For Pokemon universe characters this is just how old they appear, but they age much slower than us. So for them, it's more about how old they LOOK. Because of this, Pokemon universe characters may look as young as 10.) Gender: Male (optional) Home Town: New York, USA OR Pallet Town (depending on the world they're from)

NOTE: Characters from Earth can be made up or based off someone you know (yourself, a friend, a celebrity). But be sure to change the name if your basing them off a real person. You can use the picture of a real person, but it can't be the same person you're basing your character off. (i.e. Even if you change their name, putting a picture of that person would still be a dead giveaway as to who they are. So you can't use that picture)
NOTE: Characters from the Pokemon world can be completely made up or based off an actual character from the anime/games or a character you made on another RP. If you do choose to bring over a character from another RP, that character has to be a normal person (by standerds set in the anime).
Personality: Circe is a bouncy girl, full of energy, and loves to adventure. She is very out going.
Biography: Catherine grew up just outside of Philadelphia, her whole life she spent most of her time out doors. She was barely walking when pokemon came out, she started with Generation one and started with Bulbasaur as her first pokemon. As she got older she played every other series in the game, Gengar being one of her favorites. While she hit her rebellious teenager years pokemon fell to the side as she went out to party and have fun. But it was still something she held on to, even going as far as to get a tattoo of her favorite Pokemon on her thigh.
Her father was an electrician, who spent time with Catherine out in the woods when she was younger. He passed away when she was 15 due to a heart attack. Her mother was a novelist, known for her fantasy literature. At 16 she picked up a job at goth/punk hair salon. When talk of Pokemon Go hit her salon Catherine refound her lost love again.
Whilst still stronger on Gen 1 and Gen 2, but she has been learning all she can about the older generation. When the earthquake and lighting hit she was at work and thought nothing of it. It wasn't until she saw a Smeagle a few days later did she become excited and is now on her way to take the test to enter boot camp.

Name: Liz
Age: 24
Gender: Transwoman
Home Town: Zuerst Town
Appearance: Picture & Description:
Personality: Cold, calculating, intelligent, very shy, and distrustful.
Biography: Growing up, Thortan was a quiet child, as an only child to the poorest family in Zuerest, he never had a lot growing up. He never had new clothes and would have to wear what was donated or bought from the thrift store. In one of the donations, he found someone had accidently given him a little girls dress, curious he tried it on and knew he had found his self. When his dad found him a little later he became enraged, going as far as using his Growlithe on the poor confused boy. When his mother Ezra found out she immediately through her husband out, she sat down and explained to Thortan, that people would not always be accepting of who he was. She told him that for now, he should not dress as a girl in public, but if this was the path he truly wanted to take, than Ezra would endorse it.
After a lot of soul searching for an eleven year, Thortan told his mother he wanted to become a woman when he got older. She went out and used what little money they had saved up and bought her new daughter some clothes. Asking that she dress like a woman only at home for now. Thortan agreed happily and when he went to school he was Thortan, but the moment he got home he became Liz. For the first time ever he felt comfortable in his own skin, though he knew the fun had to end by school time the next day.
When he was fourteen, he learned an other student came out as non-binary and for the most part had kept his circle of friends and didn't receive to much gruff for it. So following suit, after a week of pleading to her mother Thortan came to school dressed as Liz. Sadly it did not go over so well, other students tortured Liz over her coming out. This made her withdraw even more, but she decided that this was who she was and she wasn't going to let those around drag her down. She may have been poor, and trans, but she knew she wouldn't deal with these people forever. She studied hard, becoming one of the top of her class. When she graduated a year ahead, she knew she wanted to become a pokemon trainer and is now finally ready to start her adventure. Just in time too, the medicine she been taking had finally paid off, and to anyone else outside of Zuerest, would never know she was born a guy.
After her many adventures across Primus and collecting many different pokemon, Liz faced her rival Rin in the Pokemon league championship. With a narrow victory she became the youngest champion at 19. She than used her position to travel the world learning everything about history and how ancient pokemon influenced the world of Primus. She was out training a few new Pokemon when the rift opened up and took her into this new world. Now as a Pokemon historian and Grand Champion she is currently working with pokemon professors from other world's. She impatiently awaits her own team so she can explore this new strange world.
Name: Jason Connor Nickname: Blader Age: 23 Gender: Male Hometown: Jubilife City
Appearance: Jason stands at six feet tall with azure eyes and snow white hair. He wears a red muscle tee with blue jeans and a pair of black hiking boots. He wears his katana strapped to his waist and has a lean, muscular build.
