Across all different types of time and space, wormholes opened sucking people into them when they least expected it, or in some limited cases went into them willingly, while they disappeared from their old lives they were taken to somewhere new where they were needed in one way or another.

On the other side of the wormhole was another world completely different from their own in many ways; the newcomers dropped into the camp with the starless night sky overhead, the only thing that gave any sort of light during the night was a full blood moon hanging in the sky almost watching the group before slowly descending on the dark horizon, before being completely encapsulated by the dark the sun slowly came out and illuminated the entire camp.

The Camp was mostly abandoned, anything that was manmade and still standing was covered in green vines and various forms of shrubbery. The only thing that was untouched by the greenery was a small obelisk with a blue glow to it, several different characters appeared on the obelisk before familiar ones started to appear on the stone, it explained to the group."Once the Demon has been vanquished you will be allowed home if you wish"

Besides, the miniature pillar was a dark cave with only a single light at the end of the long dark tunnel, suddenly the words on the pillar changed once more."At the end of the tunnel lies your way back home, but you must liberate this realm from its demonic threat" Suddenly the words changed again.

"Prepare for the many days ahead of you some of you may perish if you are not strong enough to handle the ordeals; Nights will be harsh but you must prepare the camp to whether the incoming storm of demons and monsters that would wish to see your end"

A crimson colored book sat at the base of the obelisk, the tomb was bigger than a normal person's palm and bound by a simple leather strap, the book was untitled but flipping through a couple pages there were images of monster people with paragraphs of text under them describing them each.

Rizu Mao

Rizu fell nearly headfirst into the ground before rolling around to their paws, before they decided to look around, they shook their entire body including their tail to get any dirt out of their fur. When she looked at her hands and feet she got a faint feeling like they didn't belong there like her hands should be different, something kinda felt wrong to her as she felt her fur on her paws and moved her fingers around.

It didn't take long for Rizu to notice she wasn't alone and realize she wasn't where she first thought she was. She was in the middle of what looked like a camp surrounded by a sea of trees with no real sign of civilization in any direction, only the camp was the closest thing and it was in ruins from the looks of it, but a couple beings were already hanging around the ruined camp, one of them being an Orc standing around several cooking supplies another being a cat woman similar to Rizu herself.

Before the cat could take a couple steps there was a number of other small wormholes hovering in the air, The cat attempted to jump for them but they always just stayed out of her reach, as she tried jumping for another one more time, people started to spill from the wormholes with another girl nearly falling onto Rizu while she was jumping for it.

KATALMACH

Katalmach was one of the first to arrive to the camp, and he's already set up his station near the center most of the camp. A good place to ensure that the majority of the camp could quickly come and get some grub once he's done cooking, as well as semi-defensible. That being said, this place was a dump. Sure there was a few standing buildings left around, but all it'd take is a few men with sledge hammers to bring them down. Hell they might just need regular hammers or maybe hatchets instead. This place really needed some work done. And unfortunately Katalmach was no carpenter. He could haul and chop logs just fine, but putting together a fortress was beyond his expertise. Part of him was starting to regret skipping out on lessons as a youth.

Still, can't work on an empty stomach. As more and more people either showed up or got dropped off, Katalmach was already brewing up some curry. Some good old red meat, carrots, potatoes, over a steaming bed of milled white rice. The good stuff. His mistress was quite kind to give him such good supplies, and hopefully the grub will keep the people of the camp going. Assuming they aren't just a bunch of freeloading louts who expect him to just give them food. He might be nice but he wasn't that naive. Already he was devising of a method to make sure the people of the camp earn their meals, perhaps food vouchers or something. He'll have to think about it.

"Oi!" The orc called out as people were coming to their senses. "Welcome ta Da Camp. Name's Katalmach. I cook, an sorta run things 'ere fer now. Least till someone more suited shows up. I'm sure yer got lots of questions but first come get sumthin ta eat, yer gunna need dat energy."

EBONY

Ebony had arrived with Katalmach albeit in cat form. She then quickly left the camp and shortly thereafter returned in her normal form, and the orc was none the wiser. She made small introductions, had some of the curry, and looked around the campsite. The place was a dump and many buildings structurally unsafe; Ebony's cat-like reflexes allowed her to avoid some precarious footing but otherwise the place could use some real touch ups. Of course just as well, the ruined structures could prove a benefit for the campers if they knew what they were doing; what was a hazard could be turned into a weapon. Not that Ebony knew how to do that, but she could think of a few ways that could suit her.

As Ebony returned to the orc for seconds, people started to arrive through portals. This startled the cat but she kept her cool when she noticed it was just another Nekomata. Ebony simply dismissed the kitten as went to get more curry, and as more people joined Ebony stood off to the side to listen and observe. Size them up. See who'll be useful and who will be a sucker. "This is some nice curry by the way. I hope it lasts."

XIA

"Owie..."

Xia hand walked into the portal only to end up dropping a few feet above the ground. Sufficient to say, she was completely caught off guard. While no worse for wear she did get a bit of a scrap as she looked around, nervous and scared. Where was she? What was going on? Soon she saw a bunch of strange people also coming out of portals. "Omagawd. Am I an isekai cahracter now?" The big orc calling himself Katalmach asked everyone to gather around and take some food. Xia did approach however she didn't take any, choosing to just stand by and watch what was doing on.

"Alright Xia, just take it easy. Think of this like a tutorial mode or something. Listen to what everyone has to say, figure out what you're suppose to be doing here, and eventually just stumble onto the plot. That's obviously and orc and those two are cat girls, so this is a fantasy world. Hack-and-slash RPG stuff. You came from the modern world so you got to use that modern education to get by. Either that or I have some secret powers I don't know about yet.... Get on that."

