When you hear the word Slavic, what do you think? Would it help if it was condensed to Poland? Blond hair and blue eyes, that’s the general aesthetic to the women of Poland. Some still see it as the perfect race derived from history, others have dark hair with dark eyes. Senna, was gifted with naturally blue and captivating eyes. Eyes with such a light iris, they were practically gray. While not an ideal blonde, hints and tones permeated through her roots or when she dyed it of course. The clandestine girl stands at a modest 5’2 and weighs about a buck 10 soaking wet. Her smooth porcelain skin in combination with her hair and her eyes, encapsulate her beauty. Classically beautiful, it’s hard for people not to turn heads when she enters the room. Her doe eyed look isn’t the only face she wears though. Beyond her looks, her fashion could be described as alternative yet chic. Whatever look she goes for she can pull off quite well.

Although you would never expect it, Senna is very good at hiding her imperfections. While not traditional imperfections like acne or tiny teeth, these were imperfections nonetheless. Scar tissue exists all along Senna’s spine and some parts of her scalp, of course hidden under layers of hair and clothes no one has really seen her scars. Beyond having a body riddled with scars and cuts, her most defining feature is a tattoo on the inside of her right wrist. She was branded with a random sequence of numbers to illustrate her case number during the outbreak. Senna has come to terms with the permanent number and wears it as a reminder and band of courage to help her remember life before. When anyone asks its meaning she says it’s her parent’s anniversary date.

There’s two sides to every coin, some rusted into obscurity. There was an image of just one side to Senna. The boisterous and overly extroverted girl that made friends with everyone and anyone. Senna was never one to be afraid of anything, whether it was dancing in the streets to her own music while everyone watched and laughed or the first one to jump out of their seat to speak in front of a sea of people. She was brave in that fact, fearless in the face of mystery and the unknown. Something that would be missed. Being quirky and high spirited in nature, had lent itself to being her strongest characteristics. Her naturally free spirited mind and charisma led to the attraction of others, had she been sentient enough, Senna could create her own congregation just by speaking. Living in the moment was all Senna was concerned with and the company of good people and great memories to cement her time on the constantly revolving planet. A maverick in every sense of the word.

A coin toss, so simple and yet the chances are always so tantalizing. After the incident however, Senna never liked her chances. The once cheerful and high spirited girl, cracked like a doll. The remnants of her glass castle have forged quite the opposite person. Senna was riddled with anxiety fueled by her inclusion of her new found post-traumatic stress disorder. Once brazen and unafraid of the unknown, turned to unease and flight as her primary response. Any form of confusion or unknown makes her flinch in fear. Control has become a large stipulation to her everyday life, if she has no control of the situation or herself she’ll panic and either become reclusive or lash out in terror. Being monotone and distant from others has become her primary self-defense. The fear of her abilities have suppressed any wish to come into direct contact with others or any foundations of trust. Life was safer for everyone if she wasn’t involved, a stranger in every sense of the word.

Like anyone else, she has good and bad days. An untethered storm really. For the most part Senna shows flavors of who she was before the incident for the most part. There are only a rare and few times her sanity slips or one of her triggers acts up and sends her spiraling into her darkness. It’s always quite the gamble with her, hopefully one day she’ll learn to control her darkness and use it as a conduit for her powers instead.

They say superpowers are the reflection of one’s personality and spirit. Unfortunately, Senna wasn't gifted with anything as bright and colorful as rainbows or neon. Instead, the events that transpired had harvested and cultivated the negative feelings perpetuating from her that night to manifest her negative and dark emotions into her current power set.

Her first ability is her power negation, within a five meter radius of Senna’s being eveything becomes a dead zone for any other user with abilities. Having no understanding or control over the ability, the nullification zone only effects those who stay within proximity of Senna and her range.

Secondly her Darkness manipulation is sequestered since it can cause the most damage and pain. Senna can generate darkness from herself and project it forward to attack her enemies. For now she can form small projectiles in any form, but her true prowess lies in tendrils that she uses from short to medium range to compliment her negation powers.

As her appearance dictates, Senna was born to two Polish immigrants from Warsaw. To escape political unrest that had to deal with de-Stalinization after the war. And the road to socialism, which ultimately led to food riots and the eventual ousting of Gomulka. Her parents found sanctity in the confines of American soil. Like most immigrants fresh off the boat, their sights were set on the giant bronze statue of liberty which had the five boroughs in the horizon. Settling in Brooklyn, the couple found their new home. While her father went to work right away, her mother stayed home and cared for the house and sourced income from a side project that dealt with sowing and fabric. Eventually, the two had did as loving couples did and consummated their love constantly. As the decades shifted so did their line of work and living arrangement. Finally with years of wisdom under them, the couple gave birth to a beautiful radiant girl by the name of Daria Zaleski.

