Edward Teach is a sort of man who feels like everyone is out to use him. This comes from his tactic of using everyone he becomes acquainted with. He will show face of being a good person and a better friend once you get to know him, but he will just as likely toss you overboard in a fight if you will cause him to falter. There are few acceptations to his two faced behavior and that is his captain, and a few others in higher command than him.

Edward is very bitter about his past. knowing very little of his mother and father mixed with being raised on the seas by pirates he is hyper violent to those he sees as enemies and will stop at nothing to get any info about his family's past. Edward has frequent dreams regarding the event causing him to cast self doubt on weather or not This is what his family would have wanted.