Standing off to the side Xia waved at everyone nervously. "H-Hi! Nice to meet you all. I don't suppose anyone knows how we all got here?"

Aiko Fujioka

Being caught up in crazy shit in her world was one thing, but to be thrown into a new world was something else. Although she was unceremoniously dumped into a camp, Aiko didn't allow herself to fall on her face like some sort of plebeian. Making a small mid-air somersault, she readjusted her landing angle, thus landing on her feet instead of her face. Her eyes flit around the new scene, looking for anyone particularly hostile, her hand tightening on the grip of her bat. A muscular green man, two furries catgirls, and a human. When the green dude spoke, she was surprised that they could speak her language.. Or maybe they all just spoke the same language now, who knew. Aiko may not be the smartest kid on the block, but she damn well knew when someone offers something, it ain't free, no matter how damn good it smells. "Katal, was it? Your food ain't free right? You don't look like the kinda cunt that plays nice guy, and I ain't about to try knock you for some. Not with those kinda muscles anyway. What's your price?" She replied bluntly as she walked up to the campfire, promptly take a seat on one of the logs near it, her hand still gripping the bat. For now she was staying cautious, but at least calm. Something she was taught by one of the higher ups in mafia.

Information always costed something. Maybe an arm or a leg. She'd have to see what he says. For now she could surmise that she wasn't going anywhere until something got solved. Or at least, that's how it worked in those isekai manga that she read in the Jump magazines.

@Lucius Cypher@Rekaigan

"Oi, snotskin! You keep liein' ta people an' I'm likely ta' put ya down!"

Stomping his way over from a nearby tent, Rairsun held a large cleaver in one hand with a shield strapped to his back. Like the others arriving he had been called from somewhere else, though he could not confirm if it was the same world entirely. Dwarves spoke of their natural attunement to the stones of home and these were not home. Not even close.
Turning to the newcomer he continued politely.

"Ya don't pay nothin' Lass. Wars comin' an' we need'a stay together! Whats mine is yours if it means we get back safe, aye? If ye want some real food ta stuff yer belly then come ta me! Rairsun Cragshield, at your service."

Getting close, Rairsun eyed the orc from the corner of his eye and turned a glance at the Orc.

"Don't eat what he cooks ye. Likely ta give ye the same complexion."

Jericho felt his stomach knot as more people filtered through the wormhole as some had begun to call it. The monk had never been the academic type. His calling was a hunt, to strike down foes. Finding the way was the only thing a pathfinder truly held as the pinnacle of their abilities. Unfortunately this was the first time many of these people had ever set foot upon this place, from the looks of the camp around them. No maps, no trails, no way of knowing what was edible or where the enemy called home. Outside their immediate field of view there was nothing known to them.

Gazing out past the tents, Jericho briefly wondered if he should dive right in and explore. It wouldn't be the first time he had made a reckless and selfish decision.

Father Yaroslav

CC = #C2FFFB

Yaroslav tripped on a root, most of the way down the mountain, his mind at peace with his decision. As he thrust his arms down to catch himself, he saw the portal and vainly tried to grab the edges, and failed. Falling through a gap in reality, the elderly priest's last thoughts of home were of how God, or Satan, had prevented him from making good on his choice. He felt as though his fall lasted a lifetime...

The priest woke up, mercifully, on a pile of bushes. He scanned around his environment and spotted the telltale signs of civilization in the form of rising smoke instantly. He had no clue where he'd landed, or how he'd gotten there in the first place, however Yaroslav was nothing if not cautious. Checking once more for any injuries he might have received, and finding nothing worrisome, he crept off of the pile of bushes and slowly walked towards the smoke.

When he finally came within about fifty paces of the mocked up camp, Yaroslav could not only see several of the newcomers, whom like him had probably arrived here by mysterious means, but he could also see their auras. It had been a gift recently bestowed upon him, and he still didn't have a full sense of what exactly it allowed him to do. He did know that it let him read the auras of others, and transform his own aura. And so, as he approached Yaroslav took in the auras that permeated the camp and reflected on what colour he should tinge his own. He saw lots of
pale sickly greens, dark seething blacks, and sizzling yellows that seemed to eat away at him. The mild synesthesia that he experienced with the usage of this strange new power was most disconcerting, especially when others felt those very unpleasant emotions that he himself sensed.

In order to combat the sensations of negative emotion that bombarded him and doubtless bombarded all those who dwelled in the camp, Yaroslav began tinging his aura with a
pure energetic red, a calming blue, a scintillating green, and of course just a mild dose of white. Plenty of vitality, assurance, and intrigue, peppered with just a hint of divinity. That cocktail of aura-based influence, though not seen, would most certainly be felt. His work prepared, Yaroslav strode into the camp, his own aura propelling his stride in a peaceful but purposeful manner.

His eyes first fell on a large brutish looking man, with outlandishly green skin, who wore a terribly incongruous chef's hat. He was serving out curry, and at that moment Yaroslav felt his hunger ache in his stomach. The green fellow's aura itself lacked any discernible shade of green for the moment, an ironic point itself. However he was fraught with
faded browns, and erratic yellows, which despite Yaroslav's continued amazement at his own ability to do so, told him that the chef was having doubts about leadership.