Personality: Jason considers himself a Blade Master in the making, and has always had a fascination with swords and the attached skills. He's calm and generally very quiet, liking to learn what he can about someone or their problems before offering advice or deciding how the are. He cares deeply for his Pokemon and the feeling is returned. He often spends time training with his Pokemon personally, making sure that they're always ready for anything as well as keeping himself in shape. Once he calls someone friend, he'll protect them with his life and won't stand for any harm, be it verbal or physical, befall them. When he practices alone, it’s usually with a katana.
Biography: Jason was born to a couple who had only been married a couple years, but who had not wasted time setting their lives on the right track. Within the first six months, the pair had bought an old Renaissance Fair that had, by all rights, been on its last legs. Many of the performers had left and found work in higher paying areas of their expertise, had forgotten why they worked the Fair in the first place, and it was the joy they brought others. Several internal interviews later revealed several more potential dropouts, who were given a final paycheck and a gentle boot to the metaphorical curb before the work to restore the Fair began.
It was a year and a half after their marriage that the reinvigorated fair reopened, though Charlotte and Reginold had found out three months prior that Charlotte was pregnant. And thus, Jason Connor came along. From the age of three, when he began to show an understanding of what was going on around him, he was drawn not to the cheers and horse whinnies of the jousting arena, much to his mother’s relief, but to the clangs and cheers of the sword duels. He found himself enthralled by the scene and as he grew older, began looking into learning how to wield one himself.
His mother encouraged this, telling stories about knights and their companion Pokemon, such as Sir Earnhert and his Bisharp, who became a Blademaster of his time, unparalleled in sword combat by any but another master.. Enthralled, it wasn’t long before a young Jason began his own quest to become a Blademaster in a modern time. First was the forging of his blade of choice, a katana, though he spent the time it was being forged practicing with a wooden one or out exploring, honing his reflexes.
It was about when he reached age ten that he was out exploring a field when he was jumped by a group of angry wild Rattatas. They knocked the startled young man to the ground and began to Scratch him mercilessly. A young Ralts, who had been passing by on his hunt for food, heard the commotion and came to his rescue, and that's when he met Slayer. The young man returned home with Slayer, feeling a connection to the young Ralts. With the katana finished forging shortly after, his father began helping him learn how to use a sword and, through intense training, he forged a powerful bond with Slayer and other Pokemon. He was traveling the world, looking to perfect his blade techniques and become the first true Blademaster of a new world, searching for Latios in an effort to learn how to increase his speed and agility, when the strange wormhole sent him to Earth and turned his life upside down.
Pokemon Team
Personality: Slayer is a leader type Pokemon, always willing to take charge and make sure things get done. As a result, he is often at odds with Gaia. He also is perhaps the most patient on the whole team, able to tolerate any insults that occur from butting heads with Gaia and put up with Prankster's "jokes" better than anyone else. He likes to watch for his opponent to make a mistake, remaining on the defensive until he can spot an opening in his opponents movements. When he does, he strikes hard and fast, making his opponent suffer. He often uses double team to ensure the strike lands as intended. He sees himself as Jason's protector after the event with the Rattatas.
Personality: Gaia is another leader personality and she often has issues with Slayer for it. However, she's very loyal to Jason, especially since he helped her recover from a defeat at a Zangoose’ hands, and is always willing to compromise with Slayer. Has a short temper and often lashes out at Prankster when he pulls a prank on her, usually involving his Substitute move and Fly. Will use Razor Wind to keep her opponent on the defensive until she can get close enough to strike with Shadow Claw or Night Slash to finish the fight.
Personality: Crunch is the forward attack aspect of the team, usually leading the way with his slash in double battles or striking against his foe quickly and without warning with Dig. He also tends to be a bit easily excited, unlike others of his species, who tend to be more aggressive. He tends to stand up for Prankster when Gaia flips her lid on him, and is a mediator for conflicts in the team.
Personality: Tracer is both a fighter and a lover, using his love for his friends to fuel him in a fight, helping him to win against even impossible odds. When he isn't in the heat of battle, he's trying to woo female of similar type into mating with him, or at least going out on a date. Unfortunately, he gets turned down a lot so he isn't the most happy Pokemon around. However, he's still happy enough to interact with the rest of the team. He also acts as the team’s water transport.