Daria led a rather normal life, filled with the love and affection every married couple could hope to give for their child. Daria was born special, her tastes growing up were rather diverse and eclectic. She would dance to her father’s polish folk songs as a child only to be bewitched by the sounds of old school jazz. Daria explored every avenue she could as a child, while she still had her unbridled reserves of youthful energy. Equestrian by the age of 9 to playing soccer in little league at the ripe age of 13, then of course the kiss of the spotlight from acting in drama at 16. Daria did it all and lived life to all of its potential, there was nothing she wasn’t curious to learn or experience. Daria absorbed the culture around her and that of cultures from other countries. Going into high school she picked Arabic as her third language to learn having already been bilingual in English and Polish. One day the name Sana stuck out to her, meaning “brilliance, radiance, splendor” in Arabic, having no middle name Daria adopted the moniker only in the form of Senna. That was the last day Daria would show any radiance.

The Virus, there was nothing like it. It tore through the streets like some rampant plague that was too close to a curse or punishment from God. At first it was only a few isolated outbreaks, there was nothing more than blissful ignorance and assurance the CDC would cure the proverbial disease, despite the death of the prom queen Miranda Shifflett. The timeline had other plans and raged onward, a name, something to attribute the calamity: The Barracuda Virus. Everything transpired so quickly, even Senna was pulled from school by her parents. The girl with no fear who knew no worry saw the fear that riddled the eyes of her parents. They were buying into the fear, the anger that made good people turn bad. Calls were made to Poland, the motherland. Should they move back to Warsaw? They already had their whole lives sunk into America, how could they just uproot their lives to move back? There was also a chance that the virus had already spread to other countries. Senna tried to keep the household upbeat and warm, yet her parents became shells of their former selves. They hardly acknowledged Senna’s presence as they were more focused on packing and listening to the news while keeping surveillance on their neighbors.

Day after day gave way to higher body counts, people were dropping by the dozens. The public was growing weary with unrest, when suddenly the first form of a silver lining, a survivor with an immunity gene. The flame of hope was quickly extinguished, what’s more was the virus was becoming increasingly powerful with no rhyme or reason to why it spread. Eventually, the virus worked its cold stringent hands into the crevices and cracks of the Zaleski household. The paranoid euphoria only expedited the virus that attacked their immune systems savagely. The first stage of grief was denial, her parents quickly attributed their flu like systems to just that, the flu. Somehow, Daria was unaffected and saw as her venerable parents that had raised her so highly, crashed down like foreigners cast out of God’s heaven. It didn’t take long for their flu to turn into the telltale signs of the virus, with bouts of vomiting and skin lesions, yet nothing attributed to Daria. The next stage, Anger. With their condition only getting worse the virus seemed to attack their brains. Daria remained unchanged because she had the resistant gene, this meant she had held out on them. In their mind, Daria wasn’t returning the gift of life they gave Daria.

In a hysteria the couple took Daria as she slept and brought her to what seemed to be a quarantined lab controlled by the CDC. Unwillingly and bewildered Daria was nothing but confused and stricken with fear as she was quickly stripped of clothes and identity. Her rights had been surrendered as a human, she was just a test subject with a number on her arm. A room with a singular window became her house, the only people she would see were her parents on the other side and men in white. Standard health assessments became more and more amoral. Eventually tests turned to torture, a halo placed on her head as they drilled into her skull, needles stabbed into her spine while fluid was taken to be tested, every night always ended the same, unconsciousness. With no sign of any cure and their lesions growing in size and severity, what little human empathy left residing inside led to the next stage, bargaining. Before another routine ‘test’ her parents stormed the room to bargain for her release in exchange for all the medical research they had cultivated. If they were to die, they would at least guarantee Daria would live.

Lucid from the halt of anesthesia pouring into her veins, the foggy apparitions of her parents and the CDC doctors played in her mind. The volume got louder until things turned physical, her vision became sharper and came into focus. “Nooo!” she yelled with her hand outstretched as men in black appeared out of the shadows and robotically shot bullets into the skulls of her diseased parents who had been in an altercation with the doctors. Daria’s powers activated with her sudden surge of emotional duress. Tendrils of darkness exploded from all around her and enveloped the entire room in black. Bullets deflected off tendrils that seemed to grow out of Daria’s naked spine, power had shifted hands. The guards and doctors knew the fear that Daria had undergone these past few weeks, the most subtle hint of movement alerted the tendrils, causing them to strike like a snake. Some doctors were dealt grace by having a tendril pierce their chests. Others had tendrils pierce their mouths, suffocating them as they dug deeper into the body. The guards were thrown against the walls like ragdolls until the only other color than black was red. Daria rose from the cold table and ripped the tubes from her body and simply walked out of the facility leaving carnage in her wake before collapsing somewhere with nothing but a hospital gown on.

Daria woke up shortly after and went into hiding, the memory of the past few weeks finally rooting themselves firmly into her mind. Experiencing her own stages of grief, Daria went into hiding until the virus had cooled over and schools reopened. Finally able to stand on her own two feet, Daria decided to go back to school and enroll in Midwood High under the alias of Senna and the masquerade of a new hair color.

Senna spends most of her time being a wallflower now, idly hanging around the rooms of clubs she used to frequent like a lost soul. Senna usually spends most of her time people watching and hanging out atop the local water tower.

Felix Alexander Ashford Jr.