Yaroslav strode up to the green man, picked up a bowl of curry, and with a broad smile he said, "You look like the man in charge around here. Mind telling me what the situation is here? And I hope you don't mind me sampling this tempting meal you've made either." The priest's voice carried with it a perfect blend of deference to the chef, while also retaining a kind of distance which implied the priest's definite status as a newcomer.

Erik Ahlstrom

Erik found himself dragged from reality. A slip in whatever he knew is what tore him away. It was an instant of flashing and then a moment of dropping from several feet off the ground. His form dropped with a low thud as his feet landed and his body curled down to crouch on his heels and his fists raised trying to take a powerful stance. The tall man stood, rising to a stern and strong six foot four inches, with his fists tucked together and his body slipping into a battle pose. His right foot slid backwards slowly and he looked about the area. "Where am I.. what happened.."

Erik began to survey his surroundings with quick snaps of his head and steady eyes, but even through his training the sudden reality shock and daze of traveling through a wormhole had him off-focus and unable to collect his surroundings strongly. He was put on the defensive and he felt alienated in a world unlike any he had seen, and it only got worse as he spied beings unlike any he had seen before. "It has green skin.. and tusks.. and.. cooks? And they females with ears.. and fur.. where the fuck am I.." His mental voice piped in for half a minute as he tried to make connections between this world and what he knew. These things seemed slightly familiar, but different all the same. He couldn't imagine them being real, so he assumed it had to be a bad dream or an unconscious mindset after the fight he had in his world. Even so he felt it was necessary to assert some form of communication and try to at least understand his surroundings until he could properly discern more for himself.

"Where am I?" Erick shouted at a moderate level with his deep voice. He wanted to be sure they heard him.

Azarell

Azarell was in utter dismay, unable to come to terms with the news his ears heard from the messenger. His body erupted in an anger, his muscles convulsing, his limbs shaking, his legs shambling to take steps, his eyes let fourth tears. He was utterly useless to them and he wasn't able to accept that notion, so he refused to listen and he felt compelled to help his people. He felt within an instant the anger and adrenaline of the call to arms and he set off for his people. However he would never reach his people.

Azarell had been traveling for several hours, speeding on foot with the use of his magic to aid him and his natural agility to guide him, but he needed to quicken himself further. He curled his cloak around him as he ran, his lupine like feet dancing across the ground with ease and grace before he leaped from it. His body elongated in posture as he took the leap forward, turning himself into a living bullet covered in his feathered cloak of magic that seemed to shimmer and trail like a comet. He was able to hold this marvelous feat for several moments while his keen eyes watched his path, before suddenly a mysterious force drew itself open before him, and without any chance of his dodging it he was forced into it.

Azarell was almost instantly sent out of the other side of the wormhole and into the camp. The wormhole was a little higher than the others and the Vastayan almost immediately found himself in a moment of pause. His comet like darting was ceased by his own means as he flung his right arm out to the side and sent the spiraling magic into a dazzling mist of sparkles. His long cloak extended with his arm like a mighty wing of feathers and his body slowly floated before he landed atop a dwarf's head, the one speaking rather crudely to the green-skin at that. Once he was fully down and his lupine-like feet sat gently one behind the other, he bowed deeply with his left arm tucked into his torso and his cloak straightened out to the side still much like a wing. His voice rose with a charming accent and a bit of playfulness to it.

"Hail to you, fair and few. Let all see what beauty means before you." Azarell joyfully spoke softly, before smiling and raising his head to them all.

As one of the girls that appeared nearly floated down and landed on her feet like some kind of cat of sorts, she began talking to the green guy who was offering them food, but others had ended up accepting the food he was offering. Rizu wondered where she was looking to the sea of trees again before joining the others at the little group with the other people, but as she got close to the others and was about to get a plate something caught her eye and when she squinted trying to get a look at what it was she decided to go over to it. She pushed the old man out of the way and nearly knocked all of their food onto the ground.

She rushed over without thinking about the obelisk and squatted down in front of the book sitting at the base of the small obelisk, she pawed at the tomb before picking it up and holding it by one of its covers, several pages of different monsters and monster people were seen between the pages before the catgirl held the book upside down trying to read it's text as it changed constantly making the reading process hard for her as she tried sounding out the upside down words in the book.

"Harp...Har...H...This book is weird." She wanted to chuck the book over her shoulder, but she found herself face to face with a deep cave right behind the camp, it was dark and deep, she was gonna take a couple steps into it then something inside her stopped her from journeying into the pitch black darkness of the back cave. She walked back to the others trying to read the book and holding it sideways, she couldn't get an idea on how to read the book and dropped it next to one of the others before a rack of shiny medieval weapons drew her eye.

Rizu surrounded the weapon rack looking at a shiny sword then at a flail before she saw a mace and yanked it off the rack, she then grabbed a belt that held two pistols both with an L on the pistol's holsters, written on the inside of the belt there was something she could actually read."These pistols were used by a gunslinger who had two left hands" Rizu thought about someone having two left hands and hoped the guns wouldn't give her the same thing.

Her day hadn't been much different than how it has been for some while. Flying out and about during her free time, mainly to see if anything interesting is going on. And perhaps with a bit of luck and pure chance, she found a peculiar group of unfamiliar people gathering at a camp a bit far from her own home.

At first, she looks down at the situation while hovering/flying above the camp. Within a minute or two however she moves to the edge of a cliff to further stare down at the individuals around. An orc, two nekomatas, two other people she couldn't immediately identify and a bounty of humans. Sitting herself down, head angled somewhat to the side. "Hmm... a fancy gathering of the most odd set of forms." Murmuring to herself, she leans on the ground while continuing to keep watch in amusement.

