeps earplugs on him; while his ears aren't exactly sensitive, he just doesn't enjoy loud noises... and by extension, most music, unless its classical or soft, smooth jazz.

He seems to have a penchant for spicy dishes over any other type of food.

Seems to nibble at his index finger when nervous or thinking.

Aurel's hair color is completely natural, surprisingly enough; his father and mother normally both have white hair as well, lending it to genetics as opposed to hair dye.