Felix' personal appearance has gone through a radical change, to the point he has some trouble recognizing himself in the mirror. His previously pimpled, oily skin has gotten tanned and smooth, his face completely clear of the many previous blemishes that used to plague him. His hair actually has some shine to it, and now he's actually attractive. Weird. He always had some muscle due to his interest in track, but admittedly he's never been so bulky. His height stays at five feet nine inches, and apparently his smile has been described as dazzling. Whatever the case, he's gone from zero to hero, though he is unsure how to feel about it.

Eternally confused is the best way to describe Felix. He prefers to go with the flow, always keeping his head down as a previous victim of some rather harsh bullying. He's on the quieter side of things, though very expressive and unable to hide how he feels as his face is always a dead give away. He has a lot of patience for most things, takes insults with stride, and would rather hang off to the side than be the center of attention.
He is rather book smart, having loved books since he was young. Interacting with people socially isn't a big deal, but he often has trouble picking up on cues and subtleties, with sarcasm and jokes often flying over his head. Still, he keeps his spirits up to the best of his ability.

Plant Manipulation
The ability to control plants. Or at least, that's what his powers are supposed to be, but as of right now, just walking past a plant causes it to explode into a pile of leaves. Or rather, he accidentally accelerates its growth and enhances it so much that...that it often explodes. Yeah. Well he's been working on trying to get them to move, and can sort of pull it off? Maybe? They move a little! Though the larger the plant the less he's able to get it to move. Vines seem to be easiest at the moment.
Pheromone Manipulation
A side affect of his plant powers, or so he believes. It's made him quite the charmer, drawing in female (and sometimes even male) admirers. It certainly gives him more attention than he knows what to do with, though admittedly he has no idea how to turn it off. He thinks this is also the cause of his sudden attractiveness.

Born in the Bronx, Felix grew up having a modest life, but as a child he was rather timid in nature. His passive personality often made him an easy target, and his inablity to defend himself resulted in a lot of injuries. He hid his bullying from his parents rather well, and despite having no friends, he was content with his comics and eventually with video games as well. He gained a passion for writing as he got older, supposedly inheriting it from his father, and got along well with his younger sister despite her rather forceful personality.
The Ashford Marketing Corporation would grow, allowing the family to live rather comfortably compared to most people by the time Felix hit middle school. The sudden surge of wealth didn't change much for him and he carried on his life. Things did change when the virus hit, with several of his classmates dying, and he never would have imagined getting affected himself. His mother would often throw money whenever she could, hoping to save her children, but as they say, money couldn't buy everything. Of course, Felix would find himself changing in an unexpected way, unsure how to handle things...especially with recent developments.

Alec possesses an athletic build, standing at 5'11.5" or so. However, he does lean on the lighter side of a typical weight for his height, and that is in order to have as much speed as possible maintaining physiological balance. As much as people would like to think, he doesn't focus on his legs during weight training. He maintains his signature buzz cut, getting it trimmed weekly as he has no time for the constant maintenance a longer hairstyle would require. Alec also insists on not having earrings, tattoos, or anything of that sort. However, this is based heavily on the basis that he "can't fucking handle [needles]".

His operation wear will consist of a uniform heavily reminiscent of Marvel's beloved Deadpool. It is nearly identical, down to the colors and everything like that. However, he opts to not wear a mask since he wants to maintain his peripheral vision. He tried that mask shit once and he got blindsided by some dumbass mook who had ended up meeting 18 rounds of 9x19mm. He has a chest rig that is custom tailored by the Coalition so that he is able to access it and deploy it in a very smooth, and efficient movement. The tailoring of that rig required a long, tedious process of countless experiments to find the position that resulted in the least time from being neutral to being deployed.

Outside of operation, he is seen wearing a lot of clothing of the athletic variant. Like always, he doesn't have time to figure out a suave looking outfit (although if he needs to do so he is more than capable of making it happen). He fucks with Nike the most, but he'll wear anything from Under Armour to some cheapass brand he found at a discount store.

Ambitious when it comes to being a hero, because it's the one thing he feels he has going for him, however he is lazy when it comes to literally everything else because he has no desire to put in the time for it. Alec, is of course also very expressive as a result of his upbringing. He's also fearless and sharp as is customary with someone with his abilities. Alec is also known for consistently cutting corners to speed up processes. Efficiency is key for him. Finally, he finds comfort in being on his phone often.

Super Speed is the name of his game. The way his rendition of the ability works allows him to effectively penetrate enemy lines from a variety of angles. Whether it'd be from the flank or right through the line, he can do it all. Just don't let anyone touch him while he's on his way.

• Charge - This is one of Alec's most utilized abilities. If he manages to reach a speed of 200 miles per hour, he is able to smash through targets for a length ranging from 25-50 meters. It is heavily dependent on his momentum, and requires him to be untouched so that he is able to achieve said speed. The ability is typically used on smaller, squishier targets such as humanoids or crates of wood. However, rumor has it that if he is able to sustain his top speed of approximately 295 mph for a significant amount of time, he is able to make quite the dent in the most... impenetrable of targets.
• Blitz - This ability allows Alec to jump a distance equivalent to the width of 136 feet. He does require a little bit of distance beforehand to charge. Once the conditions are satisfied, he can be seen soaring through the air. In some occasions the ability can be used twice in a row, depending on the severity of the situation.
• The Anklebreaker - Named for what usually results from its use, this ability has Alec shifting to a distance of, at the most, 10 meters in any direction he so desires.