While not directly around the camp, she could probably be spotted thanks to her rather "visible" features. Most of which are silvery grey and protruding from her back, along with her hair of similar color. Not to mention her limbs being covered in black scales, trimmed by a multitude of small red "veins".

KATALMACH

Katalmach merely snorted as Rairsun came out of his tent and insulted Katalmach. "Bah. Yer die by next morning if ya eat any of his chow. He cooks and shits in dat helmet of his. Rotten Crapshield." Katalmach turned his nose to Raisun and continued serving his curry. He looked to the pink haired girl. She had a smart mouth and a smart eye. "Aye lassie, ya right dere. Dis food might be on da house right now, but unless ya want slop from stumpy over dere, ta get more of my grub yer gunna have ta earn it." A distinguished gentleman came up, speaking to Katalmach respectfully as the orc served the priest some curry. Nodding to him Katalmach made a grand sweeping motion. "Da Camp, as you can see, is a shit hole. Crumbing buildings, no fortification, just tents and prayers. Not to mention dat mysterious cave dere wot kills almost everything that goes in. Cept me of course. Still, da stuff in dere ain't stuff ya want outta dere, so if ye don't want ta be some monster's midnight snack, ye gunna want to make sure you have a nice lil abode to be in when everything inevitably goes down hill." Katalmach put a lid on his pot and locked it to ensure no one could get seconds.

"Unlike Charity McRunty dere, wot's mine ez mine and if I think yer gunna get me killed you're bait. But pull your weight and be a contributin member of dis lil family, and I got ya back. Or run off into da forest and hope you don't get killed by tainted watered, diseased bugs, or lassie-eaten beasties. Don't matter much ta me." Kat crossed his arms and looked to everyone to gauge and see their reactions. If they weren't still confused and gobsmacked by the absurdity of their situation, then Katalmach will get started in dividing responsibilities.

EBONY

Ebony simply smiled as Rairsun and Katalmach had their little spat. Like a couple of love rivals, those two. As Kat was chatting up the pinkette and the priest, Ebony decided to saunter over to some of the other newcomers and bring them up to speed. First she went up to the loud one. "Hey there big guy, no need to make such a fuss. Things around here can be confusing, and they aren't going to make any more sense anytime soon. This is... Well, the camp. We haven't really given it a name yet. We're here to explore this cave for it's riches and dangers. But the cave isn't the only thing we have to worry about. This forest is filled with wild monsters and dangers of it's own. Yet at the same time, it has plenty of bounty for anyone willing to find it. As for how you got here, I don't know either. Frankly this is the first time I've ever seen this happen, but I'm not surprised. Regardless," Ebony tapped the big man's chest.

"My name is Ebony. I'm not much for roughing it in the wilds, but I'm always up for a little tumble in the dark, if you know what I mean." Just in case this guy didn't know what she meant, she pointed her thumb towards the big cave there were suppose to be treasure and dangers. Then she points to the big, black, thick obelisk near the huge gaping hole. "That thing over there has some strange language on it, but from what I can read if you're an outsider and want to go back home, you need to kill some demon. Maybe it's a demon in the cave or the great Demon Lord himself, but either way you'll going to want to be prepared when you go inside. There are weapons and armor scattered about the camp if you need it, though you may want to consider upgrading with whatever you find inside the cave, or do it yourself if you're good for it."

Ebony was pointedly ignoring Azarell.

XIA

Xia quietly ate the curry as she watched all the chaos around her. This place was certainly boisterous. But from what she was hearing it was legitimately dangerous. This made Xia tremble. She's sparred against others before and she knows some self-defense stuff, but she's not a fighter. Do they really expect her to go dungeon delving against the sort of monsters you'd find in fantasy and fairy tales? Because Xia has read some of those stories. A lot of people will die and, depending on how dark, get raped. It made Xia put her bowl down and shiver. "That's... Wow. That's a lot to take in..." Xia needed to distract herself. She saw a cute looking cat girl messing with some book by the obelisk. She seemed innocent enough. So Xia went over to her as the cat girl was loading up on weapons.

"H-Hello! Xia. I mean, my name is Xia. You came from those portals too right? I... I'm guessing you've already accepted this weird quest to go into that cave and fight whatever is in there so... Um..." Xia noticed the book and picked it up. Maybe she could read it so she opened up it's pages and looked through it. "Is this your book? Did you find anything important inside of it?"

Charlotte Jones

Escape.
That's all that Charlotte could think about as she scrambled about in the back-alleys, the maze of many different alleyways and lanes that made up the majority of her childhood. Normally she would've shaken the police chasing her, but a quick glance down at the blood that still oozed from her shoulder and from her burnt fingertips, falling with a soft plop as it hit the cold concrete beneath was enough to see how she hadn't lost the cops.
The makeshift bandage, which was just some random person's curtain she had ripped down as she ran past, wrapped tightly around her left shoulder did little to stem the bleeding and it was already saturated, as was her entire left coat sleeve. She was lucky she wore a lot of red and black anyway, so even if she was in a crowd it wouldn't be as noticeable.
Well besides the soft plopping noises which reminded her that it was still dripping off her fingers. She still couldn't believe she had gotten herself in this sort of mess, again.
Her father was going to be furious with her regardless of what happened, just the severity of the punishment will depend on the outcome of this chase. Or it would, if she hadn't found herself suddenly free-falling straight into a tree.
"Fuck! Shit! Fucker! Cunt!"
A lot of broken tree limbs and some more loud cursing later, the girl eventually came to a tumbling halt as she crashed into another nearby tree. This led to some more loud cussing, mostly of the 'fuck that fucking hurt' variety.
Groaning as loudly as she was in pain, Charlotte slowly rolled onto her stomach and laid there for a moment. What exactly had happened? What the hell did she trip on, and what the hell had she crashed through?
It still hadn't hit her that she was no longer in the alleyway till she smelt the dirt her face was currently buried in, her eyes slowly opening as she took in the site before her.
"The fuck?"
Dirt? As in, soil dirt not just the 'dirty' alleyways. That which trees and plants grew, was currently quite literally in her face right now. Had she fallen through someone's window and into their greenhouse or something?
Like sure that made no sense, but it made the most sense in her current situation as she slowly pulled herself up so that she knelt on the ground. Quickly brushing the dirt from her face, the red head blankly took in her surroundings.
"...."

