"Yes, some. It is a peaceful place, ruled over by a single monarch. We have not had need for war in some time. It has been peaceful for as long as I can remember." Another technical truth. The planet's almost barbaric level of warfare ended before Epsilon was released. In fact, the end of the war was responsible for their position now.

Bailon jabbed Epsilon in the back, but they kept talking.

"I'm afraid, though, my guardian and I live simple lives, out of the way. I don't know much about city life, or politics."

Thinking for a bit about everything, Light was a bit irked at just how bloodthirsty Porci was. "You know... They haven't done a full invasion yet. Maybe we could get lucky and win this diplomatically? At least for now? I can go and scout them until they do something bad. They can't pick me up on their scouters." Light suggested. She highly doubted anything could be solved without fighting with the PTO, but not everyone in the PTO was an evil monster.

"Oho" Satay's lips curled into a thin smile, seeing the procedures of Glaceo. For such a droll, no nonsense kind of leader, he sometimes could entertain exotic notions to what PTO should do at times. Frieza was an animal, and Satay held no illusion about half of their tropes. Cooperation was not possible, unless it was on draconian terms. But the folks at the planet did not know that. Glaceo probably wanted to keep them deluded.

Ain't he sharper than he looks, that one? The sorceress smiled. "Carrot, rather than Stick?" She said to Glaceo. "Well, I can follow that, Lord Glaceo." The woman tilted her head. "Although... I am a bit concerned about our lack of persuasion abilities." She added as she began to walk away towards the medical bay of the ship, an idea already forming on her mind. It would take a little of effort and perhaps quite a bit of magic, but she believed it could work. She swayed her hips walking proud as she were a cat, right into where the healing pods were, and picked a couple of items from the table. Scalpel and gauze. She frowned for a moment, gripping the scalpel with decision...

And seconds later, after a small grunt of pain, an amputated pinky finger was resting on the table, as the sorceress deftly bandaged the stump left on her left hand as if it had been the most normal thing of the word. She then kissed the pinky and tossed it in one of the healing vats, as she began to chant and concentrate. Magical energies surrounded the device, as thaumaturgic forces gave shape to the flesh and changed the finger into something else, just as it healed and grew at an accelerated pace. A copy of herself, an artificial human, bound to her whims.

Upon speaking the other body inside the vat, fully grown, she clicked her scouter once. "1350... Huh, well it'll do. It was a shoddy work done with a pinky finger after all. Also, i think I really need to exercise a bit. I am getting a bit heavy in the rear." Much to the despaired look of the scientists and healers there, he extracted the eerily quiet copy of hers from the vat, in her natural suit. The creature did not speak until Satay leant forward and kissed her copy in the mouth, granting the final touch, the mockery of life. Aiming with her finger, she employed her Magic Materialization to give her a PTO suit, and picking a nearby scouter, affixed it to her copy, ruffling her hair slightly.

"All done. Your name shall be Mina, for you come out of my pinky." Satay clapped her hands as she led her copy back into the main room, where Glaceo stood. "Allow me to fetch you a better...actress for this role, my lord Glaceo." She added, as she kicked the still stunned homunculus. "Mina. Pitiable, isn't it? With her landing planetfall, we will dispel the notion we PTO are actually as aggressive as they think we are." She added, smirking at her creation.

The homunculus just looked at her, like a lost puppet, and shivered.

A monarchy, is it? Glaceo rubbed his chin thoughtfully. Unfortunately, monarch's had a habit of being like misers with their power. Most of them were like Lord Frieza, gripping power and authority tightly like a miser's purse and completely unwilling to relinquish any of it for any reason. So convincing a monarch - even of a peaceful world like this one - to effectively share some their authority with another, especially if that other was someone like Frieza? It wasn't going to be easy. If this were a democracy or republic, then Glaceo could appeal to multiple individuals in order to win a majority vote. Just how peaceful was this planet, really? One of the inhabitants spoke of not needing war for a long time. That implied a dark chapter in the planet's history.

"Ask for directions to their capital city, then take your leave. Tell them you need to report back to your superiors. They have no reason to try and stop you, but if they do, then deal with them at your own discretion." then Glaceo glanced up as Satay spoke. She seemed to be catching on to what made Glaceo so unique among the Galactic Frieza Army. That was fine, perhaps she'd find his leadership more favorable than that of Frieza. Either way, as long as she remained an ally and not a threat then he would not act against her in any way.

"Carrots make for more effective bait than sticks, my dear." he replied, then watched her leave the room. She mentioned being unsure about their ability to persuade, but did not divulge any information beyond that. Well, while he waited for whatever Satay had in mind, Glaceo began to put a plan of his own into motion. He briefly returned to his quarters and retrieved a simple cloak from his wardrobe. It was there when he needed to be more discreet, or perhaps move around without his lineage drawing unnecessary attention. He held the cloak draped over his arm as he returned to the observation bridge.