Common knowledge; things that your close friends know about.
Alec had come across the virus under mysterious circumstances. As in he just one day he just got it and it never left. He quickly embraced his role as a "harasser". Typically he's seen as a very laid back man, often choosing to cut corners on pretty much every task he does as a part of his sped-up lifestyle. He is usually seen lounging about on a seat of some sorts. Alec lives life at a fast pace, very rarely does he ever slow down for anyone or anything.

He is from Detroit, Michigan.

He either runs or he just lounges around in his household and doing whatever he feels like.

Roman Augustus Fellus

Grimaldi’s Pizzeria, "And it's as good as he'll ever get. Kid's lucky I owe his mom. Now that was a fine lady. How do you think her kid winds up like this?"

Big kid is the first way to describe Roman. He's 6'8 and nobody knows why or how. His mom was a small lady, real pretty. Roman looks like he's been hit with a few sledgehammers in his time. His face seems flat, like a brick wall kinda. His chin is the very first thing most people refer to. It's kind of like the head of a hammer in a way, where it complements the flatness of his face. His nose is about the only part of his face that sticks out. It's usually the first target in a fist fight, but despite how many try to cave it in, it keeps coming back to that shape. Though the rest of his face tends to be hidden by his hair, which despite all the washing, looks greasy. He won't get it cut. Getting it cut is too expensive, so he just snips it off when it gets too far.
The rest of hims is big. Big shoulders, big hands. Like a Frankenstein's monster. Doesn't help that he never wears anything less than big jackets since shirts are too small. His pants though, no hope there. They'll always be too small. Tight, uncomfortable, too much movement could cause it to rip. In short, he's a gorilla in a monkey suit. His clothing never big enough, probably since it's all at least three years old.

People don't think much of Roman. He's slow. He's impatient. He's got a temper like you wouldn't believe. But that's the outside. The frustrated teen who was held back. Who went to reform school for breaking a teacher's nose. In truth, he's that kid you leave behind. The kid who doesn't have a future. Roman Augustus Fellus, the butt end of a million jokes.
If you where to talk to Roman, he'd be slow to answer. Almost as if he's trying to figure out why you're talking to him. He's quiet most of the time, often away from the crowd. Dim as a light when you hit the off switch he is. Ask him what he's doing, and he'll say "I don't know." Even if he's actually doing something. Ask him to do something, and chances are he'll do it, but he won't say anything while he does it. A bit of a gorilla.
But that's just the guy people know. Beneath that short tempered kid who just can't get others... Is a smart kid. He reads well outside his age group, with a surprisingly well attained mind for numbers. He can look at the equations on a board, and he just knows it. He doesn't really know how he knows it. He doesn't even talk about it. He knows exactly what 15% of 35.42$ is, and at worst he'd be a penny or two off. But he doesn't go around announcing it. People get mad when others talk numbers really fast, and considering he's a 'gorilla' he learned to keep his head low. His best friends though, aren't too smart either, and they seem proud of it.

Born in New York City. Son of an immigrant, and the then successful actress Matilda Queens. The stuff that really hurts is the stuff he had no hand in. In fact, he couldn't read or write by the time things were going bad. When he was three, his father was arrested. He never figured out why. He never asked, and mom wouldn't tell. It hurt them both. But what is known is that it was a big deal. Reached the media and everything. For five years, Matilda couldn't get a single job in acting. And Roman? He didn't know why. He only knew that daddy vanished one day. Sucks, but that's reality. People leave your life forever, and you can't figure it out. But, sometimes it changes who you are.

The Fellus family wasn't rich. Even if Mom was a somewhat successful actress she couldn't afford a mansion if she wasn't working. They bought a small apartment, living in comfort they best they could, as Matilda worked on the side as a writer. She was never home though, and Roman didn't get it. But, he was in kindergarten by the age of five, like every other kid. The problem? His temper. He was big, even then. Even older kids were smaller than him. And he learned quickly that he didn't need to be popular. He had to be tough. Some kid gave him sass, and POW! Nobody thought he was smart anyway. That's the thing with big kids. All the adults think they're no brains all brawn. Roman had brains, but when the world says you don't, and you just can't get social cues... You get the idea.

By Middle School, he was a bully. Insert stereotype here. When it came to sports, it never worked out. He'd get angry, and bam somebody is on the floor. Ended up in reform school at 13 when he got into a fight with the football coach. Never took sports again. Reform school though, helped, kinda. Not too much. He was still hard to like, and worse of all, he didn't deal with stuff all that well. Mom still wasn't home all that much, since by now she was back in acting. Small roles, spread out further, but still making money. Mom tried her hardest, and that was still a lot. But nobody was going to give Roman a chance to change. He wasn't pretty. He wasn't articulate. He wasn't all that clever. He was big, and strong.