So much for her greenhouse theory. She must be dead, or maybe she had hit her head on the ground was delusional? Who on Ennui's god's green earth knew. For now, she just wanted to, needed to sit down for a moment.
Leaning up against the trunk of the tree she had crashed into, Charlotte tenderly poked around her wound, grimacing and cursing loudly as she did. Ok, so bad idea.
But she could still feel and move her arm, so despite the worrying nature of her bloodloss, she didn't think there was any major damage to it. Luckily, hopefully.
Ok, so she should probably still get it looked at. But with who? And where? She had no idea where she was, or how she got here.
As she pondered her increasingly worsening situation, the sound of snapping branches caught her attention. People?! That meant help! Hell, she didn't even care if it was the police chasing her at this point, help was help. After crashing through a tree and being shot, she needed medical attention.
"Hey! Help!" Without a second thought, she began calling out to whomever was making the snapping noises. Of course in hindsight this was a rather idiotic idea, but whether it was just how she acted normally or the loss of blood, maybe even some concussion, who knew.
"....You've gotta be fucking with me right now." Char groaned, soon regretting everything she had decided in life which led her to this moment.
Her plan had worked, that she couldn't deny, she got the attention of what was nearby. Unfortunately what was nearby was a small band of brown, sharp teethed little monstrosities that looked like they had walked straight out of a generic fantasy world and right in front of the young girl. They were clad in nothing more than cloth and had primitive clubs and axes as weapons, but for someone who wasn't used to literal demons popping up in front of her they were quite a terrifying sight to behold.
Especially given there were about twenty of them, and one of her. Her course of action was obvious.
Scream at the top of her lungs, scramble to her feet and begin running for dear life as yet another chase was started that day. Just another ordinary day for the girl.

Orion

Orion was unsure how long it had taken him to reach his designation, and even more so that he was actually in the right place. He had followed mostly second hand rumours and whispers amongst some travelers who were looking to flee before the demon army ascended upon the rest of the realm, of course where they planned on fleeing was beyond Orion's thinking as there was nowhere to run in his eyes, so he wasn't exactly trusting of the information. But regardless, here he now stood.
The place was in a state of complete and utter disrepair, the buildings looking like a gentle breeze would cause them to crumble down and crush whomever happened to be inside at the time. Yet, still there seemed to be a small group gathering near the center as...humans began raining from the sky?
Ok, Orion had seen some crazy shit. But he couldn't help but stand gobsmacked at the fact that there was literally people falling from the sky and no one seemed to be batting an eyelid at the sight. That had to be weirder than the fact that people were raining from the sky, the fact no one cared about it.
Blinking and shaking his head a few times to try and regain his composure, the little Kistune was about to venture into the camp when something else caught his eye.
This truly was a strange place, not only was there an *orc chief, but there also seemed to be several humans, two Nekomata's, a dwarf, a humanoid clad in armor and a dragon just casually perched about nearby like it owned the place. Which, knowing their race, it probably thought it did.
And to top it off, there were wormholes popping up and dropping nameless noobs who will act as cannon fodder for the roleplay, and no one was batting an eyelid at the sight bar Orion. Truly, nothing more spectacular than this existed.
Shelving those thoughts for now, he decided he might as well talk to whoever was in charge, probably warn them about the dragon which was right there, about fifty metres away. Could be a future problem ya know?
But first, he was hungry. So after probably going unnoticed due to his size by everyone that he passed, he scooped up a bowl of curry and began munching away on a nearby log. His tail swished happily as he ate, obviously enjoying what was his first warm meal in days of travelling.

Harken

What happened...? Harken sneered under her veil that covered most of her face. The dawn of the battle turning night in an instant. No cries of battle, the clashes of spears and swords, or even the splatterings of corpses. Dark Magic...? The Spear Maiden prickled her finger with her bloodstained spear gently. She twitched as a fresh crackle of blood trickled down her finger normally. Its too perfect to be magic... Even the Dark Generals couldn't cast a spell like this one... And, her soul would've been destroyed by now if she was really caught into a spell by those beings...

She couldn't really comprehend her surroundings, it was strange even by the standards of her 'visit' of the Western Kingdom. A campfire with Elves of furry ears and a girl with strange clothing, only the Dragonkin and the Dwarf looks mundane to her. Even the orc is perculiar to her. Orcs... this one can speak the common tongue? Her grasp on her spear was so tense that her hand turned white, and dried blood from battle grazes started drawing up new lines along her right arm. So this is how it is... The Dark Pits, Atudusna... They've taken me here... To think that there're even dragonkins on their side... She gritted her teeth despite the sear of her forehead.