"Ready a landing pod." he told one of the officers, who saluted and then briskly walked away to follow the order. By then Satay had returned, and she wasn't alone. She was accompanied by something Glaceo could only describe as a clone. It looked very much like Satay, but it didn't seem as strong nor as intelligent. In fact it looked rather timid and unassuming. Not at all like something bent on the conquest of a planet. The clone - Mina, Satay called it - might be useful for what Glaceo had in mind. And like her earlier ability, Glaceo's only offered reaction was to mentally file it away in case such a skill ever came in handy in the future.

"That should do nicely," Glaceo said, lifting the clone girl's chin to examine her more closely, "yes, well enough. The two of us will be landing, her and I." Glaceo announced, "Once Arkos gets me coordinates for this planet's capital we'll be taking a landing pod there. I want to personally learn a bit more about this planet before we actually make a move. I'm especially interested in this monarch that apparently rules it, and whatever skeletons they have hidden in their closet."

A R K O S

β€’ Planet Balsora β€’
Age 762 (Date Unknown)
@Double@AtomicNut@Gisk

Arkos listened calmly, offering a small nod to the information he was given by the native. "Thank you," he said with little to no worry in his voice. He couldn't help but chuckle at the actions of the companion of the apparent female he'd been speaking to. She seemed a little more cautious, no doubt a tad more knowledgeable of the PTO. Still, they were not the average PTO legion. Albeit, in name, even if that were all one were to consider, they were much worse. There lord, were he calling the shots, would likely have called for the extermination of the planet without a second thought.

However, they had neither the man power nor the present resources to handle such a task. Still, something felt off about the information he was getting. But if Glaceo wanted to move on, he'd do just that. "That all being said," he began as he glanced around before continuing, "could you give me the coordinates to the home of the ruler of this world?" Arkos didn't expect to get an answer so simply. "Even if you don't have such exact information, simply pointing me in the right direction would be helped." He added after a brief moment of contemplation on the matter.

New Arrival

> Planet Balsora <
Still... The Beginning
@CaptainSully@Archmage MC@Weird Tales

As the rebel meeting continued soon a new alert would blare through the meeting place. If they had been wondering why nobody else had been showing up, it was because they may have been busy. On the other side of the planet, other PTO pods had been spotted. As they plummeted to the planet one of the pods crashed through a large building on one of the moving cities. These pods, and the armor of the individuals in them, however, bore the insignia of Cooler. The Brother to the self-proclaimed "Galactic Emperor" Frieza and arguably more controlled of the two. Even so, within each army were oddballs. This force was had taken inspiration from the Ginyu Force. Though still fiercely loyal to Cooler, they took the words "by any means necessary" to be the most important part of their orders. It was always a good excuse to just begin with an attack. Get antagonized and give a reason for why and how it came about genocide to commandeer the planet.

"So much for the element of surprise." One of the individuals, a large humanoid snake like being with red scales said as he exited his pod.

"And who's fault is that." Another voice, from a female anthropomorphic cheetah like being, rang out soon after. the bickering would continue as the five finally emerged and gathered, staring down the city which had stopped in its tracks after the sudden crash and arrival of unknown visitors.

"Well, that's difficult. The city moves, you see. Flying," they moved a hand above their head as if to demonstrate something flying, and made whooshing noise. "Runs on the energy of the people. It's magnificent, actually, but it hasn't flown by here in months. I can't be of much help if you want to go looking for it."

"Yes," Bailon interjected finally, "Sorry we couldn't be of any more help, but good luck to you, have a nice day!" She said this very quickly, in a higher voice than normal.

"Oh. Fairwell to you!"

They waited until the soldiers were gone and out of sight before flying away themselves.

"A moving city?" Glaceo rubbed his chin thoughtfully. No, he had not yet disconnected communications with Arkos. He heard the answer to his question, the city they were looking for was a flying one. Powered by the very energy of the inhabitants, if the native's words were to be believed. Well, that would make things a little bit more complicated. Then again, flying cities had a tendency to stick out like sore thumbs. Plus, if it was powered by people's energy, then there was a good chance that the city itself would be giving off a high power level reading.

"Look for the highest power level on the planet. More specifically, one that is constantly on the move. I'll bet my Scouter that that's where we'll find this flying city of theirs." Glaceo said, both to Arkos over the communication and to his crew on the ship. With enough people scanning the planet for power level readings, it wouldn't be long before one of them found it. Glaceo soon activated his own Scouter and began scanning over the planet one area at a time. That was when his prototype Scouter picked up a set of energy signals making landfall on the planet, "Now who could this be? Bridge, focus the scanners on the coordinates I'm about to send you." he pressed a button non his Scouter and awaited a response.

"S-sir it's... the signals belong to the PTO." Glaceo heard on his Scouter a moment later.

"That's not possible. We're the only PTO vessel on this system." responded Glaceo, intrigued but also slightly annoyed.