At sixteen, he got a job working as a delivery boy for Grimaldi’s Pizzeria. His bullying days were over, but nobody really cared. He was still a short tempered guy with big hands. In his off time he started hanging out by the train yards. Punching stuff does a lot to cheer a kid up, and metal containers don't threaten to sue or send you to reform school. Metal containers don't care. They just hurt you back when you punch too hard. And that's where he was when the first death was reported. He was back at the train yard when the second rolled in two. Then the third. Then the fourth, fifth, sixth. His mom stayed out of town for filming, and sent just enough that he could pay rent and maybe see a movie. Since his job at Grimaldi's was less about the money and more about keeping him out of trouble.

Roman didn't have anybody close that the plague was hurting. Instead, he was just there, pounding his frustrations away at the train yard. Until one of his pals got sick. Tim Rivers. Smaller guy than Roman, dumb as bricks but he was big enough to get by. It was with Roman that Tim showed the first symptoms. Vomiting. Falling to the floor and getting sick. Roman brought him to the hospital, both of them got locked up. After all, safety precautions. Well, Roman didn't get sick, not even after a week. Tim though? It was getting worse. By day five, he couldn't move. By day eight, he could barely speak. Roman was sitting on the other side of the glass, watching Tim's life fade away. And Tim was crying.

"I'm sorry man. I made mistakes. I thought I'd live forever you know. Make mistakes young, and you've got the rest of your life to fix it. But I didn't do that." Tim got really introspective in the last few hours of his life. Roman didn't know what to say. Roman wasn't good with words. But when Tim passed on, he couldn't help but think about it. Again and again. 'I made mistakes.' He whispered that to himself as he sat in his house. He said that to himself when he ate oven ready pizza. And he said it to himself when the world returned to normal.

He has the rest of his life to fix it. Starting now.

Back in middle school, Roman's hobby was fighting. He got in fights. Threw fists. Broke jaws. Mostly out of school, but a few in school because some teachers just don't care. He still fights. He's like a boxer if we're going to be honest. But after the virus passed through, nobody stops by. His career went nowhere before it began. But, if you look for him, he's usually at the train yard, punching big metal boxes.

Arnold Fellus | Father: Missing. Arnold was an illegal, and deported back to his home country back when Roman was three. He hasn't seen his old man since, not that he cares.
Matilda Fellus | Mother: Matilda was beautiful. Emphasis on was. She's 57 now, having Roman later in life than she wanted. But she fell in love late in life too. Former actress, makes do now a days by doing small TV roles. Usually means Roman is home alone for weeks or months depending on how filming is going. She does her best for Roman, though sometimes it feels like its never enough.
Tommy Peeps | Roman's 2nd in Command: In Elementary school bullies have it easy. It gets harder in middle school, and almost impossible in high school. Tommy Peeps is the only one who stuck it out with Roman all the time, and despite Roman leaving that life little by little, Tommy still gives it a go. He's a dense idiot, who could probably be a black hole of stupid if he wanted. Probably already is.

On the street a girl like Ellie Duke likely wouldn't cause accidents just by walking, but she might certainly get heads turning -
and not for her sense of style which hovers somewhere along the lines of 'sporty, flirty casual'. Ellie has a confidence about her appearance which is aided by her overall physique, being involved in athletics from a young age has paid off with a lean, fit frame and the point of pride that are her legs; at 6'0 even there's a lot of leg to go around which is often why she wears shorts to show them off or size-too-small jeans to accentuate them. Her hair is a natural blonde and rather wispy and for a while she wore it in ponytails when on the court, now she just keeps it at a medium cut and deals with the sweat and the loose strands that come with the territory of athletic activity without proper care.

During the season and on game days specifically, Ellie would always be seen either in a Letter Jacket or half of her jersey in order to drum up interest in the students supporting athletics or just to remind people that she's on the varsity team and how much that means to her. In the off season or when games weren't scheduled her choice in clothing wouldn't look out of place if it was worn by the somewhat soulless looking models in a catalog. Shorts and jeans, tank tops with a bit more neck and shoulder and a lower cut than perhaps the dress code actually allows, to blouses or denim ensembles. If there was a word that could sum up Ellie's typical style it would be 'confidently basic'. She's proud of her physique, her arms have tone and definition to them and her legs are capable of some great strides, but she isn't particularly interested in making a fashion statement other than 'looks good on and off the court'. On that metric she's rather successful.

Her eyes also happen to be bright blue, to fully complete the set.

It's a fine line between confident and arrogant and Ellie rides that line damn near every day. No one can deny her talents on the court, hell it's a contributing factor to why the team was doing rather well during the season, but the arrogance comes with Ellie thinking she deserves special treatment or the likes because of it. Her confidence is more in terms of being able to walk into the room and look, feel, and act like nothing could phase her. She carries herself well and when she isn't acting self-important for athletic performance she is actually fairly down to earth and sociable. Ellie has just put all of her eggs in the athletics basket so taking it incredibly seriously is understandable, but also unfortunate as what will she have should those athletic dreams fizzle out and die -
be it from failure or God forbid an injury in her prime.