Personality: Prankster's name is born from his and Jason's first meeting, a playful joke involving his Substitute and a hole a Diglett friend of his had made and covered with leaves. Jason, in his urgency to help the fake Skarmory, fell into the hole and landed on the soft dirt bed beneath. Laughing as he climbed out, he spotted the real one, who quickly took a liking to Jason. He serves as the hit and run master of team, confusing his opponent with his Substitute and then going for the KO.
Personality: Lucky is so named because when he was a Riolu, he'd been left for dead by a rather nasty trio of Mankeys. Laying in the road in the rain when Jason found him, Jason took him in and raised him, helping him regain his strength and then grow stronger. Despite Jason's best efforts, however, he refuses to be a social aspect of the team, instead preferring to remain alone and train. He's the jack of all trades, able to hit a foe from any distance and make the feel it. Has a strong dislike for Gaia for her being an Absol, but often simply ignores it. He is the guard of the group, watching over the others while they rest and protecting them from harm in any way possible.
Personality: Forest is a somewhat reserved person who’s rather good at socializing, but has trouble making friends that last. For the few that do stick by him despite his strangeness, he’s loyal and honest, not to mention fiercely protective.
Biography: Born in Ketchikan, Alaska to a mother who’d not yet graduated high school and a father who had no interest in being a dad at a young age, but he was still very loved. He spent much of his early life on the move, vaguely recalling moving between La Grande, Oregon, Vale, Oregon, and Ketchikan for the first couple of years of his life. Finally, his grandparents, and mother settled in two different towns, his grandparents in Vale and he and his mother in La Grande. It was there that she met Forest’s stepdad.
The two dated until he was four, when they got married, with the young Forest Hunt as the ringbearer. He retained his mother’s maiden name when the two got married and until he was a teenager, he and his father got along. However, when he was older, he got into Pokemon, with his first game being Fire Red. He wasted no time in backtracking to play both Generation One and Two games, falling in love with Crystal and Yellow respectively. And while he did play other games besides Pokemon, he always returned to the pocket monsters whenever he needed something that didn’t make him want to grind his teeth in frustration.
The last game he played was Pokemon Pearl, before calling it quits on the series due to a sense of forced ideas he got from subsequent games like X and Y, but returned to it for a round with Heart Gold, which became another of his favorites. When the brief but powerful storm hit, he was in his room doing some indoor workouts while also binge watching the Pokemon Anime. Afterwards, he began hearing some rumors about people seeing creatures like Pokemon, but, until he saw a group of Marill floating down the Snake River, he didn’t believe any of them.
After words, he wasted no time in applying for the test to become a trainer and then soon began studying up on the generations he missed. The addition of the Fairy Type has somewhat thrown off his game, but it hasn’t stopped him from trying to get things learned and has so far done a good job with help from his wife, who encourages him to keep going even when he wants to quit.
Personality: Mililani was once an energetic and adventurous person. Now, that energy manifests as cynicism and a quick temper. She tends to focus on people's negative traits and assume the worst about them, until they prove themselves trustworthy - and in her eyes, it takes a lot to do that. She shows a friendlier side around her Pokemon, who have been her constant companions throughout her travels and the only ones who have stayed true to her.
Strongly disliking fake people, she values honesty, to the point that she can be blunt. She doesn't always live up to this value, however, as she tries to hide her more vulnerable, lonely side from others, insisting she's alright when she isn't.
Her curiosity isn't completely gone, although her desire to explore is tempered with wariness and a tendency to prepare for the worst.
History: Growing up in the beautiful Hau'oli City, Mililani preferred to spend her time outdoors rather than indoors. Her father, who ran a cosy little hotel on the seafront, appeared warm and charming towards the public, but showed his true, controlling side towards the family. To escape this toxic environment, Lani would hang out around the seafront and shops with her two closest friends, Lea and Kale. She'd also befriend the local Pokemon, turning out to take after her mother, a nurse, in personality - if she found a sick or injured Pokemon, she'd help them in any way she could.
Finally, her mother left the guy and moved with Lani to Iki Town. Lani still frequently met up with Lea and Kale, and after completing her schooling, set out with them on a Pokemon training journey. Her disillusioned mother warned her to be cautious, as people weren't always what they seemed.