"Accursed Fiends of the Dark, you can tear my damned soul all you want, but know that the Bringer of the Light will rise and slay the Dark Lord!!!" Harken pointed her spear towards the group, leaning forwards despite her broken leg rooting her to the ground. If this day was the day of defeat, she would die together with the spear. That was of her pride as a Spear Maiden of the borderlands.

As the cat girl tightened the pistol belt around her waist one of the others that fell from the sky walked up to her as the small man began arguing with the big green guy, it was the four-eyed girl and she called Rizu by the name of Xia, cocking a dark striped eyebrow she wondered why she called her Xia, then the girl said her name was Xia." So I'm Xia and you are Xia?" She asked the girl feeling confused before the girl began stammering and then asked if Rizu offered to go into the cave." I dunno, the cave doesn't let us in it." She told her before her kitty ears began twitching picking up on something.

Rizu suddenly got serious before circling around Xia low to the ground and even looked under her skirt sniffing the air heavily, she squeezed herself between Xia's legs before taking off in a random direction away from the camp with her ears twitching and bugging out, she could hear someone with her ears and smelt something sweet, she followed her nose into the sea of trees focusing on the scent like a strange blood ho cat and hopping over a moss-covered log before nearly landing on some pink haired girl but ate dirt, landing face first next to her before scrambling to her feet spinning around and drawing her two pistols.

"left-handed guns go!" She fired off her two guns at a couple of the imps with both shots miss firing and hitting trees, if it wasn't the loud bang of the guns then it was her pulling out her mace and swinging it back and forth while running towards them. The cat girl smacked one of them or probably two of them while she kept her eyes closed and hoped that she'd knock them out before nearly running into a tree; the imps began backing off and disappearing into the tree line.

Once the little skirmish or ambush was over, the cat girl knocked over the pink haired girl without thinking about her injuries, Rizu then found herself sitting on the wounded girl's lap before sniffing the air then sniffing her hair which had an odd smell of strawberries." Wow, how is your hair pink with that strawberry smell?" She looked the pink haired girl in the eye before putting her head low." Pet me." She told her waiting for the petting.

Niyu

Her skin felt dry. Going even a couple of days without having herself covered in water completely made her feel really unwell. Niyu sighed and slowly waddled to the stream, her flippers making locomotion on land a bit harder for her than most. She stepped into the shallow river, the water playing around her feet.
Sadly, she couldn't immerse herself in the water of the nearby lake. According to several people in the camp, the lake was cursed, so she wasn't allowed to swim in it, which made her really sad.
Sighing, she flopped backwards into the small stream, the water covering her as much as she can make it to do so, the cold wetness spreading over her exposed skin and the cloth made out of her scales that she always wears.

She wasn't really happy with her position in the camp at the moment. There was literally nothing she could do. No body of water in the proximity was fishable and so, she couldn't contribute to the camp much, other than waddling around evil-eyeing people.
Especially now, that new people have started to literally drop into camp, she felt useless.

Still a bit sour, she got up, took her spear and returned to patrolling, everything, from her skin to her hair, glistening with water droplets.

Torako

Pain. White. White Pain. Everything hurt. Blinding light, burning. Compressing, shrinking, growing, swelling. Different feelings all over the body, everywhere.
And then, colours. Greens and browns, some blues, but mostly greens. A soft impact onto plant surfaces...

Eyes were opened. The pain had numbed, but everything felt wrong. Everything was different, the air even felt different.
But that was due to the fur now covering the entire body... A shocked gasp escaped the mouth. But the gasp sounded wrong, too high. A hand moved to the throat, but even that felt wrong. Not only did the throat lose its Adam's apple, but also the hands were different. Claws tipped the slim fingers on the slim hands, both covered in fur, orange on top with black stripes, white on the underside.

"Ehh?", a slightly scratchy, but indistinguishably female voice exclaimed. A scramble to a stream later, a cute female, humanoid tiger's head peered back... at HER. It was unmistakable, she was female now. She looked down at her furred, humanoid tigress' body, small bumps extended from her chest and the fur-covered crotch did not leave her sex to the imagination.
But at least she was lean. Her body looked athletic, long legs stretched out from her lean torso, though her new feet, including paw pads and a digitgrade stance. A long tail curled around her legs, too.

"What happened... why am I a girl...? What am I...?"
But it did not seem like she was alone... A camp, though quite rundown, stretched out in a little clearing in front of her.
Slowly, she got up, wobbly on her new legs and uncomfortable with her new way of walking, so she stumbled towards the camp, maybe there, somebody could help her, explain to her what had happend, who she was, et cetera.