Ellie isn't always the easiest person to get along with, but she's honest and dedicated and despite her inflated sense of import on the court, she is a team player albeit one who would always prefer to be calling the shots even in a school project. If there wasn't the self imposed pressure to strive for lofty goals, Ellie would be much easier to deal with and her confidence would be inspiring rather than peppered with hints of bitchiness and egotism. If she could dial that part of her back and focus on the sarcastic, pizza loving fiend part of herself she would no doubt be one of the more popular students because of personality alone.

Cryokinesis || Ice Manipulation:
Ever since the incident, Ellie has had a rather strange relationship with the frozen state of water known as ice. She isn't sure if she is generating the ice herself or if she is pulling from outside sources, but when trying to open a door only to find her hand has frozen the knob and locking her inside for an hour or so the questions aren't about 'what's the source of this' and more 'what the fuck is happening?' Her hands are constantly cold to the touch even though she doesn't feel that, but things she touches - whether she freezes them or not - feel like they just got taken out of a cold storage locker. One thing she knows for certain and that it seems her hands are the only outlet for her ice abilities and at present there's less control and more the hope that extending her hands won't result in her shooting a mini snow-blower from her palms. She's taken to wearing gloves since basic activities - like drinking from a water bottle -
was proving to be damn near impossible.

Given time, practice, and understanding the full breadth of her abilities would manifest in solid ice blasts and attacks, freezing, and even cryokinetic constructs and the like; but as it stands Ellie can basically make snow cones and cool people down on a very hot day. She tried playing basketball to take her mind off of everything, but she wound up freezing and shattering the ball after only a few dribbles which only added to the stress.

Ellie is a New York native, born to Michael and Alice Dukensie, and living in Manhattan before the cost of raising a child was a bit more than anticipated and a move across the bridge was mandated. Ellie's father was a basketball coach at Midwood and it was because of him that Ellie developed a love of the sport. It started with her and her father going to local courts and having bonding moments, but over time it developed into Ellie and her dad having actual games and Ellie shining. When she tried out for the team in her Freshman year at Midwood there were, of course, cries of nepotism but Ellie's prowess spoke for itself and silenced all but the loudest of dissenters. She made varsity in her sophomore year.

Ellie was closer to her father than she is her mother and it stems mostly from a lack of shared interests. Her mother works at a publishing office and Ellie isn't exactly the biggest fan of sitting down and reading fiction. But given that both of them lost the man they idolized - Ellie her father and Alice her husband - after the virus both of them have started to rely on the other for support, emotional or other wise; though Ellie has still kept the whole Elsa thing from her mother.

It is because of her father, back when he was alive, that Ellie put so much of herself into basketball. She had dreams and now they are the dreams of her and Michael. A scholarship. Maybe the national team. Assuming she can even play basketball again given her penchant for turning the ball into an ice sphere. But even before the virus, Ellie was driven to be the best. She made captain of the team on her junior year and she was going to lead the team to finals, get a trophy for the school case. And then everything went to shit and basketball was the furthest thing from anyone's mind.

Ellie still wants to think this is all some kind of fucked up dream or something, that she could just wake up one day and everything's back to normal. Her dad in the kitchen eating his eggs. Mother sipping coffee over the paper and smiling again. Grimaldi's after practice and ruining her dinner.

But every day it seems like the only constant is pizza, and even that's starting to lose its taste.

Ellie's main extracurricular is her position on the varsity girls basketball team. It's where her nickname of The Duchess comes from and she's hoping there's a potential scholarship in it. She plays center and is the team captain. When she isn't on the court she can often be found having a slice or two of pepperoni pizza over at Grimaldi's.

The mix of Danish and Greek/Italian ethnicity has worked wonders for young Thor, the name even has a certain level of gusto. While his body lends himself serious favors and glances from just about any sex, his face also serves its purpose. Most of his dominant features are from his father and Nordic descent; light brown hair with tinges of gold/blonde on the side, make for a look reminiscent to the cooling of smelted gold. His hair is lightly brushed to the side as the wind blows it in either direction regardless of how he styles it. The outer rims of his eyes, shine with an alluring blue tint, but soon begin to evolve closer to the pupil. Waves of green and brown jet out all around the pupil, bleeding into the blue of the rim. Besides his cream colored skin and strong jawline, from time to time Thor like to keep a short and neat layer of hair around the edges of his chin, just to spice things up.

As far as his body, that’s where the real fun begins. Nurturing his body as a temple for the rest of his life, he has striven for perfection, peak human form. While not the tallest he does break the manlet bracket by standing at a cool 6’1. Mostly lean muscle, Thor is quite a big boy weighing at just over 175 pounds, mostly made up of pure muscle. Just as women keep track of their bust and waist size, Thor records his body specs. Chest is 44 inches while his arms/biceps are 18 inches with an accompanying waist size of 33 inches. The only bodily imperfection, if you could call it that, is a mole mark on the front neck. Beyond his body his wardrobe could be considered pretty basic, he likes to slip in-between sporty and preppy. His lazy days or sport meets consist of sneakers, preferably converses and a matching sweat suit, usually Adidas, but off brands also work for him as he’s not too picky. To complete the ensemble he likes to wear caps that rest just above his hair. As for school and social outing he likes to dress in body fitted sweaters, dress shirts paired with an open blazer, or a handy cardigan. The three are quite interchangeable, along with his dark washed jeans and/or slacks.

