Yeah and 88% heal definitely saves him, if the obstruction is removed. Someone needs to pull the wood out.

@rush99999 There is a chest of some gear near the back of the ship in the captain's quarters. Kahal would see it since he's looking for loot. I'll come up with a loot roll to decide what you find if that sounds good to you guys (for chest and such).

Edit #1: Added a burial and spirit system. Player spirits are hostile creatures that can come in a few forms (forms not yet listed) To avoid the wrath of a haunted spirit then give them a proper burial and put their soul to rest!

Wanted to mention that encounter rolls, rolls which decide if you encounter creatures to battle, happen whenever you enter a new area (the small locations within a region) this means that unless you want to fight creatures solo make sure your party is with you. You guys can discuss in OOC which direction you want to go and if you're going together. I will do encounter rolls each time you enter a new area. So if Fahall the Frozen for example goes off on his own, he will run into an encounter just like the party would.

Edit #1: [Resource Points] added to OP and [Resources] has been renamed, [Resources and Their Uses]



Edit #2: Resource Points expanded upon to include experience earnings.

Edit #3: Character Creation related material copied over to a 0th post on the Character section. In case you're writing your character over there and want to just scroll up to read info rather than have another tab open.

@rush99999 Many, to avoid spoilers I'll simply say there is not a province capable of purchasing your loot for quite some distance. Party #2 is building one in The Eastern Forest a few regions from you but they've just claimed it and have yet to build anything there.

Edit #1: @rush99999 I pinged you on discord but you must be offline, if you want Fahall to be either solo or in a separate "party" just let me know and you can go do whatever you want without the need of the party. However I will say that I won't hold back, I'll throw the same creatures at you I would a party and it'll be up to you to overcome them or die trying.

So your saying that even though it's stated in the lore that is quite easy to start a settlement in the Eastern Forest, and even though 15 years have passed since that became the case, there's nowhere nearby where I can sell a weapon?

@rush99999 There was, it's destroyed. I did this for two reasons, one so you guys had a "cleared zone" that you could build your own province should you wish (and Party #2 took that opportunity) and the second reason simply being making maps is the most time-consuming thing I have to do. They have to be designed and balanced over and over again. Like I said before, I'm not able to just pull from some D&D book with established lore, locations, and creatures. I'm having to make this day by day and I've sunk 3-6 hours a day designing or leading sessions in order to get where we are now. I will be adding more, always, but you have to understand that takes time.

The Bandit Making Contest has been extended indefinitely and will instead be a weekly event where I add bandits to the world based on what you guys submit. They'll be listed as characters under the [Bandits] section and dms can use them in their campaigns. @OtomostheCrazy is the first to enter with their bandit, Jerimiah the Mountain! Looking forward to seeing them in the world @OtomostheCrazy (feel free to repost them in the Characters section when you have the time and I'll update the link)

Edit #1: @rush99999 has decided to temporarily drop from the rp so I will be adding an [Inactive] section to the character list for players who are, well, inactive. They will not be counted towards a party and thus won't gain experience, but they won't be killable and thus can be picked up and used again later when the player has the time to come back n_n

Edit #2: All character related info moved over to the Character Section's 0th post. OOC 0th post hidden for now until something useful needs to be added there.

Edit #3: Currently working on an Herbalist Role. This will introduce items which can be used mid-combat and a toxic system which functions similarly to Stun, a gauge which fills from the use of solvents. If you allow toxic to surpass your limits you will start to overdose and lose massive amounts of health. This will also apply to creatures and NPCs so you could potentially make them overdose on toxic substances. (Note I was previously referring to some poison descriptions as toxic substances, those are now no longer accurate and I will change those to say poison so the two are not confused)



Toxic Resist will go along with Fortitude just like Stun and Pierce resist.

Hello guys,

So it has come to my attention everyone it still on the beach XD I know the post format is going to be slower than the traditional format but I would have hoped to be further by now. Does anyone have suggestions as to how we can speed this up? Otherwise, any traditional playing parties will be flying past post-written players every time.
