I do think its a cute dynamic :D but I'm almost certain its completely platonic- a protective brother kinda vibe. I dont think Galahad works well as a romantic partner. He's someone a groupie would like idolize or put on a pedestal, but once they got into it, I don't think it would last very long, if at all. He's too focused on himself and his own thing to deal with the feelings of others

Its an interesting bit of his character methinks. While he cares deeply for most/all of the members of Warband Phoenix, a lot of the care/concern comes from a need for them to all perform when in combat or other difficult situations. That being said, I think Tatiana would be the only one that Galahad truly loves. Perhaps Ragnar as well.

This Galahad is a lot different than the other time I've played Galahad- a lot more broody and complex than I anticipated. Its a bit difficult getting into his character sometimes, as I'm nowhere near as serious, broody, or complicated in person as I portray this character. I regard myself as rather empathetic and a general worry-wart about others. Galahad in contrast is cold, calculative, and confident in a way that I could never be in person.

Yeah, as shylarah mentioned, I'll be running the MIA folks' characters until they come back. I'll be doing that for Astraea in my next post. There'll be a scene with her and Cillian at the hospital, then they'll reconvene with Tatiana and Galahad at the shipyard. You guys can also do some light controlling of them in the meanwhile as well.

It's interesting that you have different versions of Galahad for different RPs! I'm kind of going through something similar myself, with having certain characters from this version of the story coming over from the previous one. Father Dara, for instance, was actually "my" character in the previous iteration, and he was entirely different. In the old version he was basically what Ragnar is supposed to be in this story-- an outgoing, happy-go-lucky kid. I changed him *a lot* this time around. :p

I've found that the best way for me to truly learn what I want from one of my characters is to play them a few different times in a few different versions of themself. I've had one go from 30 year old organizer of a rebellion against a government oppressing his kind to a brooding young teen escaping strange science experiments to a 70 year old nimble space pirate, and all of them are real reflections of different sides of his personal coin.

Or at least that's the excuse I give for reusing the characters I fall in love with :P

@The Angry Goat Mine tend not to change quite that much...but I do find their concepts grown and expand as they see use in different places. I think the most dramatic changes come when I play them at different ages, but this time around Amune, my Seer girl, is having serious trouble whereas in all other settings she's managed to find training before reaching adulthood. Not knowing how to control her magic and having it affect her to the point where she's not sure what is and isn't real has seriously damaged her confidence, and it's kinda fun.

Ragnar's group got attacked. They won handily. Dara's up to no good. Ilya's mom may be causing problems too.

The Black Glacier in Lanostre is causing problems. Tatiana's dad was murdered, but by her mom who doesn't like summoners. The Lanostran locals don't like being kept in the dark, so Galahad told them what's up.

TBH, I'm probably not the person to ask for a summary. But I could answer specific questions.