If there was one word to describe Thor perfectly, it would be Speed. Thor is constantly moving, it’s almost impossible for him to stand in one place. It’s such a waste of time, there’s so much to do so much to see. Thor needs to live for the now and when he means now he means down to every…single…second. Naturally he’s an adrenaline junky, always looking for his next high the next big score. Thoughts run through his mind faster than he can keep up with. This causes him to naturally speak his mind without process. Some might see him as blunt or rude, but being told the truth can inevitably be quite hurtful. His racing mind isn’t just for show and bewilderment among his peers, he also processes the environment around him, constantly analyzing possible getaway routes or the path of least resistance. If you look closely enough, one might think they saw a streak of electricity coursing through his sclera. Like most millennials, Thor expects results right away, granted the world they live in now, almost all gratification is instant. Again he wants to get to the finish line no matter what.

Thor might be careless and quite erratic in behavior, but don’t let that confuse his instability with idiocracy. Thor is rather bright, he’s not just the dumb jock who gets away with athletic ability and dangerously good looks. While he flirts with danger, he knows his limits even if he does everything to test them. His love for sciences has been the only outlet to make sense of what happened to him. It almost provides the calm needed for him to breathe it all in. With his wits about him and his speed there’s nothing more he enjoys than competition. Whether friendly or abhorrent, Thor welcomes it all. A rather friendly and easy going people person, Thor searches for people that will challenge him physically and mentally, people of like mind who will push past their own obstacles. In your face and explosive are essentially what make up his whirlwind personality. Can you keep up?

Thor is a Speedster, granted with the super human ability of immense and incredible speed. Thor possess an enhanced physiology suited for movement at immense speeds. Thor’s cardiovascular and respiratory system are many times more efficient than that of a normal human being. Thor’s brain processing speed is hundreds of times faster than the normal human's, so he can operate at immense speeds. The chemical process of his musculature is also highly enhanced so his body does not generate fatigue poisons, the normal by-product of physical locomotion, which force the body to rest. Thor’s joints are smoother and lubricated more efficiently than those of a normal human being.

While his power set allows for great diversity and overwhelming strength, Thor is still unfamiliar with his limits. For now, Thor hangs around a threshold below that of the sound barrier, while he can keep up with trains and planes, he can’t break the sound barrier just yet. At the moment, Thor’s powers don’t go beyond very novice electrokinesis as a byproduct of generating electrical energy, just because he can generate it, doesn’t mean he can control it just yet. While he can accelerate and vibrate his molecules, his digits are the only part of his body that can properly phase. Finally, accompanied by his enhanced molecular structure and physiology, Thor has accelerated healing which at the moment only heals minor cuts and bruises over the course of a few hours depending on severity.

The image of a boy being chased by several rabid dogs through the alleyway takes precedence. His shoes meet a puddle splashing water up into the sky. What appears to be steam? …Radiates off of the boys foot as half his sneaker looks burnt off. A pizza in his grip with his arms stretched out, the alarm on his wrist watch is blaring in his ears as he persistently looks at the minute hand as he checks behind him.

Record-Scratch, Freeze Frame, Voice over starts to play.

"Yup, that's me. I bet you're wondering how I got myself into that situation. Well, it all started a month ago”

Life comes at you fast. Well at least for Thor it had gone by pretty quickly, it was starting to become a running trend for our young speedster. Thor was born in Liverpool, England. His Father was a carpenter while his mother was a nurse. The bizarre couple managed to meet while Thor’s father was working on a new wing to the hospital his mother worked in. Having swapped glances over the months the project endured, the two deiced to shoot their shot and let fate handle the rest. Things moved quickly, as if the pieces to the puzzle were all in alignment. The two moved to England for better work opportunities as they were both expecting a new member of the family. While things did progress quicker than expected, Thor was no mistake child. Being young parents left the opportunity to fully appreciate the growth of their son and maintain their resilience as he grew. Unfortunately for them, Thor would test their resilience and youth to their absolute limits.

Thor took his first steps faster than any child, in that aspect he was further ahead than most kids. Since a young age he knew he wanted to run for sport. Although he didn’t know what track and field was, the thought was always buried in his head. Instead of looking forward to cartoons he looked out for Olympics sports where they ran decathlons and relay races. Once in grade school, Thor began to run any chance he could. His passion for running was only extenuated by stories recanted by his parents regarding their heritage and religious mythos. Being born to Nordic and Greek/Roman lineage, gave him the opportunity to access two of the most noted mythos concerning gods and men of feat. Had he been born with some Egyptian blood, he would be complete. Regardless, his Nordic roots gave him the powerful name of Thor, God of Thunder. Thunder was all he felt when he ran, the electricity streaking through his nervous system like a virus.