What the hell were these things?!
They were quicker than they looked, but then again Char was already exhausted and sore from her running before, her outburst of power and well kinda having a bullet lodged in her shoulder. She wasn't sure how much longer she could run for, as she was already begining to stagger as she ran. Her legs hurt, they felt like someone had encased them in concrete after stabbing them with needles a thousand times, and she just wanted to give up.
But that would mean those....things would catch up. She had no idea what they were, but it was obvious that they weren't good news. She could try to fight them, but did she actually have the strength remaining to fight that group?
Thankfully she wouldn't have to make much of a decision as a....cat-girl came crashing down next to her? In fact so close to her, that the near miss of being crushed by her startled her. She managed to somehow not trip over her own two feet as she stopped, looking back expectantly as she took this opportunity to regain her breath.
She was certain that, whomever this cat-girl was, she must be strong. Why else would she come running to her aid? Well, that was what Char assumed anyway. She didn't manage to see the fact that the cat-girl had smashed face-first into the dirt, thankfully for Rizu, but the scene that happened next....
......
......
"What the fuck am I watching?"
It was difficult to comprehend what happened, let alone put it into words. The cat-girl started firing off her revolvers, the bullets flying off in god knows what direction but completely harmless to the imps that was for sure.
Then the girl ran in there, flailing about with her mace and almost throwing herself off her feet as she swung it around like a club. She was missing them by quite a margin too, was she even looking where she was swinging?
But still, despite how ugly her methods were. They seemed to be effective as the imps retreated. Maybe they just weren't game to take on the both of them?
While she was standing in disbelief at the sheer absurdity of the scene that happened before her eyes, she was too slow to realize the cat-girl was now almost tackling her to the ground.
"Motherfucker!" The pink hair girl shouted, gritting her teeth as the pain in her shoulder became prominent once more. What the hell was this girls problem?!
Was she trying to help her, or kill her?!?
"Can you get off-w--w-w-w-w-w-hat do y-y-y-ou think y-y-y-y-ou're d-d-d-doing?!" Squirming under the cat-girl but too weak to actually get away, Char turned bright red as Rizu began sniffing her. Her voice came out as a stuttering mess, and as a reaction to it she took a swing at the girl but that was after she had already lowered her head and demanded pats.
.....
Seriously, what was this cat-girls problem?!
"No way, get the fuck off!" The pyro-user demanded, her face still red but she had somewhat regained her composure, and went to push the girl off her but was having difficulties due to...well trying to use only her uninjured arm.

KATALMACH

Katalmach loudly clapped his hands together to get everyone's attention. Most where finished eating or at least they had eaten, though he spotted a few odd ones in the crowd. The dragon, the woman pointing her spear at them, a fury girl, and a really cute fox kid who Katalmach was certain was a boy. He didn't feel like explaining things again so he just started doling out orders. "Aight gits, enough standing around. We got shit to do. As you can see dis place is a right mess an in dire need of sum walls. And fer dat, we need wood. Not just any twigs though; we need big pieces of lumber. Da tree's round ere ain't thick enuff so we gunna go out a bit further, get some wood choppin done. Don't worry bout wagons fer now, we ain't going far and I can drag em to camp if we need ta. Though if any of y'all know how to make a wagon, great. If ya don't, den yer better learn quickly." Katalmach walked over to he big table and laid out a map. It wasn't a great map; it had details of the cave, the camp, and a few obvious landmarks like a river, hill, or some strange rock formation, but otherwise didn't seem to note anything else like nests, ravines, or streams. Katalmach circled the area where they'd be going to get lumber, which was only about a mile north.

Dat ain't da only thing though; I only got enuff food fer maybe a week, if we ration. Dat means we don't got a lotta food. Which means I need people out dere huntin and gatherin. And before ye knuckleheads all volunteer to go out in da words ta kill shit, know dat not every beastie and animal out dere is eadible. If dey ain't blight infested dey just straight up poisonous, so ye'd be wastin time and energy killing some big fuck off wyvern and we can't even eat em. not to mention we do need a balance diet. Eat nuthin but meat and yer bones gunna get weak. So wif dat said, dis is wot ye be hunting." Katalmach also took out another piece of parchment with an illustration of some sort of moss-covered boar. Katalmach's signature was written over the scribbled out name of the actual artist. "Mosswine. Big ole sows wif armored bones an greens growing outta their backs. Tough enough ta hold dere own against some predators, but dey still da type that survive by outbreeding, not out fightin. Still dey make great livestock; their meat's just like regular boar, dere bones can be used fer tools and shit, and they grow nutritious mushrooms on dere bodies. Just be careful, some of em are poisonous too, but even dat'll be useful fer traps and shit. Bring about ten of deez babies back ta camp where I can skin an harvest em fer da larder. By da by, we need ta make a larder."

Katalmach circled an area to the west, marking where the Mosswines were last seen. He looked around the group and decided that he'll make the team; he could trust these people to make their own decisions and he does predict a lot going off hunting instead of gathering materials. Which would be fine if they were bandits, but unless there was a village nearby he never knew about raiding wasn't an option. Yet. "Aight so let's see. I'm gunna go gather da wood. Pinkie (@Rekaigan), Fist-a-Knight (@Zelosse), Blackbeard (@ManoftheNorth), lil fox boy (@Lunarlors34), and new cat (@Ookawa), yer wif me. I expect y'all ta be able ta use yer talents ta pull yer weight. Failing dat, grab some axes an saws, we got wood ta cut. Da rest of y'all can decide ta stay in camp or ta go huntin. But if I don't think ye be doin shit, den you ain't gettin dinner from me. And don't bother tryin ta pry open me pot either; it's enchanted. If ye wanna steal food, ye can go into da dwarf's tent cuz dat's were I put all my ingredients." With all that said Katalmach went to put on some armor; not the whole plate, just the breastplate in case he runs into danger. He grabbed his battle axe as well as a few regular axes and made his way towards the grove of trees he was going to harvest. With any luck, he'll have people there with him.

EBONY

After Ebony explained things to the big guy, Katalmach decided to dole out orders to get things done around the camp. He was going to go get some wood to set up fortifications while everyone else was either suppose to go hunting or watched over the camp. Ebony didn't mind hunting; that was more up her alley than just playing with wood. She decided that since Kat was ordering people around for the material expedition, she'll lead the hunting party. Hunting was something she does well so it felt right to her. "Okay, everyone who wants to go hunting should come with me! I think I know where those Mosswines are, so we can go there and back. Of course don't expect to fight just them; plenty of demons and monsters between us and our prey, so be ready for anything! We should keep the party fairly small, too big of a group and we'll be spotted by everything. Let's see.... Dragon girl (@Ennui), squirrel-bird man (@ManoftheNorth), and priest dude (@Kalleth)! I got a good feeling about you all. Let's go hunting!"