At first, Mililani didn't think much about this. She was around people she trusted. Over time, though, she noticed Pokemon training had brought out a side to Lea and Kale she hadn't noticed before. It started with their joking mockeries of her starter choice, Popplio. Then, when Kale's Rowlet evolved into Dartrix, his attitude towards its ditziness turned harsh. He'd talk down to anyone who lost to him, including her, and push his Pokemon too hard while trying to be the best. Lea, meanwhile, displayed an elitist side that had come across as confidence in the past, and ditched the other two after befriending a group of other trainers she believed would be more helpful to her during her travels.
Setting off on her own, Mililani decided it was time for a change of direction, joining Aether Foundation. There were three reasons for this. Firstly, it would be a way to help Pokemon. Secondly, she reasoned they'd keep her in check in case being a trainer brought out a less than pleasant side to her. And lastly, it was a reminder that there were genuinely good people in the world, without any ulterior motives...
... Right?
As soon as she found out about their dirty secrets, she quit. Having given up on humanity, she travelled across Alola by herself, still studying and caring for the Pokemon she found, but with no idea where to go or who to turn to. As it turned out, her next destination wouldn't even be her choice. Freak storms swept the land, followed by an earthquake, and the next thing Mililani knew, she'd ended up in a strange, unfamiliar world.
Was it something to do with the wormholes she'd once studied, leading to other dimensions? She doesn't know, but working with the experts to find out is something she's reluctant to do. For all she knows, they could be trying to turn this to their advantage.
Pokemon Team:
Knowing she isn't the most popular Pokemon species in the world, Naia started out a little shy, but Mililani helped her build her confidence over time. Quieter and less showy that most in the Popplio line, she comforts distressed Pokemon by softly singing to them. She evolved all the way into Primarina in Alola, but found herself changed back into a Brionne on Earth.
While kind, he's a little mischievous, sneaking treats from his trainer's bag or tying knots in her hair when she's not looking. He has more of a healing role than a combat one, but will fight to assist and defend others.
Found as an abandoned Riolu, she warmed to Mililani and her team, becoming unwaveringly loyal. She has a prideful streak and loves competition, constantly pushing herself to become stronger and refusing to show any sign of weakness.
This peppy Pokemon first approached Mililani while the trainer was in the dumps after an argument with her travelling companions, and put on a pom-pom dance for her. Tiny yet brimming with energy, she spends most of her time in her electric form.
The peacekeeper of the team, Aouli calmly resolves arguments (usually started by Ohanna or Keahi), or at least tries to. While usually gentle, it's a bad idea to make him angry, especially by harming his trainer or teammates.
After Mililani chased a flock of menacing Mandibuzz away from him with her Primarina, the little wild Cubone decided to stay with her. His abundance of natural enemies made him cautious, a trait that remained even after he evolved, although he became much more feisty and began to respond to perceived threats by attacking. Naia, who acts like an adoptive mother to him, often has to calm him down with her songs.
Name: Ryan Harrell Age: 24 Gender: Male Hometown: Lyndhurst, England
Appearance:
Personality: Ryan is a serious and practical young man, with plenty of outdoor activity and travelling experience. He prefers to explore rather than stay in one place. He knows a fair amount about survival in the wilderness, but this can make him rather overconfident about his skills, even if somebody else might know better.
Beneath his tough guy exterior is a bit of a dreamer and a lover of many things considered "nerdy" such as video games, because of the adventure aspect. He never truly stopped wondering what it would be like to be a Pokemon trainer, and now is his chance to find out.
History: Born in New Forest with an activities assistant for a father and a wildlife photographer for a mother, Ryan spent much of his childhood in the great outdoors. Whether it was camping, canoeing or observing animals, there was always something to do.
One thing he and his older brother Nathan loved to do as their parents took them for walks in the woods was pretend to be Pokemon trainers. They'd always be rival trainers, of course, competing to see who could catch the most Pokemon or win the most battles. As the boys grew up, Nathan lost his interest in the franchise, but Ryan never did. Worried about what his peers would think, he kept this to himself, secretly playing through all seven generations over time.
He was with his friends at a New Year party when the earthquake and storms hit. Thankfully neither he nor the others were hurt, but that didn't mean things would return to normal. It started with a photo his mother sent him the next day of a bug that looked a great deal like a Ledyba. At first he thought it was a Photoshopped image sent as a prank, but later he got the surprise of his life to see a Skitty chasing a flock of Pidgey down the street. As soon as the government's decision to offer tests to people wishing to become trainers was announced, Ryan signed right up, eager to live his childhood fantasy.
Now that being a master is a valid life goal instead of a mere game objective, he's much more open about his love of Pokemon.