While he enjoyed the Asgardian overtones, there was something that clicked with him on a deeper level. The legend of Pheidippides. If you’re unfamiliar with his tale, prepare to learn of the man who inspired the marathon. In Ancient Greece the Athenians were at war with the Persian Empire. To keep it short, the outnumbered Athenians managed to drive back the Persian forces in Marathon, the neighboring city to Athens. The Persian militia immediately set sail to the unmanned city of Athens in revolt; to warn Athens, the Athenian army sent a lone messenger to deliver the news and word of their victory. 25 miles and three hours later, Pheidippides arrived after traversing unforgiving terrain to deliver the message and collapse to his death shortly after. Thus integrating the marathon as a way to celebrate his legacy and bravery. This story resonated with the young runner and spurred him to continue chasing his dream in order to have a feat of strength of equal grandeur. Having Pheidippides as his Greek inspiration, also brought about the inclusion of the messenger god Hermes, their similarities were quite doting minus the fact one was a god and one was merely mortal.

After that, Thor just kept running and never stopped. Eventually, Thor began to gain notoriety in the track and field world. Opportunities opened up left and right with full rides to any University of his choosing. Tired of the English, Thor decided to accept a scholarship to NYU, but first he needed to finish his education at an American high school. Over the coupling months, Thor managed to touch down onto unfamiliar Brooklyn turf. The asphalt and pungent smell was oddly comforting, that was until the air betrayed him and afflicted him with the virus. His timing couldn’t have been worse. Odison and Hermes had bigger plans for the running prodigy. Lightning forked the black sky as thunder roared and boomed, Thor was keeled over in wretched pain before lightning jumped from the sky and crashed into Thor’s body igniting his virus resistant gene. He was fast, faster now, quite possibly the fastest man alive. With his new found power came great responsibility. Securing his chances for the scholarship and his legacy on the horizon, thor had to start small. He joined Midwood and got a local job as the delivery boy for Grimaldi’s except for the fact that he was late today.

Frame unfreezes, film continues

"Crap I’ve got no choice" in a flash of an eye Thor disappeared from sight leaving the dogs confused, almost as confused as the apartment tenant when they saw the skid marks in the hallway trailing behind Thor. 30 minutes or less, right?

Thor participates in Varsity Track & Field, he fills multiple positions, but prefers to be the Anchor Leg.

He also spends his off time working for Grimaldi's Pizzaria

Ryuu Hokama

Ryuu has a tall fit frame standing at 5’11, sporting lean firm muscles. He skin tone is a tannish olive color. He owns a pair of dark brown eyes that sit under full ebony brows. His hair is naturally black and is buzzed neatly to his head. He has thin lips with the bottoms being slightly fuller. Ryuu’s style of clothing is casual and can usually be seen in jeans and form fitting shirts along with the occasional hoodie. However, he can be seen in more of a classy wear if the occasion calls for it.

If one were to describe Ryuu, one would know that has a very laid back and agreeable attitude. He’s also forthright, balanced, and humorous, but they are at times tainted by self-insecurity. His adaptability is what he is most well known for, Ryuu is quick on his feet even in the toughest of situations. He is also rather mature for his age having gained most of it for caring for his little sister and aging grandmother while his mother is working.

Nobody’s perfect of course and Ryuu has his less favorable traits as well. His insecurities of not being good enough get the ways at times of success. When pushed enough, Ryuu has a temper that is not easily quelled once it gets going. Fortunately his calm demeanor softens the worst of it.

Golem Creation- Ability to create golems out of surrounding inanimate materials. This power can be used with almost anything giving the user a potential source in almost all environments. The exact power of each golem depends upon the substance they are made from.

Weaknesses:
- Golems have all advantages and disadvantages from the matter they are made of.
-May have or gain independent minds and rebel against user.
- May try to attack user given a reason.
- Is limited to creating number of golems at a time.

Ryuu currently can only create mini golems made from paper though, requires a lot of concentration to do so.

Ryuu was born and raised in New York City. His parents and grandmother having moved to the U.S. from Japan years before. His early childhood was relatively normal. His family was always close knit middle class family. His father a paramedic and his mother working an accountant. Ryuu school days were pretty average. He wasn’t one for causing trouble and therefore usually stayed out of it, minus the occasional mischief with friends. It was in his early middle school years did he discover a love for basketball and has been drawn to it ever since. However things, took a turn his 7th grade year after his father’s untimely death from a car accident. It hit the family pretty hard. His mother had to throw herself into her work to support the family and Ryuu, quietly stepped up to help out by acting as caretaker for his baby sister and Grandmother.

No matter how much he wanted to, he will never forget when the virus hit. The worried look in his mother’s eyes as she watched the number of victims rise on the t.v. screen. The fear he felt when he himself started showing symptoms. He wasn’t sure what hurt worse, the sickness itself or the tear stained faces of his family as they began to lose hope he’d live. However, after what seemed like ages, Ryuu slowly began to come to and before too long was on the mend. With his recovery he found new hope, seeing as the virus seemed to finally be dissipating and the fatality rate coming to a stop. It was a few weeks after his recovery when he started to notice something strange about himself, something unnatural.