Grabbing her gear Ebony ran out from the camp to scout ahead. Not long after she ran into a strange fishy girl (@Ookawa). Ebony decided to recruit her. More people means less work for her, but she can still take the credit for organizing and leading the group. "Hey. Me and some others are going to go hunting. Do you want to come with?" Looking at the girl and her fish like features, Ebony knew she was going to be a bit of a liability for overland travel. Fortunately Ebony had an idea. "The stream nearby actually connects to a larger river where we're going. I think if you take the river down to meet up with us, you can flank the mosswines we're after, get a few sneak attacks on them. Maybe check the waters for anything useful too." Ebony gave the girl a thumbs up as she started to walk away. "Your choice really! The camp could use some guards too!"

XIA

Xia just looked flustered and confused as the cat girl as she started to sniff around her, even going underneath her skirt. "W-What!? Stop that!" Xia pulled her skirt close together as the cat girl ran off into the forest. Xia debated following her but before she could even take a few steps forward, the girl was gone. Followed by gunshots. Xia was shocked and just looked to the others in camp. It seemed like they were going to do something now. Some were going to go cut wood, others were going to go hunting. Xia wasn't sure if she was suited for either. She wasn't very good with manual labor, and she was a bit nervous about killing things, even for sustenance. She guess she'll just stay in camp for now. As everyone was leaving she did spot a wounded woman holding a spear, pointing it fearfully at the group. Xia was equally nervous, but she didn't want a fight in the camp. Not with all of these strangers. So before things got out of hand Xia went over to the wounded woman (@Noodles).

"P-P-Please put your weapon down! No one is here to hurt you!" Xia stood in front of the woman but far from her spear, putting her hands up to show that she did not have a weapon. Xia looked frighten yet still thought it was a good idea to stand in front of his angry spearwoman. "I understand that you're confused about where you're at, I am too. I just got here and everything is just.... It's just so weird.... B-B-But friendly, I think. Right now anyways. So could you please put that spear down and.... And let me help you up?" Xia gulped as looked at the spearwoman before looking around for others. The first person she laid eyes on was the dwarf chef (@Zelosse). She remembered hearing some of his words and he seemed nice enough. Hopefully he knew how to treat a wound too. "Excuse me! Sir! Do you have any medical supplies? I think this woman broke her leg."

Harken

Harken gasped for breath as she looked upon the approaching lady of Dark Clothing, Xia. No signs of any magic, yet... That black dress was more perculiar that anything she'd seen, and she found herself pondering on what was that thing in front of her eyes. An Artefact of the Shadow... Harken grimaced at the sight of Xia's glasses. She tensed up at the lady's young appearance, she'd heard of some Darkfiends capable of changing their face. Must never let down my guard...

"No! I live and die together with the spear!! We are proud warriors married to none but the spear, and the Spear Maidens of the Borderlands will not yield to the likes of Thag'dron!" The five finger's of her left hand scraped the surface of the soil. She knew what would happen after calling the true name of the Dark Lord. The incoming searing pain that reaches all the way down the bones, that will surface towards the very soul. But what does it matter anyways, since the Dark Pits Atudusna is the last place before she would cease to exist.

Nothing happened.

"Eh...? Impossible..." The shaft of Harken's spear dropped upon her buckler. Every single time without fail, she had seen those unfaithful to the Dark Lord naming him. And he was sealed deep within Atudusna, The Darkest Lands, but his name carries that influence. Nobody had ever killed a Dark General in a thousand years, let alone the Dark Lord. Yet the Dark Lord's name carries little meaning here... Now to mention, she doesn't look like she was lying, wasn't she...?

"... I was in the middle of a battle against those damned traitors... Are there anybody else with me?" Harken placed her bloodstained veil to one side, chucking her spear back to her quiver. Her hand was still near her side, as if ready to draw at anytime she needed. Yet she showed no killing intention, it was just how she was taught, a habit that she found it hard to get rid of.

@ManoftheNorth Rairsun felt the indignity burn in his stomach as the greenskin belittled the great deal of pride he had, mocking him by insulting the food he made as nothing but garbage. This from a damned Orc? With the brain capacity of a dung beetle and with the same tastes.
Before his mouth could open for a word edgewise, something heavy and fleshy landed square on him sending him sprawling on his stomach with his face in the dirt.

Sputtering dust and growling, the fiery bearded Cragshield was up in a flash, hoisting the talkative fellow well up over the diminutive cooks shoulders. A gruff little sigh and the man was deposited bodily to the side.

With defeat clear, for the moment, Rairsun marched back the way he'd come. Sputtering dust with every step.

@Lucius Cypher

Jericho largely ignored the commotion around him, content to sit and watch without a word. Observing the others was a decent way to pass the time and seeing all the strange beings armed with strange abilities yet to be shown had his heart and mind racing at the implications. His own magic was simple, a match for his combat techniques relying on heavy but precise blows. Finding weakness on your way to a crippling or even fatal blow.

From the sounds of it an expedition was brewing and Jericho meant to be a part of it.

The Orc suggested some sort of material gathering run into the wilderness, specifically pointing at Jericho but referring to him as fist a knight. Unpleased with the accurate but somehow mocking title, but not bothering to speak of it, Jericho nodded at the Orc.

"If it pleases you, I'd like to scout our surroundings during the expedition."
