Sounds like a majority for the dwarves. Im not opposed to sending a small group to hold the docks either. What of the savages and other factions in the slums, nobody else is taking note of them?

@JimFromTheOfice Felix nodded and allowed Owelbert to hop on his arm. "I will send a runner to your home and see that your pets make it onto the fleet," he said, standing, "and as it seems this matter is nearly settled, I'll be on my way." He stood and followed Danny out of the room.

@Ludditetechie "The slums, unfortunately, have likely been overrun," Arissa told Luddita. "Those who haven't evacuated have likely been killed or captured."

Luddita glares at Danny "to hell with these pets. Replacable bourgeois frills. We need to put an end to this class divide in our new society. Our huddled masses die as we focus on material possesions." To @everyone "We need to prioritize the lives of the citezenry. Im leaving for the dwarven quarter. Those that give a damn about building a better society can come with me. We'll convene on the docks with any survivors we find."

Thalia frowned at Luddita's sudden change of topic. Maybe she had a point, but was now the time? In any case, she said nothing on that subject.

She wasn't utterly silent, however, saying "Well? Shall we get going, then? We have a majority, and people are dying while we sit here." With that, she got up and left the building, following Danny outside. Once there, she spoke to him as well. "Looks like we're headed to the dwarf quarter. Not that I'd leave us now, but I still think it's the wrong choice. Say... ten gold that I'll kill more Xill than you?"

Despite her apparently carefree attitude, Thalia was worried for her half-siblings, Isla and Erilin. She'd told them to evacuate as soon as possible, but she also knew that either would leap to the aid of anyone who needed it at a moment's notice, and she was afraid that it would get them killed. Still, both could handle themselves in a fight, particularly Erilin, so her doubts were probably groundless. Not that this made it any easier.

@Ciaran@Ludditetechie
Danny was mindlessly muttering to himself like a crazy person when he noticed the two women approach "G'day Hens" @Ciaran he turned specifically to Thalia "I'm disappointed 'alf and half just disappointed. I know you think your wit's aces but "stone'ead" just lost the plot 'fore it even started. I hope you're a right fibber though cause if you really are as good with a foil as you are with your words then I might just 'ave to start beating the Xil meself" he chuckled sharply

The Wizard waved the quips away as he moved on to more serious matters "So you and the Lads got your onions sorted out? I've been thinking about all this todger" he gestured to the siege "I might just be a right plonker but I know some trails you lads might be cuffed to know. All three place 'ave ways you can get to 'em quicker but we risk getting cocked up by the Xil even more than normal course there's also ways us chaps can avoid getting gutted but we'd not get anywhere in a Jiffy. I don't think the lads would take too well to that last one though."

Danny didn't feel the need to mention the Xil and their insect-like traits as well as the incredibly dangerous poisons which can easily cause [...] in normal people. He also didn't mention their tactics especially their habit of [...] or the fact that each Xil soldier could [...] because nobody was stupid enough not to know that right? It's pretty much common knowledge already

Thalia smiled as she sauntered around to Danny, and delivered her riposte. "Alone, Danny? Oh, I can see how the Xill must be quivering in their creeepy insectoid boots at that thought. Imagine! The great Ochidan, hardy enough to survive not one, not two, but three whole toothpick stabs, revered throughout the land for his incredible physical power and toughness! Those Xill wouldn't stand a chance.

"Anyway," she continued, changing the subject, "the tall guy still inside says he's going off on his own, to the docks. Agatha says she's got friends that'll help him out, but otherwise, I think we're headed for the Dwarf quarter. I think the quicker route is best, that'll be the only way we can get both problems solved in time. Shall I take point?"

@Ciaran
Danny just facepalmed sarcastically "Really?" for a moment he sounded genuinely disappointed and was shaking his head while looking at the ground "Pulling out the Squish Wizard card like a right Chav eh? I didn't say I'd take all the wankers by meself just that I'd paste them better than you make shoot quips and I bet I could totally take four hits easy but you know how they are. Honestly, I don't fancy my chances getting so close to one what with their you know?" he mimed fake fangs.

He looked over to Khan then stage-whispered to Thalia " 'e's a right nutter that one eh? Seemed like 'e didn't 'ave all his marbles up here when I saw him but ohh well, hope it goes proper jammy and it doesn't go all tits up else he'd look like a wanker for leaving the lads."

@Cu Chulainn He made his way over to Khan to properly see him off "Hope it doesn't go 'ard cheese on you in the waterworks mate." Danny pulled out his wand as well as two scrolls "Some magic to 'elp you not get pasted" He cast Mage armor on Khan while handing him two scrolls. Danny looked the Monk up and down for a second, figured he looked nothing like a wizard and probably didn't know what those were, wrinkled his face in annoyance then spoke "Scrolls... They're paper that make magic 'appen. Case things get a bit 'airy just do what sorcerors do to do magic then run like buggery"

He made his way to the group going to the Dwarven quarters after casting Mage armor on himself.

As the party made their final preparations, Luddita had cast spiked armor on herself and attempted to cast ironbeard on Thalia.

Upon departing, Danny used his knowledge of the city to direct the group through a few alleys and streets that cut diagonally through the city towards the Dwarven Quarter. Crowds of people raced across your path towards the docks, but thus far you’ve managed to avoid being trampled. As you drew closer to the Quarter, you noticed the streets becoming more and more empty. Halfway through a particularly dark alley, you began to hear the sound of metal scraping against stone, some ways ahead.

Luddita crept to the end of the alley to find a small pack of dwarves covered in cuts and scrapes, bound to one another in leg shackles and being marched down the street towards the wall by two xill soldiers. As Luddita peered out from the alley, both turned their heads and darted towards her, weapons raised.

On the walls to Thalia's right and Agatha's left are doors. Behind Jarven, the alley extends another twenty feet.