"We're the only Galactic Frieza Army ship in this sector, sir. But these appear to belong to the Cooler Squadron."

That? That got Glaceo's attention. Suddenly he was far more interested... and more annoyed, "Cooler Squadron, is it? Damn, those fools will ruin everything! Arkos," Glaceo suddenly switched comm channels to address the Saiyan, "You're not alone down there. We've picked up signals from ships belonging to the Cooler Squadron. It seems someone is trying to steal our prize out from under us. This cannot be allowed. Find them and observe from a distance. If the planet's natives cannot fight them off, then step in. We may yet be able to use this to our advantage if we play our cards right."

Satay made no obvious gesture, as the group of powers appeared in the corner of her conscience, the intensity of their "ki" being unlike many beings in the planet. Five to one disadvantadge, huh? You got a tough cookie, Glaceo. She thought to herself. Maybe it'd be wise to start formulating some kind of escape plan, should the worst came to happen. It never hurt. She frowned. She did not like this one bit.

Her clone, with a fraction of her skills, but unfortunately the detection of ki aswell started to whine in a rather high pitched sound, clutching her homunculus head with her hands and assuming a foetal position all while trembling. "They'll come, they'll come, they'll come" She repeated, blubbering, before Satay gave the artificial being an energetic kick. "Shut it. We don't know how powerful they are yet." She added, emphasizing the last word. The clone seemed to get it, as she quietly, but still shivering, shut her mouth.

"Get me a topographic scan of the planet" The witch said to the miscellaneous staff around the ship, as she eyed at Glaceo, while rolling her eyes at her clone's antics. "Laying some traps and ambushes on our own might help. Just in case." She added with a stern hint of seriousness in her voice, as she strutted towards one screen unimpeded.

Sully had been deep in thought a while as the trio waited for more of the rebel forces to appear, but to no avail. Time ticked past and in his mind he was concerned that the longer they did nothing, the worse things would become. It was then the alarms of the meeting place rang out loud. ALERT! ALERT! LANDING PODS HAVE HIT CITY BETA! CIVILIAN CASUALTIES CONFIRMED!

The expression on Sully's mask turned to one of pure rage, the invasion had clearly begun while the group stood around talking. He clenched his fists tight trying to stem his anger. "I knew this would happen!" he shouted. "We need to get to Beta now!" He knew that they would need to get to the city as soon as possible to minimise casualties, he couldn't see Balsora reach the same fate as his own planet.

Channeling his ki beneath him, Sully shot up into the air and began flying towards the new landing spot. He hoped that Light and Porci would be right behind him when he got there, he would likely need all the help he could get.

Porci

Location: Balsora - Rebel Radio Outpost

Porci's left eye twitched as he felt his anger rise a bit when Light made the suggestion of diplomacy and he was about to become very stern with her when alarms went off and he didn't have to be a genius to know that they meant something not right was happening. He saw Sully's facial expression turn into one of great anger and Porci immediately knew that they were not going to be doing any sort of diplomacy. Sully said that they needed to head to the city of Beta immediately and he then took off into the air.

Porci smiled, finally they were going to get some action soon and he powered up a bit causes the ground to shake and dust to fly up around him. He took off into the air after the Alterran and quickly hurried to catch up to his ally.

"So what's the plan of attack? I say we hit hard and hit quick and ask questions later? Just kick some PTO ass that's what I say" he said to Sully as he flew up beside him.

Light

"Guess peace isn't going to be an option... Bloody PTO." Light said begrudingly as her partners flew off to where the alarm said to go. Even if they were flying at full speed, Light would be the first to arrive. After all, she could teleport while they could not. Rending a hole in the air, Light jumped through the portal she created, appearing near the city that was under attack.

And unlike her partners, she was extremely hard to detect, as she never showed up on scouters. Even people who could inherantly sense power would have issues, since her power was of entropy and was easily masked by others. Plus her power made those around her appear weaker, which was pretty handy. Finding a good outcrop, she watched as a snake man and a cheetah lady were hovering over the city. She'd jump in when her allies got here, or things got even worse. Right now there wasn't anything going on.

Porci flew close to Sully as they both headed to Beta. The little creature was nothing short of a sex pest but at least he was up for the fight. "So what's the plan of attack? I say we hit hard and hit quick and ask questions later? Just kick some PTO ass that's what I say." It was refreshing to hear something come from his mouth that wasn't some sort of innuendo or comment on the female form. "I'm glad you're up for this fight." Sully quickly looked to his other side and Light was nowhere to be seen. "I guess she's done her teleport trick again. Come on lets get moving."

The pair arrived at Beta to find the landing pod crater deserted, the trail it left after sliding across the floor still smouldering. The building it had hit was a raging inferno but apart from that, Sully couldn't see anything or anyone. It didn't mean that they were alone though. Sully put himself into a defensive stance before speaking to his companion, "Porci can you see anyone?"
